You're gonna have to take him to your house because I'm not finna hear that every day at home, honey. No. So oh Lord, I hate it. And girl, what? My girl, what? It's so rude.

SPEAKER_03What? Yes, sure.
SPEAKER_01Y'all. Y'all go get y'all snacks and pibles, okay? For real. Get your drinks. Non-alcoholic, whatever you choose, that's between you and the Lord. Ain't got nothing to do with us. But today we're talking about what? Staying connected to the Lord. I have to call. And the importance of staying connected with the Lord. This might be good. I feel like the Lord has. Wait, first. Let's pray.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Father God, we thank you for this day. God, we thank you that you are sustaining us throughout this day. God, we thank you for all the things that you've done today. We just thank you for being Alpha Omega, beginning and end. Father God, we just thank you for who you are. That we pray over our brothers and sisters on the other side of this camera, God. We pray that they hear you and not us, Father God. That you speak to their hearts, their minds, and their souls, Father God, and what you were trying to get to them. Because you did all this for them. Completely all of this for them. And so we thank you, Father God, as Shine and I become less and less. We pray that you become greater and greater. Holy Spirit, fill, Holy Spirit, flood, Holy Spirit, do what only you can do. In Jesus' holy name, we do pray. Amen.
SPEAKER_01Amen. It is so, amen. So grab your snacks. Because, like I said, I'm gonna eat these. Okay. I need a snack. We had some some dinner. Now I need something a little sweet to hit the spot. Anywho, so we are talking about the importance of staying connected to our father. And this has been a topic that he has been uh screaming to me.
SPEAKER_00I love that. Us. I'll I'll give you that. I have a cup of my own. So yeah, but it's a screaming, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because it's not at this point, it's not subtle anymore. And I literally feel like everybody that I talk to, he's having me say, like, you need to get connected. Like you need to get connected, you need to spend quality time with me, spend quality time with me. It's like he's like stressing the importance of it. Um, so what does that look like?
SPEAKER_00So for me, that is spending time in the word, spending time in prayer, um, spending time just worshiping him because we're kind of talking about the situation. And when I am not connected to the Lord, um, I'm completely everywhere. I'm I'm doing things in my own strength. I'm in places that I have no business in.
SPEAKER_01No business being in.
SPEAKER_00Um the Lord is telling me to rest, and I'm on 610 somewhere, going somewhere. And in that the chaos is the thing that kept dropping, the chaos of the mind. Um, in a Bible study called Battlefield of the Mind, and one called Get Out of Your Own Head, and realizing the more that I am not spending that alone time with the Lord is when my brain and the chaos and everything that's going on in life tends to come and overwhelm when the Lord never said that. He was like, cash your burdens on me, seek me first, and then I'll align all of that. And so, like seeking him and spending that time staying connected with him, he aligns. You don't need to worry about that today. That's a tomorrow thing. That's a tomorrow thing. Today you need X, Y, and Z. And so, yeah, yeah, that was a very long answer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, it wasn't actually. It was like it was perfect, yeah. Because even for me, like over the past like month, month and a half, he's been like stressing you need to spend a long time with me. You need to spend a long time with me, spend alone time with me, and like us being a part of the prayer team, I feel like he stresses it even more for us because we are interceding for people, we're standing in the gap for people, and the warfare that comes just with that alone, not including our own stuff, our own family stuff, our own things, right? This is an added layer, which is why I was like, Lord, I want to be a part of no prayer team. Like, no, I fought it for so long because I'm like, bro, this is too much. Like, it's too much, and then whatever I finally joined in all the things, and he's like stressing the importance of spending quality time with me so I can hear from him and not from me. That part, so when I'm covering his sons and daughters, I'm covering them with words from him and not words from me or my personal experience. Because I think sometimes too, people pray because y'all been through oh Lord, when that just came out, I was like, Oh my! He said, 'I'm using everything,' he is like, Oh my. People pray from their own personal experiences and pray how they got through it, Lord, or how they overcame it. Which I uh there's nothing wrong with telling someone that or giving them your testimony.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01However, in a time where you're covering somebody in prayer, you want to hear clearly from the Holy Spirit as to what he wants to say to his son and daughter and not what you want to say to them. That time can be, okay, amen. Now, here, let me tell you my testimony and how I overcame it. And maybe you can go back to the Lord and ask him how you can implement this and that.
SPEAKER_00Because this could be an Isaiah 43 moment where the Lord is doing a new thing. Absolutely, and we're capping him on something he might have done in my life when he wants to do something else. That's so good.
SPEAKER_01That is so good. So, y'all, y'all got your Bibles? Okay, so let's go to uh John 15, and we are gonna read about staying with oh, the pause because you're so annoying.
