Are bugs invading your home a random nuisance or a powerful wake-up call from your own energy field? This episode unpacks the weirdly specific connection between summertime infestations and your inner emotional environment. If you’ve ever spent weeks fighting off fruit flies, fungus gnats or any other bugs and wondered why none of the “solutions” work, you need to hear this story. Discover what every ant and fungus gnat is truly communicating, why your best cleaning hacks fall flat, and how changing your inner dialogue can change your physical reality almost instantly. What if the real solution is simpler and closer to home than you ever imagined?
Topics Discussed
- What “reflections” are and how your external annoyances mirror your internal emotional state
- Why recurring infestations are often tied to self-judgment, limiting beliefs, or feeling “not enough”
- The exact process for decoding reflections and energetically course-correcting in real time
- Why physical solutions (cleaning, traps, exterminators) rarely work until underlying emotional patterns shift
- Personal tools for reframing self-talk and how fast reality changes after the root belief changes

Welcome back to the Rooted Within podcast. My name is Megie, founder and CEO of Whole Family Health. This is where ancient wisdom and modern science come together. A return to wholeness, led by the wisdom that has always lived within you. Alright, you guys, do I have a story for you? Okay, this one actually is a story that happened to me last year. However, it has been on my podcast list of things and episodes that I want to impart on you guys. And I also had like a little bit of an identical situation happen near my birthday. And so it popped up and it made me want to continue to make sure that I got you guys this episode. And I even found in the notes section of my phone the reflection details of me sorting out this reflection, which you guys are gonna be able to relate to. And it is an infestation or you know, fruit flies being in your house, ants being in your house. I had fungus gnats in our house, and I, for the life of me, could not figure out this reflection for a very long time, a couple weeks. And I want to give you guys this information because it is summer. I know you guys are having ants crawl in, you guys are having fruit flies. Like this is very common, very typical around this time of year. And this is going to give you guys a leg up on solving this reflection so that you guys don't sit in it for as long of a time as I did. Now, if you guys are new here and we just had this situation happen where a lot of new people are coming in to our webinars, to our Q ⁇ As, and they're a little bit lost on the energetic exchanges of what a reflection is and how we create our own reality. So at Whole Family Health here, we call, you know, our external reality, how it's being mirrored back to us reflections. They are mirror reflections. Okay. So every single time we don't like what is happening in our external reality, anytime literally anything triggers you. Could be a level one reflection where you're just like minorly inconvenienced. Your kid looks at you a certain way and you're like, that was a little sassy, right? Something that didn't really bother you, didn't really trigger you. But there's like a little level one inkling all the way up to level 10 reflections that are like car accidents, bones being broken, like really unsettling, triggering situations that majorly inconvenience your life. Now, with intuition, we can always intuit and look into the level of severity of your reflections. And what a reflection essentially is, is what I just said, it's a triggering situation or moment, but it is always caused by your internal landscape. So whatever you are feeling, the emotional imbalance you are feeling internally, if it is loud enough, if it is compounded enough, if it grows enough, and you're really sitting in that energy, it will, by science, by law, create your external reality. It will create a situation that recruits in that same energy to how you are already feeling. Now, to own reflections, to understand the law of reflections is to be able to take a good hard look at yourself in your internal landscape, the emotions you are feeling, and being able to see inside and be able to own with radical responsibility how you are creating that mirror, that reflection, and that external reality. It is not for the faint of heart. It is really challenging when you first step into this spiritual and scientific world that we have here at Whole Family Health. It is really hard to understand that we create every single piece of our reality. It can come with both excitement to go, oh my gosh, we create everything in our reality, like every good thing. We created that. Oh my gosh, this great conversation, this great encounter, this great new connection I just made that's gonna advance my career, that's gonna advance my social circle. I created that. We can take ownership of that and we love that, right? We go, this is good energy. I'm so happy I created that. But every bad moment, every triggering moment, every time something doesn't work out for you, you can kind of get like, well, I didn't create that. Your ego can step in, your fight or flight system can be turned on, and you go, that wasn't me. That was just happenstance. That was just a coincidence. If you've been around here for a while, you know there's no such thing as coincidence. And it is a scientific law, it is energetic exchanges that are happening every second of your life, and every single piece of your reality is created by emotions that you have been sitting in long enough and loud enough that then changed matter. It allowed matter to move with a certain speed, with a certain formation, that then created the