YOU WOOD THINK?
Politics, Protests, And Playbooks
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Headlines were loud this week, but the details were louder once we dug in. We open with the Minnesota learning center saga—daycares billing the government with no kids in sight—and follow how an online investigator named Kyle surfaced receipts, footage, and questions that bigger outlets sidestepped until the story exploded. It’s a case study in how fraud hides in plain sight and how internet sleuths can jump-start real accountability when institutions blink.
From there we get into a fatal police shooting that split public opinion along camera angles. We watched different cuts and initially disagreed, then aligned after seeing more evidence: blocking roads provokes bad outcomes, but pulling the trigger—multiple times—failed the test of necessity. The rhetoric whipped up fast: terrorist labels, defense narratives, and the familiar rush to extremes that ends honest debate. Most people aren’t radicals; they’re just not reading the same sources. If trust is the goal, the method has to be more video, less vibe.
The geopolitics segment zooms out to Iran’s protest risks, Venezuela’s headline magnetism, and Greenland’s strategic gravity. We talk resource logic, bases, and the “look here, not there” tactic that floods your feed and thins your focus. Whether you see a coordinated distraction or a chaotic news cycle, the result is the same: outrage fatigue and shallow takes. We make the case for slower reading, connecting facts across weeks, and resisting the dopamine hit of the hottest clip.
Basketball fans get a full plate: Trae Young’s defense dilemma, Giannis stuffing LeBron in crunch time and signing jerseys, Ja Morant’s talent vs. turbulence debate, and veteran futures like Chris Paul’s buyout calculus. We revisit GOAT talk with context—Jordan’s supporting cast mattered, Pippen’s two-way greatness gets too little credit—and dig into why longevity is a skill. Think ligaments over highlights, boring routines over big narratives, and the Steph Curry ankle blueprint that quietly saved a career.
Subscribe if you’re into sharp takes without the shouting, share this with a friend who loves both geopolitics and hoops, and drop a review telling us which story deserves a deeper dive next week.

Cold Open And Banter
SPEAKER_03You and I disagree on things. Like I said, you and I don't disagree much, but we disagree on things, but we never actually like decide that we're gonna not talk to each other anymore or we're gonna get into a fist fight or anything. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Well, we should go, we should go get our dueling pistols. That's right. Yeah, let's get our dueling pistols. Have the gloves? Yeah, that's right. Slap people with the white glove in the face.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you sir, have offended me.
Show Intro And Cast Roll Call
Minnesota Learning Center Scandal
SPEAKER_01People don't know this, but we used to have stocks in the Somalian Learning Centers. Hey everybody, welcome back to you would think with uh Uncle Coach Bobby and Frankie D. Frankie D. And in the background, we got uh two black cats and a Iranian tech dude. That's right, Mr. Bardi. All right, so we're gonna start where somebody has hurt mine and Mike's pockets. Now, people don't know this not my pockets, people don't know this, but we used to have stocks in the Somalian Learning Centers, but we did not know that they weren't learning centers. We just found this out. So if you don't know, the the news got broken by this internet sleuth named Kyle. And uh yeah, and uh Kyle's been on some of the podcasts now explaining things about what he found. So basically, what it is these Minnesota Somalian learning centers have been getting money from the government to say they're learning centers or daycares, and there's no kids, Mike. There's they went to all these places, there's zero kids. You can't join up when you ask, they get angry, and then a lot of dudes come and start being very, very mad.
SPEAKER_03Sorry, the camera's shaking right now because the cat is deciding to yeah.
SPEAKER_01So anyway, so yeah, so that was the big thing, and then you're like, well, you didn't hear about the shooting.
SPEAKER_03I didn't well, I didn't hear about I didn't hear about the Somalia or anything.
Internet Sleuth Kyle’s Findings
Shooting Debate And Media Angles
SPEAKER_01So the reason I know most about that is because I just so happened to watch this podcast, and this dude was on. Yeah, yeah. He was telling all the things, and I'm like, wow. Which if it's true, is crazy, right? Well, it's true, they've they've proven it, it's true. Then it's gotta be crazy, right? So the the the fellow Tim Tim Waltz.
SPEAKER_03So I he was so he was the guy that ran for vice president with Kamala Harris, right?
SPEAKER_01Right, and they didn't even know where he came from. Yeah, Tampa, yeah, whatever he's called. Yeah, and then uh yeah, so now he was gonna run again. Now he stepped down from running. I knew he decided he was gonna.
SPEAKER_03I didn't so I didn't hear about this. I just knew he decided that he was wasn't gonna run for re-election.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's why he's on the hook for this one. Crazy. But yeah, on top of that, Minnesota's a shitstorm anyway, right? Oh, because uh you want to talk about the well, I don't know, I don't really want to talk about it.
SPEAKER_03You and I tried not to talk about this stuff on our podcast, but it's we have to.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna do some politics stuff today, everybody. We apologize, and you know, it is what it is. We have to. It's in the feed, everybody's talking about it. We're just gonna give our little spiel.
SPEAKER_03This and you know, you know, Bobby D and I don't usually disagree on too many things, and we kind of we we watch the videos and we we actually differ disagree on that.
SPEAKER_01But here's the thing see, they tried to fuck us because it depends what video you watch. That is true, and it depends what angle you watch. So we watch different videos at different angles, and I told Mike this is well, I didn't see that. He's an I didn't see that. Okay, son of a bitch. Yeah, so once again, you know, once you see the videos, here's the thing at the end of the day, two things. Oh, I'll go.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Number one, lady, you shouldn't be blocking ice, okay. Number one, like you're just looking to get in trouble, get arrested, and have a record.
SPEAKER_03First of all, knowing knowing how aggressive and how direct it is, psychopathy and these problems, right? You know, you know, it's it's a it's a crazy situation. Uh, I think that, yeah, I think I don't I don't agree that she brought this on herself. Uh I think that she put herself in a situation. Uh I don't think she brought it on and she should be shot in the face related things, but that but that's where I was going with this. Like, this is the one thing we agree on. Shooting is not shooting, yeah.
SPEAKER_01To a woman.
SPEAKER_03You saw the you saw the things. You've seen all the experts come up. This guy walked in front of the vehicle.
SPEAKER_01Which you should never do. She should never have done a protocol, you never do that.