SPEAKER_03I'm so annoying.
SPEAKER_01So, y'all go get y'all Bibles. Y'all know we're gonna take y'all to the word and what the word says. And again, let me just stress this is me and Jay's experiences. We are not Bible the old theologians or we we we just read the Bible and listen to the Holy Spirit. That's it.
SPEAKER_00Like, we're not remaining vessels and what the revelation he has given us to give in this moment that part time, that part, and leave it there.
SPEAKER_01Like, nobody's like holy, like we want y'all to be invited and welcoming, like y'all sitting on this blue couch with us, okay.
SPEAKER_00So go get y'all Bibles and have too much space here, but we could, you know, if you was in here, you'd be sitting right there.
SPEAKER_01Bro, this is the red house. It's it's about three different rooms, okay? We sit on this couch right here. That's what I'm saying. But still, yeah, y'all like all your rooms in here. However, shout out to Red House, real quick. Real quick, shout out to Leah and Travis. We love y'all so, so, so much. Y'all are our hearts. SPEAKER_00Healing, prophetic, healing, deliverance, all the things. Jesus comes, manifests his presence, and it meets you right in here. It meets you where you are. Oh my god. Literally, you're coming. Me coming, I think that first time. Um, my expectations were probably about here. You were coming the first time. Was it right? You came the first time together. I mean, we weren't together, but yeah, y'all was under that.
SPEAKER_01The oil, y'all.
SPEAKER_00If y'all don't know the old common, y'all gotta feel. Yeah, yeah, I gotta feel it. And so my expectations were here. Yeah, and then getting to watch the Lord have breakthrough in your life, literally, massively, and other people, and then the next time I was like, Okay, Lord, literally, I I'm I'm ready. Like, I've I've been pouring out, like I just want to be refilled. And he met me in my favorite room. You'll find out when you get here.
SPEAKER_01Favorite room, and he literally wait, was it what was it that room the second time? The second time y'all did what's the names, uh oh, deliver. Yeah, in the kitchen. Oh, you're right. Yeah, it wasn't even in your room.
SPEAKER_00So it's everyone, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because it was us again, like the Lord literally meets us here, and he used you in such a mighty way. That was the second time Red House, like that was the Lord, we're just like bam, bam, bam. Like, oh, it was so good. Yeah, that was the second time. And then the third time they put that together.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's so beautiful.

Jesus got all just literally and meeting you exactly where you are. You will not miss that second part, yeah. Yeah, how when I had my own complete break. Complete break. Um, wow.
SPEAKER_01Like this this house is like it'll forever be special to me, like forever be special to me. And shout out to Leah and Travis for just being open and willing vessels and staying connected to the Father. There it is, and understanding that importance and understanding the importance of that stuff is just stuff, right? This property, they gave it back to the Lord wholeheartedly, and they are just letting him do whatever he wants to do through it. And I love how they just allow like this is home. Yeah, like I was, I think I told Travis and Leon, like, bro, we all rolled up in here like it was our house. They were like, It is, it is, it is so shout out to y'all. We love y'all so, so, so much. Um, how we get there?
SPEAKER_00I think we were talking about them being on a couch. Oh, being with us, and I was like, Yeah, but not like literally.
SPEAKER_01Get your Bibles, get your Bibles, not like literally. She's tired. Get your Bibles and get snacks because I'm gonna be munching and crunching. All right, go for it, Jay.
SPEAKER_00John 15. Verse 1. I am the true grapevine, and my father is a gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me and I will remain in you. For a branch can't produce fruit if it is severed from the vine. You cannot be fruitless or fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine, but you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me, you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burnt. But if you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. Verse 9. I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love. Just as I obey my father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will be overflowing. I'm gonna read that again. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will be overflowing. This is my commandment. Love each other in the same way I've loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friend. You are my friends if you do what I command. I knew I was waiting on it. If no longer, I no longer call you slaves because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends. Since I have told you everything the father told me, you did not choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit. So the father will give you whatever you ask for using my name. This is my command. Love each other.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for your word. Thank you for your word. Y'all, just a quick little caveat. John 15, 15 through 16 is triple A's foundational scripture. It is. Yes, yes, yes. It is our foundational scripture, and praise the Lord. Um, so with this, I've seen some ifs and buts. Whenever you see an if and but in the scripture, it's saying you gotta do something, right? If you see but, that means it cancel out with what it just said. Yeah, but it said in verse, uh, where are we? It says in verse uh verse six and seven, it says, anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like useless branch, like a useless branch and withers. Such branches, um, I don't know, such branches are gathered into a pile to be burnt. What would that mean?
