So he's coming in the back door and I see him carrying the bags and I'm looking at the bag because I'm there with mom and the zucchinis are like this big and that big around and I go , brother , I said mom's going to be pissed . And I'm like I don't know , I can only see her from the back . She'd go well , guess , I'm like , I don't know 23? . And I'm like , yeah , okay , so she goes , I'm going to teach you something . Okay , she goes . You got to look at their hands and their feet .

Yeah , Dude , I taught a Chinese girl in my class . I thought 18 , 19 , 20 . She starts talking to me she's 37 kids . Oh , wow , I went . What ? Yeah , yeah , I'm just coming back to redo some things and try to get into the medical profession like holy smokes .

Boys and girls all turn around , and so , whether they turned around or not , because they heard the noise in the class was one thing , or the ones that bursted out laughing as soon as they realized they got caught . You knew , they knew what that said , what that sound with that song was as well . Anyway , I thought that was kind of funny , right yeah ?
Speaker 1that is funny , because more people you then you think , actually know what that is . I know what I said for the record , I had no idea . Yeah , what you know . Why , though ?

So when I was in malaysia for all those years , here's some stupid shit that went on so I had a leak in the ceiling in the master bathroom . Oh yeah , I remember you telling me , yeah , yeah yeah , you know a leak .
Speaker 1And so the building superintendent comes in and he goes we're going to have to cut a hole up here to see where it's leaking and see the pipes . I'm like , oh , okay , no problem . So you know , come in and zip it out . And he goes oh , it's dry . Like I told you , there's no leak , you know , because downstairs there was a giant leak and I said it's not coming from my house , because there's no water on the floor and there's a drain . So every time I wash the floor his whole apartment would be soaked . And that's not happening , okay . So then he goes well , he cut here , it's dry . So he goes well , we need to cut at the bottom to see if it's wet there .
Speaker 1I go , you know about gravity , right ? He goes , what I go ? Water fucking flows downhill . Okay , so I said if there's no water at the top , there's going to be no water at the bottom . Well , I don't think . So , let's see . I go . Okay , fucking go ahead , bro . Well , look at that , it's dry . And I go like this Get the fuck out of my house . Yeah , yeah , just immediately he goes . What I said either get out or I will fucking throw you out and pick one and I never , ever , brought them back in to do it to fix anything .
Speaker 1I didn't give a shit , I didn't bother anything . I can fix it whenever we get the new people in . And it turns out it was never from my apartment , ever . It was from downstairs , in between the two slabs dripping in . It had nothing to do with me . Yeah , yeah , which I told them initially the first time . Yeah yeah , but by the way , that time they're in the house complaining about it's leaking yeah , I know , I remember you telling me .
Speaker 2Well , the best part is they go .
Speaker 1Can we go see the bathroom ? I go sure you're gonna see a clean , dry floor . Yeah , and he goes . Yep , yeah , yeah , so you know . So stupidity is not just in canada , it's all over the place , and this person should not be in the profession of trying to figure out leaks . Yeah , right , I think , when you know they were standing in line , when you stand in line for your , you know , when God was saying brains and he thought trains and he stood in the wrong line or something like this fucking guy . Anyway , they fired his ass .

Speaker 1if the guy's like the super of the building or whatever , that's one thing the super , no you know , you need to bring your maintenance guys in to figure that shit out , right yeah the first thing I said is why don't you go downstairs and cut a hole in the fucking roof ?

Speaker 1So , mike , I was out the other day . Everybody's buying back-to-school stuff oh , yeah , everybody yeah . And what I did see is I saw some I wasn't telling you I saw some daughters fighting with their dads in like shops . Okay Right , like . So these kids I'm not stupid , I know what university I teach . So these kids are university age .
Speaker 2You can tell they're going to their first apartment right , oh yeah , this weekend , man , it's going to be crazy . Yeah , yeah , so I was at two places .
Speaker 1I was at Marshall at marshals and winners looking for some things and there's like what I was amazed at is like the amount of daughters with their dads , because that's something you didn't see . But my fucking dad would never be caught shopping with one of my sisters that's not a chance in hell . He'd wait in the car and go , here's a thousand dollars come back when you're ready .
Speaker 2Well , dad used to sit in . You find a bench in the mall . Yeah there you go .
Speaker 1There you go , yeah , and you talk to you how long you been here three years , yeah , yeah , right . But anyway , I was like the dad , clearly this dad . I was , like you know , listening , kind of watching them , looking for certain things . And I hear him go , what's wrong ? She goes you don't know style , I can't have that in my apartment . And he's like what does it matter ? It's a garbage , can ? She's like ? But it doesn't matter . Like she was , it did match . She's like she's all huffy in this and I'm just like I went to look and go , yeah , you know , and I'm thinking how long has he been in here ?
Speaker 2yeah , and then I saw another .
Speaker 1Here's another thing too . I saw a lady in there who I thought was a daughter , was the mother of a daughter you with me , sure . So the daughter's probably 20 , so mom at the very least 35 , and she had the kid at 15 .
Speaker 1Let's say so , mom didn't look any older than 20 . Yeah , and I'm like , holy smokes , what genetics in this family is bananas ? But here's the other thing too Neither one of them wear many clothes . This is inside a shop , yeah , Like you know , and everybody's like , hmm , you know this kind of thing . But yeah , back to school is a big deal here because we have how many universities uh saint ?