Excessive Force And Narratives
SPEAKER_03Not only discharged his weapon once at her, but then he did it two more times afterwards. Like it's just he shot her in the head. He shot yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's like what for for what again? I'm sorry, what did she do, Mark? For blocking the road.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. You listen, you listen to the you listen to the narrative coming out of the the government. Oh, yeah, that's right. Go ahead. Ran this man over to the point that he had to go to the hospital. There's nothing that I've seen in the video that says one, he was run over, and two, that he had to go to the hospital. He was walking away.
SPEAKER_01I'm not even sure if the car actually hit him. Well, this is so this is every video I've seen. It looks like maybe a little bit.
SPEAKER_03There's yeah, but nothing serious. The way his leg goes back. Yeah. But I don't know if he's if he's pulling his leg away from the car or if it actually hits. Either way.
SPEAKER_01The one that I saw, they said. Printer wheel to the right was trying to get it. It hits him and he pulls away at the same time. And they're like, either way, it didn't really hurt him. No. You know, but still, don't try to run over a nice officer or block anything, you know, or police or anybody for that matter. But uh the gunner down like that's pretty crazy. That's pretty crazy, man. And so shade kids? She kids? Dead wife?
SPEAKER_03She had a wife, three kids, I think. Three kids. I don't know how many kids I know. You know, it's uh it's a horrible situation.
SPEAKER_01And her wife was right there, saw the whole thing.
SPEAKER_03And uh I can't believe, you know, like as it like everything else, it's gonna get politicized. Or it is, but I can't believe the narrative that's coming out that this guy that's that saying that she's a domestic terrorist and this guy, you know, was defending his and his and the other officers' lives. If the other officers felt threatened, why weren't their guns out, right? Anyway, it's we try not to get into it too deep, folks. Uh, but it's uh you cannot not talk about it right now.
SPEAKER_01All the wording people use. If you don't like what they do, all of a sudden you're a Nazi, you're an Islamophobe, you're a homophobe. Like the 99% of the people aren't anything, they just disagree. Yeah, like they're not nothing's wrong. So this whole thing with the spiel and nobody, this is why nobody believes anybody anymore.
SPEAKER_04No, right?
Labels, Extremes, And Media Framing
SPEAKER_01Because it's you're you're you're loaded with these, with these hot takes, with the with the what's the word I'm looking for, Mike? With these stupid words that shouldn't ever be used. Like they should be used in serious instances, like you know, Hitler and the in and the ding-dongs. You can't just randomly say, oh, you're a Nazi because you do, or you're a Nazi because you don't get along. Are you kidding me? Yeah, didn't didn't didn't Trudeau call everybody Nazis in the trucker rally? Uh isn't that another word they use? Oh, yeah, because one guy had a Nazi flag, some psychopath. Oh, look at the Nazis. Yeah, no, it's like not less than one percent of fools.
SPEAKER_03But I think I remember when you were lived overseas, you had told me that uh, you know, that the way that some of these countries were portrayed, and it like, you know, obviously you understand it, but yeah, they only ever show the extremists. Yeah, so then you just automatically start to assume that everybody is like that, right? And that's the narrative that gets pushed is that they're all like this. Same with how they say protesters are all violent, and then they show you like five different people looting, yeah, and then they want to like want to paint the colour. Same five every time. Yeah, and they want to paint it as if everybody's doing this, and it's not the case, right?
SPEAKER_01You remember Gandhi protested too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so so I guess really at the end of the day, media is just as culpable in a lot of this stuff because of the way that they the narratives that they want to do.
SPEAKER_01They're the ones that make the problems, yeah. Right, and and uh amplified.
SPEAKER_03I know that they're trying, well, some of them do. They're you know, they they they're meant to like report on the facts and stuff, but the moment you put any sort of like narrative into it that you're trying to push, it sways people's opinions, and you create these charged environments that people are now living in where just conversations, debate, whatever. You're allowed to disagree, man. Fuck we you and I disagree on things. Like I said, you and I don't disagree much, but we disagree on things, but we never actually like decide that we're gonna not talk to each other anymore or we're gonna get into a fist fight or anything, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Well, we should go we should go get our dueling pistols. That's right. Yeah, just get our dueling pistols. You have the gloves? Yeah, that's right.
SPEAKER_02Slap people with the white gloves in the face. Yeah, you sir, have offended me.
SPEAKER_00What is that from? That sounds like uh Monty Python or something. Strawberries. It's only a flesh wound. Tis but a flesh wound. He's his arms gone.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, Monty Python, that's weird stuff. But yeah, yeah. So anyway, so yeah, the whole Somalian Learning Center thing, that's blown up too. There's memes everywhere, right? Yeah, okay. So the joke was it was easier to catch Maderna. Um Maduro. It was easier to catch Maduro than to find a child in a Somalian daycare. It's true, there's none. So what happened? Uh if you don't know people, I could sum it up for you. I was just lucky and ended up watching this podcast this morning early. Uh and him being on it, I had no idea who he was. I didn't even know until I watched the show.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
Protest Optics And Public Perception
SPEAKER_01And he goes, listen, he goes, I was in deep on this, and he saw me interviewing, they showed a couple of clips. And then he goes, a journalist from Minnesota sent me all his info. Yeah, and he goes, Nobody will touch this. You're the internet sleuth, go for it. And then he went for it and it broke wide open, and now it's everywhere, and everybody's digging into it, and it's all over the internet. And uh even on my uh Instagram, I put uh somebody send me something, and it's like uh, you know how you get stickers for honor rolls? Sure. It says, uh, my keys, K-E-E-D-S, are enrolled, you did at the the learning spelt all incorrectly. Yeah, yeah. Right, and then it has a phone number. And the oh yeah, and this lady was interviewing this kid, Kyle. And they go, Well, how do you know it's not working? He goes, Watch. And he calls the phone number. This number is not in service. And he's like, It's right there, we're looking at the place, and there's a guy in the window, yeah, like looking out. Yeah, he goes, I this lady seemed to be a plant to me that was interviewing her. Oh, right, you're saying that. Because they tried to find out who it was and she's gone. Because she goes, You're sure you're ready. He goes, I'm a hundred percent. And it turns out he is. I know, right?
Venezuela, Greenland, And Power Plays
SPEAKER_03Well, that's why I came. You came in today, you said it's all over the news. I said, I'm gonna tell you, I haven't, I sat here, I listened to a bunch of things, I've read a bunch of things. All I see is the Minnesota shooting, the uh uh protests in Iran, uh, and the uh you know, the like the you know, the Venezuela situation and all like the follow-on with that with Colombia, with like Greenland, with all these other other places now that are being threatened of well, okay.
