Hey St. Louis. Welcome back to This Week in St. Louis, your weekend rundown for the best events and happenings around town. I'm Bryce, and this week we've got everything from major matchups and live music to family-friendly fun and outdoor eats. So let's jump in. We are officially in that sweet spot of spring in St. Louis. The weather's starting to cooperate, everything's in blooming, patios are filling up again, and the city just feels alive. This is one of those weekends where you can really do a little bit of everything, be outside, catch a game, hit a festival, and still sneak in some live music or comedy at night. It's not overwhelmingly packed, but there's a really good mix of events happening across the city, which honestly makes for a perfect weekend. So whether you're trying to stay low-key or fill your entire schedule, I've got you covered. Let's get into it. This week in St. Louis is presented by Hoffman Brothers, trusted by St. Louis families and businesses for over 40 years. Whether it's your AC, water heater, plumbing, or even EV charging, Hoffman Brothers has you covered. Local, licensed, family owned, book your service at HoffmanBros.com. Big thanks to them for supporting local stories like this one. All right, let's start with some of the best ways to actually enjoy the spring weather this weekend. You're trying to be outside, walk around, and just soak it all in. There are some really good options. One of the biggest highlights is CWE Back in Bloom, happening Saturday afternoon in the Central West End. This is one of those classic St. Louis spring events. You've got tulips everywhere, live music on different corners, street performers, and just really fun energy throughout the neighborhood. It's super walkable, so you can bounce between shops, grab a drink, and just hang out for a few hours. Also on Saturday, you've got Czech Fest 2026 over at the American Czech Educational Center. This one's a little more under the radar, but it's such a good cultural event. Expect authentic food, music, drinks, and just a really fun community vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you want something a little different. And then if you're looking for something that's a mix of fun and meaningful, Riverbend Earth Day is happening at the old bakery beer company. You've got live music, local vendors, plants for sale, and a big focus on sustainability and environmental education. It's a great excuse to get outside and maybe even bring a few plants home with you. Now, if your weekend vibe is a little more slow-paced, there are some really good daytime options to ease into things. The Tower Grove Farmers Market is back in full swing Saturday morning in Tower Grove Park. This is one of those staples, local produce, vendors, food, coffee, all of it. It happens every weekend. So it's not necessarily a drop everything and go event, but if you haven't been in a while, this is the perfect time to get back into that routine. And if you want something a little more unique, the spring Arbitorium Trolley Tour at Bellafontaine Cemetery and Arbitorium is such a cool experience. It's a guided tour through one of the most beautiful and historic spots in the city. And this time of the year, especially, everything is blooming. It's one of those things that feels very St. Louis, but also kind of hidden. Also happening all day Saturday, National Pet Day at Canine Garden. If you have a dog, this is kind of a no-brainer. They've got things like a pup cup bar, a photo booth, and just a bunch of fun stuff set up for pets. It's very casual. You can come and go whenever, and it's just a fun way to include your dog in your weekend plans. All right, switching gears a little bit, if you're trying to bring the energy this weekend, there's a lot going on in the sports world. The St. Louis Cardinals versus Boston Red Sox series is happening all weekend at Bush Stadium. And honestly, this is a really fun matchup. You've got different promotions each day, plus that classic weekend baseball atmosphere. Friday night, especially is always a good time with live music and everything happening around Ballpark Village. And then on Sunday, the St. Louis Battlehawks are taking on the Birmingham Stallions at the Dome at America Center. If you haven't been to a Battlehawks game yet, the energy is unreal. This one also has a community focus around cancer awareness. So it's not just a game, it's a really meaningful event too. If you're more into cars and racing, worldwide technology raceway is packed all weekend. You've got SCCA racing, test and tune sessions, and then the big one, import face off on Sunday, which includes drag racing, car shows, drifting, and basically everything you could want into that scene. And more one more to throw in there's a BMW championship watch party at Ballpark Village on Saturday. It's a fun mix of watching golf, interactive games, and hanging out before heading into the Cardinals game. Now, as the sun goes down, that's when things really start to pick up across the city. If you're into live music, you've got a ton of options this weekend. At Enterprise Center on Sunday, Brandon Lake is performing, big production, high-energy show, and definitely one of the bigger concerts happening this weekend. Over at Shea Fitz Arena, Third Day is doing their 30th anniversary tour Saturday night, which is a pretty big deal if you grew up listening to them. If you want something a little more intimate, Miles Electric Band is playing at Jazz St. Louis all week into the weekend. It's a really cool blend of classic jazz influence with modern energy. Definitely more of a sit back and listen kind of night. And then on the classical side, the St. Louis Symphony is performing Mailer's Fifth at PAL Symphony Hall. If you've never experienced something like that, it's honestly pretty incredible. For comedy, you've got two big names in town Friday night: Seth Myers at the Factory and Chris D'Eliott at the Hawthorne. So if you're looking for a night out that's more less than music, you've got options there too. And then to wrap up the weekend, Soul Sundays with Laca at Broadway Oyster Bar is always a vibe. Great music, great atmosphere, and a perfect way to close out Sunday night. And before we wrap up the event, there's one more that's definitely worth mentioning. On Sunday, Narwhals Crafted in Chesterfield is hosting their ninth annual Al Rubin Memorial Crawfish Boil. This is one of those events that's been around for a while and has a really strong community feel. You've got a full crawfish boil, drinks, and all benefits the Prostate Cancer Foundation. So it's fun, but also for a really good cause. All right, let's get into the flavors of the Lou. And this week we're keeping it on theme with the weather. We're talking margaritas. If you're looking to sip something on a patio this weekend, there are three spots you definitely need to have on your list. First up, La Crazy Margarita down in Tower Grove South. This place is just fun. The margaritas are exactly what you want: strong, flavorful, and they do not hold back. It's got that colorful, lively vibe inside. And it's one of those spots that feels like a good time no matter when you go. Next, over in U City, you've got Mi Rinchito. This one's a little more low-key, but in the best way. It's super consistent, really solid food, and their margaritas just hit every time. If you're looking for something easy and reliable, this is a great go-to. And then finally, Mestiza in Linden Wood Park. This one's a little more elevated, great patio, really good atmosphere. And the margaritas feel a little more crafted. It's a perfect spot if you're trying to sit, relax, and make a whole evening out of it. So if the weather's nice, which it should be, grab a margarita, find a patio, and enjoy it. Be sure to head to our Instagram at Stiel Bucketless to check out the whole lineup. And we have a new spot for you to check out this week, the iconic St. Louis Staple Fitzes. While this isn't a new spot, our team at Stiel Bucketless teamed up with Fitzes to create something that feels like St. Louis on a plate, introducing the bucket list menu here for April only. The menu includes red hot riplets, cheesy fries, toasted ravioli burger, bucketless brat, gooey butter, dirty soda, and the So St. Louis float. It's fun, it's over the top, and it's so St. Louis. The best part, we partnered with Petal for the Cause to donate 10% of all proceeds to cancer research right in our city. Be sure to check out the menu before the end of April and be sure to tag us if you go. All right, that's everything I've got for you this weekend. Like I said, this is one of those really well-balanced weekends in St. Louis. You've got outdoor events, sports, live music, food, and just tons of ways to get out and enjoy the city. If you end up checking out any of these, make sure to tag us at STL Bucket list. We love seeing where you guys are going and what you're getting into. And as always, we drop new episodes every single week so you can stay in the loop with what's happening around St. Louis. All right, we'll see you out there.
