The Wake Up My Daughters Podcast
The Wake Up My Daughters Podcast is a Scripture-based podcast for Christian women growing in daily discipleship with Jesus through consistent engagement with God’s Word.
If you are a Christian woman over 50 who has felt spiritually dry, distracted, or quietly stuck in complacency, you are not alone.
This podcast is designed to help you renew your mind, deepen your walk with Christ, and be formed through Scripture in a steady, practical rhythm with God.
Each week features Scripture-based teaching and guided reflection to help you engage God’s Word more deeply and be transformed by it. Select episodes also include original Scripture songs to help you hide His Word in your heart. You’ll be encouraged to open your Bible, strengthen your spiritual roots, and walk in the purpose God is shaping in you.
You were never meant to walk this journey alone. And it is never too late to be awakened, renewed, and transformed by the Word of God.
Let’s wake up—and walk it out together.

Welcome to the first episode of our new season, Rooted in Who God Is.
This week, we slow down and begin with one of the most transforming truths in all of Scripture: God is holy.
Many of us know this truth intellectually. We’ve read the verses. We’ve sung the songs. And yet, if we’re honest, the pace of life can dull our awe. We approach God casually, distracted, tired—longing for more but unsure how to lift our gaze again.
In this episode, we pause together. We ponder. We allow Scripture and music to awaken our hearts and draw us back into reverence, humility, and wonder before a holy God.
My prayer is that by the end of this episode, you feel freshly awakened, freshly humbled, and freshly drawn near to the One who is unlike anyone else.
Scripture Focus
- Isaiah 6:1–5 — Isaiah’s vision of the Lord, high and lifted up
- Revelation 4:8 — “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty”
These passages remind us that holiness is not just an attribute of God—it is the atmosphere of His presence.
In This Episode, You’ll Experience
- A slow, reflective opening to reset your heart and focus
- Scripture reading that lifts your gaze to the holiness of God
- An original Scripture song inspired by Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4
- Teaching on how encountering God’s holiness reshapes worship, obedience, and daily life
- Guided reflection questions to help you respond personally
- A prayer of confession, surrender, and renewal
- A repeated listening of the Scripture song to let God’s Word settle even deeper
Reflection Questions
Take time to sit with these questions—whether during the episode or afterward:
- Where have I treated God casually this week?
- What would change in my daily life if I truly lived aware of God’s holiness?
- As I listened to the song, what stirred in me—conviction, humility, worship, longing?
- What is one area of my life God may be inviting me to surrender in light of His holiness?
Today’s Takeaway
God is holy… and we are not. But through His mercy, we are made new.
