February 2025 | Front Range Facts | Colorado Market Update

Anthony Meisner & Jim Merrion Season 4 Episode 5

In Colorado, showing activity is beginning to look up after a very slow initial start. Inventory levels have risen to levels last seen around 2013 so more choice may be resulting in more buyer showings.

The real crazy detail that stands out, however, is sales volume, which has seen closed transaction volume drop to a level last seen in 2011, which was a terrible year for home sales. Considering Colorado's population has added over 600,000 people in that time, I take this as a sign of some serious pent up demand among buyers, which will result in a market rebounding quite suddenly in the future. We are already seeing this in home prices, with the average single family home gaining 5.5% appreciation year-over-year!

Check out even more important details by joining Anthony Meisner and I as we review Colorado's Real Estate market in this month's episode of "Front Range Facts"!
