The Corridor of a Life — A Story of Self-Worth, Healing, and Learning to See Through Love
How do we heal the quiet, persistent voice inside that tells us we aren't enough?
In this deeply personal and moving story written and narrated by host Jackie Vandertuin, we step into a sacred journey through the "corridor of a life." Passing into a luminous realm after death, a soul is invited to walk through a gallery of their own memories: from the breathtaking wonder of creation and early childhood trauma to the lingering weight of self-doubt, shame, and harsh self-judgment.
When met by their Creator at the end of the hall, they are given a single, life-altering invitation: "Walk it again... but this time, see it through the eyes of love."
In this short story, we explore:
- The Lenses We Wear: How internal self-loathing can distort our memories and make a beautiful life look broken.
- Healing the Inner Critic: Confronting the voices that told us we were "unlovable," "imperfect," or "not enough."
- Self-Love as Sacred Practice: Discovering why offering compassion to yourself is not an act of arrogance, but an act of deep reverence and gratitude for the miracle of your existence.
Whether you are navigating physical insecurities, past trauma, or the quiet fear that you aren't living up to your potential, this episode is a tender reminder to look at your story with softer eyes.
"To love yourself was not arrogance. It was gratitude. It was honouring the life you were given."
