Scripture Focus: John 14:18 and Psalm 55:22
Have you ever felt forgotten, overlooked, or as though no one truly understands what you are carrying? In this encouraging episode of Woman in Christ, Aunica Miles reminds listeners of one of God’s beautiful names: El Roi, which means “The God Who Sees Me.”
Jesus promises in John 14:18, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” No matter what season you are facing, God sees your tears, knows your struggles, and understands the burdens you carry. You are never abandoned, and you are never alone.
Together, we will also reflect on Psalm 55:22, which reminds us to “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee.” God invites us to place our worries, fears, and pain into His hands because He cares deeply for His children.
If you have been feeling weary, unseen, or discouraged, this episode is a reminder that heaven has not forgotten you. El Roi sees you, loves you, and is with you every step of the way.
Join Aunica Miles for a message of hope, comfort, and reassurance that no matter what you are facing, God sees you—and you are not alone.

Hello, hello, hello, great people of God. Thank you for tuning in to Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. The scripture of focus would be John chapter 14, verse 18. I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you. Oh gracious Heavenly Father, O God. Reapproach your throne of grace, Lord, first to say thank you, Lord God. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I ask, Lord God, that you have full authority, Lord God, that you help me to decrease within myself and that you may increase within me, O God. Rest your Holy Spirit upon me, Lord God, and speak the word, the message that you desire to speak unto your children, Father God. And open their hearts, Lord God, to receiving your word and your message, Father God. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen. The scripture of focus is John chapter 14, verse 18. I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you. So God has many names, but we are we are able to better understand who God is and why we worship him by his names. And one of God's names is Alleroy, which is spelled E-L R O I, which means the God who sees me. God sees you. God sees what you're going through. God sees what is taking place in your life. God sees every moment. Nothing is hidden from God. Your struggles are not hidden from God. Your pain is not hidden from God. The things you battle with each and every day is not hidden from God. God has not forgotten you. God has not left you. God knows what you have need of. God knows what troubles you in your spirit and in your heart. God sees it all. And so as John chapter 14, verse 18 says, I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you. Psalm fifty-five, chapter twenty-two. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he shall sustain you. He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Nothing is too hard for God. And as God said he has not left you as orphans, he will come to you. He will do what he says. Through everything that looks like it's fallen apart. Through every even when people have left you. Cast your cares and your burdens onto him. Give it all to him. Don't try to do nothing on your own. Every situation you're encountering, pray to him about it. There's no perfect way to come to God. Come to him as you are. Give it to him. Give him that hurt. Give him that pain. Give him your situation. Give God everything. It's not too much for him. He didn't leave you here by yourself to endure by yourself. He didn't leave you here to try to figure it out all alone. His name, Elleroy. The God who sees me. You are seen by God. You are seen by God. Even when it seems like the world don't see you. When people overlook you. That you feel like you're not seen. God sees you. God sees you. God loves you. God loves you so, so, so much. God loves you. You're not alone. You're not forgotten. He is working it out even when you think he's not. He's making a way even when it doesn't look like there is a way. God's word is living and powerful. God's word is true. And you are not alone. You are not alone. So in closing today, O gracious Heavenly Father, O God, I lift up your child up to you, God. I pray, Lord, that you comfort them through every trial, through every situation. Help them to feel your presence at this very moment, Lord. Help them to feel, Lord God, that you are with them in the very place that they are standing and where they are right now, Father God. Help them to know, Lord, that you have not forgotten them and that you see them, Father God. Help them, Father God. Encourage their heart and their spirit. Restore them, Lord. Lift them up, Lord. Help them, Father. Through the navigation of this world, oh God. Through everything the enemy tries to throw at them, through every lie he tries to place in their mind, to make them doubt your word towards them, to make them feel like you have forgotten them. To make them feel that you are no longer with them. To make them feel that you are ashamed of them. Lord God, I ask, Lord, that you have your way, O God. I ask, Lord God, that you fill them with your peace, O God. Peace that surpasses all understanding, Father God. I pray, Lord, that you reveal yourself unto them. And have your way in their life, O God. In Jesus Christ's name. I pray. Amen. Remember God sees you. You're not left in this world as an orphan. But he's coming to you. Be blessed.