matter in your life to create actual substance and sustenance that is going to create your reality. That is just how it is and just how it goes. And part of my job, part of my life's mission is to help you guys create the reality you want by taking back your power with the understanding of this universal law of reflections, with the understanding of using your own intuition that God gave you as a birthright, tapping into that internal wisdom. And also part of my mission, too, is showing you guys that you can be in emotional balance. You can be neutral, you can be in charge and control your emotions so that you can get everything you want in life. Now, we did do a whole podcast episode on how that doesn't mean you're never going to be stressed out again. You will be stressed out again. You will have things blindside you, you will have unexpected things happening, but it's the reaction time and the ability to course correct and reframe and how quickly you can do that that is going to show you how to put your nervous system back into a state of parasympathetic. It is going to show you how you can then create the reality after that, make sure that you're not creating from a place of scarcity, creating from a place of fear, but you can knit that so it doesn't get loud, so it doesn't sit in your energy field long enough so that your reality changes. These are kind of the basis of our mission here at Whole Family Health. Now, if this is the first time you're hearing this or you just want to hear this again, right? And you're like, I'm fascinated. My mind is blowing right now. I want to learn more about this. I want to create my reality. I want to create ownership. We have a mini-series for you on this exact topic. It's five to 10 minute long videos, six separate videos where I literally walk you through what is universal law of reflections, and I get a little bit more deeper into it with you. So we will link that up here in the show notes. But this is what I'm talking about today: an infestation, okay? We had fungus gnats in our house, flying around, flying around our faces as we were drinking coffee for a good three to four weeks until I solved the reflection. And I'm gonna break that down for you because even though you're sitting there and you're like, yes, Maggie, it is summertime. You're going to get fruit flies, you are going to have ants, whatever, you know, situation you're in. If you have a bug in your house that is unwanted, it is triggering you, there is a rhyme or reason for that. And it's able to be decoded with the universal law of reflection. It goes a lot faster if you have a trained intuition. But this is going to be really helpful for you guys if you're in this scenario for you guys to be able to hear my story, attach your mirror neurons, and have them link up to my story so that you can remember you can help decode your own situation and hopefully nip it a lot faster than I did. Okay, so last year it was last summer, okay? Summer 2025. And in, I'm not gonna give away, I can't give away. I gotta really think about how I'm gonna set this story up. Lord knows I haven't yet. Let me just give you the basis, okay? We had all these indoor plants that I traveled with from Wisconsin from our cross-country move, and I buckled those babies up into the front seat of the car. Like I acted like they were another child because I had had them for years, maybe even longer than seven to eight years, maybe even closer to a decade. I had really tall snake plants, I had all sorts of different indoor plants that, like I said, our cross-country move, they were buckled into the top seats of Tyler's car. I was checking at them. I really, really loved them. I really did. I love indoor plants. This probably won't shock you. But we had all these indoor plants. We had moved to Utah at this time last summer. We had been in Utah for about nine months. So they were thriving, they were doing good. Come the end of March, early April, we started to see these little bugs flying around. And at first I was like, ugh, fruit flies, yuck. Like, I'm going to put all the fruit away. We started putting all the fruit inside the refrigerator and, you know, cleaning up after ourselves better and all the stuff that you start to do when you start to see fruit flies. I don't like fruit flies or any bugs in my house. I really don't. You know, fun little fact for you: our family, we're very sensitive to nature. We're very sensitive to insects. My husband will literally take a spider that he sees and he will escort it out the door. He will put it in his hands, and all my kids have followed suit, and they will grab the spider and they will put it outside and release it into the wild. Okay? They just are very loving towards insects and bugs. And it is not beyond us for my five-year-old and seven-year-old to get a roly-poly family and have them in some sort of container hanging out in their bedroom. Like, I have a rule that they have to stay outside, but every once in a while I will find these captured insect families inside of my house. I have to re-remind them, like, please get them out. Okay. It is just a thing. Tyler will literally take flies, he will capture them, he will put them back outside. And I don't follow that as much. If the kids are around, I will definitely do it. I've gotten a lot better as I've followed Tyler's leadership in this regard, but I don't like it. I don't want fruit flies in my house. I just don't want it. In fact, I've been scarred a little bit from my own upbringing of having like pantry moss. They weren't taken care of all the time in a super speedy manner. And it gives me a little bit of the ick. Okay. It has some PTSD trauma with it. Not really. But I just don't like it. I really don't. It makes me feel dirty. It makes me feel yucky. And it