The All-Star game is almost upon us, a chance for baseball fans to take a step back from the grind of supporting their team and come together to celebrate the best players in MLB...or so we thought?
The past couple of years has seen a rise in undeserved players making it in with a chance of getting to the ASG through the dreaded Fan Vote! Last year Ronald Acuna Jr started the game despite having only played a month due to injury and I'm afraid it's only got worse this year!
Alejandro Kirk, Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Teoscar Hernandez are merely just some of the players that have reached Phase 2 of voting - despite all of these guys either having been injured or just plain bad this year!
The All-Star selection needs a rethink and who better than to help plan it that the BDB team!
