EPISODE ONE- Early Falcon History- Deep Pockets, Old Granny, and a New Stadium
The roots of the Falcons reach back to the late 1950s when Atlanta mayor Ivan Allen, Jr. led a group of potential investors looking to lure a pro team to the Deep South. Chuck and Dan set out on their quest to “Reverse the Curse” by creating their own, fan-centric podcast while taking us through the bold and sometimes peculiar process of bringing pro football to Atlanta. This is their first-ever podcast episode and, much like the Falcons of the late 1960s, they had to start somewhere.