Speaker 1Then we got the off breaks of dow housey , the cogs and these other things . We got the art school downtown . We got nova scotia community college . Right , yeah , uh , what else is here ?
Speaker 2um well , I should say like so uh all these schools are going back . Yeah , like it's a , it's labor day is coming up , they'll all be back to school that's right .
Speaker 1Labor day is monday frosh week , oh boy , yeah , it'll be a lot of fun , but nowadays you can't really do anything right yeah , I know this hazing or yeah , everybody's in trouble for that right y'all wear like a pink shirt are we house ?

Speaker 2Anyway , back to school . It's the traffic in the city . I know you love traffic . Traffic in the city is going to change because , yeah , it is university kids go back a couple of days later .
Speaker 1Uh , all the , the , the . The school kids are going to be going back , so it's going to be great . Well , today at the gym . I was at the gym this morning and I saw it , the entire gym , all men . That never happens . There was nobody at the gym this morning cause it's a long weekend , so and I'm thinking this too .
Speaker 1By the way , I'm probably single men , right , or older gentlemen . That's what I saw there , because there was not one lady in the whole gym for that hour . I was there and me and my buddy , uh travis , were just talking about that and he's like , well , you know the hardcores or whatever right here . But most people like I forgot because I'm retired . Uh , I forgot that it was a long weekend . Right , he goes . Yeah , everybody's probably gonna . I said , all right , I'm thinking about that last hurrah before the big time , or everybody's taking some kid to university .
Speaker 2Moving off some kid . Yeah , I've already seen .
Speaker 1A lot of crying going on , I'm sure .
Speaker 2Seen some pictures of you know dropping them off first year university or whatever .
Speaker 1Oh , on the news .
Speaker 2No people . I went to high school with posting photos and stuff .
Speaker 1I've been dropping their kids off .
Speaker 2Old enough now , man . Everybody's kids are going to school now .
Speaker 1Yeah , that's the thing , right . Yeah , that's pretty crazy .
Speaker 2My nephew's only he's going into his last year of high school . He's almost he'll be in university or college in a year or two , yep .
Speaker 1He's going to go to uni .
Speaker 2I don't know . I haven't talked to him about it yet .
Speaker 1Because he didn't mention it until we were just chatting . Yep , sean probably wants him to go , he's still got a year .
Speaker 2He'll figure it out , right .

Speaker 2No , Sean will be supportive of whatever he wants to do .
Speaker 1Well , that's what I mean . He don't have to go to uni anymore . Yeah , no , I think .
Speaker 2yeah , I'm sure listen , I'm sure they had the conversations . That's not something I've , yeah , Because school's expensive nowadays . It is , I'm sure . If he goes to school , my brother would love that he stayed home Growing up where we grew up .
Speaker 1We didn't have that option . Well , he wants to go to UNB , right you ?
Speaker 2stayed home when you went to school , right ?
Speaker 1The first guys I work with now .
Speaker 2they were born and raised here , they went to school here and they lived at home .
Speaker 1I was lucky enough I could drive to uni . That's it , yeah .
Speaker 2So we don't have that when .
Speaker 1I grew that option right , so you got like a university in two separate cities , the same one right unb , isn't it like in two different places , or ?
Speaker 2something .
Speaker 1Uh , well , there's like they have offshoots like they do yeah whatever , yeah , like now that's right yeah yeah , speaking of that , you hear a weird story . My uh cousin , my mom's brother's son not saying his name , my age never had a job I am never worked a day in his life and did not go to university . And still lives at home yeah , to this day . And uh , his dad recently passed away and his mom has dementia oh no , yeah , yeah , but he never , ever were . I've never heard of crazy .
Speaker 1That's weird yeah and here's the thing my uncle , god rest his soul , was a great dude , always playing pranks and everything , but he never , ever forced him . He didn't say oh you gotta .
Speaker 1He never , whatever . He only had two kids , he was the youngest . But yeah , yeah , I never went . But back to school . School is good for some people , and here's the thing you're gonna know if it's good or not for you after about two months . Yeah , that's right's right , because you're going to go . This is way harder than I thought . Or wow , this is all right . Or wow , I haven't been to school in two months because I'm at the bar drinking .

Speaker 2Yeah , there's lots of guys . You start your first year of university with that you are away from home for the first time out from under the thumb of the parentes .
Speaker 1That was me , right like right . The parental units keep the close eye . Now here's the thing you grow up fast , you learn shit . You gotta do your own laundry . You gotta cook if you can cook . If not , you gotta put on the freshman 20 , right ? It's another problem
Advice for University Students
Speaker 1, right ? I never did that , right , but uh , yeah . So a lot of young people . God love you and good luck to you in university and learning shit on your own . Do not spend all your money on alcohol and weed , because now it's both legal .
Speaker 2It's too easy to get through your student loan right away .
Speaker 1Yeah , don't go through your student loan right away . Save a little bit , yeah , but uh , just study hard , be better than everybody else .
Speaker 2That's all I can tell you be a specialist study hard , be better than everybody .
Speaker 1That's it man that comes from where I was in asia , because there's five billion of them , or 50 billion or whatever over there and everybody's working harder than the other person , right ? So that's how , that's what it takes . So , yeah , all right , so write us , let us know about the favorite child thing , because I'd love to read some of that yeah .
Speaker 1My mother didn't even talk to me . You don't exist . Get three PhDs and see how that feels . Yeah , yeah , right . So anyway , once again , mikey Bobby , wrong bitches .
