The cold hits first, but it’s the cars that really bite back. We open with lane assist tugging at the wheel, ghost collision warnings, and the kind of low-clearance ride that turns into a snow plow the moment the driveway berm appears. Winter tires, maintenance delays, and a lucky score on unused Michelins set the stage for a bigger question: are our tools helping, or just making more noise when weather and life get messy?

From there we move into the chaos of human choices. Highway merges turn petty, pointless passes become a ritual, and we admit how impatience shapes traffic culture. A nostalgia pit stop brings levity—Mario marathons, arcade cabinets, and the simple joy of chasing a high score—before we slam into the economics of the everyday. Pennies that cost four cents, tax-in versus sticker-shock add-ons, and the way clear pricing reduces friction highlight how systems can either guide or mislead.

We don’t dodge the heavy stuff. Scams that raise millions to help dozens, strikes that hit the lowest-paid hardest, and crypto stories that swing from landfill losses to near-misses sharpen our focus on resilience. We talk practical security—safes, smarter passwords, home systems—and quieter living that doesn’t invite trouble. Then AI crashes the party with deepfakes so convincing they erode the very idea of seeing as believing. The takeaway is firm but hopeful: skepticism by default, source checks, and learning the tools without surrendering judgment.

Sports ties it all together. We debate a GM fallout after trading a generational talent, sketch expectations for role players who swing outcomes, and celebrate the hidden work behind greatness. Wemby versus Draymond shows how physics can trump effort; Steph’s tireless off-ball movement proves conditioning is a weapon; and the Lakers’ late-game habits remind us that trust and rhythm matter. UFC caps the theme: fundamentals rule, styles make fights, and ignoring your gaps is expensive. Hit play for sharp takes, honest laughs, and guardrails for a world that’s getting louder. If this vibe fits, follow the show, tap that thumbs up, and drop a comment with the take you’re staking your name on.

You Wood Think? Bobby and Mikey D

Freezing Start And Car Tech Rants

SPEAKER_00

See, we can't say this stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Hey everybody, welcome back to freezing cold, your balls off for uh what are we doing again? You would think podcast with uh Mikey D and Bobby D and Mikey D and Bobby D and Bobby D and Mikey D. I'm cold. Yes, so that's the problem. I have he's struggling already. Yeah, it's it's freezing, it's like seven degrees, but it's raining, and my car's talking to me now, it's pissing me off. It's not like kit, right, or anything. It's like uh what you're driving could be icy roads. I'm like, what? I'm trying to drive a car, stop talking to me, you fucking stupid car.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. But anyway, yeah. Yeah, I think I told you before our car has that uh uh whatever, I don't know if it's collision warning or whatever it is, but it's it's collision warning.

SPEAKER_01

Like if you're too close to the car in front of you, well, yeah, that's fine.

SPEAKER_00

If you're too close to the, you know, like you need a brake because something's something's all of a sudden you come around the corner and everybody stops. Sure, great, sure. But like I don't know how many times I've been driving, and then just out of the blue for no reason whatsoever, it tells me like it does the brake thing, like it vibrates a little bit and the warning light comes up, and there's no there's there's no reason for seeing ghosts, yeah. Well, I think it's just the sensor must get like dirty or something, and then it just I don't know, right? So, yeah, yeah, I know, right?

SPEAKER_01

It's a New Zealand commercial, never forget it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's okay. My I took that off. I got that off.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay. That part where it puts the brakes on it, yeah. I turned off the uh automatic lane control because I found that was always taking me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's bananas, yeah, yeah. The other problem, too, is I realize now is there's the tracks in the road, yeah, you know, from so many vehicles. My car don't like it.

SPEAKER_02

No, like yeah, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So like my I'm I'm like driving my car, and the car's yeah, yours is pretty low to the ground, isn't it? Like, what's going on? Yeah, it's real low to the ground, like six-inch clearance in the front. It's a race car, get over. We're gonna have a problem in the winter, it's gonna be like a plow. Yeah, for real, no joke. Like well, you'll see, like it'll be hard.

SPEAKER_00

Like, as soon as we get a bit of snow, like it'll be harder to move your car through.

SPEAKER_01

Like, you yeah, I'm a little concerned.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, a little concerned. Like the old focus that I had, the focus that got bought from you or whatever, like that was a bit lower to the ground, too. And in the wintertime, like as soon as the plow would come by in front of our driveway, I couldn't get into the driveway. I'd have to like park on the road, go get the shovel, clean it all off. Yeah, I'm gonna this one here, the HRB, I can get I can get to it. Yeah, because you've got the high bumper.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't really realize till a little while ago when I got the car back for me and fixed them like, oh, that is really low. And I haven't scraped on anything or whatever.

SPEAKER_00

That'd be your biggest thing. Like when you come home, like after if you if you you get you you're out teaching for the day, you come home, the plow's gone by, and you're you know, your mom's not going out to shovel the driveway, right? So if that's sitting out there blocked still, you're gonna have to park on the side.

