Who is Jesus? Peace in the Midst of Doubt, Part 2

Continuing with our study of the book of John, Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through John 20:24-31 and offers several observations from the text.

1) We need people in our lives who will tell us and keep on telling us the truth no matter what. (John 20:25)

2) We need people in our lives who will love us and keep on loving us no matter what. (John 20:25)

3) Jesus offers His presence and His peace to doubters. (John 20:26)

4) One of the best ways that Jesus relieves doubt in the minds and souls of people is revealing to them His restored (but still broken and scarred) body. (John 20:27)

Application

Worship (and not shame) is the right response for reconciled doubters. (John 20:28)

5) Doubt sometimes flows from a lack of perspective. (John 20:29)

6) Scripture is given for the sake of life through belief in Jesus. (John 20:30-31)
