Joni Carswell joins the EcoMetrics Podcast as our first guest of 2026, and we couldn't think of a better kickoff to the year. Joni is the CEO and President of Texan by Nature, a nonprofit in Texas that has the big and very relevant vision of catalyzing collaborative conservation. Texan by Nature connects business and investment with nature based solutions, helping their partners make the business case for nature based solutions by showing the return on conservation. Using evidence based and data driven information, Texan by Nature aims to support different partners such as conservation organizations and corporations to fuel innovative and creative conservation solutions. Joni believes that the future of business and the health of our people are rooted and reliant on ecosystems and natural resources.