makes me feel like I don't clean my house enough, which I already have a limiting belief a little bit tied to that. So if I could just not have that in my face every single day, that would be so perfect. So, anyways, we start to have these, what I think are fruit flies. Okay. So I start taking all the actions. I start buying the red plastic apples, right? Y'all know what I'm talking about. Those red plastic apples, you take the pouches, you fill them with water, they attract all the fruit flies. Done deal. Okay. I'm having all these plastic apples all over my house. I'm having the yellow, sticky, you know, flower situations stuck up on the windows, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. In fact, I'm thinking right now I still don't have one of those sticky residues cleaned off my window. And I'm very much reminded of this horrifying fungus net situation I'm about to tell you. So I get all the hard solutions. Okay. Not even thinking about the energetic surreflective component at this point. I'm just taking physical action steps to get them out of my house. And it's not working. They're growing, they are multiplying. And all of these traps have not one fly on them. So I start to think and I go, this isn't a fruit fly. They look like a fruit fly. They're not a fruit fly. Like, this is what we're at right now. Like they're growing, they're multiplying. We're sitting down for coffee. My kids are like slapping the air. They're like trying to grab these fungus gnats. And I am disturbed. Okay. I'm so disturbed, so bothered. There's baby fungus gnats, there's adult fungus gnats, which I'm giving away the story here. They were not fruit flies, they were fungus gnats. And I figured that out because I was chat GBTing and going, what kind of insect is this? And I was taking pictures and I was researching insects in my free time. And I'm realizing they're not fruit flies. Okay. At this point, I'm like, none of them are trapping. These guys are not fruit flies. Come to find out they are fungus ants. So I'm like trying to attack this problem head on. And as the weeks are going on, like week two into week three, and they are multiplying and they are growing. I'm trying everything. Okay, I'm literally trying everything. I got to the point where I would boil water, mass amounts of water, and I was like cleaning out our drain. I was thinking they were coming from our drain. And so multiple times a day, I was boiling hot water and I was pouring it down the drain. I literally Amazoned so many fungus gnat drain solution cleaner situations to our house, and nothing was solving it. Okay. I was so bothered. And I got a little kick in my pants as well because at this time I had about a week or two before my dad and his girlfriend were driving to Utah to spend the week with us. Now, my dad loved him so much. He would not be here for fungus gnat situation. You know, like some parents are really lax. Like my mom was here, she wouldn't bat an eye, right? Like she at the pantry moss, she wouldn't care. She wouldn't judge me. She wouldn't freak out. My dad, on the other end, like something buzzing around his face, buzzing around his ears, he would probably have gotten a hotel. So I have a little bit of this like fear boiling up in me of like, I gotta figure this out. We are having guests. And my dad or not my dad, my mom or not my mom, anybody, like I take hosting very seriously. Like I love to host. I will cook for you, I will have a fridge full. Like it is my love language. So having people fly to us or drive to us all the way from Wisconsin, their hard-earned money, their time off of work, we relish in it. We want them to feel like the most special people in the world because we appreciate the commute. We appreciate them spending so much time and energy and money on us to come spend some days with us in Utah. So we take hosting very seriously. So, like I said, my dad or not my dad, I would just not want to be hosting anybody with these fungus gnats flying around, the children doing claps in the air. Like, I am not here for it. Okay, it makes me feel very dirty, and that was part of the reflection. I was feeling really dirty, and we'll get into that part and that reflection decoding in a little bit, but it made me feel dirty. It made me feel like I didn't have a clean space, I didn't have a clean house. I was desperately trying to solve this reflection at this point again, with all the boiling water, all the solutions. I even remember Googling like bug termination places in Park City. I was like, someone needs to come out here and they need to take care of this problem. I cannot figure it out. And I'm in the bathtub, just for reference, every single night, intuiting. I've got my friends intuiting. Where is this reflection coming from? I am trying to course correct this reflection because I am so embarrassed and now I feel like I'm on a time crunch that my dad is coming. So that's all going on. It's really bad. The boiling water, the drains, all of that is not working. Okay. Did not get a terminator, thought about it, googled it, and I can't remember honestly if the reason that I didn't go that route was because they didn't have time to come here. Or, oh, you know what it was? I think it was I got in my head, I'm very natural. I don't know if you guys know this about me. You may or you may not, depending on how much time we speak live and how many podcast episodes you've binged, but I'm very natural. So we do everything really natural here. We have all non-toxic stuff in our house. I'm very picky about it, what we use for cleaning supplies for the last decade, what food goes into our bodies. I have all non-toxic makeup, like organic cotton is everywhere. We try to really live as close to natural as possible in most regards. Okay. I did have a friend