Say it three times for the people in the back. Real is rare. And fake is everywhere. Alright. So listen, y'all go ahead and grab the pen and papers. You already know I'm gonna drop this episode, and y'all gonna get those three steps, those three action tactics that you can implement in your game, your playbook today. Today and start peeping out what's going on around you guys. You already know, guys. If you don't, first and foremost, let me back up. Welcome if this is your first time here. Welcome to the Black Sheep Leadership Podcast. Listen, we appreciate you pulling up. This podcast is all about helping the black sheep, the misfits, the overlooked leaders, the underdogs level up in any economy. Discover their destiny so they can do the divine work they're called to do. Okay, and so listen, y'all. We're gonna get into this episode. I'm absolutely excited about it because this is something that you really need. We all need this, and this episode is so deep. Save it, come back and visit it. But better yet, download that playbook. Download the playbook and the sheet that goes along with this. I'm telling you guys, this is gonna be one that you're gonna use for the rest of your life. I promise you. I'll be gone, transcended on. And this one right here, especially in the time of AI, artificial intelligence, literally. See, AI, chat GPT, and all of those things, that's just a different type of search engine, if you think about it. Right? It's just a different type of search engine. But guess what? It's really crazy when you get people that do certain things for certain motives. You don't have no clue, but not only that, we even got people that change their face online using artificial intelligence, right? They have you thinking one thing and it's another. And I'm not even talking about a heavy filter, y'all. Y'all know AI is hardcore, it's badass now. Let's be real. And guess what? As a black sheep, I'm never going to be one of these over-the-top religious people that run around talking about artificial intelligence, it's the word end of the world, guys. They've been talking about the end of the world since the beginning of the world. Okay, and here's the deal: yes, there's an end that is coming, but one thing you must understand it will always be yin and yang. What do I mean by that? It will always be good and bad, and the way you use a tool, it shows who you are as a person, the real you. That's why we're talking about real today. That's why we're talking about how real is rare and fake is everywhere. But I'm gonna show you how to peep the real out when people don't even want to show you. Yeah, because as a black sheep, you already know. Listen, y'all, a lot of times a black sheep, we we are the fall in one of two categories, and obviously, this is not the only two, but these are going to be the main two, right? One, you might still be in that phase where you want everything to be cool, calm, and collective. So you want to get along with everybody, you want everything to be peaceful and just beautiful, like the perfect woodstock party, or right, or the perfect block party, or whatever, right? So you still, you know, you in that vibe. And guess what? Ain't nothing wrong. Well, something is, but guess what? Everybody has to learn at their own pace. I want to say there's nothing wrong with having an optimistic view, okay? Because I'm an over-the-top happy person for whatever reason. I I'm a now that I'm looking at it, guys, it's all about me being grateful to be here, right? Because somebody else, if I was judging my morality and all these different things, there's somebody that was way more talented than me that is not here today. So I'm grateful that the creator, God, still has given me a chance. So, yes, if you happen to meet me, there is a 95 to 97% chance that I'm going to be, you know, kind of chipper a little bit there, you know. But at the same time, black sheep, the other side that you might be on is where you just don't give a crap no more, and you just gonna be who you are, and you're gonna let it rip, right? You're gonna let it rip, and you got different levels of filters. You probably on that level of I match energy. So, how we gonna act today? Or you just might just be at that place where I'm just gonna be me. You know what I'm saying? And so, listen, guys, I'm not here to judge you, but it's all about knowing thyself. Why? Because if you in the game of life, you want to make sure you position yourself to win at any time, and as a black sheep, we give so much, we always give in, trying to do this and doing that, and a lot of times, the people they're not pouring into us. A lot of people around us are like succubus and vampires. Now, here's the thing I want you guys to understand this was a new thought that I I learned, a new uh philosophy. But it says that, and it's by Picasso, it says the meaning of life is to discover your gift, to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. Okay, that's one that's a soft concept, but the other hardcore concept that I learned is this you will be used in life. That's the meaning. If you're not being used, you which you ain't doing nothing, right? And it's okay to be used. Guess what though? It's not okay to be abused, and that's what a lot of times, black sheep, you end up having these vampires and these succubuses and these dust buckets, just in these fake folks. So today we're gonna bust them in their chops, and I'm gonna drop these three pillars on you. You're gonna get these three action steps. And one thing I want you to do, guys, is write it down, and I want you to put on an index card, put it in your car, your purse, your wallet, and your uh your middle console. Why? Because as a black sheep, I'm I gotta protect you. This is my life work to help you discover your destiny so you can go out and do the work that's gonna push humanity forward in a positive way. But y'all, people be coming for us. You know why? Because the forces of darkness do not want you to get your message out. I told you it's always yin and yang, it's on everything, right? Good and bad. That's why when you try to go up, it be so hard. It's like it's something pulling you down. But guess what? When you come down, you know how life is roller coaster, right? Up and down. Man, when you come down, you come flying down. Sometimes you don't even know. Have you ever seen those pictures where people be on a roller coaster and then they going down and it's like crazy, they wasn't even expecting it. That's how life is sometimes. Yeah. And guess what? Ain't nothing to it but just to hold on, and sometimes you just gotta be alone for the ride. But one thing about it, y'all, we got to admit that some of the things we go through is because we were with the wrong people, or we had the wrong people plugged into what we were doing, and a lot of times they either slow us down or they get us off our path, one or the other. And the other one is they'll destroy you, they will destroy you, okay? So I'm serious, and I'm gonna give you an example, and then we're gonna get into these pillars because this is uh I'm serious, y'all. This one is very serious. Um, I take this to heart, all of my episodes, but this one right here, guys, because this could be fatal. This could be fatal if you don't