People, I want to welcome you all to the Black Sheep Leadership Podcast. I'm your host, Athena Renee, and this is where the underdogs, the misfits, and the black sheets tap in to turn pain into power and build a life by design so that you can leave a legacy behind. Now listen, if this is your first time tapping in, what's up, family? Because you have tapped into the right room at the right time. And if this is your second time back again, what's up, what's up? Because you already know what time it is. But let's do this quick live chat. Because if you're easily offended, sensitive, entitled, still waiting on somebody to come save you, or you get mad when people call you out and you know you're wrong, this ain't even your safe space. Go ahead and tap out now. But if you're ready to think different so you can move different and level up, stay locked in. Because by the end of this episode, you're walking away with something that you can execute immediately. Now let's get to work. Today, we're gonna be talking about why most people never see what they were sent to build. See, most people have sight, but they have no vision, and that right there is the difference between living and leading. Because sight lets you see things as they as they are, but vision lets you see things as they could be. And if you don't have vision, my friend, you will spend your entire life reacting instead of creating. They had some of the most beautiful quotes about uh vision, and one of my favorites is Helen Keller. If you don't know who Helen Keller is, Helen Keller was a phenomenal woman born in 1868 in Alabama. She was blind and deaf. Now she wasn't born that way, she got an illness that ended up um putting her in that situation. Well, guess what she said about having a vision? She said the most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight but no vision. Okay, and even there's a 2,000-year-old text that says people will perish for their lack of vision. Okay, and it doesn't mean that you'll die because you don't have a vision, it simply means you will just run wild with no life focus doing any and everything. It's similar to people that you see moving on every trend, it never stops. There will always be a trend that comes in, but when you have a vision for your life, you move different. The reason is because, as a black sheep, and a lot of you, you know that you you resonate with being a black sheep from your younger years with your family, majority of the black sheep, you can resonate with it. However, there are instances in life where you can be well over into adulthood and you realize you have been moved into the black sheep category. Okay, and the crazy thing about being a black sheep is a lot of times it's the people that look like you from the same neighborhood that give you the most crap, but one of the uh other revelations of being a black sheep is it doesn't matter where you go, people just they they they point you out, right? It doesn't matter, you can sit in the back. This is something that I've learned as far as being a black sheep, and I really want you to take hold of this. It doesn't matter what you do, how quiet you are, you know. Sometimes as a black sheep, you get so tired of feeling like you're being targeted, right? And so what you end up doing is you say, you know what, I'm gonna take the backseat to life, I'm gonna fall back, I'm gonna move quiet, I'm not gonna say anything, and everything will go well, right? But what you must understand is no matter what you do as a black sheep, somebody is coming for you, right? It's always gonna be something that's gonna go on, and the reason is you were not meant to blend in, you were meant to stand out so that you could create world change or break generational curses on your family, right? Whatever your story is, that is your glory, number one, and that is a thing that the creator will use to take you to the next level, okay? So let's talk about what a vision really is, because a vision is not random, okay, and it's not singular, a vision is specific and it's personal, it's tied to your purpose. So there's two different types of vision. Now, this first one that I'm gonna tell you about is one that I just learned about within the last couple of months, um, being in thinking about it from a prayer standpoint. Um, when I used to go to different prayer meetings in the mornings and things like that, they talked about how they were having corporate prayer, and I really never understood what that was, but I was going in for prayer in general. Well, come to find out, there's something called a corporate vision, okay? And a corporate vision is a vision that is built by many people or a particular group of people, whatever that main vision is. So, for an example, to bring it home so you'll really understand it. Let's talk about Amazon. Everybody knows Amazon has completely changed the game with shopping, right? But the idea came to Jeff Bezos, right, to start Amazon. But the team that stayed with him from 1995 until that guy took off, right? Because you know the vision it starts with just one person most of the time, and then you start getting people that come in and say they'll help you. I'm sure you've experienced this as a black sheep. You get people that start off with you, then they leave. Well, guess what? The people that stick it out with you, those are the people that's a part of that corporate vision because they see the bigger