Coom & Currie Sports cards
Remember that rush of excitement when you found a special card in a pack as a kid? That nostalgic thrill has evolved into something much more powerful for today's collectors.
What begins as an innocuous purchase—a Tyler Lockett card from Pike Market in Seattle—quickly transforms into a full-fledged obsession that consumes both time and finances. Our hosts share their remarkably similar journeys into the trading card world, despite focusing on different sports: one drawn to NFL cards, the other to football/soccer.
We candidly explore the psychological elements that make card collecting so addictive. From the adrenaline rush of opening packs to the thrill of scoring a rare find online, both hosts acknowledge their struggles with "throttling back" their spending while maintaining their passion for the hobby.

Mile-High Box Break: Two Friends Reunite, Trade Lessons From A Year In The Hobby, And Plan A Live Store Rip
A motion‑tracking iPad, a misplaced WWE belt, and a mile‑high Mosaic rip set the tone for a UK homecoming that changes how we collect. With postage slashed and eBay at our fingertips, we talk about the sheer joy of next‑day mail, the bargains that surface before the holidays, and the art of making fair offers that actually land. Along the way we pull a Jalen Milroe Origins RPA, debate what makes a “true RPA,” and share why a clean design and player connection often matter more than technical purism.
We also map out a big week ahead: recording from the Fanatics Regent Street flagship, testing the break area for a live rip, and visiting an independent North London card shop to support the grassroots scene. Trades flow too — Jets pieces for a friend, Seahawks colour‑match autos into the PC — and we dig into the difference between flipping to fund the collection and chasing quick cash. If you’ve ever wondered when to sell, when to hold, or how to build a personal collection that still feels intentional a year later, you’ll find practical guardrails and a few cautionary tales.
On the pitch and the gridiron, form fuels the hunt. A sharper Liverpool shape brings balance and belief, while the Seahawks deliver a professional 26‑0 and the Packers find rhythm behind Jordan Love. Those storylines inform what we chase: rookies with room to grow, legends that anchor a binder, and inserts that simply look beautiful. Mosaic blasters remind us why product experience matters — varied inserts, retail‑exclusive colours, and even coach cards that make the binder smile.
Join us for a warm, first‑person tour through collecting wins and lessons, from negotiating etiquette to festive timing. If you enjoy sports cards, eBay tactics, PC vs flipping chat, and live store energy, you’ll feel right at home. Hit follow, share with a hobby friend, and tell us the card you’re hunting before year’s end.
On the the iPad.
SPEAKER_01:Wow, welcome to episode twenty-three. A bit of the green room spilling in there on uh on BC, but uh couple of things to hit straight off straight from the off. BC, welcome back to the UK.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, thank you. Thank you for having me. Um in your in our in our country. It's um the old place don't change much.
SPEAKER_01:No, the humble abode is uh deteriorating in quality. Um but you're here, we're we're on the same we're in the same uh we're both from Greenwich meantime. So uh you know welcome and welcome to the iPad. Uh BC is on a what can only be described as a motion detecting iPad camera. He's having a waveless time.
SPEAKER_03:It's attracting from the pod, isn't it? Like you it I don't know what the setting is, but it just seems to wherever I move, it seems to track me. So and like a ch like the child I am, uh I can't stop. I can't stop doing it.
SPEAKER_01:What we what what I can also see in the background there is uh none other than the WWE title belt.
SPEAKER_03:I've got a story about that.
SPEAKER_01:Oh yeah, go on, jump into it.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we the whole the when I knew that I was coming back, all I wanted to do was find where I'd stored it. Um and I couldn't I couldn't quite remember, so I wanted to be reunited with it. Emma bought it for me on my 30th, um and I went out to my parents' garage, rifled through all the boxes, and I couldn't find it. This was on like day two or something. Um and then we moved a few more out of the way, I think it was yesterday. I've gone through every box, I'm claiming uh it's not here. I out of frustration, I even turned on my mum and said, You must have got rid of it, you know, rid of it. And she's like, No, I haven't touched it. I'm like, you must have, you know, you've got to blame someone. Yeah. Um and then I I finally looked in a box, I'd looked in about six or seven times and realised it was actually in there. So um absolute jubilation, yeah. So I've got it back. And you can see it if I move my head out of the way, it's just in that back corner there. Look.
SPEAKER_01:Was there an apology towards uh towards Wendy from that?
SPEAKER_03:There will be at some stage.
SPEAKER_01:Let the dust settle. It feels like a this feels like a uh post-match interview. Yeah, there might be at some stage later on down the line, but uh we move on.
SPEAKER_03:I think that's it. I think that's the male thing, isn't it? When you when some sort of going your way, just just you've got to blame. I said to her, I'm laying the foundations, aren't I? If it didn't turn up, I've ultimately got to blame someone, so you just start sowing the seed, you know. Um but no, all turned up all safe and well.
SPEAKER_01:Safe and well, long journey. Um yeah, uh well, just glad to have you back. Obviously, there's been uh uh how can I put this a hotspot from yourself with uh certain website um otherwise known as eBay, something that you how can you put this? New Zealand doesn't you can access it but it doesn't have a specific like that right?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, so yeah, like eBay, like you can get eBay in Australia, like you can get the UK one and America. you know, like the dot com or whatever it is. Um but yeah, like New Zealand doesn't have it. So New Zealand has a uh a platform similar called Trade Me. Uh, but you don't get I mean you get the odd card listing, not not many, but uh most of the eBay cards I bought have been from America, so obviously you've got the as we've discussed before, I'm very impatient. So you get a lot of people that might get like a local kind of storage address and they ship it in one, but I just pay the postage, so you're looking at I don't know anything from 17 to 30 dollars per card. Um so I've come back here. Um I'm like a dog with two dicks. Um there's there is a lot of stuff here, um, and the postage is like two or three pounds. I've had a few that are free postage, but I have absolutely run riot.
SPEAKER_00:Really?
SPEAKER_03:Um yeah. Well probably should have downplayed that a little bit in case Emma's listening, but uh in moderation, uh in moderation I've destroyed the local market.
SPEAKER_01:And I assume what you're what you've been going for is um Seahawk stuff, is it? What what sort of stuff you've been picking up?
SPEAKER_03:I mean, are we are we going with an early mail day?
SPEAKER_01:Is that no no hold it if you um I'm I've I didn't know if you'd um received many yet.
