In just a few days we arrive at the Spring Equinox, that rare moment when the Earth pauses in balance, when light and dark stand as equals. Nature reminds us that before growth begins, harmony must return, so today’s card pull asks a simple question for all of us:  From where does your wisdom come? What is your instinct? What is the root of your power?

All right, everyone. I am so sorry to get this episode out late this week. I could say time got away with me and make excuses, but time got away with me, so I'll make excuses. Saturday, y'all, I tell you what. Saturday, man, I got like 20 something thousand steps in. Y'all, that's about two steps in for uh two days' worth of steps. Saturday, woke up. Obviously, I woke up. Why the hell do I have to say I woke up? Obviously, I woke up because I'm speaking, I'm here. But I awoke in the morning and just had some breakfast. And y'all, I did yard work. Yard work, I love yard work. It's so much fun. It just brings me joy. I had some headphones on, my shocks not sponsored, just singing, having a great time. Got some applause by the neighbors. I felt like an idiot, but what the hell do I care? I'm on this 3D earth. I might as well enjoy it while I'm working. So I was doing yard work and having a gay old time and just working in the house and doing this, that, and the other. And then Sunday, nothing. Sunday, y'all. I took a break. I got like bar I got like 5,000 something steps. I hardly did anything. I relaxed, did a little bit of uh straightening, clean the kitchen, cooking some food. We had some wonderful friends over. But that was it. That was my weekend. And I was like, um, I haven't recorded the new episode of Lesson with Wesley, but I said, I'm not gonna rush it. I'm not feeling it. I should do it. But here we are. So welcome. Enough rambling and enough tangent. Welcome to episode 35. Messages for the Spring Equinox. Hold me. Uh, not hold me. Yes, hold me, y'all. Hold me in your uh astral arms in your quantum hearts. But excuse me while I'll take a sip of my bourbon. Mm-mm. That is so good. That is maker's mark. Thank you, Lady Whiskey. Okay, folks. We are uh this Friday, I believe, we got the spring equinox. So in just a few days, uh, we're going to enter this rare moment when the earth pauses in balance, when light and dark stands as equals. Nature reminds us that before growth begins, harmony must return. So as I was preparing for this card pull and thinking, I I know the last episode I did like a past, present, future. I said, you know what? I feel like doing a mix of cards this time of Oracle decks. So I chose the Wisdom of the Elders Oracle, that's by Sean Leonard. Um, the artworks by Tracy Metallic and Aaron Goo Goo, and the middle card, which is the instinct card. I chose to do the enchanted forest oracle cards, and then the oh, I love this. The um the grounding or the root. Of course, I went to the trees, y'all. I went to the OM Sticks. I mean, what better what better divination future guidance inner guidance tool could you use to ground yourself than going to the OM Sticks? I need to get my Etsy store started on those. I need to make a bunch during the summertime. Alright. So anyway, so that that was my that was my in that was my instinct, my intuition, what I wanted to do to tie this into the spring equinox about finding balance. Of course, tying it into the year of the fire horse. I don't want to keep harping on those goals and stuff we planted during the Yule Tide, but that's it. That's a lot of it, guys. All that planting and seeding that we did during the Yule tide, during the Yule season, of how seeds don't just burst forth automatically. Uh they take time growing underneath and then they gradually burst forth, and then like I'm I'm Nathan and I are moving, so obviously I'm not planting my tomatoes in the ground. I'm doing them in pots, which I've never had luck with. But I sat out there Saturday and I put some Reiki energy in there and focused. And I did some trimming, y'all. I did some trimming. Uh I got the plants about two, three weeks ago, two weeks ago. And I pulled off those little buds because they don't need to start producing fruit yet. Their roots need to get stronger so they can support the you know, the their their goals and their dreams that to make those that fruit come to fruition. So that's why I pull those buds off and so those roots can get stronger. So man, so it's just yes, it's about growing, finding a balance between your dreams, your goals, where you are, how are you with your work and your inner self, your spirituality? Are you fine where are you finding your guidance, your wisdom from your ancestors? Trusting yourself. It's all about shedding those old doubts, y'all, from last year, those old doubts of that wood snake, shedding those fears, those doubts, what's not needed, and grabbing on to that inner strength and moving forward with the year of the fire horse. So I love that this spring equinox is coming up. And I I said time's getting away. Good lord, y'all. I'm recording this now. It's no longer Monday, it's now Tuesday morning, early, 0001 a.m. Central Time. I started about 11:30 central time. What would that be? 23.30? Oh, but anyway, I know we're getting tired, especially y'all teachers out there. Y'all, I've got two weeks. Two weeks, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks until spring