picture, and not only that, there's something internal in them that tells them, hey, I need to be a part of this, this is where I am assigned, and it's like they cannot leave that project, even if they found better opportunities. There's something like an internal fire, right? That's telling them, Hey, this is where you belong. Another instance could be with Google, and and I don't even want to talk about Google, I want to skip to YouTube. Um, because I was looking at a video, and the two guys, it was a white dude and an Asian dude, and they both started YouTube, and he was talking about how in the beginning they only got like five um five views, you know, five people on there, and they were so super excited about it. And then as they continued to increase, they had a small team to help them continue to make the changes. And again, these are people that could have said, you know what, forget this, I'm gone, right? This is not what I expected, this is not what I thought would happen, right? And they could have left, but they stayed with them. Why? Because they understood the assignment and they were a part of a corporate vision, but today I want to focus in on the personal vision, okay. That's the second type, the personal vision, and that that is yours alone because you were born with an assignment, okay. This is the main one of the main core pillars of the black sheep leadership um mentality. You were born with an assignment, okay, and that assignment requires vision to activate it, all right? It requires a vision, okay. Now, the definition of vision, according to our friends at Google, to have a vision means to possess a clear, imaginative, and forward-thinking mental picture of a desired future, purpose, or goal that does not yet exist. Now, listen to this, it acts as a guiding road map, aligning actions, choices, and daily efforts with a long-term goal, providing meaning and direction to life or work. Okay, so a goal. This is so when I talk to you about how the 2,000-year-old text said, My people will perish because of their lack of vision, it's because they do not have anything that they are working on for a desired outcome in their future. Okay, they're just going along with the now, and see a lot of people only think about the now, right? And don't get me wrong, guys, this is not about um neglecting the now because I'm actually at a point in my life where I am really starting to enjoy the now more, right? Taking full advantage of where I am right now, because we can get caught up in thinking about the future, and don't get me wrong, guys, you need to be daily efforts about your future, but the way you continue to work on your future to ensure that outcome is you are taking full advantage of your present moment. That's why they call the present a gift, okay? So, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna drop some pointers to you about vision that I've learned through my study, and this is going to help you figure out if you don't already know, and to come to figure out what your vision is or the things that it's surrounding so that you can align your life with it. Because as we discussed in our purpose episode, and if you haven't um listened to that one, check it out. Your purpose is your why, right? Your purpose is your why, okay, and your vision is the guiding role map to get you to that ending output of that why, okay. So I was doing some research on visions and people that are visionaries, okay. And one thing you must understand the first point I want you to understand, guys, is this when I talked about your assignment requires vision to activate it, you must understand you were created to have a vision, but not only that, to have dominion according to this 2,000-year-old text, you were created in an image of God and to have dominion, and dominion or dominion is a root word of dominate, okay, and dominate or dominion means to have govern, to govern over something, to rule over it. But the word that we want to focus in on today is to master it. So that means there is something in this life that you were born to master, right? Whether that's cooking, whether that's creating products, whether that's speaking, right? Regardless of what kind of speaking it is, there is something that you were brought to planet Earth to master. But the problem is most people they never find it. You know why? Because they have become a jack of all trades and what a master of none. So let's talk about the power of focus and mastery, okay? Because you know, on this podcast, we talk a lot about being successful, and successful is relative. That's the first thing I want you to understand. Success is relative. What do I mean by that? Success is what you deem it to be. You understand? So one person can say, Oh, I'm not successful until I make a million dollars, right? Somebody else might say, you know what? I'm successful when I make 75k every year, and I can work from home and be with my kids all the time. Okay, so success is simply what you depict it is for your life, okay. But here's the thing, here's the game changer. I I don't want you to think about becoming successful. The goal is to become valuable, because when you become valuable, success has to follow you. And some of you might say, Well, what does valuable mean? And I know majority of you know what valuable means, but I want to give it to you in a very practical way because this episode is really going to change your life. If