What's going on, guys? I am the Black Sheep Anthony C. And I am the big John V from South Carolina all the way to Cali. This is another edition of One Take, Real Talk on movies, games, and convention.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, we supposed Ben started recording, and me and John got into like this big ass debate about everything, the what damn pop culture. Generally, how our conversations start. But yeah, man, today. Sometimes we should record our non-movie conversations, but then we realize you guys wouldn't probably like those. Nah, we'll probably be canceled before you know we even start. I mean, oh however many fucking listeners we have.
SPEAKER_00Let it be known we're not saying anything bad, guys. We're just really fucking mean to each other.
SPEAKER_01We are. Yeah, we really are. Yeah, I would think with me and John would really fucking hate each other. I swear to God, you would.
SPEAKER_00But it's all problems we don't. We actually like unlike normal people, appreciate differing opinions. That's right. But anyway, so Anthony's a fucking idiot and all his opinions are wrong.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, John, you shouldn't talk about yourself like that.
SPEAKER_00But stupid fuck. All right, I'm back back to work.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, man, so a lot of things went down this past weekend. It really did. So I mean, we got a lot of news here. I mean, I was sending John text after text. What do you want to start with, John?
SPEAKER_00Well, let's start at the not important one.
SPEAKER_01Oh, how about this one? How about them the sleeper agent not showing up for DC?
SPEAKER_00I mean, that's just normal.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00He did that with Supergirl, don't you remember?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like fucking so James Gunn decided not to show up for fucking DC again this year. I mean, it ain't like you're the fucking president or fucking DC studios or nothing. You know what I mean? So, yeah, I mean, that was um that was a little interesting, you know. So, I got one for you. What'd you think about the Ryan Reynolds thing? Did you see it?
SPEAKER_00Oh, I thought that shit was funny as hell.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, him showing up at Deadpool. Yeah, there was. I mean, I like his costume, though. I like the Deadpool costume, though. It was pretty sick.
SPEAKER_00I wasn't I was surprised to see them go with like the X-Force colors.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was pretty dope. I really do. I like that. I'm excited to see where this movie goes. Everybody got a lot of theories about here. If you don't know, we're talking about Avengers Doom today. I already got my tickets for it. I yeah. Yeah, I already got my tickets for it. John tell you, I got mine. Hey, I got two showings for Spider-Man this week, so I got I got I got I got one in Screen X and I got a regular laser. I don't got Dobie or but I'll be back next week to watch it in Dobe.
SPEAKER_00So I got it in Dolby a day early. Okay, that's great. That was that was my one big flex on Anthony. Usually he beats me to the Dolbies.
SPEAKER_01I do. I I normally do. But uh yeah, man, I mean, hey, I'm happy for you, my boy. You know what I'm saying? He he he got he finally got us into Adobe. You know what I'm saying? And trying to look from a water bottle, sorry guys. But uh, but yeah, man, uh I'm excited for uh well while we're on the fucking train. This is Spider-Man weekend, you know what I mean? Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Yeah, it is never Spider King. It is Spider-Man weekend. I'm very excited for Spider-Man brand new day. There's a lot of there's a lot of Spider-Man stuff out there this week. I seen somebody said the the whole fucking the whole uh plot and everything got leaked. I d I'm steering clear of the internet. I'm not I'm not looking at that.
SPEAKER_00My buddy when I guess spoilers if you're fucking eight years removed from this Spider-Man movie. Yeah. Um when Brand or when No Way Home came out, I went to go see it with my sister and a couple of her work friends, and then my buddy, and he looked up if there were multiple Spider-Mans, Spider-Man, yeah, whatever the plural for spider guys are, and he tried to tell me in the movie until we got to the scene where he's like show me Peter Parker, and he elbowed me, and I'm like, I know, I know, I know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, fucking, so like I've so I'm excited about this because the last few Marvel movies did have kind of like spoiled for me. I had blade and fucking I had blade and fucking and fucking what's my man? Gambit spoiled for me in Deadpool and Wolverine. I had that spoiled for me the day before, literally the day before I went to go. I had the Tony Stark Infinity Gauntlet. Like, I didn't know what it was. I didn't know what I was looking at like like like the night before I went to go see the Endgame. Pissed me off. So like I'm staring clear of the fucking internet for this week. I really am.