just this one episode, if you don't listen to nothing else, and you just take if you just take this one, because the fatal end of not recognizing who's real and who's fake before they come with the betrayal and the backstabbing. Do you guys recall the young lady? Uh, I believe it was in 20, either between 22 and 24. The young lady from Carolina, Charlotte Carolina, she was that hairdresser that went to Mexico with some friends, and those folks deleted her, yo. They got her up out of here. It was two females and a gay dude. Two females and a gay dude, and she didn't have now nobody. That's three people. She didn't have nobody to say, hey, y'all, no, y'all, let's let's not do that. All right, we effed her up, blah blah blah. Let's not go that far. Y'all, they deleted the girl, and you had two females and a gay dude. Nobody had enough compassion. Why? Because she was in the room with a bunch of fake ass motherfuckers. Some people that's probably been competing with her her whole life, or they had a riff, they had a disagreement. Y'all know we live in a time now where people just them, just because you don't agree with them, they act like you said you hate them and their mama and everybody that they love. You know, people so ignorant now because it's ignorance, it's a spirit too, though. So this is why you have compassion on people, but you really have compassion on yourself. Why? Because as a black sheep, we always trying to give people what we didn't have, and instead of reading the red flags, we want to keep giving people multiple chances. For real, y'all. And I'm and I'm speaking to you about this, but I'm also speaking to myself because I'm I'm going through the same things, and guess what, y'all? When people show you who they are, believe them. But let's jump into this episode. Pillar one. Here's the thing Pillar one, y'all. You're real and their real is not the same. That's number one. You must understand that you're real and they're real, it's not the same. Okay, what am I talking about? See, most disappointment in relationships, whether it be more romantic or just homies or whatever, it doesn't come from betrayal, it don't come from betrayal, it comes from misaligned values. Values, y'all. That's how you're going to determine the realness. Like, what do you what is real to you? What do you so? What you ask them is what do you value? What do you value? Right? And so for me, I'm like, okay, well, what do you mean by value? Right? Because people always act like, Oh, I didn't understand what you said, and I don't know what you meant, and all of this, right? So listen, let's check it out. What are values? Okay, values are simply what someone prioritizes most when making decisions. Okay, it's basically what are their priorities, what do they prioritize most when they are making decisions? Okay, let's get into some examples. Number one, examples of common values, loyalty. Number one, loyalty. So when people make certain decisions, if they value loyalty, they thinking, yeah, man, I gotta let me stay at this job, man. I gotta stay loyal to the company. I started with them, boom, boom, boom, right? Loyalty. Or you know what, I'm gonna go ahead and stay in this relationship. It ain't good for me. I'm gonna go ahead and stay though, man. I gotta stay down, right? Loyalty, good, bad, and ugly. I'm just giving you examples. Number two, money. Come on now. Y'all know the priority. How much am I getting paid? Now you want me to drive out where? Some of y'all do this the ride share, Uber Lyft, right? Some of you guys, I've been in Lyft and drove them before as well. And so it'll be a certain, it'll be a certain ride, and you look at it, you're like, wait a minute, y'all paying me what to go where? Oh no, we good. Why? Because the decision that you made, you prioritize the money. How about a job? When you looking at that job, now don't get me wrong, now as a black sheet, you start prioritizing. Guess what? Your value, you value peace. That's a bonus. They ain't even on the list. Come through spirit, that wasn't even on the list. Spirit, you you you you value your peace, right? Peace. Because guess what? Remember back in the day, y'all, when we was all in our 20s and everything, and some of you might still be in your 20s, and shouts out to you because this podcast is gonna definitely put you way ahead of the game, like 10, 20 years. That's how you really do it. Hang around with some folks that know some stuff, that's seen some things, not theory. You know, ain't nothing wrong with talking about theory or historical matters, but you also want some people that's been out there too. Nobody knows everything, so don't let a person fool you like they just because they old, they know everything. No, because we see people that's still outside asking for quarters and they damn near 70, right? So we know age don't mean wisdom, but however, certain people that you have in your court or in your corner that you listening to or mentoring by, you need to know a little bit how they had some skin in the game, it's gonna be a different type of swag about them type of people, okay. Anyway, peace. How many of y'all back in the day? Like I said, y'all, we're not twins. We want to know how much you pay in an hour. Oh, okay. What I got to drive an hour wait at how much you paying? Okay, we're looking for the pay, how much I'm getting paid, and don't get me wrong, guys, that's still very important. But now we're like, well, what all am I doing? What I'm doing now, right? You know what I'm saying? Then you think about who I'm working with. When you you ever went to a job and the money was decent and everything, even the workload was cool, but you start the people, gosh, man. Folks be cutting up at these jobs. People will make a simple job hard. Y'all, this Black Sheep Leadership Podcast. Y'all know I've been in leadership since I was an 18. I've seen it all from every angle. Older people tripping on young folks, young folks tripping on young folks, and young folks tripping on older folks, everybody tripping. Depending on who you meet, why? Because it depends on what they value. Number four, freedom. Freedom to schedule, right? When you let's think about a job again, right? Schedule, you want to know well, what type of schedule y'all got. I ain't trying to be here all the time. Am I off on weekends? What's the deal? You want to know why, because you like your freedom. Here's another one. Some of you guys left the job world and you want to be an entrepreneur because you want the freedom, you value it so high, guys. That's one of my top values. Woo Lord, freedom, y'all. Because as a black sheep, listen, when you tap into the work that you were born to do, number one, y'all, it's limitless income that can be made. Oh, yes, we're gonna talk about that more. But that is the power of getting into your purpose, it's limitless prosperity, limitless potential, it's all about your capacity, it's all about your capacity, okay? So, anyways, but the freedom, y'all, because I help people all the time, they don't even want to replace their job, however, they want the freedom to be able to go how they want to go, like travel, or they want the freedom to have the option. So if the job getting on my nerves, well, I'm already making five bands a month