SPEAKER_01So we never really talk about Uncle Donnie, so we'll Orange County we'll talk about him for a minute now, too. So he wants Greenland.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And he's like, Well, if we get Greenland, we got a straight shot to Putin, just in case. Yeah, okay, and now the Greenland uh is the president. Uh I apologize if it's not. President says, Well, I'll sit down and talk to you, but you're not getting Greenland, Donnie. Like, you know, so and remember what Donnie said for the longest time. They all said resource.
SPEAKER_03Resource.
SPEAKER_01You want the natural resources.
SPEAKER_03Well, they they they're they they frame it as a it's a defend uh the key defensive position.
SPEAKER_01Oh, it is for sure. But I mean they're not what do you what are you gonna do? Go to war with Greenland?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, to so that you can wait, wait, really? Well, that's the thing, is that they've got like the largest military base, I think, in the north is in Greenland, and it's the US base, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01So I believe so.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So why do you need to own it then? I don't know, man.
SPEAKER_01Trump's got to put his name on it. He's got his name on everything else in New York. He does, yeah. Right, might as well have uh Green Trump or Trump like.
SPEAKER_03Well, I know the Kennedy Arts Center or whatever it's called, like is but now the Trump Kennedy Arts Center or whatever, right? Oh yeah, he renamed that one too. Oh, I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, when when we knew him just as a business.
SPEAKER_03Just so you know, we've said his name probably about four times. We're now not never we're not allowed in the states for the next three years.
SPEAKER_01Probably not. Probably not. That's gonna be a problem. Yeah, but yeah, uh, yeah. I mean, uh he like for the longest time he wanted his name on stuff, you know, to show how much he did and to show his dad's. And and in gold, and in gold, too, right? But yeah, yeah. Uh well, whatever. So we'll see what happens. So uh you were talking about Iran, and I said, Well, I kind of missed some of that stuff a little bit because I was uh they're protesting or whatever, right?
SPEAKER_03Like the you know, the the horrible conditions that they're living under underneath there, and I think their dollar value is like really plummeting, blah blah blah. Whatever's going on over there, they're protesting it right now. Trump's come out and said, you know, they have a right to protest. In Iran, they have a right to protest, and in the US, they're not allowed to protest because they're a bunch of athletes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but you know what happens when you protest in Iran, you get killed.
SPEAKER_03Right. If you shoot, if you kill these protesters, we're gonna intervene. And so that that rhetoric is now kind of uh being amplified here as well, right?
Iran Protests And Geopolitics
SPEAKER_01Well, one of the last protests in Iran that I recall was really prominent because they killed an Olympic gold medalist. Like there was a gold medalist, uh wrestler, and he was protesting, and they killed him to show everybody else it doesn't matter who you are, we're gonna take your life. What? Yeah, Iran's crazy, man. Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's probably one of the reasons why our tech guy is not in Iran right now.
SPEAKER_03But it you know, like that's Iranian for real. The typical playbook out of there is it's a western, it's being amplified by Western influences, right? Like it's not actuals. They're trying, oh white go bad. Yeah, um super cash, not being anyway. Not uh it's not Iranians, it's western people coming in playing. It's the same, you know, same playbook that's dude.
SPEAKER_01Go to the go to the internet and go look look in the 60s and early 70s of Iran and Israel and look how cool it is there.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Everybody's dressed cool, everybody's having a good time. It just looks like a lovely place, and all of a sudden, just like yeah, right. Unbelievable. Yeah, unbelievable.
SPEAKER_03So it's a crazy time, man, right now, right? So well, wait a minute.
SPEAKER_01You know, what are we gonna go down there with straws and get the Venezuelan oil? Is that the idea now? Because uh Uncle Donnie wants to spread the wealth around to the Venezuelan people. Well, now keep in mind this, everybody, if you're not following. Even though they went down and found Maduro. Maduro, I mean we keep saying Maderno, and I don't know why. Uh Maduro, they went down what is Moderno?
SPEAKER_03Is that uh it's a brand, is it?
SPEAKER_01I think Maderna's like a kind of pharmaceutical.
SPEAKER_03Is it okay? There you go. That's what I was saying.
SPEAKER_01They probably did something bad, that's why I remember sure allegedly. Uh so yeah, but uh uh for for this, they're saying that like 99.9% of family wants is like, thank you. Yeah, this guy was a POS. Like, thanks, now we can live our life again.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's what you know. Part of the legal requirement, part of the legal thing is that they say he's not a formally recognized leader, right?
SPEAKER_01Isn't CIA the only people that can go into another country and do something?
SPEAKER_03Like they're not they're technically not allowed to go into another country and do something, they just do.
SPEAKER_01Well, they have you know embassies and stuff that the CIA work out of. But yeah, I'm like, doesn't okay, you know, because he's a bad guy, I guess it's okay.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's so that's no rules that he's a bad guy. They did bomb to get him, right? Yeah, they did. And they got him, but anyway, it's um, you know, they haven't done anything since. They said they're not gonna go back in because the new the new administration.
SPEAKER_01Well, they got his wife and him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so I said it's like, are they cutting some sort of yeah, are they cutting some sort of backroom deal because she uh yeah, yeah, well, he will not sit still, I bet. That's all right.
SPEAKER_01It's all right, but yeah, it's uh it's pretty crazy to be honest. Yeah, we're just gonna have to, you know, watch the little kitties there. We got our whole camera set up, and if he starts knocking on the tripod, they're they've gone up with a little trouble, yeah. So it's like if that goes down, yeah, all right. Anyway, the fun, uh anybody anybody that has kittens, you know, and they're kittens, that's exactly it, right? Nine weeks old. Nine weeks, and they're they're hilarious. We can't wait till they get older. Yeah, but uh what else do we have for uh down there? We had uh we talked about Iran. You wanted we do we decided we were gonna talk a little bit of politics today because it's such a big thing everywhere.
Distraction Theory And Information Overload
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's why when you told me about the Somalia thing, they said, What's it, you know, it's the top of the news. And I said, I all I've heard about is the the Minnesota, Iran, and and Venezuela, right? And so Venezuela like ties into the Greenland stuff, and it ties into I think he's also oh, that's right. We were gonna talk about how the latest thing, and you didn't you hadn't heard this, was that he said we've stopped however many percentages, like 90 some percent of like uh drugs coming into the US through through through the sea. Now we're gonna go uh over land and we're gonna start going after the cartels. And Mexico said, no, we don't want you coming in here, so it'll be interesting to see what happens there.