SPEAKER_03:Um oh I've received many, yeah. I've uh it's just free flowing. I'll tell you what, I won't I won't ruin the mail day, but I'll give you a little preview of an absolute banger here. So we all know I say it on every pod, I think it's a bit boring, but I absolutely love Origins.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I've picked myself up a quite a nice Jalen Milrow RPA.
SPEAKER_01:Wow, Origins RPA. Yeah. So that's like the that's like the that's like a full out, isn't it?
SPEAKER_02:I've lost my face. Look, it's going bad.
SPEAKER_01:Look the best thing I've been describing is this camera zooming in and out un unprompted.
SPEAKER_03:Uh yeah, it's like it's it's like adding a bit of drama, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01:Like yeah, so here it cover the face and it it it goes look. It goes searching for it, doesn't it? Yeah. So for people that don't know, an RPA is something I learned about you know not too long ago, but it's a rookie with a patch with an auto. That's correct. So it's yeah, it is the hat trick, I guess.
SPEAKER_03:But technically, if we're getting very technical, it's not a true RPA, is it? Because it's got like the it's not really a patch, it's like a a relic, isn't it? It's like a just a s like a napkin type thing. Right, okay. Yeah, on a technicality, it's not probably not an RPA, but it's still a thing of beauty. It's a mil where's the camera gone? There we go. Uh it's uh yeah, I'm chuffed with it to be fair, and the prices are reasonable. And what I've worked out, um, because it's something we're gonna talk about in a bit, is a little bit of a review of where we are, you know, like a year into things, which is roughly where I am. And you look and we learn all the time, and I've worked out already that coming up to the festive period is not a bad time to buy cards.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Because I suspect people are trying to raise a little bit of money. Uh, it sounds bad, but you've got to swoop in and you take advantage. Look off the number one. Desperation, we swoop in, we get some good deals. Um the that that uh Jalen Milrow card, I think, was uh£21. Nice. So it wasn't too bad. Um pretty decent. And then I've picked up, as we'll we'll talk about later, I've picked up some other nice stuff for for good good prices. So yeah, good.
SPEAKER_01:Nice loving it. With with the RPAs, I guess the the true elite version of the RPA would be original rookie card, um, like match-worn relic and an on-card auto. Would that be the Holy Grail? Holy Trinity?
SPEAKER_03:Oh, yeah, if it was match worn, yeah, but I think when you I don't I can't remember if Nick explained this to me privately or on the pod from KCC, but there's one thing I haven't fully grasped because what what I asked Nick was that you see a lot of listings and stuff like that where people say about it's the true RPA from a set. And I think that you get like say, for example, you've got like this one, which is that I'll just show you. Is it numbered? No, see for for example, it's not numbered, but you might get, I think in some set, I mean there's people gonna be spewing if I'm talking shy, but by all means come on and correct me. But I think you they the on the like the checklist they'll designate what the true RPA is. Okay. Um but that's in reference to that term true RPA, but the difference between like that, you know, a memory relic and an actual patch, for it to be a patch, usually you're looking for, you know, a different layer, another layer, a different colour, bit of stitching or something like that for it to then become a patch. So if that had a bit of stitching in or another uh, I haven't got one to hand, but you know, a three-color patch, two-color patch, then all of a sudden that becomes like a proper RPA.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03:Um but people I think generally would refer to this as an RPA. Um but if someone can jump on and tell us what we should be referring it, referring it to, referring to it as, that would be quite helpful. Um but yeah, um yeah, honestly, I've been on eBay constantly. Um just picking up some nice stuff and yeah, love it. Got some I've got a card coming today, and then I've got a I ordered something I wanted to talk about you and I put it on our list. The frustration, you know, when you're making an offer. And I think Dom touched on it, didn't he, a few weeks ago when he he actually went back with a counter offer that was lower and he thinks the guy accidentally accepted it. What I'm getting frustrated at is you you put in a reasonable offer, and then someone comes back and you want to meet in the middle, and then they'll come back with like an offer that's like 10p higher, as if you're taking the piss. And I'm like, well, I don't really understand. Um so I found that frustrating. Um, but then like last night I got an elite uh JSM rookie card that was numbered to 11, like a nice shirt number match, which is quite good, got a reasonable price on that. Um, that was an offer, and that was accepted second time, I think. And that was quite straightforward, you know. You offer what I thought was a fair, I didn't want to lowball them because I was serious about buying the card. I think sometimes you go in quite low if you're a bit not sure. Uh but yeah, I was he came back with an offer, I then offered in the middle, accepted. That's yeah, exactly. That's kind of how you generally expect it to go, I think. Um but yeah, it's been fun.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I think with eBay for me at the moment, um I did pick up I've I've ordered about four or five Gerard cards like from from different you know, different brands. Um I've got my I I've found a topp's Rangers card for Gerard when he was manager. Um yeah, nice. So that'd be a great addition as well. Um, but I've ordered another handful that should be coming this week. Um just some sort of base cards, but some that I've not got or seen. And then the next step is that there's loads of LA Galaxy cards out there um from his time over there. And he wasn't there for that long, only a couple of years, I think. Um but obviously then the conundrum that I've got is what you've got in New Zealand, I guess, because they're all gonna be they're all based in the US. So we're gonna have to pay 15 quid uh or you know, even more for postage. But um I guess it's dependent on how your your collections go, which we will get on to later on in the pod, the review of the and our collections and whatnot. But um let's let's let's take a little rewind, BC, to um to what can only be described as the mile high club for yourself, not in a not in a sexual way, um, but in a in a I should be so lucky. Yeah, you um tell us what you did. You had something on the plane and you uh yeah, let the listeners know what what occurred, 30,000 feet or whatever it was.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I spoke about it, didn't I, for quite a while. Like I was I don't I don't know why, I was adamant on doing ripping a box on the plane.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Um admittedly though, like I had when I thought about it, I was like, gonna set up the camera and stuff like that, but then you become quite aware of people around you and stuff like that. I don't want to cause alarm and distress, you know, on the plane. Um and and admittedly, it's funny because on the first flight, uh, I've got to tell you a story, you're right. I think I told you this the other week, but um we flew from Wellington to Sydney on Qantas. That was like a three and a half hour flight, and uh but it we took off, I think we took off an hour before the Seahawks um game kicked off against Titans, and I was fuming because I've watched every game, so I was a bit uh a bit restless. Um but when we got airborne, they said that uh there was free Wi-Fi on the on the plane, um, and I connected to it, and I I didn't I've been on the plane Wi-Fi before and it's never usually that good, but I thought I'll open up the zone app and just see, just see if it if it works. And it's uh I've watched a whole game on the plane. I've watched a whole game. Uh unbelievable that was. Uh there's something about that, isn't it, that makes it magical. I'm on a plane, 35,000 feet, watching the Seahawks live. Um I couldn't have been happier. Uh but what that meant is on that first flight, I couldn't um I couldn't do the rip. And then we a little bit of a rookie error, we had an eight-hour wait for the the the next flight. This was really tired, and by the time we got on those other flights, the last thing I wanted to do was rip the box. Um, and we got, I think it was maybe two hours from Heathrow. So about two hours to go, and I thought I've got to do it. So I've got it, I've bought myself a mosaic blaster, uh, which you know about. You've got your you've had your first mosaic blaster, which has been on TikTok, which is uh quite an enjoyable watch, actually. Yeah, I was quite intrigued to see like what you'd pull for your first box. Um, but instead of filming it, I just took some pictures. Um, but it's really cool because uh Lily, obviously my little girl, she um we both had a pack each, and then we like opened the packs and stuff like that. So yeah, it was quite cool. I stuck some pictures on Instagram, um, but yeah, officially in the card opening mile high club, if you will.