SPEAKER_00What in hell? I don't know why I said it like that, but yes, it's metaphorically in that you could complete in the chat, right? The Lord separating the two and yes, burn in hell.
SPEAKER_01Bro, that's so funny because like y'all, we just we just recorded this, like we just read this, and we were both like, you're going to hell. It's like, whatever you it was so funny, right? So it's saying you'll be burned and pretty much like you're gonna go to hell, pretty much, right? So verse seven says, but which cancels out that you'll burn, right? If it cancels that out, but it says if, meaning you have to do something, right? It says, if you remain in me, and my words remain in you, um, you may ask anything you want from me, and it will be granted when you uh when you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples, um, and you bring great glory to the father, right? And then it goes into all of these other things. So there's something we have to do.
SPEAKER_00We have to remain in him first off. That period stay connected.
SPEAKER_01Period. Practically, what does it look like to remain in him? Spending time with him. Seek him first. How do how do you how do you seek him? This is this is first, like you have to, you gotta know who you're seeking, right? Like the same way y'all be looking up old boy on Instagram and y'all be tearing down his Instagram, Facebook, right? You all on that girl Instagram, right? Yeah, I'm going there. Um, you be all like you you trying to figure out who they are, what they like, all the things, right?
SPEAKER_00Who that posted that girl? Who is she?
SPEAKER_01Okay, right? Is that his cousin or his sister? Like, I'm just trying to figure out like if that's his little side piece that you know, he's trying to give me a little clippy clip. You know what I'm saying? Like, bro, we do our research on who we want to spend time with. We do our research. That's that's like, yeah, yeah, like we do our research on who we want to spend time with, who we want to be involved with. Like, we we do our research and we do it thoroughly. I could be a private investigator if I wanted to be.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna find out my whole life story when your child came in.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, absolutely. You you might be you about to be with my child. Like, yes, I'm I was all on your Facebook. Like, who is who is she? And then you got mad because I never requested you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was like, that's so weird.
SPEAKER_01No, it's not like I'm gonna be trying to be people's friends, like what? Especially on the on the social media, like you still for there, okay? But now we're friends on all the things, so relax, calm down, type down. Um, however, so you we're so tired, y'all. Like, we're so tired. Uh-uh. Don't pick that up. Don't be trying to pick stuff up.
SPEAKER_00What's up with you? I'm not putting it in my bag. Oh. Oh. Yeah. That's a fence is a choice. I'm not putting the, you know. I even said nothing offensive. No, but like, truly, yeah. Don't pick it up. That's what I think. That's gonna be a pod. That's what that means. Like, I know what it means. Oh, yeah. You didn't say anything offensive, but you could have looked at me a certain way. Yeah, you could talk. You could have looked at me a certain way, and I I decided to pick up offense. So I didn't pick up that and put it on my back and carried it around and have all this offense and unforgiveness, all of that.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, you took it there, just doing too much, like it wasn't even that serious, but you ain't like that no more. Praise the Lord. I'm too tired to care. Um so yeah, like we do our research. So, why do we think we don't have to do our research when it comes to the Lord? A few months ago, the Lord had me in the Word, especially in the new, in the Old Testament, because I'm like, Lord, who are you? I'm trying to figure out who you are, what your heart is, like what your intentions with me, all the things, right? Like that was like my my mindset, right? Like, I need to know who you are and what you want from me, what you require of me. I can't do that if I don't know your word or get in your word to get to know you. Right? So I had to do my research. That's a practical way. Getting in your word. Y'all, y'all know my Bible is. We've been through it. And no, I ain't getting another one. I ain't getting another one because I love this one. I got some things in here, and I just love it. But thrive, do better. Okay. Anywho, so yeah. I just, you have to get to know the father first. Get to know what he requires of you. Get to know his heart, his love for you. Get to know, get to know him. The only way you can do that is here. The only way. Why are you smarting at me like that?
SPEAKER_03That's good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was good. Um, so that's one practical way that you can stay connected to the vine is by reading your word and and and and doing your research on the God that you serve, right? Getting to know his heart, right? Aligning your will with his. How do you know what his will is through his word? That is how you do that.