with my business. Bye bye, right? That's freedom. You got options, options is a freedom, right? Then if you just work for yourself, you got the freedom. You can wake up whenever you feel like getting out the bed, even though when you work for yourself, you tend to work harder. Okay, let's be clear because a lot of people act like entrepreneurship is supposed to be for everybody, and it's easy, and it's neither, it's neither. The steps is are simple, but is it easy? Of course not, because anything worth having is never is. Number five, reputation. Y'all know how y'all hear people say, man, it was the principle of the thing, right? Because your reputation, you kind of built you built a different way, and maybe principle not may not be a good example, but your reputation, you like, yo, they put that on my name, right? You ever notice how people, oh man, they snitch, people act like snitching is the worst thing you can do. Why? Because that's their reputation, and just to be clear, uh Charleston White he made two different distinctions, and I thought it was pretty good, and I definitely don't agree with everything he said. But he said, a real one, he said everything ain't about snitching. He said some of it is about setting a record straight. Yeah, why? Because that's my reputation on the line. I ain't taking nothing, I'm not I'm not taking no time for something I didn't do. Period. Now you want to say it's snitching, I don't care. Guess what? Real OG's will tell you if you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime, right? But people out here, they just sold because they vibe, don't snitch, don't still let me tell you something right now. If people out here causing chaos and mayhem on the fuckery, and you done mess with some kids, height at the school, gang, any all of that just because of how I came up, okay. I'm going up to the set the record straight. I'm just letting you know. Because, guys, we gotta stop letting these dust buckets think it's cool to not speak up when people effing up your peace that we value too. See, when a business don't want to come to your neighborhood, they value peace and their property. You see how Walmart is locking up freaking deorderant because people keep stealing? Why? Because they prioritize, they value their profit, and they're not gonna let a dust bucket come try to steal some deorderant. This is all about values, y'all. Values, why because they're real and Walmart real is not the same. You can apply this to anything. See, some people they going into Walmart, they don't value not stealing, they don't value the they don't value the profit, they don't value what Walmart had to spend for the deorderant. They talking about Walmart, a billion-dollar company, right? And they can do da-da-da-da-da. They don't care about that it's people that work there and you taking out their pockets, they don't care, they don't even care, they don't even value their reputation. Why? Because every time you steal, if you at Walmart, you know it's a chance you're gonna get caught. That's anywhere. So they you already know they don't value their reputation. Okay, family. Oh man, you already know how some folks, man, you go up, you say anything about their family, you go up. Anything, anything, right? But here's the thing are they real or are they fake? Because just because you relate it by blood don't mean you relate it by love, right? Man, that shit is crazy right there. That's why this, that's why we need this episode right here. I need it for myself, seriously, y'all. Because you gotta watch them. Because why? They real and your real is not the same. I'm gonna give you an example. Some people value money over everything, being selfish and holding all the money to themselves. So, how could I say that? Well, let's say, for an example, if you known that, like let's say y'all had a house, a big old house, and sitting on 10 acres, and the whole time the grandma and them or whatever, they done passed away and they've been behind on the taxes. Some people they don't value keeping the family house, the reputation, the freedom, the security that you have. They value their money. Man, I ain't finna spend my money on that. It ain't my house. They value their money. Okay? So family, family, y'all. This is one right here, but I'm saying if you value family, like you might say, I don't want to work third shift. Why? Because I want to be able to spend time with my family. Okay. Status. People, hey, they value their status. Y'all see it all the time. Look at people on Instagram. Y'all, status and ego hand in hand. How do I know people value status so much, y'all? Think about the people that uh uh put a murder on uh sorry a deletion on on social media. You doing that for status. You sick. You gotta do all of that to be seen, so you can feel important, so you can feel like you got a status. Wow. That's crazy, y'all. But then when you see people just doing whatever just to be seen, it's about a status. You want to be seen, you want attention. It's a certain status. People do anything, y'all. I'll never forget when I heard about that young dude that killed his mom for the insurance money so he could become a rapper for status. Not knowing, number one, you might never make it as a rapper, but number two, you just seeing the end, you just seeing the end result of it. You don't know, especially the real high-paid rappers, right? The one that really takes it serious, you don't know how many years they put in. I was listening to Rick Ross, and he was talking about it took him about 12 years before pushing to the limit even came in the game. Y'all, that's a whole decade. That's why it be tripping about people nowadays, they don't want to put in no time on nothing. They just think just because this is a social media environment and we're learning fast information. Listen, y'all, nothing will ever replace the process of actually becoming good at what you're doing. That's why you gotta just start. That's how you that's how you tell the universe, that's how you tell the creator. I'm just saying the universe for the people that ain't believers, I'm a believer because the earth is too divine to be some big bang and all of that evolution. You man, the earth is put together like an artist, like a piece, a masterpiece. So I'll say all that to say that's how you tell the creator you're serious. When you start it and you know you're not gonna be good, even if you take classes, y'all, even when people go to college, when you come out of college, a lot of times and you go apply for a job, people will tell you we're looking for somebody for what? More experience. Why? Because even though you may have paperwork, they want people to have experience. And so you look at the people that have experience, they are also telling you a message to say, I didn't wait to go to school to do it, I just did it. And there's nothing wrong with education, but I'm just telling you the thought process behind it, guys, because you will always like anytime you want to do something, right? Start it up. That's proof you believe that it can be something great one day. But I'm saying that to get back on track, these people that be doing stupid stuff, like you want to be a rapper, you're gonna do your mom in for the insurance policy? Like, how