SPEAKER_01Well, on top of that, our friend Ryan Wedding. We keep talking about this guy who was a uh Olympic uh level snowboarder and now is like the kingpin of the whatever cocaine dealer. So they they caught one of his right hand men.
SPEAKER_03Oh, did they?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, I saw white guy. They got him right. He's not saying a word, he just said straight up, I ain't saying nothing. Right? Yeah, uh Mike is hemorrhoids, it's fine. Yeah, yeah. Reparation H buddy. Yeah, but uh yeah, so they they I read a little bit about too deep on it, but you know, we're talking about Mexico and stuff. So yeah, they got one of the guys who're closing in, yeah, they're closing in. You know, that Ryan Wedding's probably sitting out here in prospect on the lake hanging out going.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's what I told you last time when they talked to one of those uh you know informants or whatever, not informants, but like a member of the one of the one of the cartels or the gangs down there and said, He's you know, he doesn't have the the clout, he's not. There's just he's just somebody that whenever it's convenient, they're gonna come forward and say, Hey, look, we caught him or whatever, right? It's hey, listen, the Epstein files started getting released, and all of a sudden all this other shit starts going on. Are they talking about the Epstein files right now? Not really, right?
SPEAKER_01Well, a CIA guy was on uh what's it called? Show there, and he goes straight up, he goes, Venezuela's to make you look here, something else is going on, pay attention. He didn't say I didn't get the whole thing, I didn't see what he was talking about. But he goes, Venezuela's just for you to look here. He goes, We're doing other stuff. I'm like, okay.
SPEAKER_03So that's one of the things that if you actually look at this, this this administration and the one from the last time he was in it's just throw things at you, so you just can't too much going on. You just can't pay attention to what is happening. It even happened to us. Yeah, there's so much going on you can't focus on one thing, and so like you said, it's like pay attention over here, over here, watch what my right hand's doing, but don't look at my left hand right now, right?
NBA Trade Rumors And Player Legacies
SPEAKER_01Well, you shouldn't look at either one of my hands what I'm doing, but yeah, but yeah, you're it's like a magician, yeah. You know, exactly David Copperfield, David Blaine. Ooh, look at that. Slight hand, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Just saying, just saying. But uh, you know, speaking of sleight of hand, oh, I feel bad for a boy Trey Young. I don't feel bad for him. Yeah, how many millions you got? You son of a yeah. Here's the thing, though, right? Like, you know, Trey Young, people don't know this probably. If you're a basketball fan.
SPEAKER_03So let's stop it for one second. Okay, the last podcast we talked about before all this went down. We talked about how wasn't playing defense. We wasn't playing defense, and about how they were saying, like without them, they were like 15 and 11 with them.
SPEAKER_01And we don't know shit. We know before you know, Stephen A. Right? We got people, nobody will talk to you. I can give me one phone call. You know who's gonna call me? You know who. Yeah, so anyway, thanks, Shaq. Now that's right. I I shop at his Walmart, okay? Let it go.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. Keep showing up in hopes that he'll buy me something.
SPEAKER_01I just want to bike.
SPEAKER_03I need a new bike, I just want a bike.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, take a shame. I'm like, no. Right. So anyway, so Trey Young, poor guy, okay? So people don't know this. Uh-oh. Yeah, we're watching him on a tightrope. So people don't know this. Trey Young and Luka Doncic were swapped on trade day.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Remember they swapped hacks.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So, you know, look at Luka Doncic now. And look at Trey Young. Trey Young has gone to the Wizards.
SPEAKER_03Almost a year apart that they're they were traded too.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, almost a year apart, too. But gone to the Wizards. Uh, the Wizards are in 14th. Uh, Atlanta was in ninth at the time. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Basically, remember when I wrote, uh oh, when I wrote you, I said Trey Young will never play in the playoffs again.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right? Because there was no way the Wizards are coming up.
SPEAKER_03However, you know what though? Like San Antonio came up. Oh, you know, did they ever? If they get a young team. They need it, yeah. You know, and Washington does have a young team. However, wait, wait, wait. We'll see. But Trey that Trey's young lack of defense is not going. Play defense. Yes. His lack of defense is not going to change.
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah. And when you're a smaller player, you better play D, bro. Like, you just same old story, Mike. You just keep switching to you get what you need. That's and it's over. Yeah. That's it.
SPEAKER_03But the other thing is, is like that, that's fine. But if you know, if he doesn't, if he doesn't, he doesn't have a lot of lateral quickness either, right?
SPEAKER_01No, what is with that? I don't ever understand that either.
SPEAKER_03Which is crazy because these guys are they can get out with the ball and they can you know dribble circles around people, but on defense they have zero, they don't have any good lateral movement, right? It's kind of crazy. It's listen. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But okay, so back to uh Anthony Street Close Davis. All right. Why are we talking about him? Briefly, here's why. Apparently, well, he's hurt. He's always hurt. He's always hurt. But apparently. Atlanta's looking at him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you were saying that. Atlanta worked at that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So, and on top of that, we'll go with the other one. Giannis, who uh made LeBron look real bad in his age. Oh, yeah. The other day. Right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah, he blocked him and then stole the ball from him.
Giannis, LeBron, And The Jersey Swap
SPEAKER_01He stole the ball, and then LeBron basically walked off the court with the loss. But uh Giannis uh said he's not going anywhere. People say, Oh, he's being traded. And he's like, No, I'm not going anywhere. Yeah. And then we asked him why. And he said, Well, I get 17 brothers that have to come up and play for uh Milwaukee. That's right. So yeah, he wants to get his whole family, he's got a couple of cousins. It's a package deal. It's a package deal. You get everybody. I heard his mom's making burgers for the team, and uh he's got a younger sister that's doing the laundry. So yeah, the whole family's in, you know. But uh good on him, right? And uh the joke was the the the jersey swapping, yeah. Well that's what I saw. I thought that's good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. So after the game, like Giannis had asked LeBron for for the jersey, and LeBron gave him a signed jersey and they swapped jerseys or whatever. But I'm I heard that uh and whether it's true or not, but if it isn't good on the internet. If it is, well, it's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_01Pretty funny.
