She's Got The Mic
She’s Got the Mic is the podcast for women entrepreneurs and aspiring speakers who are ready to trust their intuition, own their voice, and grow a business using the power of speaking and visibility.
Hosted by Lauren Chapnick, a lifelong entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and registered nurse, this show explores what happens when women stop waiting for permission and start using their voice—on stage, online, and in their business—to create momentum, confidence, and impact.
Each episode features women on the journey to becoming speakers, alongside entrepreneurs who are already using speaking as a strategic tool to grow their business. You’ll also hear from expert storytellers and intuitive leaders sharing real conversations about confidence, reinvention, presence, and showing up before you feel ready.
This isn’t about hustle or perfect messaging. It’s about intuition, boldness, creativity, and having the courage to take the mic.
If you’re a woman who speaks—or feels called to speak—and wants to use her voice to grow her business, you’re in the right place.
Because when a woman owns her voice, she can own any room.
And when you hand a woman a microphone? Magic happens.
🎤 Take the mic. Own your voice. Build what’s next.

New Name And Mission
Lauren ChapnickWelcome to She's Got the Mic, the show for women speakers and entrepreneurs using their voice to grow their business. I'm your host, Lauren Chapnick. Let's go. Hello, my friends, and welcome to She's Got the Mic. As many of you know, I have changed the name of my podcast from Biggest Best Life to She's Got the Mic. And here we are. I talk a lot about intuition, trusting your gut, distinguishing between fear and that whisper that is your intuition telling you and guiding you what's into what's next. And I can tell you that for me, about a year ago, I was coaching nursing students, I was speaking to nursing students, and I loved so many parts of it, but there was a voice inside of me that I kept hearing. And it was saying, tell your story, tell your story. How at 40 I decided to go back to nursing school and follow this dream that I've had for years. And the evolution that has happened since I made that one decision in 2020 to go back to nursing school, that first domino that just sparked this crazy wave of energy that has not stopped and has multiplied has led us right here. Because I went from podcasting, coaching, speaking to a very specific community of people who I still love, nursing students and new nurses. And it naturally evolved into women who want more in their lives, who are seeking a purpose, who want to speak themselves, who want to start businesses, who own businesses and are seeking a greater community. We all have such power when we come together, and we all have a story to share, and we can all use our voices to share our story, to grow our businesses, and that is what this podcast is all about. I am lit up about speaking. I've been on stage my whole life. I started in church choir when I was five. And since then, I've been a professional actress, I was a musical theater girl, and now I am an aspiring keynote speaker, and it lights me up. I absolutely love being in front of a live audience and providing them with value to share my story and what I've learned about trusting my gut and how you can use your intuition to guide you to what's next. I just absolutely love speaking from the depths of my soul and meeting and connecting with other women who feel the same way that I do. When I started sharing my story on stages this past year has been so incredible. Maybe you've spoken a lot and you just want community. Maybe you just want more opportunity for speaking reps and getting on stages more. That is what this podcast is all about. It is about bringing on experts who can share deep insight into the things that we all need to work on. Crafting your talk, getting better storytelling skills, the business of speaking, the business of entrepreneurship, finding your voice, finding your brand, starting a podcast, whatever it is, all of these things. And it's not going to stop there because I have also created a community called She's Got the Mic Speakers Collective. And this community is for women who want to use their voice to grow their business and get on more stages. What fires me up more than anything is an in-person live event. We can all get on a Zoom call and create a community. Absolutely. There is so much power in that. But when you gather a group of women live in person in a room, that is pure magic. She's got the Mike Speakers Collective is all about live in-person experiences. And it's all about getting on stages, getting better at speaking, growing your business, and most importantly, and most powerfully is connecting with other women who are on this journey with you. 2025 for me was about pivoting from coaching nursing students to getting on stage and sharing my story and providing value for the people who are listening and need to hear what I have to say about trusting your gut and changing your life and reinventing yourself and thinking outside the box, igniting your it factor, really just owning who the hell you are, because at a certain point, it doesn't matter at all what other people think. You have to trust your instinct and do what you know is right. And I think if more people hear that and see it in action all around them, it's going to spark another wave of momentum. And that is what I'm so passionate about. 2026 for me is about continuing with this momentum of telling my story on stages, getting on more stages, and getting better at speaking. I always want to be learning. I always want to be perfecting so that my message can get stronger and resonate with more people. And I know I'm not alone in that. And that is why I have created She's Got the Mic Speakers Collective. This is my membership, and it is for women, speakers, and entrepreneurs who want to use their voice to grow their business. This is a community of women, and I will bring you live stages every single month. We will live stream every single event so you can attend in real time from anywhere in the world. You can watch it back if you missed it. And if you come in person, get ready because we have speaking opportunities with video footage, professional photography, beautiful spaces, and a community of women who all want the same thing and are here to cheer each other on. All of our events are going to feature industry experts who are there to give us workshops, make us better at what we are doing, and get us revved up and excited to share our story, share our message, and grow our businesses and grow as women, as humans, and make the world better. And I'm so excited to put this out in the world because this is something that I think we are all craving is connection, connection in person with other strong, powerful, passionate, ambitious women who all want the same thing. And we all have very different messages and we all have very different things to say. And we are there to be each other's cheerleaders and to support each other. So if you want to know more about my membership and live events that are coming up and how you can be a part of this growing community, you can go to laurenchapnick.com. That is my website. All the information is there. And this season of She's Got the Mic podcast, we are bringing you a lineup that you've never seen before of women, speakers, entrepreneurs, storytellers who are going to share their journey, their insights on their speaking careers, their businesses. And we are all going to learn and grow so much from these conversations. I am so excited for where she's got the mic is headed. And for the people that are going to hear this and get that hit of courage that they need to just get your butt up on a stage and start talking. This is not about perfection at all. This is about doing the damn thing, practicing and getting better because you have something in you. You want to speak, you want to get on a stage, and I am here for it. I am here to support you, to cheer you on, and to bring you all of the best experts to feed you everything that you need to get better and to light that fire under your butt to get up, start working on that talk, start sharing your story because your voice is your greatest asset in your business. And that is what this show is all about. We are all here together in this beautiful community of speakers, women, entrepreneurs, and we all want the same thing. We want connection, we want value, we want to grow as humans and be better. 2026 is our year. We are all going to gather and be part of this incredible community. Whether it's just here in this podcast or you become a member of the Speakers Collective, I am here with you, cheering you on. Let's do this. I will see you next time. Bye-bye.