SPEAKER_00I'm I just stared clear of the internet for the next four five months.
SPEAKER_01Well, I get to see it on Friday. So so I'm excited about that. And then but uh did you get the Doom stuff that I sent you last week? The Doom video I sent you.
SPEAKER_00I okay, guys, this this people don't call me a fake fan. I refuse to watch the trailer.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's it's all right, so I am familiar with Doctor Doom. Like through cartoons about his backstory and stuff, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So I'm familiar with Doctor Doom. I respect Doctor Doom. I know him from like Marvel vs. Capcom, familiar with the Fantastic Four renditions, um, you know, and through cartoons and stuff. Don't know his full backstory. So there's a guy on TikTok that had his full backstory and everything, and I sent it to John, I thought it was real interesting. Dude, the dude is badass. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Badass. And in like the earlier or later years of my life, I should say.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Damn, he's so fucking cool.
SPEAKER_01So you're telling me you didn't watch Doomsday's trailer?
SPEAKER_00No, no, refused to. You should. You should. On movies I really, really want to see. Listen, John.
SPEAKER_01John, John, John, you should. You should watch this trailer. I watched this trailer like six times back to back, dude. Oh man, it's so fucking good. It's so fucking good.
SPEAKER_00You know, this is a non and Anthony, you can't speak on this. I did, so I try not to watch leaks because I think they're shitty and we shouldn't support them. No, we shouldn't support leaks. But I felt like this one was my one exception where the and this is just a me thing, so for our two other fans of this franchise that I get to talk to this two for the Kingdom Hearts Missing Link was the canceled game. It was gonna be the next game to come out before five or four, I mean. And they ended up releasing the full intro cinematic online. And I gave in and I did watch that.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I'm telling you, so like everything we've gotten so far has just been teasers. Like, I don't know if you watched like the little teasers like they did, like with uh yeah, yeah, and some of the small ones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like like with the Xavier and the Thor one and all that. Like, dude, it's good, bruh. It's good. It's it's not too much because it doesn't even show everybody.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's always my fear, man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it doesn't show everybody, but you get this great scene with Doom. And then I will say this one thing, and it's not really a spoiler. You get to hear Doom's voice.
SPEAKER_00How how was it? Was it awful?
SPEAKER_01I'm not expecting it to be paying. I'm not telling you shit. I'm gonna tell you like this. Only thing I'm gonna tell you, you didn't know it was RDJ.
SPEAKER_00So, guys, Anthony's gonna make me watch this trailer so I can talk about it.
SPEAKER_01You got to watch this fucking trailer, bro. I'm telling you, it's that fucking good, bro. If you go see Spider-Man, it's gonna be there. So you ain't got no choice but to watch it. But I'm telling you, No, that's not true. I can show up late. Yeah, then you'd be pissed if you miss something. But uh He's right, but damn it, I won't do it. But dude, you should watch this trailer. It's okay, so I'll just tell you. All right. The fuck the voice, I I want to hear more of it. There's a scene with Doom. Fucking dope. It's a scene that everybody was talking about from can't remember if it was last year Comic-Con or an event that Marvel had or whatever. I heard about the scene, just saw it with the trailer drop. Fucking great scene, dude. Great, great little scene. You get a little bit of, a little bit of not everybody, but the people we've seen before, you know, like the teasers. My boy Scott Summers, yes, you get to see Scott Summers in it. Gambit, you see Gambit. You don't see Deadpool. You see the Fantastic Four, and there's one more. You want me to tell you who it is?
SPEAKER_00Spider-Man? No, you know, there's no there's no Spider-Man or in it. You want me to tell you who it is? Who? Steve Rogers.
SPEAKER_01Just because Steve Rogers is one of the teasers that we got. You know, I will I'm comfortable telling.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm okay with that, yeah. Because I knew it was already in the movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So yeah, yeah, yeah. But dude, it's it's it but the moment that you get with you gotta watch the fucking trailer, bro. I'm telling you, you gotta you're doing you're doing your surprise you're you're surprised that I didn't. Oh, no, dude. I sent you the fucking trailer. It's that good, bro. I know. I couldn't watch it, bro. You should watch it. But let's watch, let's talk about the trailer you did see. And and then the big fucking all right, so let's let's let's watch away with Marvel. Let's watch Wait with Marvel, bro. But yeah, nah, man. Spider-Man comes out this weekend. What do you what do you expect, John? Where do you think it's gonna land? Where do you think this is gonna land for you?