the other day be like, You guys really eat like 9010. Like you guys are a little much. And I'm like, Yeah, it's probably true. We've been doing this though for, like I said, almost a decade. So it's very much just our lifestyle right now. But that's what it was. It was like, I am not having these other chemicals come into our house, into our clean air and our living space. Like, I don't know what they're spraying. It was not natural based. And I was like, I can't go to this extreme yet. And also, a little bit of me is like, I will always figure it out. So I like the challenge. Probably wouldn't have said that in the moment, but I really do like figuring stuff out and feeling like I don't need to rely on anyone. Obviously, I do in some situations go to that extreme route. And if I couldn't figure out this reflection in time, I would have done that as well. But there was a little bit of me that was like bullheaded, being like, I'm stubborn, I'm gonna get this. I wanted to put my reflection decoding, my intuition skills to the test, and it was kind of bugging me that I hadn't figured out all the reflective angles and components quite yet to get this infestation under control. And I would have truly called it an infestation, like they were in our bathrooms. Oh, like I am still sweating thinking about this moment. I'm sweating even more sharing this, but YOLO, I've shared far worse than this. So hope you guys enjoy and hope you guys love all the podcast episodes of me just spilling my guts to you guys. So, anyways, I am in the bathtub one night and I am working hard on the reflective components, and I even have my phone up right here. Let's see the date that this was May 5th, 2025, 9.52 at night. That's what my iPhone says. So 9.52 at night, the perfect time for me to be taking a bath. That's what I do when the kids go to bed, is I into it and I channel in the bathtub every single night. May 5th, 2025. Perfect. So here I am going fungus gnat. Okay. Missing details. So let me go through the motion here. Annoying pests that are unexpected that get in your face and do not belong there. That was kind of my judgment. Like annoying pests, annoying insects that are unexpected, meaning they aren't supposed to be here. I don't want them here, and they do not belong here. Okay, so this is my triggered. I'm very triggered. They're not supposed to be here, and I don't want them here. This is very unexpected. I feel very blind-sided. Now, the thing with reflections is that you can, of course, have an emotional imbalance where you are holding an energy and then you're pushing it out to create that reality. That's what I started this podcast with. Now, reflections can get really complicated because everything is a reflection. So you may have been listening to a healing podcast where I am talking about a very compounded reflection of a body symptom or a health condition. So if you have stage four cancer, that's a very, very deep reflection. That is a lot of layers into this reflection. It's not going to be just one emotion you're holding. There is going to be a multitude of emotions you're holding that are creating that very large, very severe reflection. Okay. So the higher your reflection level is, so four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten level reflection, the more junk is gonna be inside of it. Okay. The more emotions you're gonna have to decode. Looking into the science of it, the more neural pathways you've established. Okay. We have talked about this a lot in our healing podcasts, where some diseases, some health conditions have four to five different neural pathways and neural networks created that are creating and making the disease manifest in the physical body. Okay. So it gets really complex, which is where having a trained intuition comes into place, having a very good mastery level understanding of the law of reflections come into place because it can get dicey the more severe the reflection is. If it was a level one reflection, again, your kid looks at you funny, you're probably just holding one emotional imbalance that you can nip and switch in a matter of seconds, and you won't experience that kid looking at you that certain way. That's making you feel a certain way. That's an easy. Easy level reflection that can be quickly switched. Okay, so what's really interesting is let's go back to that time. I don't remember all these details because it was a year ago, but let me just try to pull some up intuitively. So at this time, when I had tried the boiling water, I was looking at companies to come out. It was a level three reflection for me. So that's really interesting. That it was pretty low yet. I was feeling really irritated by it. I was feeling really inconvenienced by it. That's interesting. That's an interesting piece of data. So here's what I have. They are unexpected. They're not supposed to be here. Feeling dirty and like I don't do enough. I cannot catch a break. Okay, so these were the different types of imbalances I was showing myself and telling myself over and over and over again in my head was you're not doing enough, right? You're not cleaning the house enough. You're not doing the dishes enough. You are having a dirty house. You don't have enough systems in place. I probably was struggling with balancing work and household chores at this time. Okay, so I'm looking through the rest of my notes here, and it was just all different situations and circumstances where I wasn't feeling like I was being a good enough mom. I wasn't feeling like I had systems in place for bedtime. I wasn't feeling like I was getting the laundry done in the best and most efficient amount of time. These are all things that I circle around to. So this kid is melting down, and if I had better systems in place, she wouldn't be