Today's movie is 2003's Down with Love, a movie that somehow arrived 40 years too late on purpose. It's part romantic comedy, part satire, part love letter to the Doris Day and Rock Hudson sex comedies of the late '50s and early '60s. And depending on who you ask, it's either criminally underrated... or proof that audiences don't actually want irony wrapped inside nostalgia.