dumb can you be? But his status was more important, guys. You gotta watch people. People are shit on you with the job for status, right? They want a new title, they'll stab you in the back. Why? It wasn't about you, it was about their status. They wanted their title, right? So, next comfort. When people get in their comfort zone, come on now, y'all. Y'all know people be they'll complain about that job for 20 years in a row. They'll never try another one, though. They'll never apply for another job, they won't even apply for a new position at the same company, let alone a new company. Why they're comfortable, they value their comfort zone. You know when they talk about how people be um not just in relationships, but in general, how it's really hard to change people or help them change, or it's hard for them to change in general. Why? Comfortable. They've been doing it for a while like that. They're comfortable, right? It's hard, they're in their comfort zone. But see, one thing I want you to understand as a black sheep, though, the thing that you want is on the other side of the comfort zone. That's why this year, guys, I'm going all gas, no breaks. And guess what? Mistakes and all. I want you to capture that. Mistakes and all. Because nobody starts off perfect, nobody ever is, anyway. We're gonna all have the flops and everything, guys. You just gotta learn, you gotta be willing to say that's a part of the process, too. And don't ever let nobody make you feel any type of way for making mistakes. Why? Because if you're not making none, that means you're not doing nothing. Period. Okay, so next value is security, and y'all know it's so funny because one of the main values people do when they go to a job. Well, I'm looking for a secure job, baby. Ain't nothing secure out here in this world. You talking about you want a secure job. Where'd that come from? Where you get one of those at? Even the government not secure, they get laid off too. Y'all remember back in the day when people got a federal job, boy, them folks thought they was all letting a bag of doodle chips, and maybe they was back in '85. But guess what? Even in '85, y'all, people was getting laid off. Another one where people thought they was all letting a bag of chips, and don't get me wrong, y'all, these people making hella money. Shouts out to my blue-collar ballers. Yes, yes. I mess with the factories and everything, even some of the warehouses. But specifically today, we're talking about the manufacturing, and we're gonna talk about the car industry because hey, I'm from the Midwest, yes, small city outside of Chicago, and a lot of people work for different car manufacturers, whereas the car manufacturer itself, y'all know Motor City right there, and um, or they'll work for a company that that manufactures car parts, guys. People be in real good, they eat real good in the Midwest, you know. I want to say uh uh shots out to the people that's been holding those jobs down because it's definitely money to be made. But guess what, y'all? People get laid off. You get laid off. Who would have thought, man? Big old car company, y'all gonna lay off all these people. Y'all, in one of my books, um, I believe it was the no BS Guide to Politics. Um, and I wrote about how GM laid off, I believe, over 15 to 17,000 employees. It could have been 5k, y'all. But however, it was in Flint, Michigan, um, in 1979, 1980, y'all, a week or a day before Christmas, y'all. Y'all know that was some bull crap, but guess what? They didn't value the loyalty of the people, they didn't value the reputation. You know what they value? Money. Why? Because that was along the time when they started shipping the jobs to China. Yeah, see how values are, y'all. Not everybody ranks them the same way, and when you start to understand that, y'all, you're gonna really eliminate or really start to understand how why people operate the way they do. When you understand that people they're like, I'm gonna give you an example, how people are trying to rob somebody or whatever, they value the jewelry over like over doing the right thing, and then when you have people that want to fight for it, don't get me wrong, hey, if you can get alarm up, keep your stuff. Hey, I ain't I ain't promoting nothing, but it is just I ain't gonna lie, y'all. I'm just so over the bullies that be bullying hard-working people. I don't care if they stun out or not, because you don't know what a person did to get what they got. That's one thing about it, you just don't know. Right. Obviously, we want to move different and move, uh, you know, move like it makes sense, right? But at the end of the day, you don't know what a person went through. You don't even know if they got a chain on or not, you don't know what it represents, it could be a watch, it don't matter, right? You don't know what they did to get it, but guess what? Them dust buckets they value money, they value status. Sometimes they might somebody sent them out there, all right, to get in the game, you gotta do this, right? So now they out there doing some other stuff, not knowing that they know, but the person that sent them to do it, they don't value your life because you don't know who you might be running up on doing the Bobo, right? But the person that sent you out, they don't value life, y'all. When you see people that just be having those sticks and all of that, and they just be leading each other for no dumbass reason, or they'll say because of a color, guys, they don't value life. And here's the thing, guys, don't argue people, don't argue with people about what they value, just understand it and move around more wisely. Because if your loyalty is your number one value, but someone else prioritize it, like let's say, for instance, if you buy loyalty and somebody else prioritizes status, they will make decisions that will make you feel disloyal, like it'll make that'll feel disloyal to you, even if they don't see it that way, and they not, because y'all don't value the same thing. That's why I was saying, guys, don't even argue with folks about what they value because a lot of times your values come from how you was brought up, your environment, and really as an adult, what you what you created your life to be, because I'm always telling you that you can change, it's never too late to change. It's hard, right? But a lot of the things that we value, it came from our culture, and I don't mean our culture as a whole, I mean that culture within your community or within specifically your household. Okay, and then until you become an adult and you become more conscious of dang man, you know, I did that. Like, have you ever left a job and it was really a good job, but you didn't value the right things, or those weren't your values at that time? And when you look back, you say, Man, I should have stayed right there. I would have been real straight, right? Again, because your values were different. Like I said, guys, realness, first of all, realness isn't universal, it's defined by values, guys. This will always be the main, this will always stand. This is why I'm dropping these principles on y'all, because we can come out with all the damn technology we want, but there's certain life principles, no matter what go on, they will always remain