SPEAKER_00So I loved earlier when you were talking about practically and aligning them to you, about um do too. The going on someone's social media and going through all of those different things, right? It really made it me think of that, and then also I have a really great friend, and she is her words, not mine. Um, her dating apps and all of that are like a second job at this point. Like she is putting in that work, right? And so as you're saying that, it made me think of that putting in that time um liking this guy or trying to get that, and you're texting, you're texting all of these things, right? Same situation, absolutely. However, then at one point, at some point, at some point, um, you get to the point where you actually hear their voice. Start hearing their voice because you've been spending that time here to know them. And then now you're actually talking or whatever the case may be, and now you're able to hear their voice. As you were saying, same with the the word of God, you're reading his word and you're praying, and then as you're moving throughout, you're now being able to hear his voice. Whatever that it might not be audible, it might be a feeling, it might be um something that passes by, it might be a song. The other day it was a song from staying connected the other day with a song. Staying connected to the vine. Oh, thank you, Lord. I forgot all about that. We were driving back. Um, a comment was made literally from the backpack I just talked about. A comment was made. I didn't pick up the offense to it. What happened is it made me think that I have not grown in an area that I thought I had, right? And that was not the intent or the heart behind the people who were talking to me about the situation. So we're driving down uh 99. I'm like flying to be honest. Yes, she was driving down 99, and I'm like overthinking it. Like I'm overthinking it. And you like, you good? And I was like, I just need to turn on music because I know I'm in my head, I know I'm I'm all of these things. And the music was um Christian upbeat music. Um, because as we go into that staying connected and and feeding my own flesh, I was listening to a ton of sad songs.
SPEAKER_01A ton of sad songs, like sad songs. Not even sad. Like I wasn't even so excited. Like, and she's just all happy. I'm like, girl, what's up with you? Like, what's up with you? So deep. You hear these words so deep.
SPEAKER_00Like they they was really feeling something. So, anyways, so driving down, listening to it. I turn on this song, I start listening. One of my favorite songs, Upbeat Em we're going, and she I know she over there just praying. She was like, Laura, I don't know what that is, but like help her, and I'm like crying. I start crying at the time.
SPEAKER_01You do that, like it was a tear. Yeah, she let one.
SPEAKER_00It's called a that's crying. A tear is a cry.
SPEAKER_01Like she was fighting in tears, child.
SPEAKER_00So I'm like, really battling this thing, right? You're so annoying. Really battling this thing, and then the song comes on, not on my playlist. I really like Spotify right now, so not on this playlist. And literally, his his lyrics were and you're sitting there overthinking, stop overthinking, get out of your head, get out of your head, literally this. And I was like, God, are you funny? You are so funny. So praise God, but it could be something as simple as that. And it was, and I knew it was the Lord. Like I knew you couldn't tell me nothing. He was like, Yeah, we ain't gonna do this, especially for where we're going. We're not doing this. Absolutely. Um, and in that moment, I was not connected in the vibe, I was connected in my own mental thoughts, right? In my own flesh of like, oh my goodness. I, I, I, I, I, I is how that was. And it wasn't God, God, God, God, God, or the word of God said this about me. I the Lord is moving me from glory to glory, and it's a journey, not a destination. And I was sitting there like, Lord, and he was like, Yeah, we ain't doing this. You overthink it, and then we were good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. But that's that's so many people though, that and it's in this reality, unfortunately. Like, we're so used to like, yeah, being up and down, or in our own head. I remember when we first started like getting to know one another, right? And I was you you and you'd be like, I'm I'm processing, let me just process that, and that let me process, and about start talking like you. Did you hear the voice change?
SPEAKER_00I did, and I just let it you done marked a lot of voices today for people.
SPEAKER_01So this is why I'm like, this one ain't that bad, I'll take it. Because I'd be feeling like I'd be needing to talk in people's voices because it's funny. Um, anywho, it makes me feel like I'm reciting the story because you know I'd be I'd be forgetting. Anywho, so um you're you were a processor, and right? And I was like, girl, just invite the Lord in on your processing, right? So he can help you so that you're not in your head as much, right? And that was like so, and now like you're like you don't process like you used to. Now you be like, okay, what's the lie and what's the truth? And you'd be like, okay, truth is X, Y, and Z, the lie is X, Y, and Z. And now you allow the Lord to be like, all right, now enough is enough. Now we coming up out of this, and you come up out of it. Because after that you were fine. And I was like, praise the Lord. So you are growing in that area, but think about how many people are just in their own heads because they don't have or they don't spend that quality time with the Lord to the vine.
SPEAKER_00They are not connected to the vine. And he said that that verse that you liked six anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers.