SPEAKER_01I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna tell you. I have high hopes for this, but I am cautious because if it does what I think it's gonna do, it'd be the first Spider-Man movie with one Spider-Man and multiple villains to execute and do it well.
SPEAKER_00You guys notice how he he made me put my money where my mouth was?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I'm excited for it. I really want, I really hope, and I really hope this is this lands. So, fun fact that I learned, and I hope it's true. I heard that Sadie Sink isn't playing in her name, Sadie Sink from Stranger Things ain't in her name. She isn't playing Gene Gray as everybody thought she was.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, a lot of people think she's playing Mary Jane right now.
SPEAKER_01No, she's supposed to play Mary Jane. No, she's supposed to be playing Rogue.
SPEAKER_00I can work with that. I'm not mad at that. Rogue kind of has weird.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's supposed to be playing, supposedly supposed to be playing rogue. So that's pretty dope. We're gonna get, you're gonna get fucking as far as we know. We're speculating here. You got you get a little bit of Punisher, you got Hulk, you got Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_00My only concern is having Gene Gray in this movie.
SPEAKER_01If Jean Gray is in this movie, that's what I'm saying. If Jean Gray is in this movie movie. We don't know. We don't know, we don't know which, because she's supposed to launch the mutes. That's what she's supposed to do. She's supposed to launch the mutes. So we don't know who she's playing. We don't know if she's playing, we don't know if she's playing Gene. We don't know if she's playing the rogue. We don't know who she's playing. So, yeah, man. I mean, then you got Keith David playing Lizard.
SPEAKER_00He looks great, by the way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I haven't seen it. I don't know who I ain't seen his lizard yet. I heard his voice, but I can't wait to see where that goes.
SPEAKER_00Um and we got uh He playing Doc Connors, though.
SPEAKER_01Him playing Doc Connors, who else better to play Doc Connors? That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00Oh man, I'm I'm blanking on his name. You got Scorpion actor.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you got the guy that played from Far Cry. Yeah, you got him coming back as Scorpion. Which I'm loving.
SPEAKER_00I'm also fairly certain, and I might need to fact check myself on this. He also plays Mac in the uh in the Spider-Man PS4 game. Don't quote me. Not sure. I think he does. Yeah, but I know he looks great.
SPEAKER_01You know, it'd be a dope Easter egg, and I'm and I just want a full circle moment. If Michael Keaton's in this movie.
SPEAKER_00You know what I really want? What was that? I want Scorpion to meet J. Jonah Jameson. That'd be pretty cool. Please. Please. Because you know, like the whole reason he's Scorpion is because J. Jonah Jameson. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. If we can get it, that'd be awesome. If not, it's okay. I understand. We've already kind of set up Scorpion. Crazy to say, over a decade ago at this point, I'm pretty sure.
SPEAKER_01You know, okay, so here's all who like characters that have been confirmed for this movie, right? Because Sadie Sink is still listed, but isn't her character isn't listed. She's just Sadie Sink. So you got Peter Parker, you got MJ, you got Ned, you got Frank Castle, you got fucking you're gonna love this one. You got fucking Tombstone.
SPEAKER_00I was very excited when they when they revealed Tombstone. Yeah. Very excited. I forgot. Did they reveal uh Booking Woodvine in this one?
SPEAKER_01No, not no. It's Corondo. He played in Black Lightning. He played a dude in Black Lightning. Yeah, he was the villain.
SPEAKER_00I want him to come back as Shocker because we haven't gotten him as Shocker again.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that shit would be dope. And oh, it's Michael Mando who plays Scorpion. What's his name? Yeah, Michael Mando. And then what's crazy is fucking Luke uh uh Luke Gross. Luke Goss is coming back. He's playing Frederick, aka Fred, aka Boswell. All right. And then, you know, we've got like Mark Ruffalo, Keith David isn't named in here. I'm not gonna get into any other actors because it's getting a little spoiler-ish.
SPEAKER_00Spoiler heavy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I think Gwen Stacy's gonna be in this movie, though, by some of these actresses that's in here. Might get our Gwen Stacy.
SPEAKER_00We could.