the same while dealing with humans. And guys, I bet you when we start having more uh robots and Android uh interactions, because you know it's coming, right? Um, I bet you they're gonna set it up like an iRobot, they're gonna set it up based upon values. Y'all remember in iRobot how it was like, you know, I should not kill man and man or something. It was like three different values, and the way it was set up, it it gave them the ability to be able to compute right from wrong, quote unquote. Okay, but so yeah, y'all, realness is it's not universal. You gotta understand that, y'all. Just like some of these countries they be doing the kamikaze, right? They don't value life, they value reputation. Now, they might say this is a spiritual thing, but guys, that's all about reputation, right? There, and anyway, let's go to pillar number two. Energy never lies. Yeah, let's talk about it. See, you don't always need proof to recognize something is off about somebody. Energy reveals things long before people admit it. Come on, y'all. Even when we even when we start talking about how people betrayed us, right? Why, guys, because we felt the energy, you felt the shift. You can feel when someone secretly dislikes you, envies you, envy you, is not genuine, isn't happy for your success. Oh, we and here's the thing: you don't need a psychology degree, you don't need a degree for this, y'all. You just need awareness, you need awareness. Start being more aware of how people moving. Y'all, this is why one of the first things, like as a black sheep or as somebody that's just really trying to, you know, get they get on their shit, you know, and and really start to recognize, like, dang, this shit is really real out here, you know. And again, we talk about real today, but I'm just talking about survival. Even if you just say I want a decent job and have a roof over my head with a decent car and maybe take one trip a year or some shit like that, right? You gotta really understand, guys, there's people out here that will be jealous of you just because of that. And when you understand, just to get on your shit and stay on it, even if you say this is a basic level, and and I might you might say a basic level to you is everything I just said, plus having a 700 credit score, right? And being able to take care of your family, right? That might be, or or just be by yourself and be able to move how you want, guys. That might sound simple to you, or it might sound the bum dot com to somebody else, but to somebody else, y'all, it's nothing, it's nothing because they don't value the things you value. But guess what, y'all? You don't need a degree to know when somebody is jealous, you don't need a degree to know when somebody dislikes you, it in you, or is not genuine. Man, that energy be effed up. So let me just tell y'all this real story, real quick, man, because this shit is crazy. Like, you gotta, I'm serious, y'all. Like, just start reading signs, and then what I love about God is God also will confirm something that you already suspected. Have you ever caught one of them moments, y'all? This is how you know spirit is real, and this is how you know stuff really be real. Like when you a black sheep, y'all, and you really tap into your purpose. God makes you you are an investment to the creator because you are advancing the kingdom, and what I'm so what I mean by that, guys, you'll have divine favor, but also you'll have divine instructions, but he'll also give you divine nudges about people, places, and things. But God is so generous that everybody has intuition. So I don't want to make it seem like you know, this is some you know certain people, but one thing about it if you're a black sheep and you have intentionally said, I'm gonna do something for humanity to push it forward in a positive way, guys, you get supernatural intervention. Don't ever forget that. That's one of the other benefits of it, you get supernatural intervention, and sometimes you know, things may happen and it don't even look like it's gonna work out for you, but you will always see it at some point. So, let me just tell y'all real quick. So, I ain't gonna lie, y'all. You know, I was slipping a little bit. I mean, it didn't come all the way to it, but just for me to get re back involved in this, I was slipping because I value love and loyalty, okay. And so um somebody backstabbed me, y'all. Or somebody I had been doing for a long time. Man, I couldn't believe it, y'all. We had never really had any arguments or anything like that. So I had even gone back and apologized when I know I hadn't even did nothing, right? Because that's my values. So I never still I still didn't really know what ended up happening, but we ended up, you know, I just did that. I wanted to get it off my heart. I ain't out here holding no rudge, I don't know what had happened or whatever, but I was really hurt by it. Well, long story short, I ended up seeing them or meet back up with them a decade later, and so I it was like a feeling a feeling of familiarity or whatever. It felt good. I'm not gonna lie. I'm like, man, oh man, because I'm telling y'all, we was like Beavis and Butthead, man. See it. If you ask anybody, I mean, wow, when I tell y'all, like, and I'm gonna do an episode about Judas, y'all, because you gotta understand, and I got it in my book, The Misfit Mastery 33, 33 degrees, y'all. The misfit mastery. You gotta understand anytime we're talking about betrayal, betrayal can only come from somebody that you know, love and trust. Betrayal is not betrayal if it's from a stranger. Okay, you got to understand that betrayal is never from a stranger, it can only be considered betrayal if it's from somebody that's close to you. You know, they often say that Julie Julius Caesar's last word was Brutus, not you too, Brutus. And that was supposed to be his best friend, his best friend or his brother. I think it was best friend, y'all. That's crazy. Well, anyway, that's a horrible way to die. Don't get me wrong, y'all know the Roman Emperor was off the chain, but to let to see your lad, your your last stab in the back was from your friend. Wow. Well, anyway, y'all, energy don't lie. So let me tell y'all, we linked back up and we had a good little time. But let me tell y'all, deep down in my mind, I'm like, man, I'm everything cool, but when somebody backstab you and they ain't even real enough to say what was it, what happened, hey, you gotta remember that. You ain't gonna remember in the back of your mind, you can't even be comfortable with them because you in your mind, you like, man, this is somebody I've been knowing, this, this, and that. And um, and they just did that, and they ain't even came clean about what was up. See, I can respect a person that'll say, Hey, I like people that just say, Man, I ain't like what you did. Like that was some bull crap, you know, they can pull you to the side. I love people like that, you know, because you might not even take it like you might like, damn, you might be taken back. But when a person can come to you and say, Hey, what you did for me, like my values or whatever, that wasn't real, like that wasn't cool, and it gives you a chance. Oh, my bad, I ain't know, I apologize. But when a person don't say nothing, you don't know what's going