The invitation has been sent—but will you answer the call?
In Matthew 22:2–14, Jesus tells the parable of the wedding banquet, reminding us that many are invited, but we must make the decision to respond. And in Luke 5:32, Jesus declares, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
This episode is a call to everyone who feels like their past has disqualified them, their mistakes have defined them, or they have gone too far for God to use them.
You are invited.
God is calling His people to repentance, transformation, purpose, and action. Your past does not have the final say. Your beginning does not dictate your end!

Hello, hello, hello, great people of God. Thank you for tuning in to Women in Christ Podcast with Annika Miles. The scripture of focus today will be Luke chapter 5, verse 32. It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. Oh gracious Heavenly Father, O God, we approach your throne of grace, Lord, first to say thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord God, for your grace and your mercy and your loving kindness towards us, O Lord God. Father God, I pray, Lord God, that you may have your way, Lord God, within me, Lord God. Rest your spirit upon me, Lord, and put your words in my mouth, Lord, that you desire to speak onto your children, Father God. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen. So as we take a look at Luke chapter 5, verse 32, it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. Now take a listen to this parable in Matthew chapter 22 verse 2 through 14. The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding, and there were not willing to come. Again, and he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, see I have prepared my dinner, my fight, my oxen and the fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding. But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. But when the king heard about it, he was furious, and he went out, he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burnt up their city. Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore, go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding. So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guest, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment? And he was speechless. As we look at that, the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son. The king is God, his son is Jesus Christ. He arranged a marriage with his son, Jesus Christ, with the body of Christ. As Jesus Christ is the bridegroom, and the body of Christ, which we are, is the bride. He arranged a marriage and the wedding and invited those to the wedding. But they were not willing to come. So many people are do not have time for God, do not have time to receive the word of God, do not make time for Him, have not chosen Him. Jesus was sent into the world to rescue us from our sins, to reconcile us by the marriage back to God, the Father. God has sent his servants out to declare the good news of the gospel, to share his word and his love, to let his people know that I love you. I have not left you, I have not forsaken you. I have sent my son into the world to rescue you, to save you, that you will be reconciled back unto me. And so people have received this message, but have chosen to ignore the message. They have, I have to go to work. Then we have many excuses. I have to go to work. I don't have time for that right now. I don't, I don't, we have we're filled with so many excuses as to what why why we're not ready. And so God was angry. To tell you that I'm here for you, to tell you that you don't have to go through life by yourself, to tell you that I am the Lord God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth. All things belong to me. Everything is in my hand. I have declared and I have showed and showed and showed mercy and grace to you. I've extended myself continuously, but you continue to go astray in your hearts and say in your heart that there is no God, to say that I have left you, to say that I'm not there, that you do not have time for me. So now you destroy them and opened up the wedding to those that were not originally invited, which states the wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore, go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding. As we take a look back at Luke chapter 5, verse 32. It is not the healthy who needs a doctor, but the sick. We are above and not beneath. We are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. It is time to choose he who which disdain who you are going to serve. Send this message out to all those that you know. To spread the good news of the gospel, to spread the word of God, to tell his people he loves them, to tell his children he's here for them. To tell them that they are not alone. To tell them the way that they no longer have to live in ignorance. There will be a call to action for the people of God, the children of God. In Baltimore, Maryland, October 10th, 2026. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The location is to be the um announced. Thank you, Lord God, for sending your son Jesus Christ to die for us, that we may be rescued and saved and um reconciled back onto you, oh God. Thank you, Lord God, for extending the invitation to us, Lord God. Thank you, Lord God, for sending Jesus to die for sinners, um, for us, Lord God, that we can come back to you, oh Father God, with open arms, oh Lord God.
SPEAKER_00Lord God, I thank you, Heavenly Father, oh Lord God. I pray, Lord God, that you have your way, Lord God, with your children in this very day, at this very moment, oh Father God. Help them, Lord God, give them the strength, oh Father God, to accept the invitation and the call, oh Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to sit at your feet, to stop at your table, Lord God, to yield no more territory to the enemy, Lord God. In the name of Jesus Christ, oh Father God. I pray, Lord God, for the hearing of this message, oh God. I pray, Lord God, that you have to have your way within their heart, oh Father God. Lift them up for lightness, oh Lord God, and Lord God to know that you are within the most father God, and then the number of women says, Lord God, that they're not subjective to the only one of the women's sense that they are, oh Father God, but then in the children of the most high God, and in the children that comes to send about them, Lord God, to the heart of them, Lord God, through their child, and in their tribulations, Lord God, to the delivery, Lord God, and they're gonna come and the devil that continues to come up against them, Lord God, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord God, and your way, Lord God, comfort them, Lord God, and come around them, Father God, in Jesus Christ's name. I pray.