SPEAKER_03Uh Bronny and Thanis. Thanis? Is that his name? Anyway, well, whoever the Bronny and the young one of the younger brothers like swap jerseys as well. The one that always gets made fun of as well for only being on the team because he's Giannis's brother. Yeah, yeah. He better be able to cook. So that was funny. I thought that was pretty cool.
SPEAKER_01Well, here's the thing, though. You just said I didn't see that. He signed it.
SPEAKER_03LeBron signed it, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I wonder if he's leaving this year because he's signing a lot of stuff. I saw him signing a bunch of stuff.
SPEAKER_03Well, they said uh he's never signed.
SPEAKER_01If you don't know, LeBron doesn't sign shit.
SPEAKER_03So here's one thing, too, that they said um What do you know? That Giannis hadn't played LeBron in the regular season. Well, probably, I guess. They hadn't played together, they hadn't played against each other head on since 2022. So like that's four years. Almost four years, yeah. Yeah. Since they last played. Yeah, it's crazy, right? It is crazy. Yeah, so anyway, so that's uh a long time since they played each other. So anyway, that game, Luca fouls out. LeBron, hey buddy.
SPEAKER_01LeBron, uh yeah, Luca fouled out, yeah. We got we got no Austin Reeve still out. No Austin Reeves, no Richie.
SPEAKER_03Or no, not Richie, uh uh Ruy. Rui Hachamara, Hachimara, yeah. And then on and Reeves, so LeBron's like, okay, well, I'm gonna go win this game. And he goes at Giannis. Giannis blocks him. Next time down the court, Giannis pokes the ball away from behind, seals the game, right? So brutal. LeBron must have walked away, been like, you know what?
SPEAKER_01Dude, that was the worst walker.
SPEAKER_03Even three, four years ago, I would have been able to like score on him, right? Anyway.
SPEAKER_01Oh well. Yeah.
Ja Morant, Culture, And Team Tension
SPEAKER_03But yeah, like if it's his last year, Giannis said, hey man, like, you know, if it is, you you know, you you want to go out. He's still he's still one of he's still, you know, like still top of the line, still great. Like, um, well, you know, when you go against the greats, they kind of like bring out the best in you, you know. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01And there you go. Both of them, if you can see them. Yeah, are they gonna fight? Well, either that or they're gonna. Oh no, he's gonna fight for sure. Yeah, they're gonna fight. Yeah. So Giannis, what are you gonna do, right? I know. Oh my god. Now, let's uh let's let's hit this one too. John Moron, or uh sorry, Morant. Yeah, yeah, right? Yeah, Memphis. I mean, he's he's playing okay. When he plays. Yeah. Uh we're thinking he's gonna be traded February 5th.
SPEAKER_03Well, they I think I saw a story. I did see a story. Yeah, he they actually said they're open, they're open, right?
SPEAKER_01So like But who's gonna want this jackass?
SPEAKER_03Well, that's it, right? So they said um what did they say? They said uh he got suspended somewhere, I can't remember when, where they said for well, like the the one time the when he got suspended a little a little bit ago where they said, you know, conduct detrimental to the team.
SPEAKER_01Oh, the one where he said, uh you want to win or no.
SPEAKER_03So I think that like kind of created more tension with him and the and not just like the not just management, but also with his own teammates and stuff like that. So and his teammates they they get tired of it, man. Like, you know, people get tired of all the antics, right? You're you're there, you're paid all this money, you're supposed to be your suit their superstar, and they're you know, like you are meant to lead the way, and you know, if you're that much of an idiot.
SPEAKER_01He is a superstar, he's just a super idiot.
SPEAKER_03He's a super, yeah, that's right. Yeah, sorry.
SPEAKER_01Like he's he's both, which is a giant problem. Yeah, yeah. Right?
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know. I I hope it works out. Go go somewhere where you can do good things and maybe take the poison out of Memphis, because that Memphis has been a pretty good team.
SPEAKER_03But maybe he just needs a reset, right? You know what I mean? Like same with Dylan Brooks, all that shit happened in the playoffs. He talked all that shit, like cost him that series, essentially.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, sure.
SPEAKER_03And uh and he was gone. And look at him now, he's thriving in Houston, like yeah, yeah, yeah. He's actually not Houston, sorry.
SPEAKER_01Uh well, I know where you meant. Uh Phoenix. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03He went to Houston last year.
SPEAKER_01Well, speaking uh you said that I knew right away you're wrong because I just saw him and Steven Adams. Yeah, did you see that? Uh Dylan given the oh look, and Steven just turned around and went, Really? Yeah. And then he just said, Oh, okay. He's gonna walk away. Like Steven Adams is such a such a humble dude and just so stoic. Steven Adams is not somebody I'd mess around with. No, man. I think he just picked you up and slam you for fun. Yeah, right? He'd just go, You okay, bro?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there's still that video. I have to go. I can't remember who it was.
SPEAKER_01They were kind of when he picked him up, he picked him up and just scared him away. So strong. Okay.
SPEAKER_03These are like 200 and some pound men that he's just picked up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and he's a wild man, right? You know, so yeah, poor John Morant.
SPEAKER_03Poor John Morant. Poor John Morant, but at the same time, like not really. You're an idiot. Like you deserve what you get, right? Like he's got so much talent, man, but he's just he's just how old is he?
SPEAKER_0124, 25, maybe?
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, he's gotta be early to mid-20s. Like, yeah, mid-20s.
Veteran Futures: Chris Paul And Buyouts
SPEAKER_01Maybe at the most. One year is usually.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And he's been in the league. Well, him and Zion came in that same year. So three, four years they've been in the league now. So yeah, 20, 24, 25, I imagine then. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's in his prime. Yeah. In his prime. And still won't go in the dunk contest.
SPEAKER_03Which is crazy, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You know, people would like you more if you did that, you know that, right?
SPEAKER_03Him, him, imagine if they actually got him and Zion in the dunk contest.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, why isn't Zion? Well, Zion's always hurt, I guess.
SPEAKER_03It's true, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, we always wanted to see him in the dunk contest. Have we seen him ever?
SPEAKER_03No, he's uh I think I think you're right. I think he's been hurt the whole time.
SPEAKER_01Every time. Instead, we get uh our buddy Maddie. Good old Maddie McClung, the little five foot eight white guy, wherever he's wherever he's doing now. D League, G League, picked up signed in Indiana.