SPEAKER_01That part. So that's that's more and that's the importance of being connected. Yeah, because it tells you that if you're not connected, you're useless for one. Like you're useless, you're gonna shrivel up and die. Like a like literally picture a tree and a branch and how the leaves are dead. Like if it you're gonna you're gonna die. He said he's gonna cut you off and throw you into the fire, meaning you going to hell. Y'all, it's not funny. It's not funny at all. It's actually very serious. Like it's very, very serious, like what we're saying, right? Like it's light and stuff right now. However, it's very, very serious because you're talking about your salvation, you're talking about your life, right? Staying connected is vital because I refuse to not be connected and go to hell. A few months ago, a few months, a few weeks ago, right? When we recorded that heart check, and I was like, oh, I was like going through it, right? And it's what's a heart check? They won't know a heart check at this point. They don't? Oh, I thought we talked about it. Anyways, a heart check is where we just check in with one another, seeing where we are, like it's been a long week. Now we're recording. Where are we? We're checking on one another and and just being open and vulnerable.
SPEAKER_03Completely.
SPEAKER_01And we're sharing that with y'all. Most of our heart checks will be on our Patreon. Um, we may drop a little I think we'll hear one. You think we'll drop one? Well, we might drop one, and like it gets real, real and vulnerable. You guys will be able to see us in a new light. And and I mean, we're open and vulnerable and stuff right now. However, in in heart checks, we get a little bit more personal to we forget you're theirs. Yeah, like and it's just it's just us talking. It's just literally us talking how we normally talk. And maybe it gets real because when I tell you I was going through it, yeah, like three weeks ago, I was going through it. Like I could barely like talk. Like, I was going through it, and it's because I compromised my me time with the Lord. I I cut off my water supply. I cut myself from the vine. And I was feeling it. I was feeling it for me. Like, I'm I'm an easygoing person for the most part. Like, um, I'm like real chill, relaxed, like cool, like nothing bothers me for real, for real. Like, I just be minding my business. For real, for real. And drinking my like, I just be minding my business, right? And I and I truly lay stuff down at the Lord's feet. Like, that is not. However, when I was when I disconnected myself, I was picking stuff back up. Like I was in my head, like I was so overwhelmed, like my emotions were like all over the place. Like I was all, I was a mess. I was like crying random, like I was a mess. And I'm like, what is wrong with me? Like, what is it? I was snappy, like I was like a butthole to you, like to my husband, even snappy with my kids. Like, I was a mess. And I'm like, like, Lord, what is the problem? Like, well, life got in the way, and I began to compromise my time with the Lord. And I said this on the last podcast, I think. Like, he was even at one point, like, bro, if you don't spend time with me, you don't get to pray, right? And I think I said that in the last thing, and then I was and I didn't pray because I still didn't, because I was still too busy to spend time with him, right? And just throughout that whole like I was I was losing my mind. I'm like, Lord, like he's like, you need to spend time with me, like you apart from me, you're a lunatic. Like, I was like, oh my, like you're absolutely right. Like, I'm losing my mind, like, what is happening? He's like, You are yes, like I was like slipping into like a depression, and I was just like in a dark place, and thank God for iron that sharpens you because you was like, Yeah, no, I'm not letting you go to that place. And I was like, I'm going. I'm going. He's like, I was choosing to sit in Pity City, like I was choosing to like be there because I didn't know what else to do because my I put the blind brace back on my eyes. I did, yeah. So now Pity City looks good and fun and depression and all like it just go back to Egypt. You know what I'm saying? Like it looked like glamorous, right? However, it was not, and the Lord has been stressing since. You need to speak, you can't live apart from me. Do you see? And I and in that time, after I came up out of it, like, Lord, okay, I hear you. I surrender. I'm like, I can't live apart from you. I can't, Lord. I my prayer, I I don't ever want to go back to that place. I don't ever want to be disconnected from you. And even now, like when like I start slipping, I feel that little nudge, like, all right, all right. Like, keep it up, right? But he's a gentleman, he's not gonna, you know, like force me, but he will give me that warning, like, all right now, like you slipping, like you said you said, yeah, you ain't wanna go back there. So it takes work not to go back there, right? So that's where I was a few weeks ago because I disconnected from him and I stopped spending my quality time with him. And literally since then, like he's been having me give people the word of remind them they need to spend quality time with me. It even happened today, and I was just like, oh Lord, like okay, like you're you're telling your sons and daughters, like you need them to get into their quiet place because and I do believe like what's about to go down, we need to be able to hear from the Lord, see what's happening spiritually, feel all the things like our spiritual senses need to be open.
SPEAKER_00Completely agree, literally, y'all.
SPEAKER_01Not bad.
