This week on Wheel of Film, we're heading to the Grid—a place where the laws of physics don't matter, motorcycles leave laser walls behind them, and somehow Jeff Bridges is playing both the chillest guy alive and the creepiest guy alive... at the same time.
Tron: Legacy picks up nearly 30 years after the original film. Sam Flynn, the rebellious son of legendary programmer Kevin Flynn, receives a mysterious page that leads him into the digital world his father disappeared into decades earlier. Once inside, Sam discovers the Grid has evolved into a dazzling—but dangerous—digital empire ruled by CLU, a younger digital copy of Kevin obsessed with creating perfection. Together with the mysterious warrior Quorra, Sam has to escape the Grid before perfection wipes out humanity.