melting down as much. So my note section is filled with different neural pathways, different thought processes that I was having towards self, essentially saying that I was not doing enough, that my environment, my space was dirty, and I was not doing enough to keep up on the household chores. Now it wouldn't have just stopped there. It would have been, I'm not doing enough in business. I was probably feeling like I wasn't getting enough podcasts out. I wasn't doing enough webinars. I wasn't reaching enough people. It was that thought process. The root of it was I'm not doing enough. Okay. And my thoughts were similar to the fungus gnats infesting. They were everywhere, right? They were coming into my place in my environment of peace. That's what the fungus gnats were doing, right? They were in my home and they were everywhere. That was my thoughts. My thoughts were out of control. My thoughts were everywhere. My thoughts were disrupting my peace. My thoughts were invading. That's what my notes say right here. They were invading my center and groundedness to my life. So again, there's this parallel, right? So it is feeling like I didn't have enough systems and I wasn't doing enough. That was my thought process. Was that the truth? No, it was the way I was perceiving my life. And again, it doesn't just stop in one area of life. I'm doing it across all areas of life. So I'm feeling like I'm not doing enough, probably in financial. Maybe I was thinking I'm not making enough money. Or, you know, maybe I was thinking I'm not getting enough clients at that time. Maybe in the social area of life, I was going, I'm not making enough new friends. I'm not having enough social time, right? So you can go through all the different eight areas of life. Maybe in my body area of life, I'm going, I'm not working out enough. I'm not spending enough time doing my routines and different things like that. So you'll see this thought process spread out across all eight areas of life. It doesn't just stick in one, they are at different levels. Like I can tell you that intuitively looking in right now at this exact situation, it was a 98% out of a hundred that I was having those thoughts in the family area of life. So family area of life is what I was doing with my kids. I'm not doing enough with my kids. I don't have enough systems with my kids. It's in the laundry. I don't have enough systems with laundry. I don't have enough to keep up on the house. Okay. That was a 98% out of 100. That's a very loud energy field and very loud recruitments of me feeling that emotional imbalance. When I look at the financial area of life right now and I intuit, it's still there, but it's at a 2%, meaning that if I was having those thoughts, I'm not getting enough clients, I'm not doing enough work, I'm not making enough money. That was at a 2% out of 100. So that tracks because I'm not typically super money focused. I'm not somebody that's really into create enough wealth by this. And I'm just not deadline focused like that. We are well taken care of. We don't struggle as much in that department. So it wouldn't make sense that that would be at that time a 99% out of a hundred or in the 90s or in the 50s or 60s. So it's still there, but it's at a low level of a 2%. So I was still telling myself those thoughts, but only a 2% out of a 100. Okay. So they will be at different variations and different percentages, but it's you holding this emotional imbalance loud enough and long enough for it to create your reality. Those fungus gnats flying all around, invading my peace. Okay. And haphazardly, like no rhythm to where they were flying or what they were doing. It was very haphazard, very chaotic. It resembled my brain at that time. It resembled my brain of feeling like I could not do enough. Okay. And it's also funny because as I was trying to put out the fungus gnats with all of those elements, right? I was trying to take physical action steps, trying to overcompensate, to do enough, right? To feel like I was doing enough, it still wasn't working, which is pretty comical and hysterical. When you think back and you're like, yep, it wasn't going to be a physical component. I needed to handle the emotional component and resolve the reflection in order for my reality to change. Because I was just going to physical action steps and, like I said, getting the different cleaning supplies and hyper focusing on doing the water boiling and putting it down the drains and all this other research, because I wasn't attacking the emotional root that started it, right? I wasn't attacking how did this even get into my energy field that then changed matter and changed the physical matter in my 3D reality. Because I wasn't attacking the emotional root, I couldn't solve the problem until I got to this point where I was like sitting in the bathtub, really soaking it out, really trying to see what I was holding on to and how that was manifesting my reality. It's so interesting. This is something that I do for clients every single day. People will come in with a problem and I'll go, yep, this is what you're holding. Boom, problem's gone. It is so interesting to be able to dissect how you guys are recruiting in certain situations or people in your life that you're wanting an answer to to see how you're holding something. Once you change that, the entire situation melts away, much like I'm about to tell you. So I'm sitting with myself and I'm like, oh, you will always get this click, this aha moment, this light bulb. It'll be a huge sigh of relief where you're like, oh, I am totally doing that to myself. Oh my gosh. And when you have that epiphany, you have that like, oh, oh my gosh, I am doing this. It makes so much sense. It is a parallel situation to my brain, what was happening with my thoughts, me