#DeadlySilence explores the delicate balance between knowing when to hold your peace and knowing when your voice has become your responsibility. Through Scripture, personal reflection and real-life experiences, this episode examines the importance of spiritual discernment, moral courage and the weight our words—or lack thereof—can carry. From Christ's silence before the cross to moments throughout biblical history where silence allowed destruction to flourish, we're challenged to ask ourselves whether our silence is producing peace... or simply protecting our comfort.

This isn't about speaking louder. It isn't about arguing more. It's about recognizing that God has entrusted each of us with a voice for a reason. Sometimes wisdom calls us to remain still. Other times, love demands that we speak. The challenge is learning to discern the difference before silence becomes something far more dangerous.

What is going on, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Heck versus Hell, where the truth we tell. You know what it is, and you know what time it is. Let's get into another episode. I hope you are all each having a wonderful, beautiful, glorious day. Always walking in the beautiful steps and keeping the fruits of the spirit always being shown in every aspect of your life, and one of the most important ones, and your own reflection of you seeing and feeling it within yourself. Peace, love, joy, gentleness, compassion, all of these being able to be given unto you as well from you, from God, of course, first and foremost, but you have to also be willing to take it, accept it, and give it to yourself. Alright, so this is gonna be a little bit of a shorter one, but I want to speak about deadly silence. See, one of the things that I loved, and and this might be something that you can relate to too. You know, I feel like one of the things that I do or did was justify certain ways that I was by reading characters or aspects of people that were in the Bible, our ancestors, right? It was a certain kind of justification, and this is comes from also one of the first couple episodes. The first episodes that I came out with, which was a lot about people pleasing and stuff, and one of the most gangster things that Christ did was staying silent, pleading the fifth, right? Pleading the fifth on death row on something he was innocent on. Alright, just to put it, just to put it like in that terminology, okay? But staying silent in his persecution, being led to the cross, silent the whole way, and still being on the cross in silence and only saying what was meant to be said to fulfill the property prophet prophecies of what were established before he came into the flesh, which I think is just phenomenal. We all feel pain, like I stub my toe, and I you know, but being whipped over and over, being mutilated, humiliated, carrying across to where most likely he had his some kind of broken bones. I believe they said he had broken ribs and his shoulder was dislocated, and you know, just walking with that much weight for that long, then to be crucified and still staying silent, completing the mission in the wheel that was predestined, it's gangster. Like, there's no other way, like there is no other strength that comes close to the comparison of what Christ did and endured, and I use that to justify my toleration to justify staying silent and not causing conflict. I'm like, yeah, yeah, you know, I'm a I'm a gangster too, you know. And and it was like I used it as a sense of defense of trying to keep the peace, quote unquote, in certain aspects, and in other times of just turning my face away from something that was wicked that I should have been correcting. Which you know, which was also to keep the peace, quote unquote, and some of it was because of a people-pleasing aspect, and other part of it was just to keep my own peace, so I won't get hype, so I won't get hot. So it was still a cowardice because it was avoiding conflicts, although I saw it as being peaceful, as keeping the peace, as being a peacemaker, because that was another part of the scripture that I used as a defense mechanism to try to justify how I was, and I had to really look at it and realize it because I mean, even going back to whenever it came to David, King David, whenever he went and handled his business and got with Bathsheba, Joab knew about it. Joab being the chief of commander in his army, he knew what David was going to do before it was done. He knew that David was going to put Uriah on the front lines and pull back the army in order to get him killed, in order to have his wife. And Joab knew this, but he stayed silent. I wonder I wonder if that will be counted towards him in the day of judgment. I wonder what the consequence for that was or is going to be. As we know, David repented, but we don't really know much about Joab's silence. And if I'm not mistaken, I think he he like broke away from that command. He's like, you know, I can't I can't do this uh after seeing that. But there's those times where we have to stand up for what's right because it can cause somebody's death or somebody's downfall. Even with me, I actually not too long ago, a few weeks ago, there was a little girl that was riding a bike. I was cruising down, and it was this fast road, and there was a little girl, and I saw her like half a block up the street coming down the block, coming basically the at the crossroad of it. And this this is a street that there is no stop signs, it's one of the more main streets kind of thing, but it's on the back in not being a main street, but there's no stop signs, there's stop signs on the intersecting streets, and this girl was on one of those intersecting streets, and I was coming down and I saw her like a half block up, and she just kept going on her bike. I slowed down because I kind of expected and anticipated her not to slow down or stop, and she didn't even look either way. This girl was young, she was like six, seven, eight years old, and she just kept going straight like it was nobody's business, and it kind of shook me. I'll be honest, it kind of shook me and caught me off guard, and I was like, oh man, like and and and I didn't honk, I didn't yell anything out the window, I didn't say anything, and I felt the kind of like what she was supposed to feel, but I didn't say anything, and in doing so, what if something detrimental happened to that girl because I did not warn her or see where it was that she was going, potentially see where her parents were at, and tell them what she did, and I stayed silent about it. What if she ends up on the news because I didn't say anything? Because I didn't do anything about it. This is what this whole episode is about, in terms of how deadly it can truly be to be silent. Not just in that, not just in a real physical sense, but also in the vision and will that God has for our life. Like when is it that enough is gonna be enough and you're finally gonna to roar like the lion that we were destined to be so that you can stand up for the sheep? So that you can do the aspect that you were meant to do to complete your part in the will of God. How much will you tolerate until that toleration consumes your purpose? There's certain times when silence is definitely a good option, but having the discernment to know when to stay silent and when not to is the capacity that we must all learn and practice on. And this revelation that I'm giving to you is one of the best foundations of belief that I now have knowledge, piece of knowledge, whatever you want to call it, wisdom, that I now have in order to not keep my mouth shut 85% of the time. Now I'm like 50-50. Alright, now I kind of know, but it's it's crucial, it's very, very crucial that we speak. That's what this episode is about. Short, sweet, simple, but very powerful.
