Welcome to the Built for Pressure podcast, episode 104. I'm Zoran Stoikovic. Today, we talk about an ancient piece of wisdom that reminds us to stop thinking and start leaping. There is a powerful Serbian phrase that cuts through the noise of intellectual over-analysis. And here it is for you. Kao od lava koji se na sve baca, izbjegavaj mudrovanje od dogmatima. Translated, this means as if from a lion that flings itself at everything, wisely avoid ruminating on dogmas. In the Serbian language, the word mudrovanje is specific. It's not just thinking, it's over-philosophizing or over-intellectualizing. To the point of paralysis. We often hide from the pressure of action by retreating into the safety of dogma, rules, theories, and perfect plans. But a lion's quest doesn't consult a manual before it leaps. It is built for the pressure of the moment. Its quest is the target. We live in a world of mudravanya, right? Of that over-intellectualization. We attend endless seminars on leadership dogmas while avoiding the difficult conversation right in front of us. We study the map of performance while the terrain is asking us to move. Wisdom, according to this quote, isn't found in having more answers. Wisdom is knowing when to stop talking about the dogma and start flinging yourself at the task with the intensity of a lion. The pressure is resolved through the leap, not the ruminating. Today's invitation for you. Today's invitation for application. Where are you currently over-intellectualizing, right? A problem to avoid the leap. So think about that. And there might be a couple of areas, but think about it. You can write it down. So this week, choose one area where you're going to stop debating the dogma and simply fling yourself into the action. And I'd be super curious to hear what you come up with. So I'll see you next time.