you've been in confusion and just like feeling kind of down and out, and just feeling like you've done so much for other people, or if you've done so much in general and you're not getting um the results that you're looking for, this is the episode for you because what I love about vision is that every day you wake up, it's an it's a new chance to start over again or to begin again and start anew for what you really want to do. So valuable means having high worth, right? Either monetary, we already know that, right? Gold, diamonds, certain vehicles and watches, right? But here's the one that we're tapping into or functional, useful, beneficial, or important. Okay. Thank you. Here's an example. Thank you for that valuable advice. Now, that's the one I want to hone in on because some of you have been through so much in your life, you don't even realize your life story is so valuable to somebody out here that could really use it and you could change their life. This is why, as a black sheep, I want you to understand that you weren't born to stand in, you were born to stand out, so that you can help a specific group of people with your valuable price list. You can't put a price tag on it. This is why the goal is to become valuable and success will follow. Because success is relative, it's not a cookie-cutter thing. So, let me give you another example about this success. I know someone that has a large home, maybe about 6,000 square feet, right? And in their eyes, they are successful. But guess what? When it's time to take different retreats and trips and really go enjoy life, they can't go. You know why? Because they are tied into that thing that they feel makes them successful, and there's nothing wrong with that, but somebody else might come along and say, that's not success, that's enslavement because you can't even make moves because of this one thing you got, right? So let's talk about how to become valuable because when you become valuable, success has to follow. So value comes from focus. Isn't that funny how we're talking about having a vision, and focus is one of the main things that um focus is one of the main things that we are discussing on vision, and focus refers to the center of activity, interest or attention, and the ability to concentrate mental effort on a specific task or object. Okay, it involves directing energy toward a particular goal while eliminating distractions. See what I'm saying? Mental focus. But check this out now. When we're talking about vision, whether we're talking about you building a vision for your life or your sight, vision, right? It says to adjust the lens to bring the image into focus, and focus means to bring it to the center of interest, activity, or attention. Okay, so when you start to focus on it, that is how you become valuable. Okay, focus comes from vision. All right, so when you understand what your vision is, now you can focus on those things. But check this out, guys. Your vision is tied to your gifts. Now, I want to talk about these gifts here for a second because we're living in a world now where people love to compete and compare, right? That's their thing, they gotta compete and compare with any and everything. They want to compete and compare. Oh, my house is bigger. Oh, I did this first, oh, I did this second, so they want to compete and compare, right? But what you must understand is when you tap into the fact that everyone is born with gifts and talents. Some people might be born with one, others might be born with two to three. Here's the key: if you don't master those gifts, no matter how many you have, you won't have the value. Okay, because you want to get to the level of mastery, because see, your gifts are the key to your process, your vision to get to that vision, your gifts are key to the process, your progress in life, and your prosperity. Okay, I'm gonna read that again. Your gifts are the key to your process, right? See, when you tap into your gifts and you put together your process, all these weird people that love to compete and compare, they can't compete and compare. Why? Because it your process came out of your gifts, and see, no one has the same journey in life. We could be in the same lane doing the same thing, but our journey in life has its own unique DNA. So, regardless, we may have a few things in common, but the process is going to be different because our life journey is different. Let's talk about your progress. See, everyone's ambition is different, right? You could have similar gifts. Let's talk about musicians for a second. Let's talk about Michael Jackson and then Mariah Carey and Mick Jagger, right? Just to do the threes. Their process in their progress was. Going to be completely different. Why? Because their life story, their life journey was different. Now, obviously, they all got to different levels of prosperity. But the key is, I want you to understand. It is time for you to recognize your gifts. See, as a black sheep, a lot of times people spend so much time putting down black sheep, and it's unfortunate because some black sheep they don't finally resonate with or accept the black sheep. It's not a label, it's just an assignment, it's a level of assignment. And I just call it black sheep just so you can resonate with what I'm talking about. Um, but it's unfortunate because a lot of black sheep they spend their time, a lot of their life, trying to fit in in places that they were