on, y'all. It ain't it ain't nothing but confusion, guys. That's a demon. Because anytime you see confusion in the world where people want you to be confused about anything, guys, that's deception. They already telling you they on some bull crap. So let me tell y'all. So in the back of my mind, I'm like, damn, that's a shame saying nothing, you know. Okay, everything cool, but y'all, I was just feeling so weird. I was trying because I was happy on one end, but on the other end, I can't forget what happened. I forgive you, but you haven't even said you like ain't saying nothing. Like, uh, I ain't gotta say nothing. Right? And I wasn't looking for closure, but I thought we was real motherfuckers. I thought we was real mofoes, but guess what? I real was not the same, and so y'all we had kicked it in a little bit or whatever, about two, three times over a two to three week span because we stay in different cities, and um I after I left, um, I noticed that we would talk on the phone, everything was cool, y'all, and then all of a sudden, she just stopped responding. She stopped responding. We weren't talking all the time anyway, because you know, don't get me wrong, I had already gone back into the lair with the devil. Because let me tell y'all something as a back as a black sheep, y'all. Don't never let nobody get close to you that backstabbed you a second time, especially if they don't come clean, cut their ass off and leave them off. Ain't nothing wrong with going back around or clean up the this and the that or whatever. Because I'm gonna tell you something, y'all. I definitely don't feel because I supported her business and everything, and I don't feel no type of way like, oh, I got played and all of that. Y'all, that's how you keep your blessings always flowing, whether the land is in famine or not. When you do the hard things, when you make sure it ain't about their values, fuck their values, it's about you as a black sheep and how to position yourself to be good, right? And that's what I'm saying. When you go back and do shit on an honorable way, you know what I mean? Everybody's values ain't gonna line up, but your intuition is gonna tell you what the right thing to do because sometimes the right thing is not the hardest, it's not the easiest thing to do. And so when you um when you you know what I'm saying, when you do that bossed up thing, you put yourself in a position to get godly blessings. That is definitely one of my beliefs, and I know it to be true anyway. But look, y'all, so she stopped answering, y'all. Then it was um, I had sent her some. Oh, I sent her the picture of the guy that I first went to the prom with, and it was just like an inside joke because I've been knowing this lady since the since high school, and um, y'all, she didn't even respond, y'all. This was in January, didn't say nothing. Y'all, when I look back, oh, so then she hit me up uh about five days ago and gonna have a nurse to invite me to some raggedy ass rap concert. Y'all, it wasn't even a top-notch. And don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily saying I just want to go to any rap concert, but y'all know I'm a Jeezy fan, a future fan, a Rick Ross fan. I'm I'm fans of high-end rappers that's kind of like on that grown and sexy side, right? So it might be somewhere you can go in there with your loafers on, a beautiful dress, and it might still be hip hop. I'm not here for the new school that be wearing tight pants and Crocs. No, I don't think so. Well, this guy wasn't particularly that, but he haven't been in the game long enough, and he already has shown that he's ratchet. Y'all, she's gonna invite me to this event with that guy, and at a dust bucket ass event hall. I said, this B got me F up. And listen, y'all, the spirit of the Lord, I'm serious, guys. It just everything just started coming to me like hell no, don't go out there, they'll try to set you up. They'll try to set you up. Why? Because anytime a person is not a man or woman enough to come clean about something that happened and y'all was cool and y'all don't talk for a whole decade, it had to be something. And y'all don't ever say nothing. And then y'all, she was throwing little, she was saying little stuff online prior to that. But I don't respond, y'all, because you can't bark at every dog. When you the black sheep and your boss, y'all, you start to learn your silence is golden. You let people know you're not even worthy of my reaction no more, y'all. That's in the book, too. We the last one to react, even if they in charge. I remember a lady tried to give me a whole list of stuff to add to answer to. I didn't answer that bitch until two weeks later. Why? Because bitch, I'm the boss of me. God and me, you've been pushing me around because I'm the black sheep. Because y'all, black sheep ain't nothing that you ain't gotta wear no title. People can sniff it out about you. It don't matter how you carry yourself. People can kind of sense it's something different about you. They might not even say it's the black sheep, but they're gonna treat you like one. And so I had to let they know, bitch, no. Let me let you know. Because at the end of the day, no, I hey, I got this in order right here. Because I walk like uh Kodak Black say, walk, walk, yeah, bitch. I walk. Well, anyway, so I stopped responding, y'all. You will learn too. You may be at that stage where you know your silence is golden, your energy, y'all reserve your energy on these fools. When they don't treat you how you want to be treated, they don't respect you, they don't they don't respect your presence. I told y'all in the other episode, your presence is a privilege, and a lot of these folks, they was already competing with you and jealous of you, they don't feel it until you slide on them, but they gonna feel it, they're gonna remember it too. They don't act like they don't care, talk their show online. Guess what, y'all? When you come through authentic and you really want people to win, you ain't on that cheap fake ass energy, guys, they're gonna miss you. So let me tell you, but God was just prompting to me, like, man, don't deal with that girl no more, don't deal with her no more, y'all. And let me tell you how it was confirmed. So every day I get me some inspirational word in right, and Joe Oldstein came on. It was a message that I put in my playlist last night, but today that you're getting this recording, I listened to it, and y'all, it said, When God is prompting you, and y'all, that be your intuition, you gotta learn how to develop it, which means when you are prompted to do or not to do something, specifically a lot of times when it's your first mind, follow that. It may not be the case every time, but most of the time it will come through, and then it continues to get stronger as you use it, and then also, guys, you just gotta get a relationship with the creator, man. You gotta pray and you gotta really be on some stuff. It's not a perfect walk, y'all, because I be, you know, I will definitely be on some profanity sometimes. I cuss up a little bit, but God knows that I'm still making huge action steps to do the mission that he wants me to do, right? And so, y'all, that that message by Joe Ostein, and y'all know Joe Ostein. If you don't even like church, I know you