SPEAKER_01Or we could because Kieran Shipka, the girl who plays Sabrina, she's in here. She doesn't have a name under her thing. And I think she might.
SPEAKER_00I mean, they've been pretty intentional about hiding.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I think she might play with Stacy.
SPEAKER_00Do you? And you're gonna be.
SPEAKER_01That's all I'm saying. Yeah, I know J.K. Simmons casting was announced, and it's incredible.
SPEAKER_00Best decision they've made.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And we're only two days away, guys. We're only two days away from this movie.

SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, sucks to live on the West Coast, brother. And hey man, I cannot this is gonna be the first Screen X movie I experienced.
SPEAKER_00I'm so excited, guys. I I really can't wait to see it. Yeah. Also, like, I'm excited that Jacob Bolton's back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like, dude, literally.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, dude, I'm literally about to fucking watch this shit on the 31st at 8:30 a.m. And then I'm going back on the first and watch it at 10 a.m.

SPEAKER_00Are you, now that we're we're in it, you know, there's no there's no pulling out at this point. Do you want Zendaya to continue to be Mary Jane? I like Zendaya though.
SPEAKER_01This is like one of the few roles that I actually like her in. I mean, I'm not saying I don't like her in any roles, it's just it's one of the few roles that I actually look forward with her in it.
SPEAKER_00It's I mean, like, I always love it just because, you know, Spooderman and her. Yeah. Like, that was a lightning in a bottle casting that can never be recreated. Especially now that Tom Holland's 30.
SPEAKER_01Feels weird. It does. But uh, this movie is also rumored. This is a rumor. I don't have any clarification on it, but uh it's rumored that we might be getting our tease at Miles Morales or might see Miles Morales in this movie.
SPEAKER_00The big theory, you've heard the big theory, right? What's that? So in one of the posters, when he's upside down, as you look at the the tracks and the snow, it's a different whatchamacallit. It's a different tread. It's a different shoe tread than what's on the bottom of his feet. A lot of people are like, oh, that's Miles. It could be, it could be Miles, it could also be, you know, and I mean Anthony, I know how you feel about this guy. The best guy. The one. The only, not Miles Morales. Miles Morales. No? Shamit Moore? Nah, I think he's too old.
SPEAKER_01I think I think he is too old. Isn't it Shamit Moore? Like 30? 30 something. I mean, because Miles is supposed to be younger than Peter.
SPEAKER_00Miles' supposed to be like, well, I mean, I guess he could be like 19, 20 here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, I'm just saying, but Miles is supposed to be younger than Peter. Peter's in his mid-20s, right? Well, early to mid-20s, right here, right? Yeah, that's what he's supposed to be. That's what he's supposed to be. Like, they're supposed to be finishing up the college now. So I believe this is supposed to be like exactly how far in the timeline it is from the last movie. So we're what, four to five years removed? You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Anthony, I think we're we gotta be more removed than that from No Way Home. You think? No way home is is five years, man. So I said four to five years, John.
SPEAKER_01It's been a long time, man. I said four to five years removed from the last movie. So so um, so yeah, so in theory, so in theory, Peter, let's say Peter was finishing up high school then, so he was 18, right? So Peter's 23, 24. Yeah, since Peter's 23, 24, he's mid-20s.
SPEAKER_00So Miles He's an old man like me. He's my age.
SPEAKER_01Get out of here. So Miles needs to be uh at least, you know what I mean, 19, 18, 19.
SPEAKER_00So I think he's a little bit older to like buy that he's not. you know, a total fucking like, you know, a buy that he could actually be a part of this.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I mean my two can my two candidates is the same two candidates that we have is Miles Brown or either Caleb McLaughlin. McLaughlin. Yeah McLaughlin, yeah. Because both of them are in their early 20s and you can buy them still as teenagers. Yeah, Caleb's my so Caleb's 24, yeah, and then um because Tom is 30, so you buy it. The age difference. I think Miles Brown looks the most like Miles Morales. So I like Miles Brown. I'm not mad at that casting. I just don't know because he's and and then with uh Miles Brown being biracial, you know what I'm saying? I think that works more into his, you know what I'm saying? Because Miles is biracial. You know yeah he's he's biracial. So you know what I mean I think I think that works. But anyway man we spend a little too much time on our favorite webhead.