never born to blend in. They were always, as a black sheep, you gotta understand you were always born to stand out. That's why a lot of times you can give it your all and it still don't work out. I've had multiple scenarios where I was given 16-hour days. There was times when I was working 16-hour days doing the regular path of how people become successful. Guess what? I was always that fall guy. You know why? Because life always has a way of trying to get you on course to realize you're not meant to number one, be a follower and trying to blend in, but number two, you have your own path, okay. And what I want you to understand is you need to start to hone in on your gifts, they were given to you for a particular reason, okay. So if you have not already done so and you have not identified that, I want to challenge you today. Number one, write down your gifts. If it's one, awesome, if it's five, cool. Write them all down. That really comes to one of my main pointers that I love to discuss is know yourself, know thyself in any scenario, even if you might say, Hey, I'm a black sheep, but I'm not here to build no brain, uh, break chains and do all these huge things like Facebook, YouTube, and all of these folks. I just want to do something for my family, you know. Uh, I got two kids and a dog. I just want to do something for them, I just want to buy a house. Some of you don't even realize that you buying a home has already broken generational curses on your bloodline. Did you know that? See, that's small to you, but it's huge to your bloodline. You don't even realize it. Some of you don't even realize you getting a nice apartment that you're renting and it's really fixed up nicely. You don't even realize that broke the generational curses on your family. Why? Because you come from a dust bucket environment like myself. Okay, I always tell people I come from the bottom of the basement. A lot of times when I meet people, they absolutely don't believe it. And the thing about it is you can be from the hood, but you don't have to be of the hood, right? Because we're going to talk about environment as well, because a lot of times when you are working on your gifts and focusing on your gifts, your environment really plays a huge role in what you're doing, okay. Just like planting, we always talk about the seed. You are a seed, your gifts and talents are a seed. Everything about humans is in seed form. That's why I always explain to you guys about um the analogy of the farmer. Why? Because one seed can create one plant that can become one tree that will also create can also create a huge orchard. Okay, so you must understand that you are very powerful, the power of one, and this is why you must understand what your gifts are. If you start looking at your gifts as a seed, okay, then you will know wow, what you're carrying is precious, and then you no longer look to other people or try to put yourself in positions where you just don't fit. Okay, I'm gonna bring that home to you really quickly here, then we're gonna move on to the next pointers. Think about Stephen King. Stephen King, because I love I love scary movies, right? Stephen King had uh um walked across a bridge in Maine in the 1960s, I believe, or or early 70s, and his imagination gave him a seed about a story. His gift is a writer, the story was it, right? He wrote a book that was the seed. Okay. Next thing you know, he got part two from that original seed. Next thing you know, he got a movie that was from that original seed. The movie came out in I believe '84, right? That's three things from one seed. Next up, you have a newer version of it that's four things from one seed. Next thing you know, he has a part two of it from one seed, but I'm not done yet. Next thing you know, he got a series from one seed. Do not negate the seeds that you are carrying. Think about yourself, think of yourself as Johnny Appleseed, whether you have one or five, that one seed, just like Stephen King, can create multiple strains of income. This is why I love you guys so much, and I don't ever want you to give up. If you ever find yourself in a place where people are not valuing what you bring to the table, go to another table, hop on one of these episodes and get your energy back up and continue to move strategically because as a black sheep, people don't see it until it's too late, and that's what they need to be. So think about like a bird trying to swim. A bird's not trying to swim, right? A bird just gonna be a master of flying. Well, think about a fish. Now, what have we seen fishes flying? Now, maybe in the dinosaur age, you may have seen some fishes flying, right? But think about a fish trying to fly. See if you bring a fish out of the water, that fish start flapping all over the place. Why? Because its gifts come alive in the water, right? This is talking about being in your element, knowing your gifts, but not only that, and the environment. Because if those two things aren't working together, you won't just struggle, it will slowly drain you. But here's one of the cool things about tapping into your gifts: you can be in a crappy environment, and until it's time to move, because your energy field, like your intuition will tell you when it's time to move. But guess what? If you're tapped into your visions, I mean, excuse me, your gifts and talents, you can be let me give you an example. You can work at a job that's so toxic, but the fact that