Hello, hello, hello, great people of God. Thank you for tuning in to Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. And the scripture of focus today would be Ephesians chapter ten, verse ten through twelve. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. O gracious Heavenly Father, O God, we approach your throne of grace, Lord, first to say thank you, Father. Thank you for your grace and your mercy towards us, your loving kindness, Lord God. Heavenly Father, O God, I ask, Lord God, that you rest your Holy Spirit upon me, Lord God. Fill me up with godly authority, Lord God, and put your words in my mouth, Lord God, that you desire to speak unto your people, Father God, and that open their hearts, Father, that they may receive your message, Lord God. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen. So we're looking at the scriptures, Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10 through 12. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. First, let's take a look at he says under verse 11, put the whole armor of God on. What is the whole armor of God? The whole armor of God that we must put on would be gritting your waist with truth, that which is the word of God, reading your word, reading your word to equip yourself and to of the knowledge of the truth of God. Having put on breast your breastplate of righteousness, which is believing in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Shown your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, being disciples of Jesus Christ, creeping his ways, keeping his instructions, keeping his guide, guidance towards us, what he has already, what he has told us to do. The shield of faith, which is trusting in God, believing in his words towards us, and not what we see. For example, he said, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. So no matter what the situation looks like, no matter if it looks like you're not gonna make it, it looks like the storm is greater than um, and greater and will overtake you, is keeping the shield of faith and trusting in his word that he has said that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We're in the helmet of salvation, which is redemption. We are redeemed from our old ways, our old man, who we used to be. We're now that person is now dead, and we are a new creature in Christ. Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The word of God. You have to be, you have to be, you have to read your word. You cannot have the sword of the spirit without reading your word, because the word of God is living and powerful. The word of God is the sword of the spirit, the word of God is the power. What he says and what he says is in the Bible. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for the saints. So being watchful, praying continuously, and persevere through your situations. Persevere. Remain steadfast. So, as he said, you have you have to put on the whole armor of God to make it through the situations and the darkness that's in this world. There's so much darkness that the enemy is trying, he's coming for the people of God. He's trying to come against the word of God, what God has spoken over your life, who God has called you to be, what God has said to you, and wants you to doubt that God is with you, that God is real, that salvation is not near, that Jesus Christ is not real. He wants you to believe that you are on this world, in this world alone, and that there's no help coming for you. And you're by yourself. You're by yourself. He wants you to believe you're by yourself in your depression. He wants you to believe that there's no healing from your pain and your trauma. He wants you to believe you have to remain stuck, and that there's no help. But that is not true. God sent Jesus into the world to die for our sins while we were still sinners, that we will have a way to salvation, to be redeemed from the curse of the world, the law, the um the way the wickedness of the enemy. And death is defeated. Victory was won in Calvary on the cross with Jesus Christ when he died for us. And so, therefore, we have power. And God has instructed us to put on the whole armor of God. We must put on the whole armor of God. You must learn his word, which is the truth. Pursue righteousness, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all things will be added unto you. That's Matthew chapter 6, verse 33. Shawn your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Being disciples of Jesus Christ, the shield of faith, believing in God, trusting in God, his word, his ways, what he says, not what you see. And the helmet of salvation, that you are redeemed, that who the Son sets free is free indeed. And you keep your hope in Jesus Christ. Because we we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We're not battling against people. It's not people that we are battling against. But it's not the person, it's the spirit. And you have power to rebuke the spirit, the spirit of anger, the spirit of fornication, the spirit of sexual immorality, the spirit of deception. The devil is the father of lies, the spirit of alcoholism, the spirit of the pharmaceutical demon, the spirit of rage. So many demonic entities and spirits, that's what we're battling against, and you cannot see it. But God can see it. God is spirit, and you must, those that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. And so, therefore, God is able to see the seen and the unseen. He's able to see the spirit working in some in um in somebody against you. He's able to see the spirit that's attacking your atmosphere. He's able to see the spirit that's attacking your family. He's able to see the spirit that's attacking your job. He's able to see the spirit that's attacking your children. He's able to see the spirit that's attacking your finances. He's able to see the spirit that is coming up against you. But with without knowing his word, you are defenseless against the enemy. Without putting on the whole armor of God, you have no power. The enemy can trample over you. But you must be put on the whole armor of God, that you be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, against his lies, against his ways, against all the deception, the darkness that he tries to send to give you delusions. So I urge you today to put on the whole armor of God. And if you don't know what that is or how to do that, all you have to do is pray and say, Father God, please help me to learn what the whole armor of God is and to put on the whole armor of God. As you have instructed me. God is here to help you, not to hurt you. He is here to guide you, to instruct you. In a world that does not know God, He's here to teach you what it means to put on the whole armor of God, that you may stand against the wiles of the devil, that he does not overtake your home, he doesn't overtake your marriage, he doesn't overtake your children, he doesn't overtake your finances, he doesn't overtake your mind. For God said, the battle is not yours, it's mine, says the Lord, and I'll repay. But you must put on the whole armor of God in order to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. So in closing today, I advise you to put on the whole armor of God. Having the breastplate of righteousness, believing in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Shine your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, being disciples of Jesus Christ, keeping his ways, the shield of faith, trusting in God, believing in his words, his promises towards you, and what he says, and not what you see. The helmet of salvation, redemption. The old man is dead and done away with. You are now a new creature in Christ, and the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Oh gracious Heavenly Father, O God, we thank you right now for your word, your instructions, your guidance. Always being with us, always helping us, always encouraging us and helping us to understand that you are with us and that you have not left us in this world as an orphan, but you are continuously there watching over us, keeping your hands upon us, giving us instructions and things to prepare us and to help us to stand against the wickedness of this world, against the lies that the enemy tries to place on our minds, against the control he tries to have over our emotions and our lives and our heart, oh God. We thank you, Lord God. We ask, Lord God, that your words resonate within our soul and our spirit, oh God. We ask, Lord God, that you help us to take heed to your message, Lord God, to put on the whole armor of God, to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, Lord God, to help us, Lord God, to stand, Lord God. For you said, the battle is not ours, it's yours, Father God. And we thank you, Father God. We thank you, Lord God, for who you are towards us, that you're such a great and loving Father, that no matter what we're doing, you continue to come after us. You continue to be with us and help us, and to be the greatest Father that we can have ever asked for. You're the gift to our lives, to our spirits, to our souls. Help us, Lord, to walk in your ways. Help us, God, to meditate on your words. Help us, God, to spend more time with you, Father, that we may continue to be able to receive your words, your message, your guidance, that we no longer live in ignorance and no longer overtaken by the lies and the deception of darkness and the enemy. But we stand strong in you, and our faith and our trust and our hope is in you. For you will see us through it all. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Thank you for tuning into Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. Have a blessed day.
