Whilst fans of the Dodgers, Brewers, Rays and other playoff hopefuls are loving the endless summer of the regular baseball season, the same can't be said for all 30 fanbases...
For a team like the San Francisco Giants or the New York Mets, the deadline is where the season officially ends as front offices trade away the players that had been shining for them.
Whilst this offers the chance of renewal and rebirth through the chance given to prospects, its also a sobering reminder of how the season has gone and the few shining lights that fans were enjoying, are shipped off to other teams.
