“Stories Behind the Walls” is a podcast dedicated to exposing the realities inside our justice and prison systems, giving voice to those too often silenced. Our mission is to fight for justice, accountability, and human rights by sharing the experiences of incarcerated people, their families, and advocates on the outside.
This week marks an important milestone in our work. We have spoken with top officials who are listening to our concerns and willing to engage in real dialogue. We’re making progress in building relationships that matter. We’ve also identified and partnered with trustworthy liaisons—people on the inside and outside who share our commitment to transparency and justice. Through these collaborations, we can now formally file and track complaints, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate authorities and cannot be ignored or buried.
Our purpose remains clear: to shine light on what happens behind the walls, to advocate for those who cannot safely speak out, and to demand accountability and change from the systems meant to serve all of us.
