The Road Through | Exodus 14:1-31

In this morning's message, Israel reaches the edge of the sea with the desert behind them and Pharaoh’s army racing toward them, yet right in that impossible place, God is quietly doing something they cannot see. He leads them to a spot they would never choose so they can learn to trust him in ways they never have. When the sea opens, they discover that God does not only make a road out, but He makes a road through.

We know this moment because we have lived versions of it. The unexpected setback, the diagnosis, the loneliness, the heartbreak, the unanswered questions. Fear invites us to return to old habits and familiar patterns, but God invites us to stand still and watch what he can do. This story reminds us that "the wall" is not proof that God has abandoned us. It is often the place where he forms us, meets us, and shows us his strength in ways we would never learn on an easier path.