SPEAKER_01:That's what we're calling it, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. That should be a uh a feature, shouldn't it? Every time you or I are on a uh on one of them speed birds, we'll have to open a uh a pack of cards. Yeah, and the old speed birds.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, do you know what I've seen? I've seen a someone um I can't remember the name of the account, but um goes like all round. I think he follows some team, he goes to like every goes to all the away grounds, um, and he rips a pack of tops in every ground. Like when he's nice and sat down in the terrace or whatever.
SPEAKER_03:Uh some funny videos, isn't there, of people doing them in like weird places.
SPEAKER_01:Maybe maybe we'll move. Yeah, maybe we'll maybe we'll start out of that. Ripping packs like in really weird places. Might get some really good some good views.
SPEAKER_03:Um speaking of that, we'll be um it's not weird places, that's a bad segue. Well, speaking of weird places, it's the exact place you want to be. I was gonna say Friday. Cannot wait.
SPEAKER_01:Well, the the week, so yeah, BC had a long old journey over to the UK. Um caught up with him Saturday night over a few uh few wet ones. And uh few jars, a few games of crawl. Um and now we're we're planning our um our day on Friday where we are going to the Fanatic store Regent Street. Um exclusive, exclusive to the pod now. We will repeat, will be recording a podcast within the store. Now there is um a couple of options we've got, Ku. Um there is like a uh I guess like a dugout seat in um with a big screen and you can play FIFA on there, so um potentially NFL as well. So if you want to get you wanna get your your ass handed to you, boy, on uh on an Xbox or PS5, whatever it is, then uh we'll have a Madden or whatever it is. Yeah, I think there was I think there was FIFA playing when I was there last time. Didn't ask the wife for a match, um, because it would have been a long drawn-out affair, uh I feel. Um what we could do is we could sit down there and we uh toward the end of our visit, sit down and um record uh record an episode about our time there fresh, fresh from the experience. Um and I'm yeah, very much excited to get in there with you because obviously last time I was um a bit like the card the card show. I was on my own, really. The wife was sat on her own, like sat took herself away and sat down. But this will be um yeah, this would be two worlds colliding BC and MC, Coombe and Curry Sports Card, taking on the flagship store on Regent Street. In the flesh. Um so yeah, it's gonna be um some really good fun, good content, and um wow.
SPEAKER_03:And we're gonna we're gonna hit up um what was the name of the other card shop?
SPEAKER_01:Paboom, which is a store in North London, uh, is Linton area, um, which I I think is one of the only card or independent card stores in London. Um so yeah, we're gonna try and we're gonna go visit there. Um and they've just had an upgrade as well. I saw in their socials, they've just extended like um they've got some like racking in the store, so the store's coming on leaps and bounds. So looking forward to um popping in there. I'll have to drop them a message letting them know we're coming. Um they can lay out the red carpet.
SPEAKER_03:Uh well that's what I'm expecting. Now we've announced that we're uh in Regent Street on Friday. I'm expecting hordes of fans to uh just be lining up outside. People all right, get back, get back, including Courier here.
SPEAKER_01:Um that's what we'll do, yeah. We'll have to we'll have to tag them in uh in a post maybe. Um when we put tag them in it so they know we're coming.
SPEAKER_03:Um yeah, we're we'll we um we'll be ripping a box while we're up in uh fanatics, be rude not to, wouldn't it?
SPEAKER_01:100%. So they've got these break areas if you don't know where you can actually you know set up set up camera stand um parallel parallel to each other, I guess. Or uh yeah. Um and then we can we can rip it live. Live if you want, go live for the first time, shall we?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I think we could do that, couldn't we?
SPEAKER_01:Why not bring it and then I think there's like a charging port as well. So if you're low on battery, just uh you can uh whack your phone and charge that plug it in.
SPEAKER_03:I've had I've had um I've had a bit of a result actually because uh as we encourage other people like we had with with Lemmy coming on who collects his uh like Star Wars, or used to collect his Star Wars cards, I think he's actively collecting. Um, you know, anyone who collects various things. I used to collect like coins and silver, like you did, a little dabble here and there. Did yeah um I I've got a load of like silver one ounce coins. Um and when I was buying them, like I mean three years ago, four years ago, the price of silver here was like in the region of like£24 or something per ounce. I had a look the other day, it's like£43 an ounce. Oh wow. Um so after this podcast, I'm gonna go to the local coin shop. I've got a box of like coins and stuff like that, and I'm gonna see what I can uh rustle up for card money um on Friday. So yeah, wish me luck. I'm gonna um chance my own, I'm gonna take a box in there and see what they're interested in and see what I can raise. Uh all proceeds will go to ripping boxes. Yeah, charity at home uh in London.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Uh charity starts with uh card collecting.
SPEAKER_01:And and what a time to do it. Christmas time, you know. Um take advantage. No better way. Um moving swiftly on.
SPEAKER_03:Um let's go to can can I actually interrupt you there, MC? I um this is not on the agenda, but I I just I just want to go back to I want to talk about Dom, Dom Lot. How's your luck, Dom Lot?