SPEAKER_03He's like, Finally, you get a contract, and it lasts all like two games or whatever. Poor fella.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I saw him down the YMCA. He was giving blood and sperm. Yeah, so yeah, he's gonna make some money. Poor guy. Yeah, yeah. I like that guy too. He's not bad, he really isn't. No, he's not a bad player.
SPEAKER_03You know, for a white dude that's short, I think that's jump out of the gym.
SPEAKER_01I couldn't.
SPEAKER_03Which is crazy because we just well, I guess it's just that's the thing. We just talked about Trey Young being being a small, small guy that can't really defend. Uh, but the guy can score like no tomorrow and he can pass. He led the league in assists last year, right?
SPEAKER_01So I forgot about that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, hey, bud.
SPEAKER_01I forgot about that. Hey, buddy. Yeah, yeah, well, okay. Sorry, Trey, but still play defense. Play defense. Look, it's coming back to bite everybody in the ass. It is. Yeah. Uh the head dude, I'm not gonna say his name because I didn't like him anyway, but the head dude from Dallas said, you know, well, defense wins championships. Yeah, bye-bye, Lukey. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, defense does win championships, but so does staying healthy.
GOAT Talk, Superteams, And Pippen Respect
SPEAKER_01So does scoring 150 points a game, which everybody seems to be doing for some reason. I know, right? Yeah, unbelievable, it's ridiculous. But yeah, so our our boy Chris Paul, I asked you before we came on on set. Uh on set, yeah, whatever. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I said, shut up. That's right. Yeah, yeah, he's smoky. So we haven't heard anything. No, I haven't. We assume they sent him home. Yeah. Well, they sent him home, and that's why I said they're like, Chris playing in the backyard. He's just shooting hoobs in the backyard, working on his free.
SPEAKER_03So he's still getting he's getting paid right now.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he's getting paid.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, they haven't they didn't waive him. Yeah, no, they didn't wave him. So I think so. I was like, okay, well, like I had to go look it up. I was like, well, what actually happened? Well, nothing. There's there's apparently it's complicated, like, but uh because he just signed with the team this year, they couldn't trade him until a certain time. But that time has passed now. I think he's eligible to be traded. Thing is, nobody's nobody's putting any packages together.
SPEAKER_01Well, and like I said, that thing is the trade lines uh deadline's coming up February 5th.
SPEAKER_03So people are holding out, going, let's hold on. And they know that they obviously know LA wants to get rid of them.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03So they're not they're not like gonna be like, hey, get rid of them.
SPEAKER_01They told him straight up, get it leave us alone.
SPEAKER_03Here's a bag of used basketball.
SPEAKER_01When's yeah, right?
SPEAKER_03Like in a quart of milk. And a quart of milk, yeah.
SPEAKER_01When's the last time you heard a top-level player like that go go away? Ever?
SPEAKER_03Uh well, happened to Carmelo Anthony, remember?
SPEAKER_01Like he oh well same kind of thing.
SPEAKER_03It was like uh nobody was picking him up for a little while, like it's then the Lakers kind of look at him and whatever. Yeah, well, these guys get to this stage in their career where they're still they can still contribute, but but they gotta come off the bench. There's there's certain they they there's certain things that they're gonna do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what I thought he was one of the greatest singers anyway.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, no, they haven't, so they haven't traded him because they're waiting. I think they're just seeing like teams are probably waiting to be like, do we need to get away? I don't think anybody's gonna take him. He's not gonna play.
SPEAKER_01He won't be playing. Yeah, he's injured, it's over, he's 38. Chris Fox.
SPEAKER_03Is he I didn't think he was injured.
SPEAKER_01Well, wasn't that one of the reasons why he was sitting out at the beginning? He was hurt.
SPEAKER_03Uh could be wrong on that. It could be wrong. I don't know. I just didn't think he was getting much playing time with the two.
SPEAKER_01But like I said, Van Gundy and him just no way, bro.
SPEAKER_03But that's just it. Like, I mean, you know, the guys, you know, when he was in San Antonio last year, he had a very diminished role, and obviously with the Clippers this year, so he's he's not somebody that's gonna come in. But you look at the um the bubble year where the L Lakers won and Rondo came in and like Rondo came off the bench.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and did his job.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but like come playoff time, like Rondo's a winner.
SPEAKER_01You know, he is a winner, thank you.
SPEAKER_03Chris Paul, no matter what, is a winner, winner, right? Like uh he's never won the big show, but he is a winner, which is too bad, man. Yeah, uh you know, you know, some team might pick him up, back up point guard, give him some playoff minutes.
SPEAKER_01You know what though? I just heard uh who the hell said well if he gets waived, somebody's definitely gonna pick him up on the biggest. Yeah, if he gets waived, yeah. If he gets waived. No, somebody just badmouth LeBron. Uh big a big wig, like a big name player that's not playing anymore. Oh, yeah. I can't recall who it was. I'm so sorry. It doesn't matter, but he said this, he's just like, LeBron shouldn't even be in the talk. This is in this, I went, hmm, listen.
SPEAKER_03Talk for what?
SPEAKER_01The greatest of all time. Oh, and he goes, here's why. He goes, LeBron would have never won any championships if he didn't go to a super team. This is what the guy said. Okay, I'm not agreeing with that.
Player Health, Injuries, And Longevity
SPEAKER_03I'm just saying this is what he said, which is fair, but again, I'm a Jordan guy. We always talk about this. Jordan did not win a championship until Horace Grant and Scotty were all stars. He, you know, they didn't win 72 games until they had Rodman and Pippen with him. Like he didn't have to play. Well, I wouldn't this is my problem.
SPEAKER_01Correct. Yeah. That Bulls team wasn't just Jordan. No, that was a real good team.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03So and this is why Pippen gets up, gets mad sometimes when the narrative is always about people forget how good Pippen is one of the top 50 players of all time, right?
SPEAKER_01I was just ready to say, I will take Scotty Pippen to start Rodman. Well, there's another, I'll take that guy too. He marries himself. Great. So Annie's good friends with Kim Jung. Everybody loves that guy, you know, North Korean rocket man.
SPEAKER_04Zorg.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, yeah. Played golf, 18 holes, 18 shots. Yeah. Pretty good, right? Pretty good. Not bad. Nobody's gonna go against him. Yeah. Uh wow, we went way off. How do we get to North Korea on that one? I don't know how you look at that. Where were we there? Uh oh, Broadman. You're talking about LeBron. Pippen. Okay, hang on. Yeah. I would take Scottie Pippen over 99% of the players in the NBA today. He does not get the accolades at all. That man. Michael Jordan doesn't win if there's no Scottie Pippen.