Low Cars, Snow Plows, And Winter Tires

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know how she gets in and out on her own, but anyway, she must have somebody must come by and shovel for her, right? Uh yeah, that's okay. So in saying that, my uh uh my car guy, I guess the swim of the car, gets a hold of me, goes, Hey, listen, he says, I know you ordered those tires, uh, the winter tires, but he goes, he says, I got a line on another set uh that are way cheaper. Okay, and he says, A guy bought them, he says he didn't use them, then he bought a different car and they don't fit his car. And he's now he's stuck with four brand new uh Michelin winter tires. And I go, Okay. And he goes, I checked, they fix your car. He goes, You want them? I said, Yeah, I said, uh, wait a minute, how much? He goes, Oh, the guy wants 800. I said, Done. Yeah, hang on to them. I said, uh that's pretty good. Yeah, I thought so. So now I got a pretty, you know, some but now for a good set of winter tires. I still have to wait to get in. Yeah, of course. Yeah, you know, because I and I also need uh service on that car, apparently. Yeah, yeah, whatever the whatever the it's an oil change or something. That's all it is.

SPEAKER_00

It's every so many kilometers or brand new cars, yeah. So many months or so many kilometers, they tell you to come in and change.

SPEAKER_01

So I told him I said, No, not doing both. I said, You get done the same day. He's like, Yeah, yeah. So I'd just let me know, right?

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, well, that that'll be you know, that'll be the the difference though. Like if they want to do more than just put your tires on the oil chain, it shouldn't take too long, but that might push you out further because right now, man, it's it's crazy trying to get in. Like it took me about a month to get my line in just for the tires, right?

SPEAKER_01

So he said, but I'm like, well, yeah, but it doesn't help. Yeah, right. But anyway, so driving again coming here is uh just bananas, and I'll give you an example again. Um, I'm coming up off Joseph Howe, going out to the highway to take that raid, right? You know, yeah, yeah. So I come up, and you know, I I have to yield because there's uh you know, this it's a highway, right? Yeah, so I see that if I yield, I'm gonna be in trouble, right? So, you know, give a little bit of gas. So I get in front of this guy and he pulls in behind me and I'm like, okay, it's fine, he knew what was up. So then, as soon as we get up a little further, he pulls out and pulls in front of me, right? And I'm like, oh, okay, he wants to turn, I guess. And then he keeps going straight and I turn off. Why did you do that? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

He's just he was just he's just mad you got in front of him, probably the first way exactly.

SPEAKER_01

What are you doing? Like, why did you do that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that makes no sense.

SPEAKER_01

That's not the first there's so many times somebody has to it happened to me the other day when I was leaving in the morning.

SPEAKER_00

Just passes you, then gets in front of you and goes to the streets. And then turns. Yeah, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, what, what, what? Yeah, like just mind blowing. I'm like, the level of stupidity is just, I just don't. I think people are just nobody gives a shit. They just want to get through the going, they don't care how or what's going, or even paying attention to what's around them. Like, not even paying attention. Must pass, must pass, must pass, right? Oh, yeah. It's crazy. Welcome back to driving, buddy. Yeah, yeah. It's uh, it's yeah, it's just anyway. I I I didn't drive the highway today, I drove the old way. Uh oh, down the Bedford Highway, yeah. I drove the old way in, you know, so I could drive a little bit slower just to see what it was like. But I mean it's not that slow, really. You know, you get on the highway in the rain and stuff, people are slow down to 80. Yeah. You drive the Bedford Highway, it's 60, people are driving 80 anyway. Yeah, yeah. So it doesn't matter. Yeah. Right? So that's about right. Yeah, I know. It's just crazy. Yeah. Oh well, anyway. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh uh, so Super Mario. We were laughing about this off camera because uh I'm gonna try to say this fella's oh right, yeah, yeah. Right. So if you don't know if you're this uh video games person from the 90s, Nintendo, yeah, Super Mario, the guy that invented that just passed away at uh 69 years old. This is young, which is young, right? And his name was Kazuki Motoyama. I'm pretty sure that's how you say it. If it's not, I apologize, but that's him. We're just giving a little bit of props. I think everybody played Mario at some point.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right. Oh, gotcha, yeah. You know, so that was the big game. Ours, the very first one.

SPEAKER_01

Well, yeah, because that was the only time he actually had a really good game. He didn't have to go anywhere.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, sit there with the Nintendo, and how many times you do those levels that were, you know, you had to jump up uh onto the block and then jump down and avoid the like swinging iron. Remember those?

SPEAKER_01

Like anyway, it was yeah, those are the coolest games ever came out so anyway.