SPEAKER_01:How's your luck?
SPEAKER_03:Um Yeah. Moments before the pod recording, coincidentally, I get a message from Dom saying, Where's the pod? Um very, very valid comment to be fair. Um and and we probably should at this juncture just apologize for the delay to the fans because obviously I've been coming over here, it's been it's been tricky to try and get that time slot. But you know, we're back on track now. Episode 23, podcast benders. Um, so firstly, Dom, you're right to question where the pod is. Um in a way, I appreciate the message. However, in his message, he said, Ah, he's not really doing much at the minute, and I said, Oh, why not? He went, Oh, there's lots of shit cards about oh, I'm waiting for Chrome. Uh so what cracks me up is that I feel a little bit vindicated in my original comments going back three, four pods ago, when I said Dom lacks direction. I've got a lot of time for him. I love the fact he's in the hobby, uh, he's a brilliant guest, friend of the pod. Um, Dom took offence to it, Dom questioned my direction, turned the tables, a little bit of validity in some of his comments. I'll give him that. Fair play. Um, and we discussed about am I it's like the opposite of living vicariously through someone else. Maybe I was directing my lack of direction at Dom. But this revelation today does that show that Dom does lack direction? Because for me, you've got years and years and years of cards out there. You've got years of cards out there just because tops Premier League 2026 may have stopped delivering for you, go out there and find some absolute worldies, go and find some bangers. So, what I will say, Dom, and I invite you on. Look at me, I'm gonna try and zoom this camera in. Look at me. Come on next week and respond. Let's have a conversation. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_01:See you next week. Uh yeah, first of all, yeah, apologies for the delay in uh episode 23. Um, secondly, what a message. What a message. That's a message out there for for Dom Light. How's he like? I'll tell you what it calls for. I've called him out. Oh, yeah, I'll tell you what it calls for. Not only have you got a WWE title bell in the background, this calls for a live a live episode. Surely, surely it's gotta be uh uh live debate. A live debate, filler's elbow like a Tuesday night. How do you feel about that? We'll uh we'll re we'll we'll we'll have to let you know, and then we'll mock up a picture of your head and Dom's head like uh battling.
SPEAKER_03:Then we'll see who lacks direction. Then we'll see who lacks direction, yeah. Um violence, no violence, we're not we're not just a good healthy debate.
SPEAKER_01:A big healthy debate about direction of cards and collecting um and lack of what a lineup. Main event, here we go.
SPEAKER_03:Anyway, sorry, I've uh I've digressed from the agenda. Let's get back on track.
SPEAKER_01:Let's get back on track. Let's um let's talk to not only friend of the pod, uh I don't think he's been mentioned to he has been mentioned before, but um family to the pod, I guess, King. Um you uh you sat down with um a certain Jake um the other day, is that correct?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, so I posted this on Instagram and um yeah, Jake said Jake, since I mean maybe I'm calling out Jake here, maybe Jake needs to come on the pod as well and explain. But I'm gonna say, in the absence of him being on the pod, that he was probably inspired by the podcast, inspired by us getting his sports cards and has started dabbling with it himself, more in a flipping capacity. Like he likes to he's got his PC, it's not I don't think it's huge, I think it's a few he's a Jets fan since we went over in 2019. Um I let him tell the story when he comes on in more detail, but he uh really, really enjoyed the game and he when Jets got one of the touchdowns, uh there's a couple of blokes that grabbed him and celebrated with him and stuff like that, and I think he was hooked on Jets, so he's got a little not in an inappropriate way, I should say. Uh let's be clear on that. Um but he yeah, so he's a Jets fan, watches the Jets, got a little PC going, um, but he likes to like buy and sell and stuff like that. Um, however, I didn't know kind of to what extent really. So he had mentioned like had a few things for me, a few cards, and I will just show you one of these now. I was aware of this card, so it's actually a JSN rookie auto. Oh, beautiful, what was the same card?
SPEAKER_01:Golden or Golden Debut.
SPEAKER_03:Golden Debut, yeah, it's number 70 out of 99. Uh, it is a sticker auto, but yes, nice card. Um, and I'd been saving, as as I have for you, quite a lot of Jets cards for him. And sadly, from your point of view, part of the trade was that uh Aaron Rodgers match one uh patch.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so uh it's a tough one to take. I won't like him, it's a tough one to take, but he is in his jet fit, so I can actually I'm I'm happy to miss out on that one.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, you've got to do what you've got to do. But uh, yeah, so I got like he I think I gave Jake Jake a few cards uh and he gave me some cards. I had a like another uh Arroyo Origins auto. He's actually got an on-card auto for me on the way. There was a nice mosaic JSN uh Charbonnet auto, I think, and a few other cards. So some really nice stuff in there. I think there was a Kenneth Walker Optic card that had the Seahawks logo in the background, which is really nice. I think that was numbered to 33. Um, but interestingly, I went round um their house, and he's got like at the end of the garden, he's got like this gym that he's built and stuff like that. And I've gone in there and he's only gone and got a nice little fake, you know, like artificial grass, and he's made like a little almost like a studio little box thing, and he's got like a light and everything like that, and there's all these cards everywhere. And I was like, it's like stumbling to someone's you know, little dirty secret, you know, he's got this little corner and he's wheeling and dealing. I was like, I didn't know how deep he was into it. Um so I took a picture and posted it on the Instagram. So if anyone wants to see that, that's on Insta. Um, but yeah, that took me by surprise. But yeah, again, you know, maybe like DOM and stuff like that. When you hear other people that are involved in it and stuff like that, and you see what it is, it's actually really interesting, it's quite fun. Um, and on that note, I've been showing as I've had these deliveries turning up, I've been showing them to my dad who's still got zero interest. Uh thinks it's hilarious. Um so safe to say he will not be coming on the podcast.
SPEAKER_01:That's a shame. That's a shame. Dave's a great card. Yeah, that's a shame.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Not a fan of the sports card. Um, but yeah, the but with yeah, so Jake, uh, he's still got he buys little bundles, what it goes on whatnot, and stuff like that. And um constantly got stuff on the way. So um, like I said, I think there's I think he mentioned there's an Arroyo on card Origins auto, so I'm looking forward to uh to getting my hands on that.
