In this powerful episode, Aunica Miles reminds us of a truth we often forget in the middle of life’s pressures—our trust belongs to God and God alone.

So many of us have been conditioned to rely on what we see…

our jobs, our money, our own understanding, or even other people. But when those things fail, we feel lost. Why? Because we placed our trust in things that were never meant to sustain us.

God’s Word makes it clear:

Proverbs 3:5–6 tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

This episode dives deep into how the enemy works overtime to plant doubt—trying to make God seem unreliable. But the truth is found in Numbers 23:19:

“God is not a man, that He should lie.”

If He said it, He will do it.

Even when life feels uncertain, God’s plans are still secure.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that His thoughts toward us are filled with peace, purpose, and a future full of hope.

In this episode, Aunica challenges you to:

  • Stop trusting in yourself more than God
  • Stop placing your faith in people, money, or positions
  • Realign your heart and priorities

Because the reality is—nothing and no one comes before God.

You were created with intention.

He formed you, kept you, and breathed life into you.

You are here because of Him—not because of people.

It’s time to:

  • Strengthen your relationship with God
  • Make time for Him daily
  • Silence the noise of the world that pulls you away from His presence

When you truly trust God, He will lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.

✨ Trust Him fully. Follow Him boldly. And watch Him direct your path.

Hello, hello, hello, great people of God. Thank you so much for tuning in to Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. And the scripture focus today would be Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5 through 6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Heavenly Father, Lord God, we come before you, Lord God, first to say thank you, Lord. Thank you, God, for your grace. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your loving kindness, Lord God. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I ask, Lord God, that you rest your Holy Spirit upon me, Lord God, and place your words in my mouth, Lord God, that you desire for your people to hear, Lord God. And I pray, Father God, that you open their hearts, Lord, to receiving your words and your message, Father God. And that you may have your way within them, Lord God. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen. So the scriptural focus is Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5 through 6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. We oftentimes are so consumed with the situation and the circumstances that we are facing that we feel like we have to do things on our own or things are not going to work out if we don't do this or that, or trying to figure it out all by ourselves. But he already said, Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Trust in God with all your heart. Don't lean on your understanding of your situation, of what is taking place in the world, of what is happening in your home, of what is happening at your job, of where you feel like you're not or where you could be your things. Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge him. With everything that you do, with every thought that comes to your mind, acknowledge him, lay it before him, give it to him. Everything that you're thinking about, give it to him. Every situation that you have, give it to him. If you every question that you have, place it before him, and he shall direct your paths. Jeremiah 29, 11. For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Numbers chapter 23, verse 19. God is not like man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent. So what he has already said, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. And in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. God is not like man that he should lie. He already said he knows the thoughts that he thinks towards you. Thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and to give you and hope. Stop putting trust in yourself. Stop putting your trust in man. Stop trusting your money. Stop trusting your job. Trust God alone. And every word that he has spoken over you, every seed he has planted in you will be manifested in you. But you have to trust him, you have to seek him, you have to give it to him. You can't just focus on your job or focus on your kids. You have to build the relationship that matters the most. The relationship that matters the most is your relationship with God. That's the relationship that matters the most. That's the most important relationship in your life. There's so much things that always try to grab our attention, to distract us, to lead us further and further away from him. But you have to make time for him. The devil wants to make God look like a liar. He wants to make God, he's trying very hard to make um what make it look like what God said is not what it's gonna be. Who God said you are is not who you're gonna be. So he floods with all types of situation. He doesn't go lightly, he goes very hard. But that's why it's very important for you to build your relationship with God. It's very, it's very, very essential, it's crucial for your growth, for your peace of mind. Because the devil don't want you to have peace. He doesn't want you to know who you are, he doesn't want you to operate in the power that God has given you through his Holy Spirit that he has placed inside of you. So he floods with so much confusion, he floods with so much chaos, he fills you with um anguish, anger, frustration. He could his job is just to make it to try to make you not have any hope in God to trust God, to trust what God said will be. But then again, Numbers chapter 23, verse 19, God is not like man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent. And so when God says in Jeremiah chapter 29, verse 11, for I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Trust God alone. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Do not lean on your own understanding. The what it looks like is not what it is, what it seemed like is not what it is. We can't lean on our own thoughts, our own mind, on our own understanding or perception of what something seems to be. We have to trust God with all of our heart. He created us, he already knows the thoughts that he thinks towards us, what he already planned for us. We have to trust him, we have to seek him, we have to develop the relationship with him. We cannot keep allowing the enemy to beat us down, to break us apart, to divide us in our homes, to separate us from our children. We cannot keep allowing that. We have to stand strong in God, we have to start where it where it really all begins. We have to start with God, we have to get close to him, we have to um develop our relationship with him, we have to spend time with him, we have to read the word, we cannot keep allowing things to come before us and God. We cannot keep putting things above him, our jobs do not become above him. Our the people that we know are not above him, our family members are not above him, our money is not above him. All those things are tangible things, all those things. God is first. God is the Alpha, the Omega, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the beginning and the end, the author and the finisher of our faith. We cannot keep allowing the responsibilities of each and every day to draw us further and further and further away from him. We're not going to be able to operate in the power that he has placed in us through his Holy Spirit if we continue to draw further and further away from him. It's not by our spirit, it's by his spirit. We have to gain a relationship with our God. He teaches us how to do all things, he helps us with all things, he takes care of us, he provides for us, he helps us understand how to operate in a situation, he helps us understand how to have relationships, how to build the job, build the business, what to do with the money. He helps us to love one another. He helps us so we're not operating in frustration, we're not irritated, we're not treating people nasty and mean. We have to trust God. We have to build that relationship with Him. That's the most important relationship you can ever, ever have is your relationship with God. That is your foundation. That needs to be the foundation of your life. So I hope today you receive this word and this message, and that you continue to focus on your relationship with God, building your relationship with him, building your foundation with him, and trusting the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Heavenly Father, Lord God, we thank you for your words, Lord God. Help us, Lord God, to trust in you with all of our heart, Lord God, to not lean in our own understanding, Lord God, and in all our ways to acknowledge you so you can direct our paths, Lord God. Help us to draw closer to you, Father God. Open a heart desire to want to learn more of you. Help us to build our relationship with you, God. Help us to sit at your feet and sup at your table, God. Help us, Heavenly Father, Lord God, to be who you have called us to be, God. Help us to stop being distracted by the world and the day-to-day responsibilities, God. Help us to stop being led astray, Lord God, but to seek your face, Lord God. Seek you, Lord God, with all of our heart. That you may have your way within us, Lord God, that you may get the glory, that you may get the praise, oh God. Help us, Lord God, to operate in authority and the power that you have placed inside of us through your Holy Spirit, God, to trample over the enemy, Lord God, for you have given us dominion, Lord God. Help us, Lord God, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord God. Let your spirit flow within us, Lord God. Let your anointing rest upon us, Father God. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen. Thank you so much for tuning into Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. And I hope you have an amazing day.
