Outcaster radio.

SPEAKER_01

Good morning, Outcasters. This is Captain Tanaka. It's March 12th. 2143. And we're tuning in from the heart of Amara's innovative route. Star Whisper Alley. Our journey to the nearest Federation relay station is well underway. It's worth noting that in this case, NEAR is a relative term. If we relied on existing charts, it'd take us a month minimum to reach our destination. But thanks to Amara's pathway, we're shaving at least two weeks from the journey. And avoiding a pirate-infested patch of space. Thanks, Shoni, for the heads up. We're currently navigating the slowest section of the chart. An untrodden asteroid cluster. I've selected a playlist to keep us company. As we enjoy the scenery and keep our shoulders tucked in.

SPEAKER_00

Impact detected. Meteorite breach confirmed. Initiating emergency protocols.

SPEAKER_01

All crew, activate your ship's drones. Yes, it is activated. Fighters. Fall into battle posts. Prioritize class C bricks. Leave anything smaller to the outcaster shields.

SPEAKER_04

Dusty online. All drones activated.

SPEAKER_00

317K online. Uh, where do you need me?

SPEAKER_01

Chapinator and fighter drones are ready to do six. Bombers. Marks assigned. Fire at will. Let's keep the outcaster moving.

SPEAKER_02

Dynasty online. Grandma's warming up our cannons. Drones online in 10 seconds.

SPEAKER_01

They're warm, all right. We're locked and ready.

SPEAKER_02

Let's do this.

SPEAKER_00

Incoming meteorites detected. Impact registered. Initiating containment. Aft hold has taken damage.

SPEAKER_01

Minor impacts on the outcaster. Rerouting shields.

SPEAKER_00

She's taken a few dings, Captain, but nothing critical.

SPEAKER_01

Stay sharp, crew. Scattered patch coming fast at both upper and lower Donzo. Copy Kongpa. Joe and Chapman to port. Silk cover split line. Got it. Weapons hot. On it. First volleys already in the chamber. Good. Stay coordinated. Cat. Circle the outcaster.

SPEAKER_00

Copy down initiating diagnostics. Ceiling affected in the city.

unknown

Engaging.

SPEAKER_03

Next target is heading your way, Jap.

SPEAKER_04

Die. You overrated rocks.

unknown

Pew, pew, pew, pew-piew pew.

SPEAKER_04

Beautiful work, Chapman.

SPEAKER_01

Good hit, Joey. Let's mark that cluster at 10 o'clock lower voodoo.

SPEAKER_03

Locked and loaded, Grandma. On your mark.

SPEAKER_00

Set. Class C headed straight for the outcaster's belly. I I can't line up my shot.

SPEAKER_02

Silk. Adjust two degrees starboard and keep your throttle steady. Chapman, cover her flank. I've got you, Silkster.

SPEAKER_04

Not of debris at 12 o'clock. Let's split the marks.

SPEAKER_01

Copy that. I've got the right flank. Stay sharp, crew. We're almost through.

SPEAKER_00

Mark 345 is ours.

SPEAKER_04

Boom. Did you see that silky? Yeah, chap. I saw it. Thanks. What fun. 317K. You're falling out of pocket. Stay with us now. Thanks, Samara. I mean, copy con pa.

SPEAKER_01

Stop looking at your marked snap points.

SPEAKER_04

Trust your instincts.

SPEAKER_02

Grandma, I'm targeting the next big cluster at two o'clock.

SPEAKER_01

Already locked. Let's clear it.

unknown

Boom!

SPEAKER_03

That's 15 fewer headaches.

SPEAKER_01

What's that old saying? The family that destroys together stays together.

SPEAKER_00

Warning. Meteor approaching. Estimated impact in under 30 seconds.

SPEAKER_04

Big one coming straight for the outcaster. 317K report coordinates. Captain. Damage to the portside hull. Asteroid graze to the outcaster. Ada attaching to outcaster hull.

SPEAKER_02

Starting repairs.

SPEAKER_01

Fighters, tighten up your sweep pattern.

SPEAKER_04

I I thought I was.

SPEAKER_01

Crew, there's no space for regrets now.

SPEAKER_04

Cho, heads up! Debris coming your way! Get peeled off the outcaster! Spotted. Looks like hull plating. Should we be worried?

SPEAKER_02

It's not great. I'll patch it from here. But another hit could spell trouble for the life support housing.

SPEAKER_04

I'll clear incoming threats. We're kind of attached to breathing over here.

SPEAKER_02

Joe, I didn't know you could be funny. Relax, Ada's got it. Just keep the big stuff off me, all right?

SPEAKER_01

Copy that. Brace yourselves, crew. There's no clearing this cluster head on. I'm splitting the gap.

SPEAKER_04

Watch out, everyone. Tanaka's flipping the outcaster. Dead center between those rocks.

SPEAKER_00

Warning. Diverting maximum power to thrusters.

SPEAKER_01

No way. Battle carriers can call box for a one? Well, they can now.

SPEAKER_00

Current thruster output at 97.

SPEAKER_01

Every density is spinning out of the head. Another 30 seconds if we should clear the force of it. We'll keep it tight. Last thing we need is a surprise rock. Punching a hole in the outcast.

SPEAKER_00

Engine nearing maximum capacity. Engine output stabilized. Current thrust at 72%. Power distribution returning to normal levels.

SPEAKER_01

All units report in.

SPEAKER_04

That was delightful.

SPEAKER_01

A few dozen drones got lost in the fray.

SPEAKER_03

The dynasty is holding strong. No issues here.