SPEAKER_00So everything you said, that's so good. Five. Yes, I am the vine, you are the branches, those who remain in me, and I in them will produce much fruit. Yeah, for apart from me, you can do nothing. And that's what you're talking about in that moment of um us going in our own strength, and we're like, we got this, right? We got this, God, I got this, I got this, I got this. Yeah, and then the chaos starts to happen, the lies we were talking about with me, the lies I could be believing, the chaos, the overwhelming feelings, all of that. And we're sitting, Lord, why is all of this going uh array? Like, what is happening? And he's like, You let go of me, and I never called you to this appointed season or this appointed space to do it without me. So no, and I loved how you said that, like you were obedient in what the Lord told you to do of like, no, you don't get to pray over anyone. And we had like that at that point, I think it was episode two we released. I know it's yeah, because we got like 10 in the in the car at this point, so released two in Fredericksburg, because the day, I'm not even gonna say the day, the day that we normally record, yeah. We came and that was that day. Yeah, and the Lord had gave gave you that, and he told me if you don't spend your alone time with me outside of the pod, right? Outside of what y'all are gonna talk about in the pod and you doing that research, just me and you time, you don't get to record the pod, you don't get to work on it, you don't get to edit nothing, like like you were even getting fed up with it. Yeah, yeah. I was like, maybe we just started. We just started. I let go of the pie. I was like, I don't want to do this anymore. I was like, I don't want to do this anymore. Yeah, Laura was like, that's not me. Can you can you? I think you said it uh before you had taken your hand off of uh out of his, and he was literally with me just sitting there, like, I'm right here. If you want to come, I'm right here. I'm right here, and I'm like, I'm just gonna sit here and have a pity party. And the the the fruit I was producing because I was not connected to the vine was um insecurity, comparison, um all the things, right? Doubt, hopelessness, everything that is against, I was impatient, everything that was against Galatians 5, 22 and 23, the fruit of the spirit. And so, girl, that was so good.
SPEAKER_01That was so good when you're not connected. So, even just saying that and how you were like, I don't want to do it no more, da da da. When you're not connected to the vine, you feel the weight of the world. Absolutely, like you feel how heavy life is without him, and how it's so overwhelming, right? Because even in that time, like you were overwhelmed with all the things, right? And now, like before we were like just doing it with ease, like it was just like, oh, this is fun, like you don't want nobody else editing, you don't want nobody doing this. Like you love it, like you had that joy, that excitement. But yeah, when you let go of the father's hand and you take back what he has given you or he has put in your hands, well, there it's in his hands, yeah, right?
SPEAKER_00But he trusted you with it, and you you know what I'm saying. So, all of my normal life of like, yeah, God, yes, um, prayer, because you talk about prayer, um, work, all of those things, all of the buckets are good and all the things that he's graced me for. I'm like, I got it all. And he was like, Do you care? Girl, girl, you're struggling.
SPEAKER_01You're struggling. It's not even just in that, like, even in like our everyday lives, right? Like, your kids, your husband, like your job, like if you don't surrender that stuff over to the Lord and like put it back in his hand, right? And stay connected to him, right? Because undisconnected from him, we'll we want to pick everything up, we wanna juggle everything, and we wanna we wanna get stuff done. Cause this world that we live in now, it's like quick, hustle, hustle. I gotta hustle, I gotta do this, I gotta do that. And the Lord is like, bro, my chill out, okay? Like my my my my burdens are light, my yoke is light. What you picking up that that's too heavy, yeah, because you're not connected. So good. Get connected back to the vine. Oh, what's happening? Get connected back to the vine and and and get in his presence, get in his seek his face, find out who he is, then spend that quality time with him. The same way you get into somebody you're dating, the same way you're getting to know like a family member that you just discovered as your family member, right? Like get to know who our father is so you'll you'll know how to stay connected. One, you'll know how to um um, oh my goodness, I said stay connected, you'll know his ways opposed to your own. You'll know what he his will opposed to your will, right? Hold on, y'all, because this thing about to go off. Um, okay. It's okay. Um, because you had you had something that you wanted to give the people that was really, really good. Here, yeah. Remember, you were like, oh, I forgot, you know, I don't I don't remember. I don't remember.
SPEAKER_00Um I think eleven I stopped at, and I wanted to go back to that. I want to talk about seven though, to be honest, but I'll go to eleven. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with joy. Yes, your joy will overflow flow. Staying connected to the vine produces joy, like true joy, joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Like the joy of our the Lord is our strength. And in those moments of like the chaos, the overwhelming, the the the what's that word? Crashing out that whole thing.
SPEAKER_01The people love that.
SPEAKER_00Um finding that joy in it, staying focused and seeking the Lord first. Yeah, um, he handles all of that.
SPEAKER_01What are the benefits of staying connected to the vine?
SPEAKER_00Is that what I was gonna say? Yeah. Okay, well, what do you get?
SPEAKER_01You get joy, you get joy, you get peace.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Galatians 5 20. I think I said it. Joy Galatians 5, 22, 23. It produces, yep. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things.
