Welcome to Brand Transformations, the podcast where we dive deep into the real stories behind rebranding. I'm Jess Mercier, a brand strategist and designer, and I've had the privilege of guiding incredible entrepreneurs through the journey of stepping into a brand that truly reflects their vision. Hello, and welcome to the very first episode of Brand Transformations. I'm Jess, aka JMM Artist Designer, and I am so excited to take you behind the scenes of what a rebrand really means. First, I want to thank you for listening. Whether you're my sister, who is definitely getting a pre-launch listen, one of my incredible clients supporting my business, or or someone who's just curious about branding and how it all works, I appreciate you spending this time with me, listening to both my voice and my heart. When I first had the idea to start this podcast, I chalked it up to just another one of my crazy dress ideas and set it aside. But that little voice in the back of my mind wouldn't let it go. The truth is my fear of trying something new wasn't nearly as important as my passion for sharing what I love most. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. As a full-blown creative, my journey has had its ups and downs, just like every entrepreneur's. But over the past five years, I've built my business around one core belief. Branding is art with a purpose. It's about helping businesses gain clarity on their values, their goals, and their own purpose. And when that clarity is there, we translate it into a professional visual identity that allows them to connect with the people they are meant to serve. This podcast has been on my heart for a long time because I've seen firsthand how transformative branding can be, not just for a business. but for the person behind it. It's never just about colors, fonts, or logos. It's about stepping in to the next level of your business, owning your voice, and showing up in a way that feels aligned and powerful. Over the years, I've worked with so many creative entrepreneurs. People who came to me feeling stuck, disconnected from their brand, or unsure of how to communicate who they really are. And here's what I've learned. Rebranding is not just a visual shift. It's a mindset shift. It's about clarity, confidence, and sometimes even rediscovering why you even started in the first place. It's about finding your why. I created this space to share those stories, the real why. unfiltered experiences of entrepreneurs who have been through the rebranding journey. And I mean real. This isn't going to be a heavily edited, polished production. My goal is to keep these conversations as honest and transparent as possible. We're embracing the imperfect because rebranding, just like running a business, isn't about perfection. It's about growth, learning, stepping forward, even when things aren't perfectly scripted. So this is what you'll hear.
