Do you ever feel empty or wonder how God can use you right where you are? The good news is that we never outgrow our need for the Holy Spirit to move in our lives. In Week 5 of our Unleashed series, we explore how the Holy Spirit pours out Charismata—gifts of grace—to empower and equip every believer to build up the church and make disciples for Jesus.

When Jesus called His followers to share His gospel, He didn't send them out empty-handed. He promised to clothe them with power from on high. Discover why spiritual gifts aren't about spiritual status or natural talent, but about the power of God given to the people of God for the purposes of God.

Key Takeaways:

• Gifts of Grace: Spiritual gifts (Charismata) are unearned graces given by the Holy Spirit to strengthen His church, not badges of self-righteousness.
• A Holistic View: God gives diverse gifts—both practical and supernatural—because His family has diverse work to do.
• Power for the Purpose: We are not meant to work in isolation; the same Spirit unifies us as we work together for His kingdom.
• Spotting the Spirit: We recognize our gifts best when we encourage and affirm how the Holy Spirit is actively working through one another.

Scripture References:

• Luke 24:44–49
• 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
• Romans 12:6–8

Weekly Action Step: Take time this week to notice how the Holy Spirit is moving in someone around you—a family member, friend, or teammate. Reach out and encourage them directly by saying: "I see how the Holy Spirit is working through you!"