SPEAKER_00

I beat it, I remember beating it. It took a long time, but I remember beating it. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What was it? What was the game or the movie? Pixels with Adam Sandler and uh his buddy there, Kevin James. Yeah, I didn't see it. Yeah, Kevin James was the president of the United States. Oh, was he? Yeah, and uh, and uh Adam Sandler was like working for like nerds or us or whatever in sewing television. And then somehow, you know, things from space came down, and they had to, he was the video game guy back in the day. And okay, they had to bring him out of retirement, he beat the game, centipede. Yeah, I watched it, it was like okay, well, yeah, yeah, right. They had Cubert in it and a whole bunch of other things. Okay, interesting. Yeah, it was crazy, yeah. But yeah, so in that he was like the the the guru back in the day, like 12 at the arcade, playing the games and win the you know, best of the best kind of thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Arcades, yeah. Yeah, those are the days, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Arcades.

SPEAKER_00

So I remember the game they had at the theater up home, and you'd go to the movie an hour early just so you could get on this, and it was um uh. Remember that one?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, right. Two on two. Everybody waiting the police.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. These crazy dunks from the three-point line. Like, yeah, that was that was a fun game, man. I remember we played hours, dropped a lot of money because it was like a quarter every time, right? The old days, yes. That's probably a dollar now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it must be actually I don't think it's money you're going to buy tokens. You probably go buy tokens.

Highway Chaos And Driver Pet Peeves

SPEAKER_00

I know, like a lot of the like palladium places like that, you buy the tokens and then you put the tokens in there. Yeah, I guess that's what it is.

SPEAKER_01

It's never been myself, but I know the nieces and nephews have been there, so I've never been to the palladium spot, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

The palladium used to be a bar, wasn't it, at some point? Is there a bar called the Palladium? Sure of it. Maybe not here, but I've heard it. I have no idea. Yeah, maybe it was in a movie. Yeah, yeah, who knows? Uh, did you see that the uh the US stopped the mint of the penny? No, no, you were telling me uh when I read it, I thought it was the stupidest thing ever, first and foremost. And like, it just shows the government just like wasting money. So in order to make one penny, it costs four pennies. Right. Huh?

SPEAKER_00

When did Canada stop making the penny? I can't remember what year that was.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know, but it sure screwed up Walmart's pricing.

SPEAKER_00

Right? Well, everything's still like$3.93 or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's not$4. Once you get taxes, it's like$8.25.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's true too. That's true too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you know, the guy showed me my price in my car, I'm like, that's decent. Then he showed me the real price. Like, well, hang on. What happened to the other price?

SPEAKER_00

I think I told you in New Zealand I liked it because the the tax is already built into the price. So the price, the price shown was what you paid, right?

SPEAKER_01

Now in the Middle East it was like that, but there was really no taxes, it was just one price. That's it. Right. You know, so yeah, that's what you pay. Like if you go to buy a car, there's no haggling. Yeah, yeah. It's$36,995. Yeah, yeah. And people will tell you it's$36,995. That's right. And that's it. That's what's the deal? That's the deal. That is the deal. Okay, sorry, yeah, yeah. So yeah, but you know, there's no headache, I guess. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, four cents to cut make make one. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so they're saving 50 at 54 roughly a million dollars a year.

SPEAKER_00

Crazy.

SPEAKER_01

The government's just throwing money away in the US.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I wonder what he's paying. Oh, by the way, I just read, you probably saw it too, that the uh the government's back working, sorry, working, yeah, yeah. Yeah, right? Yeah, yeah. So it's the US government, yeah, yeah. They finally said, fine, you win. Yeah, and then Trump won, I guess, and then everybody went back to work. I don't know. I don't even know the whole story. That's why we don't talk about it, because we we're not we don't have that kind of time to read into all that big can't follow it. So, whatever, but it was just like the only thing I kept saying is the people that actually need the job, the lower end, is there such a thing as a lower end government worker? Lower end government worker? Wow, yeah, I don't know what they made, but I'm just saying like they didn't get a paycheck.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How many people can go with a month? Was it a month?

SPEAKER_00

It was 40, 40 some days. Okay, more than a month, yeah, depending on how you do math without a paycheck.

SPEAKER_01

That's gonna hurt a lot of people, right? Yeah, that's the way I looked at it. Like, wow, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Oh god, there I mean that's people were struggling. That's probably why at the end they just they said we gotta get this back.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I mean, let's be honest, like big business knows when they put somebody on a strike, you know what you're gonna do.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right?

SPEAKER_01

You know, sooner or later you're gonna have to say, okay, fine, we no, but that that was it, though.

SPEAKER_00

It's like not everybody has like a bunch of savings that they can live off for a month while they're waiting for the next paycheck.

SPEAKER_01

What they what are they what's the like the common sense saying is like have enough for six months or something, or like make sure you have your contingency fund or whatever. Yeah, and that's not even enough, is it? And COVID proved that.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's okay, well, you definitely got a budget. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, when I saw that thing I was talking about, I saw another thing dropped into my algorithm that was talking about these scammers. Uh, not the one you're just thinking, but like they they asked for a grant to help feed like children, and they got like 12 million dollars over so many years, and they fed like 40 kids.

