The Wake Up My Daughters Podcast
The Wake Up My Daughters Podcast is a Scripture-based podcast for Christian women growing in daily discipleship with Jesus through consistent engagement with God’s Word.
If you are a Christian woman over 50 who has felt spiritually dry, distracted, or quietly stuck in complacency, you are not alone.
This podcast is designed to help you renew your mind, deepen your walk with Christ, and be formed through Scripture in a steady, practical rhythm with God.
Each week features Scripture-based teaching and guided reflection to help you engage God’s Word more deeply and be transformed by it. Select episodes also include original Scripture songs to help you hide His Word in your heart. You’ll be encouraged to open your Bible, strengthen your spiritual roots, and walk in the purpose God is shaping in you.
You were never meant to walk this journey alone. And it is never too late to be awakened, renewed, and transformed by the Word of God.
Let’s wake up—and walk it out together.

Welcome back, sister. I’m so glad you’re here, continuing this journey of seeing God for who He truly is.
In this episode of the Wake Up My Daughters Podcast, we focus on a truth that is unshakable, unchanging, and essential in every season of life: God is truth.
We live in a world filled with competing voices, shifting values, and constant noise. It can feel difficult to know what’s real, what’s trustworthy, and what should guide our decisions. But Scripture reminds us that truth is not an idea or a feeling—it is a Person.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). When we anchor ourselves in Him, fear, confusion, and compromise lose their grip.
Today, we slow down to let God’s truth steady our hearts and guide our lives.
Scripture Focus
- John 14:6 — Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life
- John 18:38 — Pilate’s question: “What is truth?”
- Daniel 1 — A life anchored in obedience and truth in a compromised culture
These passages remind us that God’s truth is not abstract—it is practical, protective, and life-shaping.
In This Episode, You’ll Experience
- A reverent reading of John 14:6 to center your heart
- An original Scripture song based on John 14:6
- Teaching that contrasts cultural compromise with biblical conviction
- Reflections on Pilate and Daniel as examples of responding to truth
- Honest encouragement for the places we struggle to live out what we know
- Reflection questions to help you identify where truth needs to lead
- A guided prayer of surrender and alignment
- A second listening of the Scripture song to let God’s Word settle deeper
Reflection Questions
Take a few moments to sit with these questions—during the episode or afterward:
- Where have I struggled to discern or trust God’s truth lately?
- What decisions or responses might look different if I fully applied God’s Word?
- Where have feelings, opinions, or fear been louder than Scripture?
- How could leaning on God’s truth today shape my words, actions, or relationships?
Today’s Takeaway
God’s truth never shifts, even when everything around you does.
