In this episode, you will hear from the inverted Page of Cups and the Ogham Stick 'Elder'. They speak of knowing it is ok to play, to dream, to take a break during transitional times, but to have the maturity to know when it is time to "pay the piper"! Enjoy!

How are y'all doing? I hope everyone's doing great today. I know this episode came out a little bit late, and you know, I'll say it anyway. I know it's um I didn't get anything out the last two weeks, but you know that Nathan and I have been moving. Now, could I have done it last week? Yeah, yeah, yeah, but y'all, I wasn't feeling it. I was not feeling it at all. But anyway, I hope you are doing well. I am so excited to be doing this recording. I say new recording, uh not new recording, first recording in our new place. And I can't wait to share the card pool and the OM stick pool. It just tied in beautifully with what's going on, what Nathan and I are going through. Just you know, life in general. Whoops, just life in general, everything just transitions and getting things set up. We have internet, I can record, I feel like recording, things are in place in the new place, and man, those of you that have moved, you know how it is. Just getting things going. Um, we literally have three pieces of artwork left. That's it to hang on the wall. Yes, Nathan and I during this move, we did get rid of some things. Uh, it's like, okay, we don't need this. Don't eat, don't eat, donate. And then it's like, good grief, we still have stuff. Anyway, but we're very blessed, very blessed. Uh, so like I said, the Piper will play again. Why in the world is this the title? Well, folks, let me tell you. So at the new place where we are, here in Hattersburg, we are in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We um it's a beautiful complex. I I've had the idea, I might have mentioned it on a few on another episode. I had spoken about um wanting to once a week, like maybe once a week, uh setting up uh a group sound bath. We have beautiful spots here on the complex where we are, where our our new place is we're in a townhome. Um, and so I told Nathan the other day, I said, ooh, I said maybe I said maybe what I should do is take my backpipes with me. I said, and then play a song or two and then go into the sound bath. I said it'd kind of be fun, like the people hear the pipes and they're like, oh, oh, Wesley's about to start a sound bath, you know, kind of like a call. Um, but anyway, it was just kind of fun, and then I brought that up, and then the card pull when I get into it, when I share that in just a just a moment, one of the phrases for the inverted meaning is hey, it's okay to take a break, but know that it's time, it will be time to pay the piper. And I was like, oh my god, how perfect is that. But anyway, so things are good. I am on antibiotics or Z Pac. Um man, just the move and moving clack, y'all teachers out there, good God, you know how nasty and disgusting classrooms can get. They're just dusty no matter how much you wipe. It's oh my gosh. So moving out of the classroom, packing my stuff, yep, and I'm highly allergic to dust. I just am. I mean, I'm always sniffing, snotting, doing whatever, but I take singular during the seasonal times, and I do the natty pot, and I've got like a flonet spray, so it's stuff it's anyway. But it's in my chest now, but luckily I never lost my voice, but it's just mess. So moving out of the classroom, packing up, that was extra stuff. Dust. Yes, I vacuum and clean a lot, but when you move stuff, you're like, oh, I haven't moved that in a while, but you know how it is. And then moving that and then helping our friend unpack and it's boxes and packaging paper and dust and dust, like, oh my gosh. Anyway, so that's what I've been dealing with, and just being wiped out. Man, when I have an allergy attack and sneeze so many times, y'all, I am just I I have no strength, no energy. So I have been resting, which is great because we needed to rest after finding a new job and ending class with fourth graders, packing a house. We yeah, we had we had movers come and load boxes and furniture, but we still had lots of work to do, and then uh um getting everything ready, it's just been non-stop. Which brings us into the card pool. All right, and this card pool, oh, and my intent behind it? Uh, y'all can set your own intentions in just a little bit, but I just wanted to share my intentions. My intent behind this was yes, this is a card pool for me and us. So I said this is a card pool for us, myself, the listeners. This is a card pool for what in the world do we need to hear right now, today, tomorrow, this week, next week, this month, next month, this year, next year, whenever you listen to it, that was my intent. What do we need to hear? And guys, it was great. Alright, you ready? Here we go. Okay, all right, so wherever you are, what you're doing, if you can uh if you've got a stone or crystal or rock or something you want to hold, you want to ground yourselves, you want to do a few little cycles of that box breathing, breathing in for four, holding it for four, out for four, you know, go ahead and um yeah, go ahead and just do that for a few times. Or if you're outside, you know, maybe uh if you're able to go barefoot and ground yourself, something