break, and I am so excited. I really don't have um any plans for the spring break, just maybe starting to pack because Nathan and I are just getting ready to pack up and move at the end of May. But anyway, we got two weeks, then we have a spring break, and then we got a long, long seven-week stretch. But anyway, alright. So, sorry this wasn't out there for y'all Monday. I hope y'all can just tap in and reach in that next day. This is gonna be a great week. It's gonna be a great month. So get ready to ground yourselves, get ready. Whatever you have to do to prepare yourselves, do that deep box breathing, breathe in for four, hold for four, out for four. If you're outside, if you can go barefoot, go ahead and go barefoot. Oh, I ain't going barefoot outside right now. I'll be polar bear with my feet. It is cold outside, y'all. It's gonna be a low of 33 tonight with like negative temperatures with that wind chill. We brought some plants in. Speaking of tomatoes, I brought my tomato tomato plants in and my Venus fly trap. Thank you, Krause, my sweet teacher. Love ya. She got me a Venus fly trap about three years ago, and I've kept that sucker going. But anyway, here we go. All right. Ground yourselves, set your intentions during the spring equinox. What balance do you need to find? Is it a balance between the left and the right? The yin, the yang, the feminine, the masculine, a balance between work and yourself, your family and yourself, guys. You gotta what they say in the uh leader and me, you gotta sharpen that saw. You gotta sharpen that saw, take care of yourself first before you can take care of someone else and others. Alright, here we go. Okay, so we have the wisdom card. Now the grandmother moon cycles, all of creation is connected to spirit, and this includes the celestial bodies that make up our night sky. There is a vast interplay of connections found between our daily life, the natural and spiritual world, and the need to revere all that is around us. Great respect must be paid must be paid to Grandmother Moon, the cycles of the moons, they have an immense impact on earth. It's a time of power, second only to the ability of the Great Spirit to give life during which a woman's energy is at its strongest. Traditionally, during this time she does not prepare food or medicine, take part in ceremonies, or use a pipe and other sacred items because the flow of energy within her is so strong that she would drain the energy of those items or render them neutral. This is a sacred time that represents an inherent connection to Mother Earth, which helps prepare the body to give and receive life. If you've drawn this card today, take note of the current moon phase and the cycles within your own life. There's a strong possibility of a major shift of it in energy taking place. There might be a need to clear away what no longer is needed. Now's the time to focus. Tap into your own intuition, your other any other feminine energetic principles such as creativity and nurturing yourself and others. I love that about tapping into yourself, folks. Tapping into your power. Once you release that power, all other power fades. Man, that good god, that was pretty spot on. We are not learning, folks. We are not learning. You hear me? We are not learning, we are remembering. Remembering what, Wesley? Remembering what who we are, remembering what we already know. So this message, there's a shift going on, it's already underway. Some other chapters, some other things that no longer belong, those are ending. There might be ending quietly, and we have new phases beginning within us, folks. New phases. Whether we are ready or not, they are moving forward. Are we waiting to hear about a job position? Me, myself. I've had two principles respond back. I've had one very promising. If I don't get that job position, you know what I tell myself? That just means something else? It's underneath those roots we're growing to burst forth into something spectacular, something more meaningful than a job that I didn't get. But this card also gives a gentle instruction about pay attention to your intuition. What are your emotions telling you? Nurture yourself, nurture others. When Nathan and I move into this new town home for the next three years, my goal is on Thursday nights. My goal on Thursday nights is to start setting up sound bowls and just setting up. Oh, Thursday nights, I'm going. Wesley's setting up. Wesley's setting up. Yeah, pulling clients, great. But to be able to nurture others, just to share my gifts, my intuition, to bring someone to that threshold of their power to know where they are, to look within themselves instead of looking outside, look within yourselves. Find that strength, y'all. Find that power within. Find that wisdom that rises from within. Stop looking outside yourselves. We are powerful, folks. And then that middle card, this will embrace your unique gifts and talents. This is where that instinct comes in. My instinct tells me to set up. My instinct tells me to get the ego out of the way. And just put yourself out there and reach out to others. Nathan and I are moving, so we're moving away from this beautiful place that we have built. This wonderful place that we call the sanctuary. And all that work and planting that we've done. You know what grows? Thorns. They still grow. They choose to grow. They don't apologize