you're working in the things that you love to do, and your gifts and talents, all of the trouble, those toxic people at the job is nothing to you, it's nothing at all. Why? Because you're working in your talents. Now, let's talk about how purpose and vision work together. So, let's talk about purpose and vision and how it works together. So, remember when I well, in the past episode, and if you haven't tapped in, check it out. But there are several benefits that moving in purpose, um, it grant it gives you, it's like supernatural benefits that only if you live a life of purpose. And as I told you, your purpose is that why, why you're doing what you're doing. Some people they just say their family is their purpose, and there's nothing wrong with that, okay? Nothing wrong with that at all. But as a black sheep, nine times out of ten, your purpose is connected to something completely bigger than you, way bigger than you. If you don't believe me, let's just take a look at a few of our black sheep, right? Steve Jobs, black sheep, okay? Steve Jobs, absolutely black sheep. Do you guys know that black um that Steve Jobs actually went to school for Eastern arts or Eastern religion, philosophy? Nothing to do with pixel animation or technology. Okay, but he started somewhere and continued to move throughout his gifts, okay. Um, obviously, our YouTube, our Googles, all of those things, guys, these people were black sheep. Okay, and I'm saying that to say their why was connected to a group way bigger than just themselves and their families. So there's two things that that purpose gives you. Okay, I have it all of the benefits from living a life of purpose in that episode, and I'll tag it at the bottom. But two of the things I want to tell you about number one, when you live a life of purpose, guys, you get so much energy, you get a whole nother level of energy and a spice for life. That's why when I did that episode, I talked about are you bored with life? Are you bored with the regular day in, day out? Oh, I gotta go to work, oh, it's Monday morning. See, when you live a life on purpose, you know that thing is, you know, that job that you hate, even though you're not gonna be there long, because you know that too, but you know that's your training ground. Even if you're working with assholes, you know that hey, this is just training. So if my life purpose is to feed uh children in third world companies or third world countries, excuse me, you know that guess what the people you're working with, that's just training ground. Because in that mission to do good, I might have to come across a whole lot of a-holes. Because trust and believe, guys, when you're doing positive work, it's not gonna be peaches and cream. Why? Because just the laws of gravity when you're going up is harder at any given time. This is why it's important for you to have the right environment because it's nothing to come down and it's nothing to stay down, you can just lay down and get down and don't do nothing else, right? And life is is don't get me wrong, it's not gonna necessarily be easy, but it's absolutely easier than trying to level up. Okay, and the second thing that purpose does for you the benefit of is it preserves you. Have you ever run into people that you know for a fact has been through hell and back, and they still they don't look like nothing like they've been through? This is really the black sheep's black sheep, you've been through so much stuff. If you would have absorbed the crap that people tried to dish your way, who knows how you would look. But you know what? Even when you had not, even when you didn't have everything figured out, life. I'm always giving the glory to God. That's me. You do what you need to do, but God preserves you because he knows the assignment on your life, he is waiting on you to activate it. But guess what? Until then, until then, he preserves you. Okay, so the purpose of your life is your why. Okay, but the vision directs your life. Remember when we talked about vision, how vision gives you the uh the direction, it tells you what you need to focus on. It's the guiding roadmap that helps you align your actions, your choices, and daily efforts. Okay, see that purpose gives you your why, your vision shows you the where. And here's the truth: vision is so huge. Remember, I told you it's way beyond you and your family. It's huge, it's bigger than you. And with that being said, vision doesn't come all at once, it comes in phases because if you saw everything at once, guys, you wouldn't be able to handle it. You will be like, What? I remember I was listening to a um pastor talk about how they had um created like or dug like 50 whales in third world countries, and he said, if I would have known all that, that I was gonna be all over the country. He said, I'm a boy from West Virginia, right? He talks about it a lot, but he said, if I would have known what God had for me, I would have tapped out early. I would he said it would have scared the crap out of him, the living daylights. This is why your vision comes in phases, because if you saw it all, everything at once, you wouldn't be able to handle it, so you get it in pieces, steps, and levels, and every level requires growth. That's why we say with new levels comes new devils. See, a lot of us we love to talk about we on another level, we on another level, and that's good to congratulate yourself, but the real ones really know