Another huge summer weekend has arrived in St. Louis, bringing legendary live music, CITY SC soccer, neighborhood festivals, a Halloween party in the middle of July, and one of the city's newest neighborhood markets.

Whether you're looking for a concert, sporting event, food festival, family-friendly fun, or a relaxing night out, there's no shortage of things to do across the region.

In this episode of This Week in St. Louis, Brice breaks down the biggest events happening around town so you can make the most of your weekend.

This week's highlights include:

• Saint Louis CITY SC takes on Real Salt Lake Saturday night at Energizer Park, with the Lucien Street Party at Schlafly Taproom kicking things off beforehand.

• Carnival of Ink Tattoo Convention debuts at Ameristar Casino in Saint Charles — Missouri's longest-running tattoo convention, featuring artists, vendors, competitions, and live entertainment all weekend.

• Serb Fest celebrates its 39th year at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church with authentic Serbian food, traditional beer, and a genuinely festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

• The Trading Card Convention takes over the Marriott St. Louis Grand for a weekend of buying, selling, and trading.

• Found and Formed brings a pop-up art studio to La Vie in Frenchtown for a relaxed, no-experience-needed creative night.

• PBR St. Louis throws Summer Ween Friday night — Halloween in July complete with a costume contest, drink specials, and DJ entertainment (21+).

Before the match, head to the Lugan Street Party at Schlafley Tap Room, just north of the stadium. It's the unofficial home base for City SC supporters with food, drinks, and music getting the crowd fired up before everyone marches over to Energizer Park together.

That march leads right into Saturday night when St. Louis City SC takes on Real Salt Lake at Energizer Park. If you've never experienced the atmosphere at a City SC home game, this is a great first one to check out. Now, if festivals are more your speed, you're in luck because there are a few good ones running all weekend long. Over in St. Charles, the Carnival of Inc. is setting up shop at a Maristar Casino. This is Missouri's longest-running tattoo convention, and it's making its debut at this new location with tattoo artists, vendors, competitions, and live entertainment all weekend. If you're craving something with a little more heritage behind it, Serb Fest is celebrating its 39th year at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church. Expect authentic Serbian food, traditional beer, and a genuinely festive, family-friendly atmosphere all weekend. And if you're a collector at heart, the trading card convention takes over the Marriott St. Louis Grand this weekend, bringing together enthusiasts from all over buying, selling, and trading. All worth a mention, the Super Fair is kicking off at Worldwide Technology Raceway, turning the raceway into a full-blown midway with rides, games, and a free daily circus. It runs well past this weekend, so no rush if you can't make it there right away. Speaking of things that'll keep you out late, this might be one of the biggest live music weekends we've had

in a while. Friday night, Avenge Sevenfold, and Good Charlotte co-headline at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. And if you grew up on either of those bands, this is a nostalgia, heavy night you won't want to miss. Sunday, Noah Khan brings the Great Divide tour to Bush Stadium. Heads up though, this one's already sold out. So if you don't have tickets yet, keep an eye out for resale. If theater is more your thing, ain't too proud, the life and times of the temptations is running all week at the Munion Forest Park. It's the story of one of Motown's biggest groups told through their biggest hits. And it's a great pick for a summer night under the stars. And for something a little different after dark, Missouri Botanical Garden is hosting Patterns in Nature Lightform this weekend. Massive illuminated geometric sculptures transform the garden after sunset. Paired with live music, it's a beautiful, low-key date-night option. If you're looking to slow things down a bit, there are some great food and drink options this weekend too. City Winery

is hosting their Chef and Winemaker dinner series on Friday this month, themed around midsummer flavors. So think garden fresh dishes paired with their in-house wines across a few different seating times. Over in Frenchtown, St. Charles, Found Informed, is bringing their pop-up art studio to La Belle V. It's a relaxed, no experience needed setup where you can pick a creative project, grab a drink, and just create at your own pace. And if you want something with a little more chaos, PBR St. Louis is throwing Summer Ween on Friday night.

Rounding things out, if you need a good laugh this weekend, Funny Bone Westport has you covered with Dog Days of Summer on Sunday night. It's a showcase of rising comedians and the venue's promising ice cold AC. Never a bad selling point in the middle of summer. We have a new spot for you to check out this week.
