What's going on, Black Sheep family? I'm your girl, Thea Renee, and I want to welcome you all to the Black Sheep Leadership Podcast. Today we're going to be talking about how one move, one, one move can rewrite your entire story. Never underestimate what one decision can do. You know, one of the biggest lies people believe is that they need a crowd to start, they need more support, more money, a bunch of followers, and they really need connections. But truth being told, history keeps proving something very different. And what is that difference? One person can change everything. One person with one idea, one seed, one mindset shift, one decision, one moment of courage. That's all it starts, that's all it takes to start changing your life. Today we're going to talk about deeper about the power of one. And you know the thing when we talk about the power of one, because like I say, as black sheets, we do start off a lot of times. We don't have any support. And let's be clear: when you have a lot of support or some support, it do make you feel a little bit better in what you're doing, it do make the road just a little bit easier. But guess what? At the end of the day, even if you don't have it, that does not mean that you can't get what you need to get, or you won't go or make it to where you're trying to get to. I actually believe that if you didn't get support, if you were not assigned a certain type of support system, that was because the creator already knew you was made different and you wasn't gonna let that stop you. Don't get me wrong, your feelings are valid that you're like, wow man, I wish I had some support. But here's the cool thing. Some of us, if we don't let, if we don't let what our expectations stop us from starting anyway, some of us we get the support system along the way because it's all a part of the journey. See, and so it really starts with one decision, the decision to say, you know what, I'm going after it, I'm worth it. Most people underestimate decisions, but your entire life right now, my entire life right now, is the result of past decisions. Now let's let that sink in. Your life and my life right now is a result of past decisions. See, when I started thinking about it like that, I said, Man, because it's not just one decision, it's an accommodation, it's a collection of decisions that we've made in the past. So then if I said, Man, if it's one decision at a time, I start to look at everything like that. One relationship can change your life. I'm sure many of you can relate to that, whether it was a romantic relationship or a friendship. You can meet people one time and it'll change your whole life, and that's negative or positive. One opportunity can change your direction. The company that I contracted with at the height of COVID-19 changed the trajectory of my life. It also shifted my paradigm because at that time I stepped into the realm of knowing what it felt like to make six figures. I started to understand and be around groups of people that buy homes that cost $500,000 in a meal and up in cash. Okay, paradigm completely shifted. Why? Because that one opportunity changed my life. One mistake taught you something valuable. We definitely have gotten in, you know, gotten into different troubles and making mistakes. One yes, one no. Listen to me, y'all. One move can rewrite your whole future. This is why you will always hear me say, make your next move your best move. But the dangerous part about this is people wait too long to make powerful decisions because they think small actions don't matter. Some people waiting on a big bang, they waiting on a big sign in the sky, they waiting on the big president or whoever they think is gonna come through when it'll finally the coach will be clear. The coach will never be clear, but that's why you start with the power of one, because small minds think that small actions don't matter, but they do. We're gonna go back to the seed principle. You know, I'm gonna continue to talk about the seed principle because we see it every day. You know, we're living in a time now where everybody got an opinion on everything, and some people know the stuff they're saying is just complete garbage. I mean, even if we took spirituality out of it, just on a logical standpoint, it don't even make sense, right? But just on the sake of saying I'm right or I just need to be heard, or it's a free world, you know, people love to say that, right? So it'll just say something really crazy. But I want you to understand no matter what, the seed principle is gonna be here to stay. And if you don't know what that is, it simply says this you're going to reap what you sow. And sowing in the seed, the seed uh principle, it is seed to get that sow, to get that harvest, is seed, time, and harvest. And people sleep on the seed principally because a seed is small. See, listen, y'all. This is why when I see people talking trash about people that finally have made it to a point of wealth and they can enjoy this luxurious lifestyle, this is why sometimes I protect them. Don't get me wrong, guys. I'm staying more in my lane. Well, people get angry at folks when they get rich all of a sudden and they know they want to tell them how to spend their money. But what they