Looks like mortgage applications have risen almost 5% in Colorado this year, which may seem hard to believe considering the recent swell in inventory levels not being matched by a concurrent rise in buyers. From April 2023-April 2024 prices statewide have risen 5.7%, mainly due to the low inventory we saw until May. Our guess is prices will not rise as quickly the rest of the year as the increase in inventory levels will likely reduce price increases, which the recent rise in Days on Market seems to back up.
