Hey guys, welcome back to episode 20 of the podcast. So normally I like to bring somebody on to be able to share their testimony of faith today. I did have somebody who was going to share their testimony, but if they fell through and they weren't able to be here today. But before I do, I would just love to pray over everybody and to pray before we get started. Dear Heavenly Father, I just lift every single listener up to you. I ask that you open our hearts, you open our minds to fill us up with your Holy Spirit today, Father. I just pray over every single one of them that they will be on fire for you, that their fire for you will never go out, that they will have childlike faith. I pray for their salvation. Um, for their family, for their friends who were not in faith. I pray for a revival in their lives. Father, I pray that they will go, that they will make disciples, that they will have be bold in their faith to plant the seeds, Father, that they will we will have trust and hope in you to know that you will bring them to salvation in your timing, Father. And I pray that over their lives, Father. Um, we're just so thankful for you. We're so I'm so thankful for this day that you have given me. I'm so thankful for the blessings that you have given me and that I have received. And I just pray for the future blessings that are to come that I have no idea what they are, but I know that you have plans to prosper and to bless. And so I just pray over and and thank you for those plans and those blessings now. Amen. Okay, so I have um a couple of stories I want to share, but the first one is um about this girl who was pregnant. My sister-in-law had come to me with her friend, and she's like, Hey, my friend's pregnant, um, she's got some health issues. Don't quote me on the words, but it's like a thyroid, maybe? I forget honestly the terminology. I I'm a teacher, okay? Medical terminology is not my thing. Anyway, she had something in her uterus um that was um very invasive, very aggressive, that was growing um in her in her uterus as well as the baby. She was also pregnant and she was having miscarriage symptoms. Um, you know, I know she was cramping and bleeding and spotting, and really it was really scary because, you know, she's constantly in this fear, obviously, like she's pregnant, but she's also going through like these miscarriage symptoms, but it doesn't necessarily mean it was her miscarriage because she was having these these health issues. Um it was um, you know, there was a sting in her in her uterus, and so um, you know, my sister-in-law was like, please pray for her. And so I was like, absolutely. And so, you know, we were there were so many people praying for them. And then sh pretty shortly after she had come to me and uh she's like, I have, you know, I have such good news. And um, I was like, Yeah, you know, like let's hear it. And so she's talking about her friend who was pregnant, um, and she had said that this this thyroid cyst, this thing that was in her uterus, was just completely gone, it completely shriveled up and just was no longer. And um the doctors were amazed, they were like, We have never, you know, they they couldn't believe that this thing had just gone away on its own, no treatment, no medicine, no nothing. It was just completely gone and out of her body, and the baby was healthy and alive and well, and um, so you know, we were like, you know, praise Jesus, he's so good. You know, the prayers have been answered, and she was like, that doesn't end there. The story goes on, and um, so come to find out, we had continued talking, and um her friend and her husband decided that they were also going to pray. Um, they had known who God was, but they weren't necessarily in faith. And so they were going to pray and they were gonna ask God, um, you know, they were praying over the baby, praying over the health, and they had said that if he would heal them and if he would um, you know, fix this for them, that they would that they would give their lives to the Lord. And um so obviously he he healed her. Um, and so not only was the baby okay, but you know, this was a testimony, this was a real life situation where these people who were not in faith, um prayed to Jesus. They had come to him, they had said, Look, we're scared, we're worried, we're full of fear, but hey, uh we're praying and we're trying to put this this blind trust in you, and we're saying, Hey, if you, you know, they made that um like uh they they were like, hey, if you heal her, we will devote our lives to you. And so that happened, and that was a beautiful testimony of their lives and of their salvation, and so they did. They prayed salvation and they were able to be saved. They started going to church right away. They were like, Oh my gosh, God is real, God is so good. Um, and it was just such a beautiful testimony and such a supernatural testimony. Um, and it was just such a beautiful thing to to hear and to just you know be a part of of being able to, you know, hear the updates and to be able to be a part of the you know the team and the army of praying. It was just so beautiful to see the goodness of God and to see what God can do in their lives. Um and I was just absolutely in love with that. And so she's still pregnant, she is still healthy, um, and um, yeah, they are growing in their faith, and I just thought that was such a beautiful testimony to share. Um, my other story um is so long story short, my church does a marriage conference. Um, and it's basically this weekend long event where you and your spouse can sign up and go to, you know, like a uh this big marriage event. So you can get a hotel if you want to, you don't have to, and like Friday night and all day Saturday, they do you know, this whole event, they give sermons, they have activities, um, a whole weekend long thing to just really devote your you know marriage every