for what they do, they just grow because that's what they're supposed to do. Why do I say that? Guys, just go for it. Do what you're meant to do. Be powerful. Your uniqueness is not a flaw. It's your purpose. During this time, you were gonna start to recognize gifts that are within you. You might not have even discovered those gifts yet. Or either you have this gift, but yet you're scared. Don't be scared, folks. Don't be scared of the world. Don't be scared of being made fun of. Step out there, the world's too short. This life is too short. If you believe that we chose this world to learn, well, then step out in this 3D world and learn. Step out and put yourself out there. Be who you're meant to be. Remember, what talents have I been holding back? What talents have you been holding back? What makes you different? What makes you realize this wonderful strength that you have that no one else has? And spring, you know it's not just about growth, it's about true growth. Don't just change because you think you're supposed to. Change because you're like, damn it, now's the time to change. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of being here. I'm sick of being stuck. I'm sick of being stuck in this cycle of doubt, of depression, of fear. I am sick of being stuck in this this trap of of victim blaming or victimhood. I am breaking forth. As the seed breaks forth, my roots have taken shape, they have taken hold. It's time to go. And the mighty Owam Sticks. Thank you, Irish, thank you, Ireland. Thank you for these wonderful OWAM sticks. Black Thorn, folks. This is the root, this is the grounding. Uh, Black Thorn. Black Thorn stands for magical aptitude. That could be your own magic, folks. And your skills, otherworldly influence, tapping into your ancestors, tapping into your spirit guides, your higher self. Don't doubt yourself. Oh, I'm only hearing what I'm telling myself. You're right. You are absolutely right. You are hearing what you're telling yourself, your higher self. Get out of that left brain. Oh, I'm thinking this because of that. No, get into that, lower that left brain. See that color fade and see that right brain rise. I am tapping into my right brain, my intuition, my instinct. Get out of the logical. Sure, you're hearing what you're telling yourself. You know why? Because your higher self knows. So trust yourself. Once again, Blackthorn. Otherworldly influence, your influence, protection, and boundaries. Now that boundaries could be like setting up your own boundaries, setting up your magical boundaries, your boundaries of protection. So the blackthorn with its sharp thorns, it reminds us that this wisdom is also about discernment, stopping and discerning. As a new energy arrives and we start awakening to our gifts, these boundaries become stronger. They are necessary, folks. These boundaries are necessary. You surround yourself with the energy that you want to be surrounded with. Not because they're family, not because they're blood, but you surround yourself with that energy that you choose to surround yourself. I choose to let this energy in, and I choose to not let this energy in. Y'all, the other day I was on a walk. I was listening to a podcast, and this woman was talking about, oh, and I went to a medium, and she said, My great-great-grandfather, I don't know his name. It starts with an L and the lady said, I don't know his name either. And immediately I said, Leon. And then the lady gets off the well, she ends the uh meeting with a medium, and she went to her mom and she called, well, she called her mom and said, What was your dad's dad's name? Leon. And I was like, Holy shit. Now, yes, I'm a huge Roseanne fan, and I do know the name Leon from Roseanne. But out of all the L's, I could have said any name. Why did I say Leon first off? Right off the bat, I said Leon. Because that is immediately what I heard, y'all. That is immediately what I heard. And then if I was tapped to my left brain, I would have been like, Oh, uh, I I'm just saying that because of Roseanne, because I've watched that episode millions of times. Get out of your left brain, believe in yourself. It happened. Take it. These gifts are awakening, folks, because we're tired. We're tired of being told that we can't believe this, we can't believe that. We're tired of being told you have to believe what I'm telling you because I'm the one in power and authority. So I'm sending it to you. Oh, this is what is written down, so you have to believe it. Create these boundaries, they are necessary. Blackthorn is all about spiritual protection, being uh setting healthy limits, trusting that inner power. Good God, it all connects. It's also a subtle hint about the otherworldly reminder. We are part of something larger. So, folks, as we enter this time of the spring equinox, the moon it reminds us life moves in cycles. The thistle reminds us our uniqueness is part of the design. The blackthorn reminds us to protect the sacred space where our gifts take root. Y'all go through the rest of this week in power. Knowing who you are, reaching out to those higher guides, your higher self, your inner strength. Find that wisdom. Where does my help come from? Tap into that instinct. Don't doubt it. Don't doubt it. Don't doubt it. Ground yourselves, root yourselves. Create those boundaries. You are magical folks. Gaia bless you.