don't understand is even those folks started a seed. It was a seed. So where were you when I was planting this little bustard seed? Before the mustard seed became a huge, powerful tree. Where were you? Right? So this will always tell my people, my black sheep family, this is why, as you continue to start bringing in your harvest, you've been working all this time, don't be feeling bad for folks. Because when you was out there uh fertilizing your soil from all of your seeds, you was making sure they was good, making sure they was in the right environment, the sunshine, watering them fertilizer, right? All the shit that people was giving you was used as fertilizer for your harvest. So when it's your time to eat, the creator is gonna make sure you're gonna eat when it's your time to eat. Don't be feeling bad because everybody has the opportunity to sow seed. Everybody comes with precious seed. And look, people just look over it because number one, the seed is small, and a lot of times it comes in one. But I'm gonna always remind you one. Why? Why one? Think about Red Bull, one that's a billion-dollar company, one product, five-hour energy shot, billion-dollar company. Why? One product, one decision to say, I'm gonna make this one thing and I know this is gonna work. We're gonna craft it, we're gonna perfect it until it hit one thing. That janitor that worked for Fritoly, that came up with hot Cheetos, one idea he had been sitting on it that whole time. He said, Eff it. He made that one decision to take that one risk and tell that one company, hey, this is my idea right here. And guess what? Whatever that man's name is, I think it's like Jose something, whatever that, he's somewhere living good because he took his one chance. He had been sitting there for a while. He was a janitor and he had been waiting to calculate, he had observed and looked, but guess what, y'all? He executed. We've been talking a lot about executing. Why? Because you must understand that even though the seed is small, the future inside it is massive. They got all kind of flaming hot stuff now. Red bull started off with one, but red bull got all kinds of flavors now. An acorn, just like an acorn becomes a tree, an apple seed becomes a whole orchard. Y'all, that's so fire. That is just so beautiful. That's God, that's so generous of the creator. Why? Because that is proof that we're here to grow. But listen, not only that, y'all, we are here to multiply. That's why I be telling you guys if you check out a particular business scheme or model or relationship with people, anything of any kind, if it's not about multiplying in a healthy way and doing things right, if it's about death and destruction and division, a lot of times, listen, that ain't it. You gotta discern yourself, but I'm just telling you, that's proof positive. We're talking about the seed principle. How one darn apple seed, one apple can create a whole orchard. You know, an orchard means you got several rows of trees kicking out all kinds of fruit, but that is proof that the creator wants you to have more, way more than you need to have. But it starts with the one seed, and you know, I recently had learned that one bell pepper. If you cut open a bell pepper, I love cooking with onions and bell pepper. But I've literally just learned that one bell pepper, you know, it's the bell pepper got so many seeds in there, it's probably about a hundred seeds and one bell pepper. But check this out one bell pepper can produce seeds capable of creating a harvest after harvest, a lifetime of growth started from one pepper that you bought, one pepper that you bought for a dollar. Guess what? Two dollars if you got organic, and this thing will provide you a harvest of organic or whatever you purchase of bell pepper for the rest of your day. But see, that's how purpose works too. This is why I've been talking about listen, y'all. Tap into your purpose. I've been talking about it for so I'm talking about from day one, from day one, before it even got popular, because your life purpose, your life's destiny, it ain't going nowhere, and it's not ruled by the world economy. See, everything that's going on is cycles to it. We talk a lot about that, y'all, with the numerology. Check us out on those particular resources as well. But guys, it's cycles to everything, it cycles to different economies. That's a part of life, it's cycle. We got life cycles. So when people always talk about I want things to be the way it used to be, whether you were good or up or down, life is like a roller coaster. Everything has cycles. But check this out when you're dealing in your life purpose, it is not on the world of economy, it's not on this world economy list because it was created for you before you touch down. So that means anytime you tap into your purpose, whether it be the business, the podcast, the book, the content, the dream, well, it you know it started small, but the fact that you stepping out on it, it's about to multiply at that time. The universe will make room. Why? Because you was assigned to do that, and however you when you sow that seed, and however good that you fertilize it and manage it and be a stored over, that's how it continues to multiply. The universe gotta pay you because God