beating myself up, thinking I wasn't doing a good job. They were distracting, right? The flies were buzzing around and they were distracting. I was distracted. I was feeling like I couldn't stick to one thing. I was feeling like it was the laundry, it was the kids, it was the overwhelm here. It was all these things. It was distracted. My brain was literally mirroring with my thought process what it looked like with the fungus gnats being in my house. Oh my gosh, it was so funny, you guys. Okay. And then the reflection switched over time. So, like I said, when you have more complex reflections, there can be many different layers to it. So there was an element that I started telling myself after the reflection started moving and the energy started rolling. I started to tell myself a new angle of this reflection, which is I don't have enough attention to detail to figure this out. I don't have enough attention to detail to create a system to prevent this. So that wasn't the original route of the reflection. But as I continued to get triggered with not being able to solve it, I added that on. Okay. So it was this lack of detail. It was if I just cleaned more, I wouldn't be in this situation. If I had just realized that it wasn't fruit flies right away and it was fungus gnats, I wouldn't be in this situation had I-da-da-da-da, fill in the blanks. So because I didn't solve the reflection fast enough, another angle popped up that attached to this reflection, and then it moved the speed of the reflection faster. Okay. So that also can happen. And so again, I needed to get my energy straight with myself and get myself out of these thought processes of I'm not doing enough and I'm not detailed enough. I needed to start showing myself how I, in fact, am very detailed. I'm so detailed that I was putting boiling water into all the drains and I was doing it in a timely manner. And I'm so detailed that I picked the right cleaning solution from Amazon. Like our drains have never been cleaner, people. Like they were so freaking clean. I was showing myself all the ways that I am detailed, and that my thinking, the emotional imbalance I was holding was flawed. It was flawed, illogical thinking that I was telling myself over and over, you're not detailed. You don't do enough. Okay. I was telling myself that, but it wasn't true. It wasn't factual. And so that is how we create our reality, you guys, is that we are telling ourselves narratives that are not true. And it's how we bring in neuroscience and biology into this, is that every single time you repeat that thought, you are wiring and firing that neural pathway stronger and stronger and stronger. And that's how you get decades of repeating the same limiting belief to yourself. Nobody likes me. Nobody wants to be around me. Okay. Whatever your limiting belief is, I'm not smart enough. I told you guys that one's been mine forever. I'm not powerful enough. Whatever you're telling yourself, it starts to run on automatic and runs your life, and you start compounding these reflections that create your reality, and you don't even recognize you're telling yourselves these stories anymore. So when I go into a healing with a client and I'm like, these are the neural networks attached to your sickness and disease, they typically don't even realize and sometimes don't even consciously resonate with those limiting beliefs because they've been there since four years old, since three years old. So it becomes really interesting when we merge the science with the spiritual and understand again the law of reflections and how that pairs together and interconnects with neuroscience and neural pathways because they go hand in hand. So again, this is a minor level reflection of an infestation or this fungus gnat situation. But I'm just showing you in comparison to more severe health conditions or different things you can get yourself in if you're looking at a business failure or you lost a lot of money or this triggering situation or someone said something to you or a car accident, it can get really dicey and again all goes back to what you're telling yourself. But whether it is a big blind spot and you don't have the intuitive skill set to look and pull and extract that exact neural pathway that got you there and recruit it in that physical matter situation, circumstance, event, or interaction happening to you, you need intuition to do that. And you also, again, need this mastery level. But it will always come back to what you are holding inside of you and whether you are consciously aware of it or not, will be the deciding factor if you change the course correction of your life with something again, small, like an infestation of fungus gnats, although it didn't feel small at the time. It felt like my life was over. Or if it's something more larger scaled, like we had mentioned. So again, I was able to have that epiphany moment going, oh my gosh, I've been telling myself I'm not doing enough. Oh my gosh, I've been telling myself that I'm not detailed, that I'm not taking care of things in a swift manner, and all these other things, which when you look at those two limiting beliefs, they go hand in hand, right? I'm not doing enough and I'm not detailed enough. Both of it's going, I'm not enough. I suck. I'm not what I should be. That's what it boils down to, just different angles of it. One was saying, I'm not detailed to get the life that I want. And another was saying, I'm just not doing enough. So similar lines of thinking, but just a little bit different of a twist. But I needed to attack both of these neural pathways, both of these limiting beliefs, in order to solve the fungus gnat infestation. So I get to work on this, okay? I am having the epiphany moment and I'm starting to go, Megan, that's not true. This