that every time you go to a new level, you got a new devil, you got a new uh I heard one guy saying the prize that you get for passing one level is the test for the next level. And I said, Whoa, that was deep. You know why, guys? Because even on video games, you notice how video games, every level that you pass, it gets what? It gets harder, it gets harder, and that's the way life is. Okay, so let's talk about this next point about vision, one of these benefits, another benefit of having a vision. I absolutely love this one. This is gonna give you peace and power at the same time. Vision eliminates competition. Yeah, vision eliminates competition. See, when you're in your own vision, like I said, guys, I don't care if you say you just want to be a team lead of the warehouse. When you have your own vision, your vision is for-thinking mental picture of a desired future or goal that you have not touched yet, right? And you understand that your daily actions, your choices, and it requires daily effort. When you're in your own vision, your own lane, you don't compete, you don't have time to compete. You know why? Because no one else has your assignment, nobody else has your vision, and if they do, your life journey is so unique, it's a one and done deal, it's customized to your DNA. Even if you guys were going for the same position, regardless of who gets it or not, your life experience is going to be different. So vision eliminates competition. See, this is why I always tell my students when you meet people that always want to compete and compare, oh, I want to compete. Or they secretly compete with friends, and it's not like a sport, or you guys didn't agree upon it like we're gonna match each other's set sets and reps for exercising, right? This is proof that number one, they don't have a vision of their own. They don't have a vision, they just out here living with trends, right? And here's another one you must understand this as a black sheep. This is a gem for black sheets that way you don't ever have to be, don't feel bad anymore about friends and family that want to compete and compare. Number one, they don't have a vision of their own, number two, they're insecure. It's proof because if you gotta compete with me and I don't even know we're competing, but you're gonna say little slick and sly things to me that confirms we're competing, you are threatened by my existence, and I'm not even thinking about the same crap you're thinking about. Why you're insecure, why you don't have a vision of your own, and at the end of the day, competition only exists when you're out of alignment. So when you get you get around these people that want to compete or compare, and you guys haven't even discussed it like it's a tennis match, you are out of alignment. Get away from around these folks because when you're in vision, you focus, you build, you execute, you're not something about other people, you're not you're not stopping to watch other people. If you are, it's all about trying to be better for yourself. You might get some hacks, right? There's nothing wrong with being inspired, but you're not competing and comparing to try to bring somebody else down. Vision requires that you see beyond the present. See, a lot of people they just keep talking about what's going on now. Look at the news, y'all. They keep talking about think about all the people that's running around protesting and all of these different things, and you know why, guys, because they don't have a vision for their own life. See, if you really understood everything that's going on right now, things change, there's different cycles. You know what you would be doing, you would be focused, hyper-focused on your life, so that what? So that no matter who's the president, no matter what country you're in, you're gonna be okay. You and everybody that you care about, you're gonna be okay. You're not gonna waste your life unless you're called and that's your assignment, but you're not gonna waste your life steady going out and protesting about different things, and you know you don't have your household together. I'm telling you guys, you have to start thinking about your vision for yourself first. Because just like when you're on a flight, the first thing they tell you to do is secure your own air, secure your air, secure your safety, secure your back first, and then move on to help other people. So having a vision requires foresight, but here is what strong leaders do, and this is where the black sheep experience really can tap in to take you to another dimension. Number one, you have hindsight because of what already happened, right? You know your past, you like, you know what? I know my past, so I already know how certain things work out. I understand that sometimes family will be the last ones to support you. So I'm going forward, I have a vision, I understand with my hindsight, so that means that if I'm leveling up or making a move because of the knowledge I have in my hindsight, I might not tell them because I'm going to be moving more intelligently, right? Next, you need to have the insight. Insight is for what you understand right now, right? So, for an example, you have your hindsight, and now you're in your present time because you understand what happened to the past, but now your insight is well, you know what? Because of all the things I've gone through, where I'm at now, and the time that has passed, I do understand