know Joe Ostein is is is positive as hell, he likes Cheery and everything, but on that message, he said, Don't ignore the warnings. He said, Don't ignore them, y'all. So energy is a warning. When people energy, when you feel that shift, y'all don't go, don't deal with them folks no more. If it's a certain way or alley or whatever, don't go. If it's event and you feel that energy, something like, man, don't go, man. Now, don't get me wrong, guys. Sometimes it'd be out of fear. I get it, I get it, but a lot of times, y'all, it'd be a prompting that'd be real heavy, and it'd be way, it'd be just like, nah, man, don't do it. And so for me, it didn't come on me right away. Don't get me wrong, I had never forget about how the girl did. But as I continued to try to uh cultivate that relationship again, y'all, it just got heavier and heavier on me. And this last time when old girl invited me to that dust bucket event, y'all, I was just like, What the heck? I put two and two together because y'all, this girl be acting like she top top top tier, high end. That's what trips me out about people. I'ma always represent the bottom no matter how high I go, and people can see your glow, y'all. You ain't got to say nothing, people know you're living good, you know what I'm saying? But it's like if you acting like but people go out their way to put try to put their foot on your neck as a black sheep. So if you're going out your way to show me that you're top tier and all of this, why are you inviting me to this dust bucket event? And then when I ask you about some in Chicago with Twister, because I like Twister, I ask you somebody in Chicago, and you try to laugh it off. And me and you are about the same age, maybe two to three years uh difference. Yeah, see, y'all, that would have been a setup. So, like I said, y'all, the energy never lies, just like chemistry and science, energy has reactions. You don't have to argue with it, y'all. You just simply observe it and what make your next move your best move. Don't even, I'm telling y'all, we're getting in this moment now, y'all, where I want y'all to be clean on them, put your stuff on and make your moves, but we ain't gonna be doing too much talking and reacting. We just popping out and showing them like Kendrick Lamar say when it's time, we just popping out, and what you do is you observing. You might react and respond sometimes, and guess what, y'all? You may not always get it right. You gotta keep on making the moves and doing your study on the black sheet philosophy to really get it right, right? All the time. But guess what, guys? We human, we all gonna slip up, right? Because the lady that I told you that I didn't respond to two weeks later, right? One about two times before that, I had to go ahead and kind of chomper off a little bit, right? I was pissed off about it. It wasn't a heavy chomp off, but I still had to do it right now. On the black sheet philosophy, I should have just not said nothing, but sometimes I truly feel you gotta know when to let people know this is not that. Okay, so let's get into the final pillar, y'all. When people show you who they are, believe them. Why? Because actions, actions speak louder than words, y'all. See, people can say anything with their mouth. Listen, y'all, you got this is it right here. Pillar three, y'all. People can say anything with their mouth. But guess what? Their actions tell you the truth. This is with anybody, family, people like, God, fam, what's up, fam? I love you, fam. Sam, I'm I'm here for you, fam. Blah blah blah blah blah. Right? Soon as you have an event, you start a business, uh, you need somebody to come see you, and they ain't never did it. Or you in a city and your family come in town and they don't even call you. Or you go to their city and you telling them that you coming and you talking to them, and then y'all make plans and they don't never show up. Or y'all have a family reunion and they always the one that don't never have money. Y'all, that's actions. That's actions. People can say anything with their mouth, but their actions tell the truth, especially when it comes to love. Y'all, listen, love is an action verb. Love is not just saying, I got you, I support you. You know, I rock with you. Y'all know people love to say that. I rock with you, boo. Love looks like showing up, supporting what you're doing, being there for you in the hard seasons, and celebrating your wins. And most importantly, y'all, it's consistent. And I'm not talking about reaching out to somebody every day. I'm simply saying, let's say, for instance, there's something's going on, a lot of times your people can count on you to at least text and say, Hey, how you doing? Do you need anything? Or I'm just checking on you. Whatever, whatever it is, it's being consistent. Because guess what? Consistency works on both levels. So if you got somebody that consistently lies, they're a liar. If they consistently say, Okay, it's gonna get better, and it don't get better, you know it ain't gonna get better. Because they actually are showing you, and now y'all listen, words can impress you, but here's the key the patterns reveal people. See, y'all, you just start checking out people's patterns. This is like when people go to work late. I always tell my students, listen, you are your brand. If you go to work late, you got a late brand. If you stay late, you gotta stay late brand. If you look good and dress up, and I don't mean with labels, or if you want them on, but you might have something on straight for family dollar. Certain people can put stuff on and make it look real good. Why? Because they clean and they care about how they look, and when you consistently be that person that's clean and smelling good, that's your brand. That's your brand. If you always looking dusty, always begging, that's your brand. That's why people look at you a certain kind of way. It's just like when you go to certain gas stations and you know it's gonna be somebody up there begging for money. That's their brand. Unfortunately, the panhandlers in the gate that store they didn't get that store location a brand. Man, we already know the store up there with all the people be standing outside. That's their brand. Because it's consistently that action going on. So listen, black sheep, we give deeply, we support people's dreams, we show up for other people, we always extend our loyalty and understanding. But sometimes the hardest lesson, y'all, is realizing that you're the only you was the only one being real at the end of the day, y'all. That realization is powerful, but it's a powerful one, though. When you really take hold to being responsible for your peace, your happiness, your prosperity, it's empowering. It is painful, y'all. I had a homegirl, another one that we used to crack up, y'all. Y'all know I love people that got a good sense of humor, boy. And we was a type that would be laughing until our size hurt, until we laughing, man. Me and the other girl I was just telling you about. So these two particular females, man, this is crazy. But see, as a black sheep, y'all, when you on a different path, a lot of people can't go. And unfortunately, it'd be the people who you thought it would be, and it happens all the time. But y'all, I had observed the