SPEAKER_01:Beautiful. Um shall we are that good segue into now days? I think so. I think I think it makes sense, makes sense. Um alright, I'll I'll go. I'll go with um now. This was a uh this was a gift from a work colleague who um went away from some winter sun, he went to uh Land Rotti Costa Tegise to do that. Um and him knowing that he now is now a follower of the pod, he's followed the pages. Um but he he saw he he saw that I picked up some snide cards from Bulgaria and he's taken that as let's get him some more. Yeah. So we've got haven't posted these yet, but they're called Star Card Collectors Edition. Alright. Now these the I'm just gonna read you up in the back here. Star cards are also collectibles, so they're still star cards of all ages on the market. There you go, make that what make of that um now these cards are of the same ilk as the uh as the other snarges in Bulgaria. As you can see there, there's a nice one Leicester logo. Leicester logo Chelsea I also got I think I've got um I've got two Ronaldos and one pack. Um very strange, but very, very enjoyable to uh to open. And my favourite, one of my favourite cards out of this actually has two. So they're all like, you know, they're all players. Um where is it? I think I sent you a picture of it, but um it's not there. Must be inside, must be in the box. It is um a Christian Pulisic card, um which can be only described as his name was spelled Christian Nate Pulisic. So don't know if they're having the right little line.
SPEAKER_00:Where's that even come from?
SPEAKER_01:I don't know, yeah, no, no idea, no idea, but um one of my idols here in uh Roberto Baggio. Oh nice. Roberto Baggio and a Brescia kit, which is the last team you paid for, and a FIFA World Cup 26 pack. So I'll let you be the judge of that. Um yeah, very strange, very weird. Um but yeah, other than that, now they I've got um got a little little pack here from um from a break that I jumped on with Dum Lot. Um that's been a little while ago. How's your luck? We've got how's your luck, Dumlot. So I I jumped in and got teams and I got um unfortunately got Ipswich and Bournemouth out of all the teams, but they cost I think one was a pound, one was two pound. The best pulls I got was like a Lewis Cook Prism Parallel.
SPEAKER_00:Oh yeah, select yeah, nice.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it's nice and an Amari Hutchison future. Um yeah, not bad, good cards, but um good fun to get. I haven't been on a break for a while. Um Sameny there as well, but um, yeah, not the greatest teams to get. Um other than that, I've obviously got the mosaic box, which we'll go on to a review later on. So I'll go through that. But um that's what I've had recently. It's been um not been uh not been too much. Well, what about yourself, BT? What have you I mean, I'm sure you've got a lot more than me at the moment, uh nowadays than what I've got.
SPEAKER_03:Well, yeah, that the that's the other good thing about eBay here is that the the parcels come like next day almost or day after at most. Uh so yeah, obviously the um the Jalen Milrow RPA. My camera's moving from side to side. Look at that. Um so yeah, that's uh yeah, absolutely love that card. Straight in the PC. I've got a nice Miles Garrett card. And a couple that'll interest you here, Mark. I've got a a really nice Allison Becker. Oh, yeah, what's that? Donras. That's yeah, Donras, yeah. But it's like um I would I don't know what they call this, but it's shiny as a side would say. It's a shiny. Um I got a Tua Tagovaioloa rookie card.
SPEAKER_01:Very nice.
SPEAKER_03:Um, this was cheap. I've actually got a couple of these, but it's the Mosaic NFL debut rookie card for JSN. Um another one that you'll have a lot of time for. A nice pink Mo Salah.
SPEAKER_00:Beautiful.
SPEAKER_03:Um this year's Phoenix, the Thunderbird insert, JSN. Um, and the absolute highlight for me was um Optic, Don Russ Optic, Zach Charbonnet, colour match on card auto. Wow.
SPEAKER_01:That's got the demo the lot, hasn't it?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, really pleased with that. And it I think I I don't think I paid a lot, I think it's about£11. Wow. Um so yeah, really chuff of it. Just a really, really nice card. Um, I'll probably get that slabbed. Um that's perty one out of 99. So um, yeah, there's stuff I I literally got in the mail, and then I got, as I said, the stuff I mentioned earlier, which I got from Jake, did a bit of trading, which was quite nice. Um, and as I've said a few times, I've got a lot of stuff for you, so we're meeting tomorrow. Um, so you're you'll have an absolute field day on mail day next week. I'd say it's gonna be a long episode, exactly. Um yeah, so good. Long may the UK Mail Day continue.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you're gonna clean them up.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Um MC. Uh something we started recently, which I think people wanted, people asked for, is a little bit of an update on football, both types, both shaped balls.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Um Liverpool, good win.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, much needed. Um yeah, watched it. Um it was pretty decent performance. Um super happy that Isaac's got off the mark because good finish. Really good finish, very instinctive. Um, but he he really needed it. And I know like I know the team's low in confidence and he hasn't, you know, he hasn't scored in the league yet. So that was a really big I think you could feel it when they were celebrating that it was huge, not just for for him, but really for him.
SPEAKER_03:A little emotion.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that was that was great, and then obviously Gakpo at the end there, but um, yeah, I thought we just needed we needed to get a win under our belt, um, and it was a good away away win. Um thought thought Boeing had a good chance, might have you know, thought he was gonna score that, but we'll take the 2-0 away, clean sheet, um and move on to a really difficult match tomorrow night, actually. With uh Sunderland, isn't it? Yeah, highly informed Sunderland who seem to be just you know steam trained through the league. They're sitting up and watched third or fourth.
SPEAKER_03:Um not something you say often that is it? An informed Sunderland hard game. It's uh but it is, it's it's you know, look with recent recent results, it's not uh a banker by any stretch in imagination. That's gonna be a tough, tough game, I think.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, tough game. Um at Anfield Ocea, hoping for um for a good response from that win going into this one. Um I think it'll be a tight match. I think we'll edge it. Um and if we do, I think that'd be a good um a good marker for to move on from because obviously we've been been through the mud a bit with all these losses and and the confidence is low, but um could feel that there was more work rate in the West End game. I thought you know Curtis Jones came out and and questioned some players or some of his teammates with with work rate and ethic, and um I think we saw that um we were uh Salah got dropped for the what was it, the first game, and he's he's started 54 consecutive games for the game.