that I can tell some people, but maybe I need to test them first before I tell them the full vision, right? So I won't annihilate all family because of my hindsight, but my insight has shown me that some people really want to see you in. So I'm not gonna just annihilate everybody because of what my past is. See, a lot of people let their past paralyze them, and you don't want to do that, you want to use that insight from your experiences that you have in the present to combine that with the wisdom to build your foresight, and that's what you're building next. You have a big goal for the future, your insight from what you've collected over the years, plus now, and your hindsight. This is how you go to the next level, the next dimension. You use everything that you've been through to get to where you're going. You don't let your past paralyze you. You use all of it. That's why I tell you guys, don't be afraid or don't be ashamed of your story. Now, here's the thing: everybody don't deserve your story. Now, don't get it twisted and start just rambling off to any and everybody about everything you went through. No, a lot of the things that we've been through as black sheep, other people would have deleted themselves. The fact that you made it through is proof positive that you're here for something bigger. So we're not gonna be telling other folks about what we went through, and they haven't even proved themselves to being solid because I'm gonna tell you what people do sometimes, specifically with the black sheep. People act like they're down for you, and they'll do two one of two things. One little thing can go left, they'll use your information against you, or two, they'll run with it and copy. And don't get me wrong, it might look successful, but it flops. Why? Because it doesn't have that authentic spirit behind it, which leads me to the next pointer about vision. Your vision will be tested. Let's keep it real. If your vision is the real deal, it will be tested. Tested how pressure will come, doubt will come, resistance because vision has to be proven. See, this is why I tell you guys don't get into that competing, comparing ever. Because there's gonna be tests to come prove it that you. You are the real deal that you really believe in what you say and the fact that you really lived it, you won't stay in it. This is why you see people that they'll start something and they don't finish it. But have you ever been working on something and you're like, man, I'm so tired of this crap, but you just can't give it up, you just can't stop, guys? That was me. I've been so passionate about helping black sheets, but not only that, black sheep and small business owners. Because if you don't know, small business owners they employ over 48. Specifically, I'm just talking about America right now, but they employ 48% of Americans. So why wouldn't I want them to succeed and be beyond successful? Right? And everything that I've gone through, it's been a hellacious ride. Um, a lot of you may or may not know, but I didn't touch six figures until the person that I wanted to celebrate with had passed away. That's how hellacious and crazy. See, a lot of people in in the um in different industries, they talk about sacrifices, and soon as someone passed away, and oh yeah, they made that sacrifice, it's really disrespectful. But what you must understand is life is going to give the sacrifice to see if you really want it. This is just how it's set up. This is why the 20% population, which are black sheep, will always make 80% of the money. A lot of people talk about them ruling the earth and all those. I don't necessarily get into that, but I want you to understand the black sheep, whether you love them or hate them, they are the 20%. You know why? Because in the beginning, their life was hell, and even if the money was passed down, someone in that family paid the price in hell. I'm gonna give you a prime example and we're gonna move on. Think about John D. Rockefeller. A lot of people talk so much trash about that man and his family, and you know, nobody's family is perfect, you know, nobody is all good or all bad. But when I started doing the research on John D. Rockefeller, did you know that him and his mother was going to church? They're from Ohio, they were going to church and trying to be good people, and his own damn daddy was still their offering money. His own dad was a trickster and was still their money from the mother and his son. So John D. Rockefeller said, Wait a minute now, we gotta break this, guys. That's a black sheep, that's not somebody that was passed down generation. Now, regardless of what he did with it and the different things, guys, he has a really, really interesting story. Okay, and as a black sheep, you need to understand, guys, being nice and oh sweet, guys, that don't do nothing, that gets you ate up and used. I've been there, done that, but see, that season is over for me, and I just want you to understand that your vision will be tested because every new level comes with a new test. Your vision has to be proven, not to other people, forget them. We don't need their validation. We're already outsiders. The vision has to be proven to yourself because when you can push forward with something that's not working, that's how you know it is truly your vision, and when those new levels come with the new devils and the new tests, that's where most people quit. You know why? Because