like that. Just go for it. Hmm. Okay. The um so the deck I chose to use is the uh DJ Conway and Lisa Hunt. That's uh my uh Celtic uh Celtic Dragon Tarot deck. And the um the card that came up was the page of cups. Now that was the inverted page of cups. So if you're looking there on the social media, you'll see that's why the cards, that's why it's turned upside down. Um so the inverted page of cups, now that stands for uh it says a message of love, fresh ideas, new methods of doing things that um for in the future. You might have some message of love arriving, or you receive a gift uh given in friendship. Um I like that one because it talked about yes, coming here, new place, new idea, new ways of doing something, new ways that I can use my sound bowls or tuning forks and tongue drum, which I absolutely love, and I haven't been able to play it in like two and a half, three weeks. Yeah, well, we've been doing transitions, but it ties in because it's a new way of doing something, and uh and when I get in the inverted talks about yes, it's if the inverted page of cups comes up, it's time to to rest, to play, to dream, to take a break, but here's that phrase that pops up. But it is it will be time to pay the piper. And when I read that phrase, I was like, oh my gosh, that is just absolutely perfect. That that phrase popped up. It's okay to take a break, Wesley. You've been working your butt off and you have spent a lot of energy and you've been drained because of this allergy attack and sinuses, so it is okay to take a break and relax and have fun. But keep in mind, it's gonna be time to pay the piper. You need to know, and that ties into the Owem Stick, which was the elder, elder uh Owem Stick, and man, and it talks about endings and transitions, and then this one got me maturity. I was like, uh-oh. Yes, we've been working hard. But you need to know, Wesley, be mature enough to know. Okay, get off your butt now. No, can I rest a little bit longer? Sure, of course, of course you can. Of course we can, and guys, that's one thing we as human beings do. We are too hard on ourselves. We really are too hard on ourselves. It's okay. Take another day or two a week, just relax, enjoy yourself, enjoy where you are. But in the back of your mind, you know, I'm I'm like, okay, I gotta get this going. I gotta get this going going. I wanna do this, I wanna do this, I wanna do that. Okay, it will happen. It's okay. This is a big life transition, lots of emotions and physical. Um I mean, we've been putting a lot of physical energy out there. So, and after this move, yeah, it's a time to recover. Okay, it's a time to recover, and guess what, y'all? It's a time to prepare. So, this time is not just a time of play or rest, it's a time to prepare my mind, it's a time to just prepare my body, my spirit, my soul. And like I said, I could have recorded last week, I really could have, but I just was not feeling it. And you know what? I wasn't prepared, and I told myself I will be in this new space recording when it is time to. And that's what that page of cups remind inverted reminded me, and hopefully reminds you, it's okay to take a break. It's okay. You will know when it's time to start again. Just keep your mind on those goals, those prizes, those uh intentions that you've set. Okay, it's it's we're gathering strength, y'all. We're gathering strength for the next step, the next chapter. And that Owm stick, man, about transitions. Oh, yeah, we just went through a big transition. And what was it? Transitions and maturity, oh, and endings, yeah. So it's a new adventure, it's great. You know, we've learned stuff from the past, and now we're gonna carry that ahead. Um, so that's that was the reading, folks, and so I just absolutely love it. Just taking these skills that I've learned from the past, and now I'm bringing them to this new place in my life. How can I use them? No, I'm not reinventing everything, I'm not reinventing myself, but how can I share these gifts where I am now? You know, something new is going on. So just if you're like me and you're like, okay, it's summertime, especially teachers, it's okay, take a break. This is a mental rehabilitation time. Um, but anyway, uh, and saying all that, folks, wherever you are, don't be too hard on yourself. Uh I was listening to a podcast, I think it's Kara Goodwin um podcast. It was the episode about just gosh, don't be too hard on yourself. So, folks, wherever you are, what you're doing, don't feel bad. Take that break, take that much needed break. Just not trying to reinvent yourself, just taking a break, getting your body ready, getting your mind ready, your spirit ready, your heart, your soul, just getting it ready for the next chapter that's coming up. Okay, just getting ready for these this goal that's right in front of you, this this uh this page of cups, this uh this chalice that's full uh of this prize, you know when to reach for it, when to accept it. Okay, so that's what it's about, and having the maturity to know when to stop resting, when to start uh just taking that step. So, folks, rest. Rest when you need to rest. Dream when you need to dream. But remember, the piper was never meant to stay silent forever. When the time is right, the music begins again. May Gaia bless you.