SPEAKER_02

Jesus, man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm like, you pieces of human garbage. Like you said you were gonna help kids and you took the money and then they like they had a number, said they've only fed 40 kids. Like they had a number, right? You know, it's like it's like what California does with all the money for the homeless, right? They can't solve the problem because then they don't have a job.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Right? So they're like, we're working on it. Yeah, oh well, you know, I must said a while back, like at least a year ago, he goes, The Newsom, he goes, How much does it cost uh uh cost to solve the homeless problem? Newsom goes,$47 billion. Elon goes, fine, I'll pay for it. Give me a receipt, show me what what the breakdown is.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was the end of that conversation. Just like that. Just like that. Government. Uh anyway. Stupid US government. Well, all governments are stupid, Mike, let's be honest, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's uh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, let's look at it this way. If you're feeling unlucky, remember Ron Wayne. Remember this guy? Ron Wayne for Apple. No. Ron Wayne, ladies and gentlemen, if you're having a bad day, listen to this story from Bobby D. Ron Wayne was a guy who worked for Apple. He had 10% in the company's stocks. He sold it for$800.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He must have needed money, I understand.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If he kept money, Mike, it's worth$350 billion with the B, sir.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Huh? And that guy's still alive. I would have hung myself.

SPEAKER_00

He must have he he must have made a decision that he didn't think it was gonna that it was gonna keep going anywhere, right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Can you imagine? Maybe he thought with$350 billion. It's not just your generation, it's like the next 10 generations of your family. Right. Anybody around you, if you're a church going person, you can help the church, you can help California's California's homeless problem. You can go be homeless with them, whatever you want, right? You know, I'm just saying, like, holy that's so much money, man.

SPEAKER_00

It is that's a tough one, right? Like, I guess it's uh at the time when he makes the decision, he thinks he's making the right decision, right? Yeah, like I was uh you know if they ever talk, like what was his reasoning? They must be he must have given, he must have somebody probably like, well, I wanted an umrell shake. Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like yeah, who knows? Like, you might probably hard up for money.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe, right? Or maybe, like I said, maybe he just thought, shit, I feel like this is gonna go the opposite way. I better get out now while I can still make some money, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You probably should always stay away from business for the rest of your life, right?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's like I was telling you the story about the fella that uh you know had the the cryptocurrency on his on his like encrypted drive or whatever. And I I don't know if he like threw it out on purpose. I can't remember the whole story, but crypto, when crypto went through the roof, like it's you know, he has millions and millions, if not billions. Oh, you think it's billions?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that he's got and he can't get it because it's sitting in the hard drive in a landfill somewhere in UK, I think.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right. Yeah, bananas. So again, imagine that, right? Like, realize like shit, like I threw that out in the garbage.

Mario Memories, Arcades, And Pixels

SPEAKER_01

Well, the Mr. Mr. Beast, uh, his story is you know, he got famous, bought a nice house, bought a bunch of nice stuff, somebody robs him, comes in, takes all the stuff, laptop, all his gear, and then right beside his laptop is the uh cryptocurrency password. They didn't take that. So he goes into his phone or whatever and types the whole thing in. All of his money was still there. Oh wow. He goes, You stupid American guys. He goes, You were this cloak, like literally right there. I had it taped. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, what the with the what stuff over it, so you couldn't smear it or whatever. Yeah, yeah. And he goes, they didn't even take it. Crazy. He goes, So what do I care? And then I remember I think uh on the podcast he was saying that he was on, he goes, and then the guy goes, What did you do? Then he goes, I just went and bought a shitty house, don't tell anybody where I lived. Yeah, he's like, I bought a bunch of nice stuff and prick stole it sounded right away. Found him right away, right?

SPEAKER_00

So anyway, yeah, wasn't there a stretch there? Uh just recently where like a bunch of NBA players were getting robbed.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I read something about that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But and it was an organized thing, like they were like, they knew when the guy was in the room, they knew when you're out of town, of course. Yeah, right. Crazy, eh? That's pretty easy to do, really. Yeah, you know. But oh well. Yeah, like stealing, like you know, like the the jewelry and things like that. Worth a shitload of money, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, NBA players. Well, that's I any professional athlete. Any professional athlete. You bought a couple of pieces, it's probably worth at least half a million. Yeah, not to mention whatever you bought your your nice lady, you know, because nice jewelry and bags are not cheap. No, yeah. Yeah, these guys like what a scam though, right? I know, right? All right, he's playing in Portland this weekend. Well, we got two days to clean the house out, fellas.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, great. Let's go have a party one night and take what we can do.

SPEAKER_01

We know, right? Take the rest of it later on, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So uh anyway. So I think most of them have like must have maybe not, but you'd think they most of them would have like some sort of home security system.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, they're pit bull.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, maybe, right? Rocco.

SPEAKER_01

Not only that, you would think they would have a safe. Yeah, you know, and and your passer wouldn't be Louvre.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right?

