In this episode of Mentorships in Education, we welcome Caroline Tyrwhitt, a NLP trainer, a resilience teacher, an #IamRemarkable facilitator for Google.  Mentorships in Education is brought to you by Just Education, LLC and is hosted by Judith Epstein. Judith has a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Language Acquisition. She is certified in special education with post-graduate coursework and professional development in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Social Thinking, and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT). Judith created Just Education, LLC to compile a free resource library for mentors of students who struggle on a wide variety of topics that are all related to education and student success.

About Caroline Tyrwhitt

Caroline has 20 years experience of teaching and leading in UK schools across primary and secondary, inner city and suburban areas, curriculum and pastoral. She studied for her BEd and her BA in Linguistics in Toronto, Canada.

Caroline is now an NLP trainer, a resilience teacher, an #IamRemarkable facilitator for Google.

She is an area lead for WomenEd, a global grass roots organisation that connects aspiring and existing women leaders in education and gives women leaders a voice in education. She has written a chapter on using NLP with young people to support wellbeing in The School Yellow Book published by #RethinkYourMind.

Caroline set up her company Model of Excellence Ltd to offer NLP training to schools as she believes it is the difference that makes the difference - that changing thinking and beliefs is the key to achievement and success in education for both staff and students.

She offers a blend of coaching, mentoring and training to women teachers to support them to break through their inner glass ceiling and build the confidence to lean in and lead.

Caroline describe Neurolinguistic Programming as giving you the remote control to your brain.