SPEAKER_03:He didn't even come on, did he either? Which is uh hopefully a little a little sort of push in the right direction, you know. It's um that's the reality, isn't it? If you don't if you're not producing the goods, then uh that's it. So hopefully that what's saying puts the rocket up his ass.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I thought we um I thought we looked the way we set up, I thought it was um it was exciting and we look quite dangerous. Whereas time at times I felt if Salah's not playing well, then there's sort of that side of the pitch is redundant. We're not getting anything from that. So then there's more pressure on like Gakpo, and he tries to do more, and then that's uh sometimes counteracts that, and then you're just left with you know, if Isaac or Rekatike aren't playing well, then that whole attack or the final third bit redundant.
SPEAKER_03:So it's it's interesting though, isn't it? Because I think Vitz had a really I think that's probably one of his best games, I think, against West Ham. And you know, does that beg the question um how you know how they play together? Are we gonna see the best of Vitz without Salah? Is that the end of Salah? Do we see look? Don't don't I don't want to put say the wrong thing because he's obviously a legend, but ever no one can go on forever and the show must go on. And I think without disrespecting the guy, because he's as I said, he's a legend and he's done what he's done, he's broke countless records, but you know, you've got to move on. You've paid a lot of money for Virtz, and if we're gonna see the bet the better side of him without Salah, then maybe that is the way forward.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I mean I think Vitz was was um I think I he just there was a couple of stats during the game, uh, and he had clear clearly been given a free roll because his heat his heat his heat spots were like all over the the second half of the pitch, and he works back and he works hard for the team. Um, and then there was a stat about him and Isak, and it was before this game they'd had I think it was three completed passes to each other.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:First half it was like four. Don't know where that stat came from, it's a bit random. It's a bit of a and if sky spots do that sometimes when someone's under pressure, they'll like pick out a stat on them, won't they?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, um he thinks a bit more narrow than Salah as well.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah, right in the middle of the sort of middle of the pitch. He doesn't felt too too far wide, which is quite quite good to get into them pockets. Um, but he's just so good on the ball. I think that I said this before to a friend, um, that he will get the assists and the goals, they will come. You can see the quality, it's just that um that consistency, which he has. I feel yeah, the last game he was class, he had a really good game. He got dropped a game before, I think. And the game before that he played really well. So yeah, I think he's a top top player, and he will become um his GA contribution will definitely come. Um but yeah, he just needs to be given that free roll in the middle. I think if he's sticking up wide, he's a bit isolated. Um, he doesn't really have bags of pace, like a gap po. Um, so I would say, yeah, having him in that sort of free roll in the middle of that, because it looked like we set up like 4-2-3-1. Um, sort of a little bit differently shaped to what we usually do, usually have the four-three-three. Um, so yeah, it was it was good to see that we were quite compact in the middle. I think we played better because a bit of it overrun in central midfield, like McAllister. I've been a bit off the off the pace. Um, and it's like this whole right back situation. I thought Joe Gomez was um a breath of fresh air. But he Yeah, he did really well, didn't he, Gomez? It's good to see. Because he's a n he's a like a natural defender, isn't he? And he's played right back for a lot, a long time, right back or centre back, isn't it? He's played left back as well. But I think to keep pulling Curtis Jones and Soberslay out to that right back, I feel they're just wasted back there. And they're definitely not natural right backs. Sobersly had that amazing game at right back, but like that's not where we want him to play. That's not where we want him to play.
SPEAKER_03:He's been probably our best player, isn't he, Sabozlo?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, we want him to sit in the middle and and that you know, pull the strings and get the team up the pitch. Whereas having him at right back just I don't know, just pains me to see that. I know we've got issues with Frimpong and Bradley out injured, but if Gomez can stay a bit injury free, give him that, give him that time to play in it, get him confident again. But he looked good, so yeah, long may that continue. But um, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Hopefully uh build on that uh home to Sunderland uh tomorrow, I think that is. Yeah, tomorrow night, yeah. Late, I think. Yeah, um I'll be going to the MX tomorrow actually. First time in two and a half years. What game are you seeing? Brighton V. Villa, I think it is. Brighton Villa. Should be a good game. Yeah, it should be good. Um Seahawks. Um yeah, I I uh I went to Friend of the Pod, Mr. Simon Lemker. I went to uh catch up with him for the the six uh the six pm game. So we watched I think he'd e-marked a game because there's a few on. He's obviously a Giants fan, Giants played last night. So we I can't remember what he wanted to watch, but I suggested Panthers, Rams. I think I want Rams to lose, and what a game that was. Um so good. At one stage it was just touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, and I think the way Rams are playing, they're so good is they Panthers always had to respond. Uh I think that you if they go like you know 14 points down or beyond two scores, I think the game goes. Yeah, but Panthers just matched them and then um stole it at the end. Uh huge win, huge win for Panthers, obviously, and huge win for Seahawks fans um chasing that um home ground advantage in the playoffs.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Um so that was a good start, and then I came back and and got the Seahawks Vikings game up. Um Seahawks have been quite enjoyable this year, but we shut we as the as the Yanks say uh it was 26 zip. Um Vikings shut them out. Don't see it often. Um, but it was a bore it was really boring. I didn't enjoy it. There wasn't a lot of uh I think the jigba got I don't know 23 receiving yards. Um touchdown came from uh an interception, which was comical. Um and a Charbonnet, Charbonnet ran one in towards the end. That was kind of like the icing on the cake because the only touchdown had come from a defensive turnover. So it was nice for the for the uh attack, the offensive team to get that touchdown, so that was good. But yeah, I think I think it was like a professional victory for me. It was like not particularly entertaining, unless you, you know, I I I respect the defence and the defensive side of the game, and I love it, but that we want to see we want to see big throws, big catches, and stuff like that. Um but this was like a professional performance, you know, they did what they needed to do 26-0. Um yeah, chuffed to bits. Um Falcons next this week, and then the big game home to the Rams. Um so yeah, it's all ramping up quite nicely. I lost in the fantasy, which is a shitter. Um, need a win now to secure playoffs. Uh, so they've got a big week coming up in the fantasy. Um I saw uh Green Bay one. They beat the Lions, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Back-to-back wins after back-to-back losses. Um seem to be tucking on diesel at the moment. Um doing really well. Jordan loves them. Just got so many like good performers in the team. Um, like the wide receivers uh have seemed to be Watson's come back and been amazing.
SPEAKER_03:I've got him in my fantasy.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, he's he's been class. Um yeah, so yeah, another win, big win as well. Um so yeah, uh, I haven't watched the highlights yet, actually. That's on my things, my list of things to do.