friendship, I analyzed the friendship. Y'all, I've been knowing her for 25, 30 years. We've never gone out to eat. Every time I come, every time I see her, it's because I came. And I'm talking about we live almost a thousand miles in between both of us. I come to the events, support your daughter, graduation, um, everything that I could, you know. And y'all, it ain't it have not been one damn percent of nothing returned. Not nothing. Not nothing. Nothing, y'all. That's not a friendship. So y'all know I just hey, I side, I fade the black on folks. I ain't doing no arguing. Because people know what they do, they've just been getting away with it for so long, and they don't care to change it. And you know, and that's really to be honest with you, at that point, with black sheep, we give people the benefit of the doubt. Y'all know that episode too, it that's played out. We give people the benefit of the doubt, but when we get fed up, we don't really give a damn if you wanted to change it or not. We don't even want you to change it because, quite frankly, you disgust us by that point because we really see you for who you are, and we see you for how you really see us. You painted that whole picture, right? So, we don't want to be bothered no more. So, here go to three action steps y'all got for y'all. Number one, identify your core values first. Know thyself, ask yourself what do I truly value most? Is it loyalty, honesty, growth, support? Once you know your values, you will recognize faster when somebody else don't share those same values, and you can slide. Number two, pay attention to energy, y'all. Stop as a black sheep, stop being in places where you are not wanted. I told y'all about that girl that them people that she went and they deleted her, y'all. I'm telling you, that girl seen signs. Ain't nobody gonna ever convince me that that girl didn't see signs and she didn't have a certain kind of energy. That couldn't have come from surprise, y'all. That's crazy. That is so crazy. Every time I think about that, y'all, because that is a story that I hold to myself because I told y'all it's black sheets, we got our soft spots, and we love people, and it's hurtful when we're being betrayed by people we love and we know them, and we've been rocking with them, and we give people chances, guys. That is what happened when you ignore the signs and the energy. Number three, watch potters, not promises. Listen, instead of asking what did they say, ask what have they consistently done? I told y'all, consistency reveals character. And guess what, y'all? They say uh birds of a feather flock together. The girl that I've been knowing for 30 some years and ain't never gave shit. Y'all look, she be hanging out with another drunk because she be acting like an alcoholic. That's how you know birds of I'm like, I'm talking about the shit just came together, y'all. They done took a whole trip and everything. I've been knowing you for a minute. Don't get me wrong, she a family person, but guess what? That other one ain't never been on the scene. But guess what, y'all? Because they both be drinking, and she may not drink no more. But guess what? It's a 95% chance she's still drinking. And when she started telling me about the person she's been hanging out with, y'all, they both had the same traits, and that's who you celebrating. That's who you celebrate. It ain't about family, that's who you celebrate. Why? Because y'all got the same values, yeah, yeah. It's all good. I ain't tripping, y'all. So ask yourself the consistency, show you who they are. Okay, just check out them patterns. See, real people are rare, y'all. Fake people everywhere, man. And y'all know something though. What's funny is people always go out their way talking about, yeah, they got fake lips. Oh, yeah, them some fake titties, oh, that's a fake booty. You know, hey, listen, I'd rather a person have fake everything like that and at least be a genuine person on the inside and have some values that align with mine. I ain't tripping about what you had to go get done, or whatever you need to do to feel to be the best you, go do it. If it's safe or whatever, go do you and be the best version of yourself. If you ain't out here confusing nobody, talking about you identify as a toaster oven and all that stupid crap. Go do what you need to do, right? But when you got people out here, y'all, it's so funny because people think because they don't wear deordering and they don't wear hair extensions and they put on uh cinnamon and honey for for perfume, like they the realest thing out here. Man, y'all don't be some of the most phoniest MFs out here. Funny, y'all, because real is rare. Your values need to be aligned, but y'all, it's in you, it's in you. Even before your family came, it is in you, it's not on you. People be doing so many things, putting these different things and this and that. This is why when you see some people, they might have a label on or jewelry, you can just sense the differences. Some people you can tell they rich, they might not even have a whole bunch of drip, but other people they look cheap, they look like they're trying to do too much, like they trying to be seen. See what I'm saying? Because real is rare and fake is everywhere. And the key isn't finding more real people, it's just stop giving access to the fake ones, y'all. That's all when it comes to you and your life, it ain't about finding the real people because when you move in purpose, they they will be attracted to you. This is why we'll start become we're gonna talk more about being intentional with the self-talk. I've really been doing some wonderful teachings, excuse me. Some I've been doing some wonderful studies about self-talk and how to command your day. Y'all, word is everything, words are everything. I've also even heard the analogy that they are spells. So, um, I just want to make sure that you understand about how you're talking to yourself every day, but not just that, guys, when you're moving in your purpose, the right people will be gravitated towards you, and then when you make an intention to say, you know what, God, send the right people to me in the right time, the right people, and the right place, so that I can move in the work that you created me to do, right? You're gonna start saying things like that every day, guys. I'm gonna put together a list list of affirmations so you can have the most powerful day, and things will start to come together, guys. It's all about consistency, okay? So, listen, y'all. We're gonna go ahead and leave this one right here. If you found this helpful, share it. And also, guys, don't forget, hey, sign up, get that free worksheet, y'all. Get that free download and put that thing in the car. Read up on it, y'all. I don't care if you read it once a week. You gotta remember, y'all gotta put your we already took the rose color glow, the rose cold, the rose colored glasses off. We got our specs on now. Why? Because we're magnifying everything. We're not taking no word for, we're not giving no benefit of the doubt. We are observing your patterns, and it's under a microscopic view, and we'll make a we'll make the adjustments from there, okay? All right, y'all. This is your girl, Athena Renee, and I'm signing off. Talk to you soon. Peace.