SPEAKER_01No law. And then if too, if you go back to seven where it says, But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you may ask me for anything you want and it will be granted. So again, what do you get? You get to ask our Heavenly Father for anything your heart desires, and his word tells tells you it will be granted to you. That's what the words say.
SPEAKER_00Revelation. Don't forget it. Um after the Lord was telling us to stay connected, we had all the things going on, and we had to reset. Because I added that. I don't know that you saw that to our list. I added that.
SPEAKER_01No, I saw that you just I saw that this just a minute ago.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I was like, oh, she was in the notes. No, yeah, I did that like two da two days ago. Oh my. So after that, we reconnected to the vine, right? Um, and I feel like that time we were spending so much time, which is great, with the Lord and him just like revealing things in separately, right? That had nothing to do with the pod. Um, just us being with our father, right? And going to seven. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want and it will be granted. Um, we left for that trip, and I think it was the first thing we did. Like we second thing, went to a place. Yeah. We went to a place and the Lord was like, Again, why don't you ask me for what you want? And we're like, wait, what?
SPEAKER_01Like little backstory. Because we don't ask the Lord for anything when it comes to ourselves. Absolutely. We pray for people all day, all day, and believe wholeheartedly that the Lord will do exactly what whatever that person is asking. Not saying that I don't believe that he can show up in my life. Yeah, that's not it. It's who am I to ask you for anything, right? And that's just a trick of the enemy. Yeah to keep us stuck, to keep us looking at our father like, oh, you love them, you'll do X, Y, and Z for them, but you won't necessarily do it for me, so I'm not even gonna ask you. He's like ask me. Like, child. And I think that came from like two people like ask, ask the Lord, tell the Lord what y'all want. And we in faith, we stepped out on it, and the Lord was like, uh-uh, y'all being too generic. Like, I need y'all to get the vision, write it down, and make it plain. Yeah, ask me what you want to the T. He kept having me go back, go back, and I'm adding stuff in detail, like X, Y, and Z, I want the like I go all the state struggle. She was. However, you've you've you've you've come a long way and you've been adding stuff slowly.
SPEAKER_00But literally, it just reminded me in that revelation. The Lord is like, and this is why. Yeah, y'all got back connected. You are doing what I'm asking you to do. You are producing the fruit. And because again, you said it this morning, um, we're just vessels. We're just that's all that is.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00Holy Spirit, move. Holy Spirit, do what you want. Now we're coming in agreement with your will. What do you want to happen today? What do you want for your people?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um pod. Like, even with this pod, like we, this is the Lord's. Like, he he are just he's just using us to talk to y'all. Like, we just we in a living room, comfortable, eating snacks, drinking drink uh body armor. Let me not say it like that. Coffee, drinking, drinking coffee, and you do you, okay? I ain't got nothing to do with that. You do you, however, like we're just willing vessels, and that's literally what we are doing. And even with like asking and like because I know so it's hard, and it's hard to stay connected, and it's hard to it's hard to be connected and in and in obedient sometime. Even for me, like the Lord was like, I asked the Lord for something, right? And he was like, Okay, for 30 days, do this consistently. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I've been there was I've been struggling. There there is sometimes something but if, which is your bad, but if coming back, and he was like, Okay, but I need you to do all of this.
SPEAKER_01Literally, this is what you want, and it's something so simple. Like, I literally got to make a journal entry every day about a certain topic, every single day. And he said, if you miss a day, you gotta start over from day one, and that's it's starting over to the fruit of the spirit.
SPEAKER_00It is that you've also had a dangerous prayer and ask for them dangerous prayers, y'all. I can't wait till we talk about that again.
SPEAKER_01Them dangerous prayers, like, yeah, so it's a struggle. Like, even me, I'm not I'm not nobody special or nobody spectacular. Like, I struggle too. I struggle daily, however, I'm I I don't stop. I won't even be sitting with the Lord and still forget to make that journal entry. And then the next day I'll be like, dang, I ain't right yesterday. Oh shoot, I gotta start all over. Like, oh, and it's also producing in me. Um it's also producing in me self-control.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01Because I do lack self-control in the sense of um like I feel like sometimes like I'm lazy, or I feel like I uh I procrastinate. I procrastinate a lot, and I'm just like, oh Lord, and I pray the dangerous way, like Lord, like this, this, this, like take it from me. Like, like that lethargy spirit that be trying to take over me. Y'all they be trying to get me, like it be trying to make me tired and stuff, but like that, like I like procrastinator. I feel like I'm like, what is happening? Like, why is it's so simple? Like, why am I struggling? And I know too, I struggle because not because I know I I know breakthrough is on the other side of this, and I think that's why the enemy is is trying to do anything he can to keep me from being consistent in it.