SPEAKER_00

What team do you play for? Pelicans. Let's try that and try that. Oh my god, it worked.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, there's there's another problem, the Peloton. Anyway, okay, we'll get the basketball. Okay, yeah. Okay, we're we're we're we're warming up a little bit first. We got talking about AI. Saying I saw I was telling Mike that I saw Bill Clinton and uh Uncle Donnie Trump making out like ferociously. Just like I'm gonna throw up. Yeah, it looks so real, man. It's so not good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what I told you. I don't know what to know what to believe anymore when you're watching, like when you're looking at something on if it seems too too uh is it too real to be what is it too too good to be true, then it's probably not, right?

SPEAKER_01

Like it's probably but I mean like if you're smart about it, you don't have to go that far. You can go like in between and go, what the did he do that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Did he do what?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right. Right?

SPEAKER_01

Like I saw okay, I saw one today. Woodpecker. Woodpecker, like cool looking woodpecker, red crested, you know, this we know birds, let it go. So so we get nothing else to do. Ornithologist. Yeah so uh uh what I don't know, yeah. So anyway, so the the bird the woodpecker's back in, there's a squirrel in the hole. The squirrel sticks his head out, he looks at the woodpecker, and pulls a revolver and shoots.

SPEAKER_00

Oh Jesus, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What? In that cartoon, it wasn't Woody, right?

SPEAKER_00

It wasn't Woody Woodpecker, but I've seen the ones that look like they're trail cams and it's the animal and like cut starts coming up to the trail cam and all of a sudden it's dog from finger to finger. It's like so good. I've seen a couple of those. Yeah, yeah. It's just like I know, right? AI. Anyway, yeah, yeah, it's it's crazy, it's scary. I mean, with the right software, I think you can do some pretty crazy things.

SPEAKER_01

Well, yeah, and then they I I read again that they said that uh AI is gonna have more millionaires than what the internet made.

SPEAKER_00

I saw that, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I'm like, well, if you know how to use it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but maybe that's AI telling you that.

SPEAKER_01

Good, yeah. That's a good point. That's a good point. Yeah.

unknown

Hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Look at you thinking outside the box.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, eh? Wow. Anything. Don't believe anything anymore. Yeah, well, that's the that's just it, right? Don't believe what we're telling you. Oh, it's certainly not.

SPEAKER_01

But well, yeah, but it's some things. Do your own research. Bottom line, do your own research. Yeah, yeah. Right? Our tech guy is not that bright. No, he's not. That's why you pay him next to nothing. We don't trust anything he does. Yeah, his only fans saying it's not going well. Oh, Jerry's. I mean Borat, yeah. Yeah, he's like, do your own thing, buddy. Do your own thing. So back in our day, Limp Biscuit. Remember old Freddie Durst? Yeah, yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, they had a concert. They're apparently they're doing a reunion tour or some shit. I don't know. Limp biscuit is gonna be what? Well, his biscuit would be limp at this point. He's in the 60s. When they were they were what late 90s, early 2000s when they were real popular. Yeah, so 25 years ago, she's at least 50. Yeah, oh at least, yeah, at least, yeah. So his biscuit is limp for sure. I'm almost 50. Well, all I remember is their their album chocolate star fish. I'm like, what? Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah. So anyway, uh we're not talking about your IQ, by the way. I know you're almost up to the 50. Good for you. You finally get over that. Ments is coming for you. It's coming. It's coming. Wherever. Yeah, don't eat the crayons. They're not jelly beans. Yeah. What were we talking about? Yeah, red biscuit. So, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Estonia has canceled their tour. Yeah. So they were gonna go to Estonia. Why are you going to Estonia? I don't know in the first place. It's a real place. So they canceled the tour because 20 years ago or something, Fred Durst said that he'd like Putin. Oh, yeah. And so Estonia's like, nope, you can't like Putin to come here, so they canceled that. I'm like, yeah, okay, those seven people are gonna be really angry.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right? Or sorry, eight, maybe Putin's gonna show up. Yeah, right. But anyway. Yeah. All right. So basketball. Too bad for Limp Biscuit, I guess. Too bad for his limp biscuits. That's it. Yeah. I used to like him. I uh some of his tunes I still use for the gym. Yeah, I remember the shit or break stuff.

SPEAKER_00

The Undertaker came out to one of their songs, right? Oh, did he?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there you go. So yeah, good old friends. Yeah, Eminem made fun of him for a couple of things, too. Yeah, I remember him being in the videos in the front row with Britney Spears and Christine Aguilera. Telling about who he's first. Yeah. Good old Eminem. Well, anyway. Alright, so our friend Nico. Oh god. He's a friend of nobody. Certainly not ours. But you know, they finally got rid of Nico Harrison. If you don't know who that is, you probably live under a rock. Yeah. He's the or was the uh he's the guy that traded Luca. Yeah, he's the guy. GM, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, of the mass.

