Conversation with Nicky Johnson, 4-year starting point guard and 2x captain at Wesleyan University. Nicky is Wesleyan’s all-time leader in assists and a 1,000-point scorer. During his career, he won a NESCAC championship and, in the 2024-25 season, led the nation’s #1 ranked Division III team to a 30–2 record and an NCAA Final Four appearance. Before Wesleyan, Nicky began his high school career playing basketball and football at BB&N, then repeated his sophomore year at The Rivers School, where he competed alongside high-level players and earned NEPSAC Class B Defensive Player of the Year honors.
