Many individuals and families are suffering from the stacking difficulties of broken relationships, personal hardships, disordered desires, unwanted symptoms, addictions, and our own fallenness. Some of us may even feel isolated, ashamed, and or that life’s circumstances just don’t make sense. You might even be saying- this is not how I imagined my life to be, suffering can feel like a great burden. Many of us don’t know a way out, so we find ourselves stuck. Which is where God comes in, and really, that is what this podcast is all about— The freedom that he offers each one of us through His son who already redeemed the world! 

Hi - I’m Melissa Krupp, your host of The Abundant Catholic Podcast- I am a Catholic wife and mother to 5 and I love nothing more than connecting others with the vulnerable heart of Christ while living in the adventure and freedom of a Holy Spirit led life. I have a passion for sharing in the truth, most especially with those who are suffering and seeking healing, as God has personally taken me out of the grave and into his abundant freedom. My husband, Anthony and I have been married for over 10 years and after walking through our own personal and marital recoveries we share a powerful healing testimony of God’s redemptive love and how entering into the cross allows us to live more fully in His presence. We have since founded the Abundant Catholic where we walk with fellow Catholics (like you!) into freedom by reclaiming & restoring who God made you to be! 

As catholic christians we believe that through our baptism we enter into the mystery of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. That all of our griefs, sorrows, sufferings, and longings are already integrated and redeemed in the Body of Christ. Which means there is nothing we need to do to earn this abundance of love and mercy.  In the book of Isaiah it says “ Behold I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Christ is doing a new thing in you. You are listening to this podcast trailer right now… do you trust that he will make a way for you? On this podcast We share in a deep love for the Catholic we will be delving into all things faith, marriage, and family, to help you lead a Spirit-led Life, foster a holy-ground marriage, and build a firm foundation family. 

Sharing topics like….how to Live out a total, fruitful, faithful and free marriage, healing from wounds and unmet needs, leading a spirit -led life, theology of the body, our identity in Christ, and much more! Finally answering questions you have been asking like- how do i live in real relationship with God? What does healthy emotional intimacy look like in a marriage? How do we grow as a couple spiritually? What if I am catholic and struggle with same-sex attraction? How do I raise a family for christ in the world today? We will cover all these things and more! The nitty gritty details are often the most important when it comes to the interior life and living in the full freedom of the Lord as the man or woman he made us to be. Each episode is created for you- the intentional catholic seeking fulfilment not in the world, but in Christ.