SPEAKER_01

He is no longer employed. I believe he's looking for a job at uh Krusty Burger.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think anybody's gonna take a chance on him just yet. He's kind of he's gonna be sitting around for a while with his$300 million salary. He's uh what do they call that when somebody is like a considered like poison, I guess, to the team. Like because you know, he traded away Luca. I'm sure, hey, I don't know if he's been at his job or not. He made a bad choice, right?

SPEAKER_01

And because Dallas isn't doing well, they're making it look real bad now. Oh, yeah, they're making it look real bad.

SPEAKER_00

We talked about this, like Dallas also doesn't have Kari or no, everybody's hurt, yeah. And Clay is shooting like 10%.

Pennies, Taxes, And Government Waste

SPEAKER_01

It looked great on paper, like yeah, you know, but yeah, so bye-bye him. I mean, obviously that's good for somebody else that's gonna open up the city. Did you see?

SPEAKER_00

I think it was like maybe it was the night before. And uh the night before he was fired? Yeah, and the crowd says it's out of game, and the crowd, maybe two nights before, whatever. The crowd's chanting, fire Nico, like they do on a regular basis. Yeah, that's right. And then the camera shows Nico and he's sitting there, and then there it's the the the owner of the the mav sitting there like a couple rows in front, and there's a kid beside the owner wearing a Lakers, Luca Lakers jersey. Yeah, so yeah. I don't know if they're ever gonna get over that, man, that they traded away a generational talent, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so young, so yeah, like yeah, stupid, right? They just anyway. I mean, okay, so Lakers fan watching the Lakers. He's not passing the ball, Mike. No good. Yeah, it's a problem. This is the same thing that happened in Dallas. Yeah. So you get to the end of the game, and it's a hot potato, you throw it to your buddy, clang, and you go, why do you make a score? Well, because I haven't had the ball in 11 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

It's still they're still, yeah, so it's they're still doing well, aren't they? They're still they are, they are. I know they lost a couple of they lost to Atlanta on this road trip, and then they got blown out by the thunder. Yeah, I know they just beat the box. I can't remember who else they beat, but anyway, they're like you know, up and down, right? As they've been going here. Yeah, and you're right, like at the games that they're winning, Aiton's putting up like 24 and 12, and and and Reeves is you know putting up 20 some or 30 points or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're gonna give props to Aitons straight up right now. Keep doing what you're doing, son. Very impressed. Keep doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's I think he's I think he's the same. I think he's hit or miss, right? Some one game he'll go out and he'll put up 24 and 12. The next game he'll go out and put up like six and eight or something.

SPEAKER_01

He's gotta be a double-double every night.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, gotta be.

SPEAKER_01

But I hope somebody's talking to him, and you know, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Right. What did Shaq? I saw Shaq say the other day, something about not about him, but about like Carl Anthony Towns, and it maybe think you know, you'd want maybe not as much from Ayton, but you want something similar. Like Shaq said, Towns needs to give me six points a quarter. Okay, that's 24 points a game, right? Yeah, that's not you know, that's that's a good way to look at it. Yeah, look at it like that. Yeah, like A can give you, you know, like five points a give you four or five points a quarter.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, he's seven feet tall. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, maybe.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, with eight and you want the rebounds, obviously. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_00

I think that's the other thing with the Lakers right now. I think their defense is not very good. Well, that's it's yeah. And like Lucas Pylon. Luca got better, but he's he's not a great defender. Well, now he's a moving pilot. Austin Reeves is not a great defender, I don't believe. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

Like I said, I called Luca Pylon. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Now he's a skinny moving pilot. Yeah, they got they picked up uh Marcus Smart, who's that's what he's known for, right? Defense? Yeah, but he's not even in the mix. No, you know, well, I see him out there, but he's not, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's not who he was. I don't know. Is he mad?

SPEAKER_00

What's up? I was putting wrong. That was a few years ago, right? That he was you know playing with Boston. And I mean, he's still a pretty good defendative player, defensive player, but he's not he's not gonna be putting up like double digit points a game or nothing like that. No, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

That's not what he's there for.

SPEAKER_00

He's there for the strength guy, rebound tough.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Did you see Draymond trying to defend Wimby? Oh, yeah, and the point where he like spun on him and dunked on him. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, and then throw it down and screamed at him.

SPEAKER_00

I was like, well, if you watch, like leading up to it, like Draymond's like really bodying him up and trying to like really like get after him get after him, right?

SPEAKER_01

And he's he's like in here. And he's like, What? Wimby gets down underneath him.

SPEAKER_00

I saw the the I saw a video, it was a different angle than the one that was shown. Somebody must have been filming it from the stands or whatever, and it was like straight on looking like at the camera, I guess. And then so it's Draymond right there, like body and body and body up Wemby, and then Wemby spins in like just the rage he catches over. Yeah, it was kind of crazy, right?

SPEAKER_01

There's nothing you can do.

SPEAKER_00

No, like Draymond played that really well, played it really aggressive, played it really well.

