Through Isaiah 14 and the contrast between Lucifer's desire to rise above and Christ's willingness to humble Himself and come down to humanity, this episode explores identity, spiritual authority, purpose and the importance of understanding who we were actually created to be.

We were made in the image and likeness of God, but that doesn't mean we were created to replace Him. It means we were created to walk with Him, operate through Him and discover the authority and purpose He has entrusted to us. The battle isn't ours to fear when Christ has already overcome it. The question is whether we'll continue fighting for an identity we were never meant to have... or finally walk confidently in the identity God already gave us.

Sometimes the greatest deception isn't believing you're nothing...

It's believing you have to become God to become who you were created to be.

What is going on, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Heck versus Hell, where the truth we tell. That's right, that is correct. Hello, welcome. To everybody listening to this, wherever it is that you are, I hope you're all having a blessed one. Hope you're all keeping and walking in the peace of God, walking in the joy that has been ordained from us and living by the fruits of the Spirit, letting the Spirit produce those fruits in your lives, not only for yourself, but for others as well. Uh any announcements that we're making, uh whatever it may be in between. At the time of you listening to this, right? You could be listening to this way longer than you are right now in terms of past today, today being when you're listening to this. Okay, I confused myself. Anyways, uh, I want to make this one short and simple, sweet, like manna. You know what we do. Uh uh and and just a reminder, a reminder of Lucifer's sin, a reminder of Satan and where he is in retrospect and I can't remember what the word is. I'm looking for a word in relativeness, relativity to where we are. Okay. So in the book of Isaiah, I have it pulled up right here. This is the fall of Lucifer. The fall of Lucifer, this is verse twelve through thirteen. How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning, how you are cut down to the ground, you who weaken the nations, for you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most high, yet you shall be brought down to Sheol to the lowest depths of the pit. Now, this is prophecy, right? This is what Lucifer said. This is what was given to Isaiah to write down from what he saw in his visions, and seeing what was said from Lucifer directly. I will ascend into heaven. Meaning angels had a place that wasn't in heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will be like the most high. Who are the stars of God? The stars of God are the angels, so he desired to be above the angels. His desire was, I will be like the most high. A lot of people don't get that. A lot of people don't understand that. That he never wanted to take God's place, he wanted to be the same as God. Okay, well, in a way, taking God's place. I meant he didn't want to be above God, because you can't be above God. He understands that, he knows that very well. He wanted to be like God. And if we go back to Genesis, we as mankind are created in the image of God. We are in his likeness. We are like God. We sit in the chair in the throne that will also judge the angels. Therefore, we're placed in that throne that he says he will exalt himself above the stars of God. That's where we sit. There's a hierarchy to this. There's God, there's us, there's the angels, then it's the fallen angels, then it's the people of the world, the children of the world, then it's demons. And demons and the children of the world are actually kind of hand in hand a little bit there, uh, so long as the power is given to them. A little bit with the same thing with the fallen angels, too. But they are one of the ones that are like near the bottom, children of the world. The angels have more power than the fallen angels, of course. They were stripped from it, they were stripped from their honor, they were stripped from their power and authority to an extent so that they could still complete their portion of what they are meant to do in this world. And the angels have their rules, they have their command posts, they have their purposes, and we are above that. We have Christ that came down saying, My father is your father, putting himself in the likeness of us, literally, God in the flesh, coming down in such humility, not only to experience and live what we experience, what we live, bleed how we bleed, fight the challenges, temptations, and tests that we fight, but also to position us in that same understanding. For even Christ Himself said that we will do miracles and signs greater than He. That to me is mind-blowing. It's like, how can we be better than God? You know, but it's the likeness of it. For God Himself to come down and put himself at our level. Now he didn't do it at the level of angels. Yes, you can read in different contexts how it says the angel of God, and most of the time that's referring to Christ, but angel in the Hebrew word means spirit. So there's a distinction between the spirits. The spirit of God does not necessarily mean the angel of God, so even in that translation, they kind of desensitized it a little bit, they put it down a little bit. But there is never a point in time where Christ put himself, God put himself on the level of angels, yet he did it to us and for us because we were created in his image. That is what Lucifer wanted to take. Lucifer's sin is wanting to be like us. Oof. If that doesn't empower you, I don't know what will. You are in control of that. So let it be so. There's a partnership with God that you have been blessed with. So use it. We are sons and daughters of God, therefore we are gods. We are not the most high God, we do not have limitless and unlimited capabilities like God, yet we have such a great and vast amount that we don't even comprehend. Yet, and I understand, you know, it's not to be prideful and it's dangerous, quote unquote, to walk in certain knowledges without fully understanding the context. And this is why we break it down so many times in so many different ways, because seeing ourselves as the I am, seeing ourselves as a reflection of God, is how we can live to our highest form of self in what we were ordained to do.