created everything as a seed, and I'm showing you through nature, you look at that's why when people start talking about oh, it's okay for this to be and this, and X plus X is no, you can look at humanity and tell it's about multiplicate multiplication, being fruitful, not just pumping out kids in everything you do. That's why when you in relationships, whether it be people you cool with, even family, even in romantic, when it's unbalanced, you because you're not giving, you showing, you sowing seeds, you showing your kindness, your love, your attention, and you ain't getting nothing. Why? Because anything that you don't feed, anything that you don't sow into, give into water, make sure it's good, it dies. It dies. But let's talk about the black sheep advantage. See, a lot of times black sheep struggle with loneliness sometimes because we often start alone, right? And I give my black sheep flowers, man, because we will. If you have gotten over that part of being a black sheep where you like, how and why me and all of that, you get to that point where you like eff it. I at least gotta count myself in, I at least gotta count me in. Because so we often start alone, we're gonna build it before support arrives. Listen, if you a person that builds stuff before the help comes and before people arrive, man, listen, you gotta know you built from a different claw, you cut from a different claw. You gotta know that. Okay, we believe before validation shows up. Y'all, this is a black sheep advantage. You like shoe good. My my back always been against the wall. What do I gotta lose? I'm going forward, yo, for real. Y'all, in these last three to six months, I've really been tapping into, you know, people been down in Drake and talking trash, but I give Drake his prize, but you know, he's a Scorpio. But he keeps coming back to let y'all know hey, I ain't gotta be lyrical, but I'm gonna stay with this work because see you can't stop somebody that won't give up and ain't scared of work. And I ain't even talking about at a job, I'm just talking about in general, you can apply it anywhere. That's why they say hard work beats talent, but at the same time, you gotta be strategic with your work, right? But I was talking about Drake because Drake talks about that. YOLO, you only live once, y'all. We can debate about the afterlife, but on this earth, though, we only get one of these guys. There's no do-overs, you can't rewind it. So that's why I'm talking about purpose and black sheep. I'm just listening I'm encouraging you to discover it. Don't get in this this uh this trend of following the herd and always talking about the economy. They was talking about the economy in the 1980s, they was talking about in the 1960s, the 70s, the 90s, the early 2000s when the internet boom. And listen, yeah, sometimes there are things that haven't happened before, but then sometimes they really have. We just didn't think it would have happened again. What am I saying? It's time to start taking advantage of the things that you went through as a black sheep. Don't wait before things to show up before you start getting ready for something. Stay ready, plant your seeds now, right? If you don't have a security or emergency fund, I don't care if it's a thousand dollars. If you can, start it now. If you haven't been stocking up food or water or whatever, start thinking about it now, right? Because we're not waiting on nobody to validate us about nothing. But what I want you to understand is hear me carefully. But just because you start doing something alone, it does not mean you're gonna stay alone. See, that's the part that's the important thing, that's the main piece of it, right there. See, it's your vision, so you gotta start it. You're the one, you the one that gotta make the decision to say, you know what, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it, and I'm not looking back. You the one, and when you when you plant that seed, when you start it, this is when people will start to gravitate for towards you. But see, a lot of leaders, a lot of black sheep, they quit too early because they mistake isolation for failure. A lot of people they do this all the time. But look, think about the plant, think about the plant. The seed was planted, right? But where did the seed go as soon as we're talking about growth? It went in the ground, it was isolated, it was isolated, and check this out germination means you are required to go down before you can come up. This is why I always tell you guys, too. When y'all out here listen to people out here in the world podcasting because everybody got an opinion, make sure you're talking to somebody that have really everybody ain't gonna get it from the mud mud, but make sure you are out here dealing with folks that have really built it from scratch and got receipts that and when I say receipts, I'm not just talking about their bank account, like they have conviction in what they have built, and not just in business, even in friendships. If a person hasn't been tested with hard times, hey yo, listen, you don't know what you're dealing with because life will throw something at you. This is what I always talk to y'all about getting with people that got emotional intelligence, know your people, whatever