SPEAKER_01

Like, yeah, real aggressive, they let it go. Yeah, they let it go, they let it go, but yeah, they need to scream it. I'm like, Yeah, you're right, son. There's there's no way you can defend it. I mean, I've seen more than one play right now, more than one, where a guy gets the ball, he goes down under the net, and he knows Wimby's coming, he just throws it right back out. Yeah, he doesn't even try to put it up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because Wimby just, you know, it's just gonna just smother it. That game against Golden State, he he played really well. Like it's funny because it showed one, it showed Steph coming down, uh, scores a high arc and layup off the glass over top of Wamby. Oh, the yeah, the Wambi does it. And then Wamby comes down the other end and hits a three. Yeah. And it's like it's like, but it shouldn't it be the opposite? Shouldn't Wemby be the one, you know, anyways. Like I thought that was funny as well. Like, just yeah, the talent of Wemby man. He's gonna be good.

SPEAKER_01

I like the comment when you were saying about when uh Oklahoma blew out uh uh the Warriors, and then the Warriors. Well who haven't they blown up?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, like it was after the after the win against San Antonio, they were talking to Steph, and you know, uh I can't remember who asked the question, but anyway, they said how you know what's your mindset coming in after coming off a loss like that against against them. 20 some points. Let me just throw this out there, whatever he was who hasn't gotten blown up by Oklahoma City so far this year, right? Yeah, sir.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so Oklahoma, they're scary 13 and one. Wait a minute, didn't they lose their first game?

SPEAKER_00

No, no, they won that. That was I think they played at home, they got their rings that night. They did win that game, but I think they they won, they lost early on, so they probably won like eight, ten in a row, whatever it is now, right?

SPEAKER_01

Well, okay, so we're gonna go to bias basketball for a minute. So, watching sports center today, it's Canadian, you know, with uh Jay on right in front of these guys there, right? So we're like, oh the Raptors. So the Raptors first, yeah. Yeah, so here we got going on, and that they won four in a row, and oh, things are looking good because we're playing the lowest, yeah, we're playing the lowest four teams in the division now, and now you know the Raptors probably. I'm like, that's how we're looking at it, which is kind of crazy, right?

SPEAKER_00

Because the Raptors, you know, that one year they won. That was a fun year, but almost every year the Raptors are playing like middle of the pack, maybe an eight-seed at the best. Yeah, maybe a play-in team.

SPEAKER_01

Like you're talking about it now, yeah. They're 12 games in.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's come on, you know, the poor Raptors. Yeah, so they're beating some, you know, and and they've got uh they've got like some decent players, but they don't have like Brandon Ingram's their best player right now, right?

Scams, Strikes, And Broken Systems

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but I mean I just don't know, like as an announcer, I don't know, maybe somebody's writing that for them, maybe, you know, announcers can't speak freely all the time, or or sports casters that are doing the you know, 19 sports thing or whatever, but to say, oh, we're looking good, we're gonna play the four shittiest teams, like it shouldn't matter who you're playing. It shouldn't matter, right? Like, yeah, just I just pick up on stuff.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna get a few wins, which are gonna mean nothing. Oh, speaking of stupid. That's all. Yeah, yeah. One up from the worst. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, I saw the worst commercial on TV for pregnancy I've ever seen. Yeah, this one of this. So now I was thinking of my head, wow. So it shows a girl. So basically, the the advertisement is for a new kind of um stick that shows four different kinds of positive or negative. Okay. So we can't be, you know, it's one ninety nine point nine nine five pi to the seven sure. Yeah. So anyway, so you know the girl has a stick in her hand and it goes, not pregnant. She's like, yeah. I'm like, time out. Right away in my head, he's a good cheap. Right away in my head, I went, why would you go that way with that commercial? Why wouldn't you go this way? Okay, you know, you check it, the wife or whatever, or the it has to be wife, two genders. Wife checks the stick. Sure. She's pregnant. Yeah, it's a big family thing. Everybody's happy, show the kid, you know. But they chose to go the other way with that commercial.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Why would you do that? Why would you go the negative route? When you could go to positive and everybody like, oh wow, look at that. Like this one they went, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I guess it's how you like maybe it is it a positive because the I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

She didn't want to be pregnant, and so it's like, yeah, I mean, you know, I mean she looks 16 maybe, but 18, I don't know, but yeah, it's just like when I watched this one, why what? Why would you go that route? Like that's the first thing.

SPEAKER_00

It seems that you would think that they would do want to show somebody being happy about it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, not negative. Right, exactly. Yeah, that's that's I was like, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, let's try a different angle. Let's do it so that the person that doesn't let me be breaking up.