SPEAKER_03:So um you enjoying being back in, you know, watching the the Packers and oh yeah, love it. And that's lovely because it's sort of your return, isn't it? You had it you you kind of drifted away a little bit.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, slowly coming back in. I've only watched like one full match, the rest of them's like highlight catch-ups, but we're enjoying following it and then getting back into it, and obviously that has led me. I guess this could be a segue into my first mosaic box.
SPEAKER_03:Talk us through it. I was buzzing when you told me you'd you'd bought that. I was absolutely chuffed to bits, and I've watched your both videos on TikTok just because I wanted to see you get some nice cards. Uh in you know, look when you opened it.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I'm actually looking at them now. Um, so yeah, I've got Mosaic Blasterbox NFL um first ever NFL box for myself. Um I thoroughly enjoyed opening it, and the cards, like you said, the mosaic cards, either the base are just they're just really nice to hold. I'd have a nice little uh base for dubs. Yeah, uh green bay. Um the base cards just feel amazing.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, good quality stuff, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01:Really nice cards. And I pulled some good some good like prisms, um, some good parallels. So I've got obviously your uh your Milro there. That'll be coming your way.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, beautiful silver.
SPEAKER_01:Got a Travis Hunter like orange.
SPEAKER_03:That's about yeah, nice that really yeah, I think they're exclusive to the blasters, aren't they? The oranges. That that's that is a really, really nice card. Um get that one in the top loader.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Nice little Jaguars rookie. Yeah. And then I've got uh Larry Fitzgerald from the Cardinals, epic performer, nice little green. Yeah. They're just really nice cards. Caleb Williams and the Bears. Very nice. Uh, an album camera, Saints. Yep. The Portsome, yeah, Pulsum Nice cards, rookie pears, all 49ers in a sort of colour. I guess that's like a colour match, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, yeah, I suppose so, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:And then a Will Howard, Steelers rookie card. Um nice. Uh yeah, Prism. Just that just super cool. I'll be definitely definitely jumping back in with getting some more mosaics. I guess that's sort of quite similar. I mean, they're both penny, aren't they? The select cards are quite similar, aren't they, in terms of like the quality and the oh 100%, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I I I think with the um the mosaic stuff, especially the blasters, I think it's good value. I think you get you go of a strange uh the optic stuff, um the blasters are quite repetitive. So you get like purple shock, and then it's kind of like bass, bass, bass, purple shock, black space, bass, purple shock, whatever. But with the mosaic, there's such a variety of decent inserts that they are fun rip, and you get some quality cards. Um and yeah, I I I really, I really enjoy them. I think it's a shame, isn't it? Because obviously it's gonna be tops now. See, we don't know what we're gonna get. There's a little bit unknown, we don't know what products will remain, which Pini will uh Pini Panini will release unlicensed, but so it's a little bit uncertain. Um, but yeah, like such a fun rip, affordable, good value, and nice cards. Um 100% yeah, and I and I think that uh I are you know who's I was saying uh soft I'm just I've gone a bit distracted because I can hear my little girl absolutely screaming my name professional, yeah. Um just telepathically telling her, shut the f up. Yeah, that's a tick that box, cut out background noise. Um, yeah, I think when we were talking about like what we wanted to talk about today on the pod, I think one thing that I thought would be interesting, not look let's not dwell on it and make it a huge segment, but I was thinking like one year in, like a kind of like a self-review of where we are and stuff like that. And you know, like I listen to a lot of podcasts and stuff like that, and there's a lot of noise, and there's a lot of people that have been in the hobby, as I say, industry then, but the hobby for a long time, and you've obviously got your real high-end stuff now. And I was listening to podcasts this morning, and they were saying about you know, some of these cards are being kind of included in people's assets and stuff like that. There's a lot of money in there and things, and then there's a lot of people we do our feature, don't we? All about the base and stuff like that. And it's interesting what what people do, you know. Even talking about Jake, you know, Jake's probably more skewed to the flipping side, you know, trying to make a bit of money and things like that. Um, whereas, say me, for example, I've come into it, I'm purely it it'd be wrong to say that I wouldn't sell if I lived here, I would definitely be selling as well. But but ultimately that would be to fund buying more Seahawks cards rather than seeing it as a side hustle, that type of thing.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03:Um, but but my I was thinking about it got me thinking, and I was like reviewing what I would change. And I said before, like for me, I just wanted to establish a good collection and stuff like that. I think I would change the frequency in which I bought cards from America, for example. And I think when you don't set yourself too much of a limit other than what you can actually afford, when you you get these cards, I can imagine, let's say you had an unlimited amount of money. For me, that would take the fun out of it because you could just buy what you want, so you kind of lose the chase. So I feel like once you've got kind of a base collection, then you then like for me, I'm trying really hard to slow down because it is more fun, isn't it? You know, like when you then get like I got the JSN card of Jake, I found a nice mosaic which was in his college uniform, which wasn't particularly, let's say, a valuable card, but I really, really liked it, and I hadn't, you know, I hadn't necessarily had the frequency which I'd had in a while, so it kind of felt different. And I think there's a danger if you rush it that it might feel different. So I think reviewing my year, I just think collect what you want and linking that to the mosaic boxes, you get stuff in there that other people might think, you know. We post stuff on Insta and TikTok, which you're gonna get a lot of people that look at and go, Yeah, that's a well nice card, and then you're gonna get a lot of other people that think there's not really any value in it, yeah, but it's not all about that value, is it? And I think we both agree it's just about what you like to look at, and mosaic for me, the cards look so nice. I'm gonna I'm gonna have, and I do have a lot of mosaic cards that aren't particularly valuable in my collection because they're so nice, and that's why I collect, for example, I've got my WWE belts because they look nice. I like things that are cool, I like things that look nice, and for me, it's not about the value. Yeah, we want some nice low-numbered cards and stuff like that because you you want that rarity and you want them in your collection because they're cool and stuff like that. But I think my message to anyone starting now after a year would be do what you want, collect whatever you want, whatever makes you happy, whatever cards you want, just do it because that that's something that I wouldn't change. And the only thing that would change for me if I lived in America or I lived here would be yes, I would flip cards, I would sell cards, I'd even like to make it a business, but essentially it would all be to facilitate my collection, stuff like that. So, yeah, that's kind of my reflection on this sort of first coming up to this first year. Uh what are your thoughts?