you need to do. Why it will be a real bad thing to get in a tight situation and you with somebody that gets mad about stupid stuff, you with somebody that can't keep it they cool when y'all when y'all had a disagreement, but y'all are trying to stay alive. It's a real bad thing, okay. But what you must understand is when you sold that seed, you the one you had to go down to come up. Why? Because isolation is the preparation, it's the preparation that you need. It's almost like the fire you're going into the furnace. All the impurities, and the impurities could be the stuff that we learned as a child, stuff that people told us, even stuff we started telling ourselves, bad habits that we picked up, right? Because sometimes the vision has to develop quietly before the world recognizes it. Yeah, this is why I cringe when people be so pressed to show you what they got every time. Don't get me wrong, you get you can have your circle and you be kind of proud. Like, you know, when you come from the bottom for real, it was a Brazilian guy, he was so funny, and he was like, uh, somebody was saying, I guess, a comment on one of his posts because he got a Lamborghini, and they said, Real, they said, 'real wealthy people,' they don't show their wealth. And he said, B, I'm from the slums of Brazil. I didn't have nothing. And now I have this, I'm getting the car, I'm showing my stuff off. And I was like, Well, I'll be honest with you guys. I felt that. I felt it. I felt it in obviously with moderation because I'ma always tell my people, man, dream big, man, forget all that crap, man. Yo, low, why am I gonna dream small? And then if I came from the bottom, like seriously, like make that make sense. That's why people just aggravate me when they start talking about, oh, everything's not money. Uh listen, if you want to live on a lower level, whatever that level is, stay there, stay there and do that. But for the rest of us, let's see what this thing has. But I really agree with that guy though, when he was like, I'm showing my car off, or I got I'm getting the car, right? And I was meaning, I like I agree with him on the um level of if you work hard, man, get your stuff. But I have moderation with that because unfortunately, guys, we just got to keep it a stat that in this world, you know, when you start leveling up and being successful, it breeds it breeds envy. And when you from the bottom, you hurt a lot of people's feelings that you actually made it out. Why? Because they don't they don't believe in themselves, so you know they don't believe in you, so you gotta be real careful with that. But yes, get the car. I've I absolutely felt that. But like I said, guys, sometimes a vision has to develop quietly before the world recognizes it because people don't appreciate you. See, you a genius already, but your family didn't even recognize it. You was in the house with them. It's people right now that I was listening to, and he was talking, they was asking about his brother, and he said, I don't know where he's at. And this he said, we was in the same house together. Clarit Clarissa Shields talk about a lot how she comes from a two-parent household, and she said, Her and her sister, they don't even talk. She said her sister treated a certain type of way because she didn't recognize her sister's greatness, and then people start to get jealous. But anyway, the power of one mindset shift. Sometimes your life changes not because of the environment change, though, it's really about your mindset. This is what I love about everything in general, is because the decisions it starts with a mindset, and nobody can change a mindset but you. This is what I love about mindset that how you can literally change your life with mindset. It really just wipes away any excuses for somebody to say, Oh, I don't have access to this. Your mind is always with you. You literally can change your mindset. And you know how it takes 21 days to start a habit. And then the girl was saying it takes about 90 days to biohack your body and do these different things when you start taking supplements. Um, a mindset shift can start today, one day, instantly. One realization can free you. You can walk into an environment and you will see some people doing some things, and you it clicks like, whoa, I could really do this, right? Like I remember um it was a group that I was in, and it was like it was network marketing. And just for the record, guys, network marketing is not a scam. Um, that company is it America, or I can't really, I don't know why I can't ever. Oh, Amco. I think it's Amco. Amco got some great products. Let me just say that. First of all, they are they've been the goat with getting clean products, energy stuff, guys. I really love energy drinks and stuff like that, but not like I don't do rail bulls or anything like that anymore. I'm just talking about stuff that's sugar-free and be having the B12 and all of that. But Amco, I believe that's their name, man. They've been the GOAT. Well, anyway, it was network marketing and they had a formula where if you knock on this is just me making this up, just to give you the context of it. If you talk to 25 people every day, in that 30 days, you'll get like six people that will sign up in your