is me talking to myself. That is not true. You are so detailed. Maggie, that is not true. Look at all the things you just did with your kids. Look at how well you handled business and home life. Look at how incredible you are at this. Like I started to root for myself. I started to cheerlead for myself, and I stopped the emotional abuse that I was telling myself mentally. Okay. Now, because I do this for a living and I have these skill sets on mastery level, right? So I understand the neuroscience tools that work for my body. I understand how to course correct my thought processes. And I've had a lot of integration practice of me literally doing this so many times a day. I was able to get out of this really fast once I understood what the situation was communicating to me. Once I understood what it was telling me. I kid you not, you guys. That was that night in the bathtub. Okay. And the next morning, the next morning, I had it in me to clean. Okay. I was preparing for my dad to come. I was preparing for us to host guests, and I was deep cleaning. And the fungus gnats were still there. And I go to the front of our house and we get a lot of packages. I won't lie. We do a lot of packages. And I had probably a stack of like four to five different boxes that I never opened up. And they were all my gardening stuff that I had ordered three to four weeks prior. It was like me getting ready for summer, me getting new gardening stuff, new pots, and guess what? Soil. My gardening soil was in one of the boxes that was sitting in my front foyer that I had not opened up yet. So as I'm going, I'm gonna clean the house. I'm getting ready for my dad to come. I'm opening all these boxes I forgot to open, didn't want to open for the last couple weeks. I let them just sit and accumulate, knew they were my garden stuff, couldn't really remember what I got, knew that I didn't need it immediately. Opening up all this stuff, and guess what? One of the packages with my garden soil had an infestation of fungus gnats. I literally opened up that Amazon package and it like a whole slew of fungus gnats flew out into my face and it clicked, and I was like, holy crap, this is where they're coming from. Like I couldn't find the root source. And by the way, I had thrown out all of my indoor plants. Weeks prior, as I was trying to tackle this, I threw everything away because I was like, it's coming from the soil. I have to throw all this stuff away. I have to not have any indoor plants in my house. And so that really was like a brain buster. I had thrown out all the indoor plants and I was like, I don't know where they're coming from, which then made me think, oh, it's the drains. That's why I was on like a rampage to clean our drains. And this whole time, this whole time, they were reproducing, they were flying out of the Amazon package from our foyer, from the unopened Amazon box. Okay. I take this box because I am disgusted in a matter of seconds when I opened it, realized that they were all coming from this Amazon box, chuck it out the front door, this whole box, all the fungus flies in it, slam the front door. My kids are looking at me like, oh my gosh, this is where they're coming from. I'm looking at me like, oh my gosh, this is where they're coming from. That moment on, there was not one other fungus gnat. Like I literally walked around the house, and this isn't even logical, you guys. Like there had to have been fungus gnats still hanging out in our house. I did not see one from that moment on. I maybe saw one to three, but other than that, they were gone. They're vanished. They were not in our house from that moment on. It doesn't even make logical sense. But they were completely non-issue, not a problem. I wasn't killing fungus nets for the next couple days. I didn't clean our drains anymore. From that moment on, the reflection was completely solved. Completely solved. And what I want you guys to take from this is that when you are trying to solve a reflection or a problem in your life, you will not see the solutions to that problem. Like I had just shared, this box was sitting there. Had I like thought, oh Maggie, you were ordering all this garden stuff. What are these untapped boxes in your foyer? I couldn't see or feel the solution to this problem until I solved the emotional component. This solution was right in my face for three to four weeks. Right in my face, right sitting next to me. I did not see flies come out of it. I did not think about opening the boxes until I solved the reflection and understood how I was doing this to myself that was creating my reality. You guys, does this not blow your mind? And then once I realized it and I stopped hurting myself, because that's the whole point of reflections, is that your external reality will show you what you're doing to yourself inside. And when we are beating ourselves up, when we are hurting ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, we can't be the best version of ourselves. I was not showing up as being the best version of Maggie when I was telling myself I wasn't doing enough, right? My entire goals and mission in life is to be a wonderful mother, to be a wonderful wife, to be the very best version of myself and my business. Like those are family, my kids, my husband, myself, and my business are like my ultimate goals, right? They are my ultimate like live, breathe, die by. And I can't be a good mom if I'm telling myself that I suck, that I'm not doing enough. Like I'm not showing up as the mother I want to show up as for my children. I'm not being the best wife I could possibly be when I'm saying that I suck, essentially, right? I'm not doing enough, I'm not being enough. I can't be the business owner. I can't teach you guys to the degree that I want to teach you guys when I am