they were not called to it, they were not committed to it, it was not authentic to them. But here's the real threat to your vision. Number one, the greatest threat to your vision is not people, it's distractions. It's distractions. I was listening to something and it talked about how the devil doesn't have to destroy you, and you don't have to believe in the devil, okay? I'm just giving you the analogy. It said the devil don't have to destroy you physically, only thing it needs to do is distract you, distract you from your vision. I don't care if you're trying to get a forklift certification, the enemy comes along and laughs at you because you dropped a pallet. I don't care if you want to just be a better father, and you said I'm gonna start off by getting my GED at night school, then you see the dust buckets of neighbors on the corner when you're going to night school with your books and your backpack, they're laughing at you. They are a distraction. Okay, then you have inconsistency. This is why you gotta see who you're running with. Sometimes to focus in, you need to focus by yourself. You really do until you have people that are certified that will keep you on path because people's lack of discipline and inconsistency, it will rub off on you. And I had to realize that I was talking to a young lady and she's really sweet, but I observed that she was scatterbrained, and it was so aggravating to me because I'm in a point in my life where I am focused. I have helped everybody, always wanted to be the helper. Come on, we can do it. Guess what? You're not called to everybody. That's why I'm here for the black sheep. I'm not just here to tell everybody they can do it, because some people become nothing more than an a distraction. You must understand that vision without execution is just imagination, and imagination without action changes nothing. So let's get into these three black sheep action moves that you can take right now. You can start today. Number one, identify what you're meant to master, guys. Listen, stop trying to do everything. What is your gift? What do you do naturally? What would you do for free with or without money? Yes, you know you can get paid from it, but you love it so much. What would you do for free? Number two, build your vision in phases. Some of you might already know what you're born to do, you might already know what your talents are. Okay, cool. You're starting to master those things. Now you want to build your vision around that. Don't overwhelm yourself trying to do everything and see everything. Focus on the next step only. See, when you can focus on that one step at a time, that is how you master it. Master that one step and move on to the next. That's how you become unstoppable, right? Because clarity comes through movement. Don't let people be scatterbrained and get you on the scatter brain stuff. Don't let people get you unfocused and distracted. Stay focused because clarity comes through movement. Number three, protect your focus like your like your life depends on it, because it does. See, remember when I was talking about how I would be talking to this young lady, and I'm talking about she will try to have three different conversations on the phone at one time. Uh, you're trying to do everything at the same time. And I told her, I said, You scatterbrain, you need to stop that. All this multitasking, if you're not a pro at multitasking, because I understand they talk about multitasking, and I'm gonna say this and then we're gonna be closing. Listen to me very carefully. If you are not strategic with your multitasking, what do I mean by that? Let's say, for instance, you said I want to get these three things done in the next hour, okay? Cool, no problem. That means you need to strategically say, I can only spend 20 minutes per task to get them all done. If you're not gonna get strategic like that, you are wasting time, you're scatter brain, and there is nothing wrong with doing one thing at a time, right? One thing at a time and master that one thing and then keep moving. Because what you focus on is what you build, and what you build becomes your life. Now, listen, you don't find vision, you uncover it. Okay, because it was always there, it's in you. Black sheep, you want to know why a lot of people don't like you and don't even know you? Because it's in you, it's not on you. You want to know why people don't like you and they got way more than you, they got all the support, but they still hate on you. It's in you, not on you. And a lot of times people can see your light. Why? Because your light, your inner light, it irritates their demons. Okay, you uncover your vision because it was always there. But when you have a lot of haters around you sometimes and you're not focused, it becomes buried on a distraction, under fear, and under other people's expectations. This is why that book called The Art of Not Giving a F. Because you can't give an F of what folks got going on. And once you see it, once you see your vision, you can't go back. Because now you know you were never meant to follow people. If they're not on the same mission as you, you're not meant to follow them. You were meant to build and lead. Okay? Now listen to me very closely, y'all. You must remember in all by getting get understanding. Why? Because information is everywhere, but execution is rare. Until next time, I'm your girl, Tina Renee, and I'm signing off. Take care.