SPEAKER_01:Um yeah, funny funny you know, that was a a really good insight into your sort of um your thoughts on on collecting and yeah, I guess my at times I've been a lot slower with the collecting, but it's sort of again again it's sort of subjective to and circumstantial, isn't it? Whether like what you collect and how often you buy cards and and da da da da da da. But going into my little my little case and picking out like a wedge of Gerard cards, and a look I've split them into England and Liverpool and LA Galaxy. And I love it. I I loved I just flipped through them, I thought this is uh this collection has grown and it's grown in the right direction. I'm happy where I'm at. Obviously, there are some elements of cards that I would love to get hold of or or add to the collection, but that that is all part of the fun, isn't it? Um, you know, if I had the whole collection that I wanted, it would yeah, I sort of lose a sort of buzz, I guess. Um, but now I've got my Gerard collection and I've slowly grown a Jordan Love collection for Green Bay, then it's yeah, sort of my my attentions on maybe growing my Jordan Love, but then going for some more rare cards to Gerald. But then I went through my like like like what Andy said from Seaside Sports, you have this watch list on eBay or wherever you're you're using, and um every now and again you go, oh god in. And I I think I bought four four or five Gerald cars last week just because I hadn't had any for a while. Um I say a while, it's probably been like you know what, two weeks since the car show or whatever. Um so yeah, um thoroughly enjoying it, really enjoying growing. I think I've definitely moved I say I've moved away, I've got something to show you, but I'm trying not to I love binders and I love I clearly do like enjoying collecting like the tops Premier League, the match attacks. But what do I get the best feel from is probably buying buying singles um and having them like top loaded in my little pencil box. So yeah, it's direction and it's learning, and it's um it's been almost a year, but um yeah, thoroughly enjoying the journey and obviously going to my first card show, then we're going to Fanatics Friday, that'd kind of be a real real big sort of milestones for us. And I've got this right next to me, which is the tops the tops advent calendar, 30 edition countdown calendar, which I didn't crack yesterday because we were decorating the house and putting the tree up, but I think I'll be cracking it here in the in the shed by the sounds of things or the looks of things.
SPEAKER_03:Um just keep just keep talking about the uh advent. I'm not gonna.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, not a problem. So, yeah, for the people listening at home, I have got the Premier League premium training cards, festive edition cabin Canada. Now, five exclusive cards behind every window. So, as you can see, or if you're not listening, or if you listen, there's 96 new festive parallel cards plus 24 new festive freeze cards, and the festive freeze cards look thus. So they are um they can cover up as a Christmas tree decoration, which I absolutely won't be doing. Um that'd be going into the binder, um, because our tree is absolutely round with um yeah, there's just no need. Um, but yeah, buzzing to crack that open. Little gatefold advent calendar. And who knows? If I pull something big in this, I'm gonna go mental. Like, imagine if I pull like a imagine if I pull a Gerard, a Gerald Auto. I'll smash a shadow. Yeah, I reckon I reckon I'll be smashing these lawnmowers up if it if it comes out. But um, yeah, that's exciting. So there'll be there'll be content coming daily. I'll have to post twice today with uh day one and day two of December. Um yeah, so super happy. Yeah, you know, we're it's good to reflect and um I'm happy with my collection so far, and I'm happy the way it's going. So long may it continue. And I think tom um on Friday, like that'll be a real for me and you to be together to be able to like rip a box, could be surrounded by cars together. Um I think will be a big milestone and be a really enjoyable experience.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, definitely, yeah. Looking forward to it. Um, yeah, it's gonna be a good week. Yes, sir. A few more bits to come in the mail already all building up for uh fanatics on Friday. Uh it's gonna be good.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, sir. Um shall we jump into all about the boo? Why not? Because I have got absolutely sure. Yeah, I'm ready.
SPEAKER_00:I've got one just follow them, you run around the room. Great stuff.
SPEAKER_01:Um so you've gone you've gone and grabbed your code. Uh go on, I'll let you take the uh give us what you got.
SPEAKER_03:Right. I've got a um put this. I'll tell you why first. I'm going with this because it's a Seahawk player, it's topical, it's a mosaic rookie base card. Um, and obviously I ripped a mosaic on the plane, you've done your first box. Um and I said I wasn't going to go into breaks to know while I was away. I did. I went into one. Oh, not again. Uh I think it was yesterday morning I watched it, yeah, with KCC. Um, and it was the no huddle mosaic hobby box, and I obviously had Seahawks, and I got a Nick Emmanuel uh pink number to 50. Uh I've got the green, I've got the base, I've got the silver, so I thought I would put that into all about that base this week for those reasons. Yeah, nice. Um beautiful card. So yeah, that's my entry.
SPEAKER_01:Beautiful. Well, I'm keeping the same theme. Obviously, my first ever NFL box was um was a great, enjoyable rip. Um, now I've gone for, yeah, obviously a mosaic, um, but I've gone for someone a bit different. Someone I don't think um we've had in the the binder yet in terms of the position they hold. So we've got um coach Bill Cower of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I thought a bit different, bit different. We've got uh a coach going in. It's always usually players, isn't it? So yeah, he's gonna go in. Um and I just like just like the coach. You know, he's all set up, he's got his got his Pittsburgh hoodie on and cap, and he's ready for the game and he's pointing at the floor. Yeah, that's going straight in. Straight in the binder. Yep, we won NFL Coach of the Year in 1992. There you go.
SPEAKER_00:Legend. We love to see it. Good. Cool. Well, I think just with one thing then.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, absolutely. Look, the next the next episode is gonna be a belter. Um cut yeah, we'll we'll we'll we'll record it on Friday and we'll try and get it out to you as soon as possible. But yeah, we uh we've got uh a big week ahead, so yeah, keep your eyes on the socials and uh one thing left to do, isn't it, King?
SPEAKER_03:Well we're making we're making up for making up for the delay for for this episode 23. Um getting a quick fire 24 out from Fnatic store, so there'll be lots of pictures, lots of social media stuff. I know there's uh Shane at um Top Play Sports Cards, he's quite curious about the shop. We talk about that quite a lot when I go in there. Um so I'm sure there'll be a lot of interest in that. So yeah, looking forward, really, really looking forward to it. So, like you said, on that note, regards to your family.
SPEAKER_00:Guards to the family.