SPEAKER_00And and I can't just write consistency.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can't just write anything. No, no, no, no, no. I have to be intentional about what I write. If I want to see that breakthrough, not even just the breakthrough part, but I think he wants to do something else too with those journal entries that he's like, it's either you're gonna do it or you're not. Yeah, you're gonna trust me or you're not, you're gonna be obedient or you're not. And I'm like, Lord, it's a struggle. Like I I fight through it. Like, even when I don't have anything to say, I'd be like, Lord, like, what do you need, what do you want me to say? What do you want me to pray? What do you what do you want me to say? And I'm just like, I'm I it's a struggle. However, I'm not gonna give up. Especially knowing my my my breakthrough is connected to this. Absolutely not. If I gotta start restart over for a year, I don't care. I'm gonna continue. Child, I'm gonna have a book by the time this over with, okay? This is foolishness, Shannae. Get it together. Y'all hold me accountable right in the chat, like girl, get it together just right. But again, life gets in the way, and sometimes I'm like, okay, well, I spent my alone time, but I'm not walking in full obedience if I'm not doing that part of it. So I said all that to say, like, I know it's a struggle, and I know sometimes life and the world can pull you in, or you just don't feel like it, right? We have to learn to push past, to press toward the mark, to not get weary in the well-doing, or not feel like, oh, I'm doing this, and and what am I doing this for? Like, what am I following Jesus for if my life is just gonna be hell? Like, what am I staying connected for if my life is, you know what I'm saying? Like, there is peace, joy, even when your life, I thought it hurt pixie me out on. Even when your life is like chaotic, like my life be chaotic. I got like 10 kids, y'all. Like my life be is chaotic. It's so chaotic, right? I got so many different things. However, there's peace and stillness of uh of my mind when I stay connected. When when when there's a storm, oh, I remember we were in an intercession one time, and literally there was a storm, a whirlwind, like there was a tornado, like going around me or a girl. I'm assuming it was me or whoever he had me give that word to, but I'm gonna claim that for myself, right? And he was in the middle with his hand out when he was in the eye of the storm, like we there was safety, there was peace, there was calmness. Like, yeah, I see all this stuff flying around me, but I I have so much peace, there's so much joy, there's so much uh uh there's so much um there's so much clarity. There's so much clarity here. I can see it all. Yeah, like I can see it all, clear as day. Like, oh, I need you to focus right here, not over there, that don't matter. So, yeah. That was my trio.
SPEAKER_00So, yes, staying connected to the vine. You you talked about this 30 challenge that you and the Lord are doing. I'm hearing the Lord very clearly say right now we as a family are about to start a 30-day challenge of reading the Bible together.
SPEAKER_01Oh my.
SPEAKER_00Um, what's today's date? I don't even know. It's like the 27th. Okay, whatever 30 days is, we'll put it in the thing.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wait, from from Wednesday though, because they'll see this Wednesday. Oh, okay. What's what's when's Wednesday? What's it? Let's see. Y'all, what's Wednesday? Well, yeah, I don't know, because y'all watching this on Wednesday. The 30th.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so from the 30th, and then I'll put in the caption. We're gonna do um a reading the Bible challenge. That's it.
SPEAKER_01What does that consist of?
SPEAKER_00Um, it's gonna consist of, oh, should it be a plan? I don't want to really do a plan.
SPEAKER_01Um, you can go like live on your I on the IG. Oh my god. And do Bible study. Ooh, look at that. No, first of all, this is news to me because we did not talk about it. We did not. The Lord just dropped that prior to this.
SPEAKER_00I don't know what this is gonna look like yet. We gotta ask him. So why are you telling the people then? Because he said specifically he wants his people to be in their word for the next 30 days. Okay, and so he was also saying not to make it too much. We start somewhere. And as we start, you build. And in those 30 days, writing down if it's journaling or if it's just you um, oh Lord, we're gonna have to do this, aren't we? I'm feeling it. I don't know what this is gonna look like.
SPEAKER_01Well, so we'll figure out what it looks like. We're just letting y'all know that a 30-day challenge is coming probably next week, because if it says urgent, it seems sounds like it's urgent. If the Lord just dropped it on you, then he ain't playing.
SPEAKER_00So but in it, it's also them writing down their feelings. We'll explain it. We'll explain it.

Like he was like, they need to know that because there are some people who are like, oh, I read it and I fall asleep, right? Or I read it or I have trouble reading, whatever. And then from there, um, staying connected that way, reading your Bible, yeah, um, praying during this time. Yeah, he's like downloading what this is gonna look like in real time.