SPEAKER_03And Michael Jordan has flat out said that. I don't win. Okay, there you go. Thanks. Thanks.
SPEAKER_01Mike's no.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, there you go. People like, who's Scottie Pippen? Really? Go watch the man. The problem I have with it is he got all that shit because he had to take that money. You probably know the story, right? He was worried that he wasn't going to get paid well. So he took little money because he got care of his family. Only to take care of his family. He was never paid what he was worth. It was shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, back then, like I think Alonzo Morning signed. Was it Alonzo Morning? Somebody signed like a$120 million deal over 10 years. 10 years. Big deal. Steph makes that in an hour. But like Scotty, Scotty's deal was a big at the time, was a good deal, but then as the league kind of kept uh getting better and more and more money was.
SPEAKER_01But people also wonder, I wondered myself back then, why did you take that? We didn't know because nobody talked back then. Then he goes, I had to for my family. Yeah. That's a stand-up guy, man, right there.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_03Took the sure money, right?
SPEAKER_01Took the sure money, the sure thing, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Which is crazy because that's what they talk about nowadays when guys are like, hey, these guys betting on themselves. Guaranteed money taking a one-year contract, betting on himself, and he can he can play his way into a better contract, right?
SPEAKER_01So yeah, but you know, I would also think that a lot of these fellows are kind of nervous because so many flipping injuries, Mike. I know, right? These guys are getting hurt. I mean, as a person who works in the field of exercise science or has for a long, long time, there are things you can do to mediate injuries and to take care of your body very well. I really want to know are these guys really doing that? There's gotta be there's gotta be like a pro where you have okay. Did you do your hour in the weight room? Yes, sir. But did you though? Did you do your stretches? Are you doing your yoga? Are you doing your bandwork?
SPEAKER_03But are you doing the like you know, like we talked about this before? I think not doing half-ass with Steph's ankle injury. Steph was like so prone to ankle injury. All of a sudden something changed. He obviously started doing the right thing.
SPEAKER_01What are we talking about? Was that off camera we were talking about?
Weather, Kittens, And Local Life
SPEAKER_03No, I think we talked about it a few episodes. Because I said the same thing.
SPEAKER_01I was like, okay, Steph Curry's career was over. His ankles were glass. They were glass. All of a sudden, there hasn't been an ankle injury in Steph. And I said something, someone needs to find out what doctor he went to.
SPEAKER_03I think he I think he also just started like working on the ligaments and all the Achilles and all the like the real stuff doing the not just going to the gym, okay. Today I'm gonna do three sets of this, three sets of that. No, they were doing that.
SPEAKER_01That's not what he needed to what they needed, right? Ankles are brutal, man. Yeah, but yeah, all of a sudden he's got no ankle problems. He's probably gone to those one of those California doctors where the girls get the new heads, you know, Kelly Osborne, the Kardashians with the new head. Right, he got new ankles. Yeah, yeah. So whose ankles were those? They were cankles. Maybe they were Adele's, and you got the thick ones put in at the bottom. Who knows, right? She's thinned out. Good on you, Adele. You can great, by the way. And the voice is still there. Crazy. Yeah, she's great. Oh, beautiful woman, too. Crazy. Call me. Not happening. I'm not allowed in the US. We just she engaged to Rich Paul. Is she? Yeah. Stupid Rich Paul get everything. This guy. At least his parents named it correctly, didn't they? That's right. Rich. Rich. Now, speaking of that, I just told you before we came on. I said, I saw uh uh on my Instagram feed come in, and it was uh our boy 50 Center Luce James. I know you're saying that whatever you want to call him, right? And he goes, LeBron badmouthed him about Diddy and the and then this is real, go look this up, people, and then shut up, and then this is real. So uh LeBron said something about oh, you know, 50 Cent you shouldn't have done that with shitty. And the 50 cent goes, You better shut your mouth, LeBron, because I'm working on a dock right now and it got nothing to do with basketball, and I'm burning you. I'm like, oh, what what does he know?
SPEAKER_03Well, 50's fit. I had told you like my response to that was 50's like riding high and all the all the attention he's getting from the Diddy thing, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he sure is. I just don't see how well we've tried to go at LeBron many times and I know, but yeah, we we personally do not know anything.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's I think that's I think that's on purpose. Yeah, nobody knows.
SPEAKER_01Nobody knows anything, so I want to know.
SPEAKER_03What does he know?
SPEAKER_01What does Curtis Jackson know? Yeah. That's what I want to know. That's 50 Cent if you didn't know people. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, we were just we were like, what would he talk? What would he talk about? What is it? Oh, I know what it is. Performance enhancing drugs.
SPEAKER_01Oh no. Well, okay, well, definitely. But but on top of that, uh Malcolm X's book, or was it? Remember the book LeBron carried around for like six years. One he never read. Sure. Maybe the truth is gonna come out. He's dyslexic. Maybe maybe he can't read. Yeah, I don't believe that. But I'm just I don't know what it could be.
SPEAKER_03He's a fucking he's a billionaire, man. Who cares if he can't read? Well, it's just a matter.
SPEAKER_01But I'm just thinking when he said that, I'm like, 50 Cent doesn't really blow smoke. He's usually pretty straightforward. So I'm like, is he just blowing it this time just to you know spin it a little more, or is there really something coming down the pipe? Um because the only person that's gonna be actually two people, actually, three people skip Bayless, Stephen A, and your brother will be the happiest three. But then LeBron goes under the bus.
Recap, Schedule, And Where To Listen
SPEAKER_03You know, it's kind of one of those things that it's uh I think you know, Isaiah came out and he said, um Which Isaiah, the old school? Isaiah Thomas came out and he was talking about the old one. Yeah, right. Yeah. And he came to the case. There's two if he didn't know people. So of course, like everybody's framing it as he just hates Jordan, he hates Jordan. But essentially what he was trying to say is he goes, I don't understand. He goes, Jordan can do no wrong. Nobody would ever say anything bad about Jordan. You know, because he gave you a pair of shoes, y'all like worship the ground he walks on.