SPEAKER_00You mean the best superhero second best he's better than Batman but we'll get to that he's not better than Batman he's not if someone out there got their feelings very hurt right now.
SPEAKER_01I mean he's he's clearly number two but yeah I was gonna say but no man damn but yeah nah man I I love the dire I can't wait for us to come back next week and talk about this movie.
SPEAKER_00Like I'm I'm ecstatic I'm I I'm really ecstatic about this review will have to like will be done perhaps maybe even the day out possibly I don't know it depends on what what our schedule look like because I'll probably be too busy watching this shit adobe if I can get another seat.
SPEAKER_01I'm probably I'm being dead serious. Knowing my son I'm watching it the first time without him he's gonna want to go back and watch it again. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then you're gonna have to be like all right let's go. Yeah and I'm not gonna tell him no the fuck I want to and listen to this man. Oh what? Oh son yeah I'd love to take you to go see Spider-Man it's no big deal at all.
SPEAKER_01Yeah yeah the fuck let's go not going for myself exactly the fuck no I'm not gonna tell him no the hell it's his favorite superhero I'm not gonna tell him no can we get into one of my top ten superheroes? Okay so before we move on before we move on in the state of live action I think we went over this last time before this movie comes out what's your top give me the top okay we know the bottom two we know the bottom two right and and we know what Amazing Spider-Man and three amazing Spider-Man 2 Amazing Spider-Man and amazing amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 are at the bottom uh the Amazing Spider-Man but okay no amazing Spider-Man is better than Spider-Man 3 so don't even play so we know those two are at the bottom what are your top four Spider-Man strictly live action strictly live action because we know where we both stand at with across the unfortunately the Spider-Verse movies are are more than two yes okay we'll go all right Spider-Man 2 I think that's that's the obvious answer for the best live action Spider-Man then we'll go it's your Mount Rushmore it's your Mount Rushmore you're four my Mount Rushmore okay yeah okay I acknowledge No Way Home is not hold up as well on a rewatch it does I do acknowledge that it does it's got some problems no it doesn't it it's it's perfect the way it is I don't give a fuck I'm tired of the scrutiny we're not blinded by nostalgia put the movie on your Mount Rushmore bro as my number two okay then I'll go I think Spider-Man won you know so iconic it's the original it's it's deserved its place for a long time got the best live action green goblin and the only live action green goblin of course but debatably one of the best live action villains and one of my hot picks on the same tier as the Joker people just aren't ready to hear that conversation she's not on the same tier but go ahead and then I'll go that was one two and three last one I'll go I'll I'll go homecoming I'll go homecoming because Homecoming's a fun time I think it embodies Peter Parker at its core and even though it's got a lot of the Iron Man Jr problems it is the first MCU Spider-Man and unfortunately I'm sorry Andrew you just don't deserve a spot bullshit but okay that's why I gave him no way home okay that's all this is where Anthony's gonna try and roast it again I'm not roasting nothing I mean it's a solid list. Why would I roast that for his oh I I get my not rushing that's what I'm looking for okay I'm definitely putting Spider-Man 2 of course no way home I mean it's basically the same list Spider-Man 2 no way home and then I'm going with I'm being real with you I'm going with amazing Spider-Man and I'm going with Spider Man one I think I'm being real I think amaz I think amazing Spider-Man one does a lot right than Spider Man Jr and does a lot right more than far from home interesting like I love the whole fucking I love all the thing that it got wrong is that Peter is cool and not a nerd I thought you were gonna say that Green Goblin was a Power Ranger. No no no no no no no but no no no I I mean like I gotta put Spider-Man one there.
SPEAKER_00I mean and if I had to replace Spider-Man one with homecoming it's only because of Michael Keaton's vulture so don't worry guys me and Anthony being webheads spider fans part of the spider families decide to rank all these movies after we see brand new dates I mean I think we should I mean I think that might happen next week whenever we record for at the brand new date so it will be a very in-depth beautiful review. Oh yeah this this is this is good y'all gonna see us fanboy for real guys Anthony don't even like Spider-Man like that.

SPEAKER_00Oh oh oh okay okay all right I'm cool with this we're talking about the less important one first okay yeah yeah David Johnson not that I dislike David Johnson I was blown away by this guy in the long walk Anthony was sold on him in Romulus.
