BDB 2025 Season Review Series Episode #4 - The San Francisco Giants (w/ Dylan is a Dragon!)

It's time for our next instalment of the 2025 Season Review Series - this time we're looking at Cal's San Francisco Giants!

The Giants had a bang average, finishing the regular season with a record of 81-81, good for third place in the NL West! They couldn't have been more average if they'd tried! 

Led on the mound by ace, Logan Webb, the Giants were a very streaky team in 2025 and had a fantastic run in the second half of the season which could have led to them pipping the Mets to the final Wildcard spot! Unfortunately they had a poor ending which meant that the Reds snuck in instead.

They arguably made the biggest trade of the season with the acquisition of Rafael Devers - but this did not pan out as Giants fans would have hoped for!

Willy Adames provided the first 30 HR season by a Giants player in years and we saw the emergence of rookies such as Drew Gilbert make their MLB's bow in 2025!