program. And basically, when they talk about pyramid scheming, because it's not a scheme. If that company is scheme, they're a scheme. But the actual concept is not basically if you start, it's just like starting a business. If you start your business and you bring people along, they're not gonna get the same pay as you, they're gonna get a cut, they're gonna still eat good, but they're not gonna get what you get. Why? Because you the one. Like, I don't know why people always keep acting like we equal, equal, equal. If you don't put in like somebody else, bro, you're not should you should not be getting the same amount of money as somebody else. That's just period point blank, man. I don't know why folks are always saying, Yeah, we're equal, everybody's equal. Some people can lose weight, you can do the exact same diet. You could probably go for more extreme, they'll still lose more weight than you. Now are you gonna sit there and argue with their body, with their genetics and their DNA? So we gotta really just sometimes like that mindset mindset shift, where like I was telling you guys about Amco. The guy was like, if you call, you you get six people on, basically what I was telling you. Sorry, you'll get the six people on. So you have you then two people to be under you, right? They'll get a percentage of whatever they're doing, and you will always get a percentage of what everybody else gets. Okay, and I'm saying that because you when I walked into that organization, I saw like, whoa, people really are becoming six figure earners and million-dollar earners with this because they actually had a formula calling folks. But the whole thing is, and this is with anything in life, you know you're gonna get more no's than yes. Do you want it bad enough to hear all of these no's all day long to finally get maybe one yes? If you're only getting six signups for that whole month, I'm not saying you're only gonna get six yeses, but you know what I'm saying you don't understand what I'm saying, right? But when I went through all of these different things with this company and then I went to the convention, y'all, the paradigm shift changed, and the same thing can happen for you. This is why you must put yourself around people that can change your life, like even if they don't deal with you, even I mean, and when I say change your life, guys, I'm not always talking about money, I'm just saying show you something different, or they might share something with you that they accomplished, and you like, huh? Like for real? You know what I'm saying? Because that one realization can free you, one lesson can mature you. Man, listen, y'all. I remember back in the day, like when the online dating scene first popped off. Me and my homegirl was talking about the chat line, the data line, y'all. It was just so funny just talking about it because it really wasn't a super long time ago. It was actually in the 2000s, right? And we were just saying how we would meet people, meet them, meet up, and you know, think everything was cool, right? And then you started seeing how people was getting knocked off from online dating. Guess what? One lesson can mature you, one truth can wake you up. You start seeing how shit ain't sweet out here, okay? Even with I'm gonna give you another thing. A lot of times people wanna, you know, they were still living in the in the um in the 70s and the 80s when they was talking about I'm gonna be at this job for 50, 60 years, right? And then they started saying that ain't the that ain't the uh world we live in no more. And they started seeing how jobs were literally shutting down, moving on over overseas. That was one truth that was waking folks up, and this is why perspective matters. See, a powerful mind sees opportunities where weaker minds only see obstacles. I was telling you guys, you know, obstacles are like uh Marcus Maria, what is the name? Marcus Aurelia says, I believe, obstacles are the way. See, when people having a problem a lot of times, that's a way where you can come in and figure out how to solve it, but also get paid. Um, uh, I was talking to someone about careers, and they were just saying, just think about it like this the people that get paid the most money are the ones that solve the bigger problems. So that's why if you at the fast food restaurant and you still on back drive, not even on back drive, because you're dealing with money on back drive, but if you still in the back just washing dishes, and if you're getting paid, whatever you get paid, let's just say ten dollars, that's because that's the problem you're solving. That's the problem that you're solving. And instead of arguing with the government about minimum wage, what you do is become a better problem solver. Decide what problem you want to solve, whether it be going to a warehouse and bringing the trucks in the yard, right? Maybe you want to start doing dispatch, who knows? But when you start thinking about that, things really will shift for you and you will see larger opportunities. But check this out, black sheep, because this one is for you. One person can shift a bloodline. Let's go deeper. I keep telling y'all the black sheep, you are the one, you are the one person in your family. You think different, you the one