A Woman's Power "Unfiltered" With Victoria E Strange
Authenticity: The Real Currency in a World of Look-alikes
Your unfiltered power doesn't live in blending in with social media carbon copies; it thrives in the courage to stand out as your authentic self. By breaking free from the trap of sameness, you become memorable, build genuine trust, and harness the magnetic quality of bravery that draws others to your unique voice.
• The "carbon copy trap" comes from fear of not fitting in and believing expert formulas guarantee success
• Standing out costs include becoming forgettable, diluting your unique story, and exhausting yourself maintaining an inauthentic version
• People who cut through are often raw, quirky, and unexpected rather than perfectly polished
• Difference creates memorability, authenticity builds trust, and bravery is magnetic
• Standing out isn't about being louder—it's about being truer to yourself
• Share something unpolished instead of perfect and use your real voice instead of copied tones
• Carbon copies get lost while originals get remembered
Show up in any way that feels unfiltered and unmistakably yours this week, even if it scares you, because that's where the power lives.
Hello everyone. It's Victoria here, and welcome back to another episode of A Woman's Power Unfiltered. So I do know that it's been a couple of weeks, hasn't it? You know, since I last released an ep and I apologise about that I have had a few messages saying where's the ep? I'm looking out for it and it's not here. And you know what? You know that I'm very honest, I'm very raw on this podcast, and I was just struggling a little bit, being really, really honest with you all.
Speaker 1:As a lot of you know, I lost my dad not long ago, and it was very sudden. He was only 66 years old and he you know he was here one minute, gone the next, and it's just been really, really difficult. And, as a lot of you know, I have my own business. My dad has a company, and he was an amazing entrepreneur and we were really close and, yeah, it's just been very difficult. So there definitely is a learning there, though, because I think, as women, we all try. We try to do it all, don't we? Oh, yes, I can do this, I can do that, but actually, sometimes we can't. Sometimes we just have to take that step back and say no, and there's absolute power in that there really really is. It doesn't make you powerful for saying yes all the time, it just doesn't. And so, you know, I really wanted to put those steps out, but sometimes you just got to say I can't do it, I just can't do it, say I can't do it, I just can't do it.
Speaker 1:So I am back and I am going to be talking to you today about something that I've been thinking about for a little while actually, and that is this how many of you go on social media and you're scrolling through? You know like you do, and I don't know about you, but it feels like deja vu because everyone's a carbon copy. Well, not everyone, but so many people are. It's like the same poses, same filters, same quotes, recycled a million times. Everyone's saying the same thing thing. That person looks like that one, and I think what a lot of people don't realize is that unfiltered power. It doesn't actually live in blending in. It lives in the courage to actually stand out, and this is what I'm going to be talking about today, and about why being the same, it actually just kills your voice, and being different, that actually fuels your power. It really does, and a lot of people they fall into the carbon copy trap. It's a little bit of a mouthful actually, isn't it? The carbon copy trap?
Speaker 1:And this is like fear of not fitting in thinking the formula will guarantee success. Pressure, you know from experts saying do it this way, guarantee success. Pressure, you know from experts saying do it this way. But actually what it costs is you become forgettable because you're like everyone else. You dilute your own story because you know you're trying to be like the other person and the thing is that's their story or maybe someone else's, 10 times down the line and you also exhaust yourself trying to keep up with a version that just isn't yours. So who actually cuts through? I mean, who actually cuts through? Who do we notice?
Speaker 1:People who stand out aren't always polished and they're not creators who are raw, quirky or a little bit. You know unexpected people in the public eye or public figures who refused to follow the script and they're really, really remembered for it. And and why do they stand out? Because difference creates memorability. Authenticity, oh, honestly, I say this word so much. Authenticity builds trust. Because you're being authentic, you're being real and people can see that. And bravery, bravery is magnetic. And if you're a magnetic person, as much as you might not realize, but being magnetic. People really, really, really do feel it. People really, really really do feel it.
Speaker 1:So unfiltered power in action, the mindset shift. Standing out isn't about being louder, it's about being truer. What are you watering yourself down to fit in for? Share something unpolished instead of perfect. Use your real voice, not the, the copy and pasted tone. Let people see your perspective, even if it's not popular, because it won't always be. The truth is carbon copies get lost. Originals get remembered. This week, show up in any way that feels unfiltered and unmistakably yours, even if it scares you, because that's where the power lives. Have a great week and I'll see you all next week.