SPEAKER_01Four tickets to the game.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, like you got LeBron out here who's done it, you know. I mean, you know, depending on what 50 Cent says, he's you know, but LeBron has done it right. He stayed out of the looks like it. He stayed out of trouble, he looks like it, you know, stayed with his family, da da da da. But he hadn't uh everybody just wants to bring him down a peg. It's crazy, right? Like how Jordan, nobody wanted to bring him down a peg. I got a picture of uh if you go back and you look look at the newspaper headlines, there was no internet back back when we were around. Like, you know, I'm they were they were writing shitty things about Jordan back then. But he just never got the actual traction that it can get nowadays with the online and the amount of people that actually hate LeBron is is ridiculous, right?
SPEAKER_01Which makes no sense. But didn't didn't they say that oh uh MJ walked away because he had such gambling debts? Well, that's what they said, but it's total bullshit.
SPEAKER_03That's what they tried to say. That's what they tried to say his dad passed and they framed him, and then all the conspiracy theories started.
SPEAKER_01No, and he said he went to baseball as an homage to his dad because he's you know, like read the right things, people. Stop listening to the internet trolls. Listen to us. You would think stop listening to the internet. We know exactly what we're talking about. Right. That's the only thing you need to know, right? That's right. So did we introduce it as you would think today? I don't even know what we said. Yeah, I don't even know. We had a lot going on today. Yeah. We got freezing rain here. It's not not good weather, it's pretty nasty.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, old Bobby D was puckered up for the drive, the whole drive.
SPEAKER_01Only for a brief time, and then it was just raining, then it was fine.
SPEAKER_03Actually, yeah, you got closer to the coast. The rain was.
SPEAKER_01Well, you're gonna laugh at this. This is the fastest I ever drove this road. Like today. Oh, wasn't it? Usually, you know, you drive the what it says, we're not saying, but I was above that the whole way. Yeah, and outside the roads are fine. And then every once a straightway I just hammer the brakes, like for real. Nothing. Yeah. Right. So just playing it safe, just seeing what that car works in. Yeah. But on on my street, like I was, but I was purposely trying to see you know what the car felt like when I was doing that, because I haven't driven the yeah, like when I drove my wife into work this morning, it you know, we left the house at like quarter after six or seven, whatever in the morning.
SPEAKER_03It was it was it was like freeze and rain out, but the roads weren't bad. Like I was telling you they're gonna be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_01Oh, well, now I mean I'm sure when you gotta go pick up the girlfriend, the will the girlfriend, yeah. The girlfriend, yeah. Yeah. Um problem is your wife's gonna watch this. And uh okay, so I'm gonna okay, correction, action. What we meant was when he goes back in to pick his wife back up, yeah. Uh the roads might be a little bit different at the time. Uh Mrs. Dugay, there is no girlfriend. I'm sorry. I apologize.
SPEAKER_03There's only one other girl in my life, and she's sitting right here.
SPEAKER_01I thought it was me. I think thanks, Michael. Okay, it's not me, apparently. Yeah, all right. So, yeah, and uh it is definitely right there, Nick's. But uh, those cats are fantastic.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they're fun, they're a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_01They're a lot of fun. So uh I think that's it for us today, ladies and gentlemen. We talked about Orange County, Venezuela, Trey Young, and all the Somalian listen, if you're if if you really want to get your kids enrolled into a good daycare, apparently Minneapolis has them. I guess Somalian daycares with no kids and there's no toys and there's nothing. Oh, and by the way, they're not just daycares, they're also like um uh uh name me, name me uh blue, like blue cross, right? So there's like in one building, there's like 10 different, or sorry, not even 10, like 20 different kinds of medical uh places, all competition. That doesn't happen. It's in one building right next to each other. Sure. So keep an eye on this. Uh uh the gentleman's name is Kyle. I don't know his last name. I just saw him today on the podcast, and he's the one that leaked all this stuff, and it's real, it's happening, it's there. And uh this is why we can't go to the US on vacation. Right. So it is what it is.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we we we said his name too many times on one podcast. We're good, we're screwed.
SPEAKER_01Which is probably the most we've ever said ever for Uncle Don.
SPEAKER_03On purpose. We try not to talk about this shit.
SPEAKER_01Which we're not very political people because we're really kind of stupid. So you know, we just we can't think straight. So it is what it is, right?
SPEAKER_03We just parrot what other people tell us.
SPEAKER_01Not really. No. We don't that's probably why we're right a lot of the times because we use our own intelligence to do it. But anyway, it is what it is. Yeah. Uh so uh by the way, it's happy new year to all the people that uh made it through. I know we're a little late, but I think we forgot to say it last time we were too enamored with the little your two new additions to the house there. But uh yeah, I'm sure everybody got through okay. We want to say hi to our friends up in Ontario, you know who. Uh, I'm sure you had a good time down to St. Lucia, right? Yeah, isn't that where you always go?
SPEAKER_03I think so, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, all other places, uh people go down to Florida and other things like that. Yep. And uh Cape Breton in the in the winter, nice, nice, yeah, beautiful place though. So, yeah, so we're out of snow, the rain has come, there's no more snow. Uh, yesterday it was nine degrees. Yep. Okay, yeah, you know, you could have worn shorts if you wanted to.
SPEAKER_03I told you it was the coldest December we've had, and now the start of January. We've been above it. Yeah, the weather's pretty crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, pretty crazy. But I'll take it any day of the week. I'll take this. Yeah, yeah, we're a hoodie, we're good.
SPEAKER_03This is this is fine, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, this is great. Yeah, I'm happy with that.
SPEAKER_03Well, we'll see how it goes, man. Like, yeah, yeah, we'll see. Yeah, see what happens.
SPEAKER_01All right, everybody. So uh once again, you can catch us on uh Buzz Sprout, Apple, Spotify for audio and video, and on my personal channel, uh Wow, muscle and fiction. Wow. SPEAKER_01Um, I will uh add this to that. Uh I'm getting some DMs, people want to be trained. Um, I live in Canada, okay? Right. So the people that are emailing me or DMing me from other places, I can help you, but I can't do it physically. I don't travel uh to those places, okay? So if you're here in Halifax area, I can help you if you're outside. I will do the best I can and charge you the applicable on that. Okay, so apologies to those people. All right. So uh once again, you know where to find us, and uh, we'll be here every week. Uh, one more thing you need to know though, we're only on Wednesdays, and we come out at Wednesdays at about 2 p.m. Oh, yeah, right. Okay, so we're on Wednesdays, 2 p.m. for all the sites. You'll see everything there, right? So, you know, uh they caught uh what's the Venezuelan president? I'm just having this, man. The Venezuelan president, they caught him, didn't catch anybody. Peace.