that's gonna break the cycles, you start businesses. I don't care if you done start a 10 business right now, you still the only one in your family that even had the guts to start it and stop it and start again. You the one, you the one who've been trying to heal and want everybody to come on, guys. You want to have a powwow with your family, but they're not feeling it. Why? Because you the one, you the one that tried to build, even though nobody wanted to build with you. You the one, you're the one that's going to change the future for your bloodline, and that's why your journey feels heavy sometimes because you're carrying more than just your own future. See, this is one of the things about it, guys. As a black sheep, you know you the one when you think past you, regardless if you have kids or not, you think past you, me and mine. You think past that. That really is one of the things that's how you know God has chosen you to be a big worker. I don't even talk a lot about the chosen one and all of that. I like to talk about it from the angle of a black sheep because you really carry a lot. When you the chosen one, don't get me wrong, you can be chosen, but that's more on the on that on the realm of now you got your crown, right? But before you even get a crown, it's certain criteria, and one of them is when you think beyond yourself, you think beyond yourself. I see it all the time. I encounter people all the time as a black sheep. You know, we give, give, give so much and all these different things. And I truly believe as long as you don't get bitter and you get smart about your giving, things always work out for you. But I see it over and over and over again where people really think that they're gonna be in relationships with people or they're gonna be always they're gonna be up when they ain't never given nothing. I see them all the time, and they be having a whole lot of kids. Guess what? Because you get what you give, you get what you give. But listen, my black sheep, y'all. I want you to understand that you are carrying more than your own future, you're carrying possibility for that bloodline. So don't so stop waiting for massive results. People want overnight success, but you a legend out this bitch. This ain't legends and and kingdoms and empires, you don't build that overnight. When you want a solid foundation, something that's gonna last when you up out of here, you don't do that overnight. But see, people want overnight. But life is usually built through consistent, small actions. This is why I love when you really think about it like that. You don't become so much overwhelmed. You just say, you know what, let me master this day. When you get to work, let me master this hour. Let me just get through this hour. I started breaking mine down into two-hour increments, then I went to four hours. Before you know it, it's time to go home. And it really helps you realize that time is flying, and this is why you can't be letting people play with you with your time. Because number one, you are the one, and life is built through small, consistent actions, whether it be one workout, one chapter in that book that you want to write, one video that you want to go ahead and put out there, one discipline day, and you just repeating that consistently. That's how transformation happens, not through intensity, you know, it's through consistency. But the real danger is understanding or underestimating yourself because you started small. Don't ever despise your small beginnings, y'all, or when you start quitting because the results don't happen fast enough. I'm going through that right now. I'm going through a transformation right now, and I'm recording the results because I'm working on a project along with it. Because the things that I bring out to you guys is like I hey, I live mine, I live my principles. I'm testing things out and or researching them or talking to people that have done them, and I'm doing them right. And so it's frustrating when you don't see the results, right? But you got to keep going because nature teaches patience. A seed disappears underground before it becomes visible above ground. Growth happens in the dark first, and a lot of black sheep quit right before the breakthrough season. Now, here's three moves that you can make right now. Number one, make one powerful decision today, not 10, 1. One, specifically, one decision that moves you forward in life, whether it be writing starting to write the book, going back to school, getting your house in order, whatever. Number two, stop disrespecting small beginnings. Small does not mean weak, it means early. So, for an example, if you say you want to really start working out, hop on a treadmill or walk in place for 10 minutes and just do it every day, 10 minutes, at least five days a week, 10 minutes, at least three days a week, and then you can just increase it, right? Number three, plant one seed consistently, one habit, one goal, one system. And when you just do it repeatedly, that's when everything changes, y'all. Because I'm telling you, I'm on it. Listen, we are in the middle of the year, okay. And I told you guys to check out when we're talking about some things that's going on within the numerology world as far as this year.
