Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of This Week in St. Louis. I'm Bryce here to guide you through all the coolest things happening around the town this weekend. Spring is officially in the air, days are getting longer, flowers are starting to bloom, and the city is coming alive with fresh energy. It's that perfect mix of outdoor fun, art, music, and family-friendly activities. Whether you're planning to get creative, enjoy live entertainment, or just soak up some sunshine, this weekend has a little something for everyone. Let's get into it. This week in St. Louis is presented by Hoffman Brothers, trusted by St. Louis families and businesses for over 40 years. Whether it's your AC, water heater, plumbing, or even EV charging, Hoffman Brothers has you covered. Local, licensed, family-owned, book your service at HoffmanBros.com. Big thanks to them for supporting local stories like this one. If you're looking for something outdoorsy or family friendly, there's a bunch of spring-themed fun this weekend. At Grants Farm, the brunch and egg hunt runs Friday through Sunday. Families can enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, meet some of the farm animals, and let kids hunt for eggs on the lush estate. It's a great way to get outside and enjoy a classic spring activity without leaving the city. For little ones who love breakfast and treats, flippity flop breakfast at Eckertz on Saturday is a must. Kids get fun sprinkle pancakes, bunny fruit kebabs, and a special Sherbert sunrise drink, while adults can order from the regular menu. Back at Vago Park, Saturday morning brings the youth egg hunt designed for kids 10 and under with staggered start times. Later in the evening, the adult egg hunt lets grown-ups channel their inner kid, flashlights in hand, hunting for eggs under the stars. If you're looking for something a bit more adventurous, Harland Farms is hosting a helicopter egg drop Saturday. Thousands of eggs are dropped from a real helicopter, followed by a massive egg hunt, plus mini houses, jumpers, zip lines, tractor rides, and even horse rides for the kids. And don't forget Bunny at the Barracks at Jefferson Barracks Park, where kids can hunt for hidden eggs, get their faces painted, and enjoy balloon creations, perfect for a full day of spring fun. If your weekend is leaning more towards arts and culture, there's plenty to keep you inspired. The Queenie Art Fair runs Friday through Sunday at the Greenfeld Rec Center. It's one of the region's most long-running art fairs featuring local artists and nonprofits like Artists First STL. It's a great way to experience creativity and action and support the arts community. Friday evening, adults can check out Slam Underground Summit at the St. Louis Art Museum. This after hours event invites guests to explore exhibits with live music, cocktails, and hands-on art making inspired by Amara weavings and sculptural forms. And for a serene, beautiful evening, Second Secur at Mobot Friday night combines blooming cherry blossoms with sake and whiskey tastings. It's the perfect mix of culture, flavor, and springtime vibes. Comedy fans are in for a treat. Godfrey is performing at Helium Comedy Club all weekend, bringing his high-energy style that's both sharp and hilarious. Friday night is packed with entertainment options. Sherry Shepard brings her Emmy winning humor to the pageant. New edition headlines, the Enterprise Center with Boys to Men, and Tony Braxton for an unforgettable concert experience. And Jaclyn Novak performs her Emmy nominated solo show at Delmer Hall. Saturday morning for something a little more refined, royalty at the St. Louis Women's Club offers tea, scones, finger sandwiches, dessert, and live serenades, a classy way to start your weekend. If you're feeling active, the Foxtrot 5K at Bellefontaine Cemetery on Saturday morning offers a scenic spring run through 314 acres of rolling hills and historical grounds. You can run in person or virtually your call. For evening adventures, Arch Light Mysteries at Schlafley Tap Room Saturday offers a team-based mystery experience at your table, escape room vibes with food, drinks, and friends. Later, dance off some spring energy at the Rewind 2000s Rave at the Hawthorne or the RB Rave After Dark at Java Bar. Both events offer high-energy music, immersive lighting, and a fun crowd ready to party. Sunday evening, sensory-friendly animals aglow at the St. Louis Zoo wraps up the weekend with glowing lantern displays, cultural performances, and interactive experiences. It's a visually stunning way to end a fun-filled spring weekend. Now, baseball fans, this weekend is a big one. Opening day at Bush Stadium is Thursday with the St. Louis Cardinals taking on the Tampa Bay Rays. Opening Day at Bush is such a classic St. Louis experience. The Cardinals always bring out the Clydesdales. The stadium is buzzing with excitement. And there's just something magical about that first pitch of the season. If you don't make it on Thursday, the Cardinals are still home Saturday and Sunday against the Rays. Whether you're cheering in the stands, enjoying the ballpark atmosphere, or just soaking up the opening weekend energy, it's a perfect way to celebrate spring and get into the baseball spirit. But now it's time for our flavors of the loo. And this weekend, we're celebrating one of my favorite springtime rituals, tea. If you're looking for a cozy spot to sip something warm or indulge in a little afternoon tea treat, here are a few must-visit places around St. Louis. First up, Tea Partea in Bavo Mill. This charming spot is perfect for a casual afternoon with a huge selection of teas and some seriously good pastries to pair with your cup. Next, the London Tea Room in the Central West End. If you're looking for a more traditional British tea experience, this is the place to be. Think finger sandwiches, scones, and all the proper tea service you'd expect from a classic tea room. And if you're willing to take a little drive, La Petisserie Paris in historic St. Charles is worth it. Beyond just tea, you'll find an incredible selection of pastries and desserts that transport you straight to a Parisian cafe. It's a sweet way to spend the afternoon, whether you're treating yourself or just catching up with friends. Be sure to head to our Instagram at SDL Bucketlist to check out the whole lineup. We also have a new spot for you to check out this week. This week's spot to check out is Seven in Clayton. It's the kind of place where you can start with a happy hour and end up staying for dinner. It pairs classic cocktails with rotating specials and familiar favorites that are easy to come back to. Located right in the heart of Clayton, it's a solid choice as we head into patio season. So whether you're looking for a midweek plans, a last-minute dinner spot, or just a night that flows from drinks to a full meal, seven has you covered. It's approachable, flavorful, and makes a really enjoyable evening out, no matter the occasion. Be sure to add it to your steel bucket list. That's your roundup for the weekend in St. Louis, from brunches and egg kinds to live comedy, music, art, and late night raves. There's something for everyone to enjoy this spring. Be sure to tag out a steal bucket list in your photos and stories. We love seeing how you're spending your weekends. New episodes drop weekly, keeping you in the loop on the best local events.
