Why Emotional Reps Kill Consistency
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
ποΈ Most athletes think emotion is the problem β itβs not. In this episode, Tyler explains why elite athletes feel emotion but refuse to let it dictate their reps. Frustration, nerves, excitement, and fatigue are part of competition. What separates consistent performers is their ability to execute based on intention, not emotion. When emotion drives effort, performance becomes unstable. When intention drives action, performance stays steady under pressure.
Takeaway: Elite athletes donβt eliminate emotion β they execute in spite of it.