telling those things to myself. So it's not that my body and my environment is out to get me going, we'll show her. Let's just stick up this mirror for her. It's going, hey, we can't get to everything you want in life. Your dreams are on the line here until you solve this, until you course correct this. You can't make the amount of wealth you want. Your dreams are on halt until you solve this. And it took me three weeks. Yes, it took me three weeks. And I, in a matter of probably 12 hours from the night before in the bathtub to morning, solved it, quickly moved it out of my field, and my reality mirrored that. My reality showed me the reflection was done. But it took getting my attention slowly, slowly, ramping it up, ramping it up, ramping it up, ramping it up. Oh my gosh, my gosh, my gosh, to the point where I was like, I'm gonna die. I'm so mad right now. And it took me getting to that point of frustration to sit my butt down and go, what is this? Sit down for hours and re talk to myself, rehash it out with myself, rechange my thought process, reframe myself. Okay. I had to get to that point where I had to radically look at myself. And go, where am I doing this? Why am I doing this? How am I doing this? And by golly, stop it. Treat yourself better, Maggie. And then I had to show myself. I had to love myself. I had to cheerlead for myself. And only then, when I changed my internal state, did the problem in my external reality go away. And did it go away really swiftly? Yeah. Because that's how fast energy can move. If you nail the reflection, you understand the decoding, you understand the communication, that's how fast energy can move. It's really cool. It's so freaking cool, you guys. It is so cool. And remember, it's always harder to solve your own reflections than it is to solve other people's. When you guys come in and you're like, I have this problem, or I have this health connection, it's so easy for me to spot it because I'm not in your energy field. There's no emotional attachment. When you're in your own energy field, you're in your own reflection, it feels a little bit more emotional, which makes it a little bit longer to decode and all of the good stuff. So a lot of good stuff in this episode. I want you guys to take away knowing that every single thing that is in your external reality is created by your internal reality. It's scientifically how our energetic broadcasts, our electromagnetic fields, and our energetic exchanges work. Once you understand that, you will move mountains. You will be able to take back your power. You will be able to take back your control by understanding that you create everything. You create everything. And so it becomes really empowering to understand this universal law. And again, we have so many resources for you guys. If this is the first time you're hearing this, but understanding you create your reality, and that if you create it, you can uncreate it. So just as though I created that situation to put myself into with the fungus gnats, and there are so many different, way more details I could get into of like how my dad paired into it and how, oh my gosh, just so many more details that I'd really have to think about because it was a while ago. A lot more went into it as far as the complexities within reflections. But if you create it, you can uncreate it. You can undo it. And that's what I want you to walk away from today. And then also, second, if you have an infestation of sorts, I want you guys to think about how that translation looks for you. Is your brain doing what my brain was doing? Where it was kind of haphazard and crazy and chaotic, and thoughts were all over the place, and I was really putting myself down, and they were invading, right? My thoughts were like invading my piece. It was invading my home environment. I would venture to guess nine out of ten times for you guys, you will have an element of that in your own energy field of your thoughts invading your piece. And that's going to show up in your reality as an invasion or bugs or insects invading your home. So if you've struggled with bugs being in your home, ants, like I said, fruit flies, fungus gnats, whatever, you guys are holding on to a piece of that. And you have to untangle that a little bit in order to get rid of the situation as well. Okay. So, oh my gosh, so many good things here. We could really go so much longer on this podcast episode, but we're gonna leave it here for now. And I want you guys to start thinking about that. Start thinking of how your internal state creates your reality. I want you to start thinking, if you create it, you can uncreate it. Okay. And again, if you're trying to really dive into this information and you want to grab these skill sets of decoding reflections, understanding energy, we have hundreds and hundreds of hours of content. So just email in. We will intuit what podcast episode you should listen to next, what webinar you should listen to. We have so many different things for you guys. So go ahead, email in, and we will kind of self-serve the next piece of your puzzle of what you need to learn next, where you should be, where it's going to be the best use of your time and energy. So we will see you guys in the email. If not, enjoy my fungus gnat story. I hope it gets your wheels turning and know that if you have an infestation, it's just something that's going on internally, an infestation of thoughts, chaotic, sporadic. Once you get those thoughts under control, you start cheerleading for yourself. You reframe that with neuroscience tools. You can change your external reality. They can leave in an instant, just like I showed you within my own story. Okay, you guys. Hope you guys are having a wonderful week. We will see you guys again next week and see you in the email.