year to God and and to get back on, you know, putting God as the center of your marriage and you know, just having a really nice kind of like retreat kind of thing for it. Um, anyway, so me and my husband had gone. Um, it's pretty expensive, so we only went for Saturday. Um, we were recovering from the stomach bug. Um, I I was recovering from the stomach bug, but then my husband had also gotten the stomach bug, so we were like both battling the stomach bug. Um, it's like been this bug that's been going around. This is GI bug where like it's not a normal 24-hour bug, it's like this three, four, five day long stomach bug where you're just having diarrhea. And I'm so sorry for saying that, but it's true. I'm not sorry. Um, I'm honest. Um, yeah, and it was terrible, and I was like literally in the bathroom five, six times, maybe even more. I think I had gone to the bathroom that day like five times just during the sessions. Like we had like an hour-long lunch, and I'm pretty sure I went to the bathroom like twice during lunch. It was crazy. Anyway, I'm totally getting off topic and telling the entire world about my adventures of having pooping issues during my marriage conference. Anyway, um getting real with you guys. Real real. Um, yeah, so we were there, and this couple had come up on stage, um, and they were playing like these games, they were playing these games, and so they were playing these games and stuff, and it was just so awesome. Um, and they were really like this this one particular couple. They were really, you could just tell that they were taking this experience, like everybody was taking the experience seriously, right? But this couple, you could just really see like the light radi radiating off of them that this was this was really like a life-changing experience for them, and we didn't really know why, right? Like we were just bystanders in in this situation. Well, so the next day we had gone to church on Sunday, and these people, this couple had gotten up on stage and shared um and decided to tell everybody their story and their testimony, and such a huge testimony had happened to them over the weekend. Um, so he uh uh the couple was actually not together, they were separated and not living together, um, and and talking about, you know, not being together and stuff, and um because of somebody who planted the seed and because of somebody who reached out to them and said, Hey, you guys should go to this marriage convent, they convinced them to go. Um, and so they both went, and because of the goodness of God, because of just who cod is, um, that day was life-changing for them, and they are now back together. They now have been brought to salvation. Not only, let me just say this: not only did this happen, I'm literally gonna say, over the span of the weekend, this couple was not talking to each other, they were not living with each other, they were like bitter with each other, they were convinced and and you know, to go to this marriage and encounter, and you can think of you know, putting your feet in their shoes, and it's kind of like a oh, I don't know how this is gonna go, this feels super weird, you know. I'm just kinda shooting my shot here. But they did, and they went and it was amazing and it was life-changing, and they were brought to salvation. Um, and the guy was he was brought over salvation, and there was over a hundred people praying for him um in that room that day. And so then the next day at church, he was so excited. His salvation, his faith was radiating through him, lighting up the entire church. He was on stage talking about it, um, and he wasn't shy, he wasn't scared, and he was brand new in his faith, and he was so excited, so on fire for the Lord, standing up on you know on the stage telling the entire church his testimony and literally how his life quite changed over the weekend. Um, and it was just so beautiful to see God's goodness. Um, and then I had found out, I had kind of asked for updates, and then I found out that he got enrolled in life class, um, um, which is a class that my church offers um to just continue to like get know get to know more about Jesus and how to study the Bible and all that stuff. Um, and so he got enrolled in that, you know, in this church class. Um, and even a f step further from that, he was signed up to be a part of um one of the Bible studies, um, one of the men's Bible study groups, um, and be a part of that once a week. And so it was just crazy, and it was just so, so beautiful to see God's work and God's hand literally move himself and literally watch him change uh their lives overnight, night and day. Again, such a supernatural experience, and it was just such a beautiful experience just to watch, um, even as an outsider, just to see and to be able to experience that was just so amazing and so beautiful um to see. And so I really just um want to be able to share these experiences because even though they're not mine, this is just these are experiences that I have um been around and and have been able to witness lately, I just would love to share. Like I just love sharing God's goodness and saying how good He really is, and you know, just the things that He can do in people's lives, He can do for you. He can do so much if you just have faith, you know, that um saying what you can do with a mustard seed. Um, and it's so true you can move mountains with a mustard seed of faith. Um, people who have no faith, you know, these their lives change overnight, so you can imagine what your faith can do if you just put your faith in God and where he can take you. And so I just thought that was so encouraging um and so amazing. Um, but yeah, so I could fangirl over Jesus quite literally all day long. Um but yeah, so I just wanted to share beautiful testimonies today. Um if you guys ever want to be a part of the testimony episodes, it's every 10th episode.