SPEAKER_01

Some weird ass commercials on TV, bro. Some weird shit over here. Now, keep in mind that when I was in Malaysia, they're all in Bahasa, Malaysia, and I don't know the language that well. So those commercials might be stupid too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_01

Because I don't know what they are.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right. Fair enough, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But every once in a while you get a Colgate commercial where they're like this yeah, eat Colgate. It's good to brush your teeth. Yeah, right. Okay. I just laugh, right? It feels like a Chinese girl with a white white accent. And she's not talking, it's the white girl that's probably AI, yeah. It's horrible. Yeah, horrible. But anyway, yeah, pretty funny.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So where else are we the NBA? Oh, it's uh high scores still scoring through the roof because there's no defense.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Steph just had back-to-back 40, what 46 and 49.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, isn't that their ages of the two?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's a man staff. He's scoring his age now. Yeah, you gotta give Steph his props, right? He's making it still score. Is he 36, 35, 36, and still he's still probably one of the best in the league. It's still the best shooter, like crazy what he does, right?

SPEAKER_01

He wouldn't be as good a shooter if he didn't work so hard off the ball. Because people don't realize how far he runs. He runs like the frontest of Hindi brothers. Oh, that's the thing.

SPEAKER_00

You're saying that's what they've been talking about a lot lately, is how much he's been you know, like how he tires people out.

SPEAKER_01

You know, see how far he hurts how many stats. Well, I'm gonna get stats, but yeah, it's like it's kilometers.

SPEAKER_00

He said he's been hearing that for so long in his career, like how the guys are like, I'm so so tired of chasing you around all night, right?

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's you know, that's what that's what gets you, right? Yeah. Oh, uh uh, so we'll end on UFC today. So last night was the big fights. Uh Islam Markachev fought uh Dela Go what the hell his name is Dela Melana, but I can't even say his name. Doesn't matter. I'm like, why are you fighting him? Domination. Islam Markachev now has two belts. Oh yeah. Jack Dela Maldova, I think his name is. Sorry, Jack, we'll put it right here. Um I don't know why he said yes to that fight. As soon as I read that Islam's gonna fight, I'm like, well, there goes his belt. He he's only been champ for one, like he won the belt and I mean he lost the belt.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

That's the end of your money, son.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You didn't even get to have like your big money fight. Like, what? Yeah, this guy beat the shit out of him. Jesus, eh? The fight's 25 minutes, he held him down for 19 minutes. Oh god, yeah. It's a boring fight. I didn't watch the whole thing, but you knew it was gonna happen.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

Crypto Fumbles, Robberies, And Safes

SPEAKER_01

And then afterwards it says, uh, Dela Della Milena needs to come back and worked on his wrestling for another 10 years. No shit. Anyone from Dagestane is going to hold you down forever. Yeah, yeah. And if you can't get up, listen, it takes a lot for a grown man to hold another grown man down, and it's embarrassing. Yeah, yeah. It was bad. And then so they were obviously expecting it to be a boring. Oh, boring fight. Yeah, I wouldn't even have paid for that one. Yeah, yeah. No, I wouldn't. And then the other fight was uh what's her name? Valentin, uh Valentina Shachenko against Whaley. Whaley is a like stocky brute of a chick from China. Figured she could go up a class. No, did not go well. No, yeah, get the shit beat out of her, too. Yeah, so yeah. Valentina, good on you, Russian chick. She loves Joe Rogan. Okay, yeah, I think if Joe Rogan wasn't married, she'd be all up in Joe Rogan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Joe Joe, he's shooting archer. He's a real man, he's a real man. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you come get me, Joe. I give you. Yeah, Valentina's awesome. She's got like a tattoo of a gun, like in her waistband. Like, she's hardcore, man. Oh, yeah. She's hardcore, but yeah, anyway, Russian. Yeah, yeah. Sure. Yeah. So yeah, UFC, there you go. So there it was. Yeah? And then they banned a donkey for life because he had a fight in the stands. So he was an ex-fighter. That happened last time. Yeah, you got he always gets he's trying to get clicks and ticks. Oh, of course, yeah, yeah. Right, so yeah, so now they ban him for life from any UFC event now. Oh, tell me. Like, well, you're an idiot. Yeah, you did what you wanted to do, you wanted to get seen. Now you can't get seen. Now you can't get seen. Yeah, yeah, now you gotta back to teaching uh jujitsu to train monkeys, yeah, yeah. Or whatever it was, right? Yeah, yeah, right. I don't know, but yeah, so much for that. All right, so uh yeah, we're supposed to tell you to uh click what is it again? Click notifications, yeah, subscribe, and click the thumbs up, not this one, click this one. By the way, we could see when you do this because we see the numbers and they send them to us. By the way, there's not very many of these, there's way more of these. That's good. Yeah, yeah. Uh somebody made fun of us, though. If I can't remember what it was, I'd have to read it again. But somebody made fun of us, I just ignored it. Yeah, I think it's funny. That's all right, man. I don't care.

SPEAKER_00

You don't have to be for everybody.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and we're not trying to be, that's the whole thing. We're not trying to fit into any whatever. This key don't fit this locker. That's it. Right?

Yeah, yeah.
