SPEAKER_01

Good morning. Good morning, it is the global life. Testing the right speaker. Right. Testing the left speaker. Left. Spawn commander. And now, now the countdown has it come down and had it be done. And now, now. Are you ready for a journey that goes beyond the normal? The federal prospect hockey ring just celebrated its 15th anniversary. What the fuck is that basically rapidly expected? One hockey is now bringing you behind the scenes. Beyond the arenas. This is FPHL. Beyond the glass.

SPEAKER_00

I think so. We got it. We got we got it. We got it rolling. We're having some fun. Hey, listen.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, listen, I had a great weekend. Thank God. I I came through with my pick.

SPEAKER_00

So that's all I'm 100% last weekend, right?

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, there was only two possibilities. So thank god. I rolled the dice and and uh it worked out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. No, yeah, great, awesome weekend to hockey. I mean, both series were you know, both series going three games, both of them, you know, very, very close games. Let's start with let's start with Binghamton and Port Euron. Awesome series. I could have gone either way.

SPEAKER_02

Uh man, uh, like I said last week, I mean, um, if Binghamton, like I said last week, I think I said if Binghamton handles business and gets through, it's not gonna be easy. I know how port is there, there's some dogs out there, and uh my god, it was um I think even game three, port got ahead at first, and uh I was just like, oh my god, are they gonna they're gonna pull the upset? And um they just binghamton, they've just been there before, they don't panic. They you know they got down. I know, I know, uh I know game two they lost, but it's hard to beat those guys twice in a row. I mean, it just it's just the way it is. It's and at home, um, you know, they like I'm pretty good with body language, and even when Port got up early in the third, they just didn't panic. But um, man, Port fought to the end like like I knew they would, and uh it just you know didn't go their way. I think it's like the second year in a row this has happened, and uh yeah, you know, Binghamton they're just what can you say? I mean, uh, I they just they're just they've been there before. That's my main thing. A lot of these teams are stacked in terms of talent, but they just have been there before. They they know they don't panic, they don't, you know, and they just at any given moment they're gonna rattle off two, three goals. So um, you know, they got you know that dominic to make it is unreal. I mean, they're just they're just they're looking real solid.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they're they're just a well-oiled machine. Um and your your boy Reed Cooper. I remember early on in the season, you were uh you know, singing his praises. He was you know, I mean, he he was really good, and I'll tell you what, like gate game three. I mean, he it could have been a different story if it wasn't for Reed Cooper.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, you know, goalies goalies get a bad rap, man. It's so you know, a lot of people they scout these goalies, they look at stats, and they just make it a goalie, man. I don't believe a goalie could ever truly win you a game. Their job is to just keep you in it and give you a chance to win the game. And and at this level, when you have a stud like Cooper Tamey, I was like, man, this series might be a lot closer than you think. I mean, I think Binghamton only scored one goal in game two, I feel like.

SPEAKER_00

Um, you know, like he gave Port a chance and they were one game one, one in game two, and like I mean, like I said, he was I mean, he was great in game three again.

SPEAKER_02

Like he's you know, I pray he moves up next year. I I don't want to see him anymore. So I'm hoping hey, SP ECHL definitely read Cooper's a guy to grab him now.

SPEAKER_00

I know you're you're saying that a week into the season.

SPEAKER_02

Get him, get him, call him up, call him up, call him up tomorrow. But uh, no, he's he's the real deal, and Dominic Timate, too. I mean, I don't think he started the year here. Um, you know, in bingo, but man, wait, when we saw him in Danbury, I'm like, who is this guy now? It's like bingo, they just roll out like it's like a factory, they just roll talent out, and I'm just like, um, he's unbelievable too. I saw him make a glove save. Uh Port had him beat laterally, and and he made a glove save. And I'm just like, it just when you got goalies like that at this level, it's it just puts you in at such an advantage. And um, both those guys series literally could have gone any way, and and like you said, on the flip side, if if there was any other goalies in that spot, it could have been a lot different in the other way, you know. I mean, it could have been a domination, but you know, goalies, they keep you in it uh at this level, and um those those two are are the real deal.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's so calm in net, too. Like, I love that about him that he just plays very, you know, just calm, cool, collected.

SPEAKER_02

Um, no, no panic, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they have a lot of confidence when you see him back there.

SPEAKER_02

I see I saw both those guys all year, and and you you hit it on the head like again at this level, you know, goalies, there could be some good goalies, but a little wild, a little all over. They're just steady. Um, like I said, I'd love to see both those guys get called up next year. I I I hope get them out of here. Listen, I mean, um, you know, any SP or ECHL guys, give them a call. Just uh leave Danbury alone. But Binghamton and Port, you you always gotta, you know, it's funny. No BS, like I, you know, I've I got a nice network of coaches. I just like everyone else, and uh, you know, whenever they call me for call-ups from Danbury, I'm always like, Well, did you look at Port or did you look at Binghamton? You know, we're not doing so well this year. Well, you have you looked them first, you know. I'm always trying to push off, you know. Uh, but uh no, I mean, uh, both those guys, uh, you know, tremendous. You know, Binghamton Mac Jansen is a monster. Um I mean, there's no break on that lineup. You just look like you said, up and down the lineup, there's there's like there's no break.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they're deep, they're real deep.

SPEAKER_02

Any line they throw out there. I mean, Zach Serrada might be my favorite non-Damberry guy in the league. That guy does everything. Um, you know what I mean? Like, like, like uh, it's you know, Gavin Yates. I mean, that guy's not even 100% healthy, I heard. And he's just he's the straw that stirs the drink for them, man. When he's in the lineup, they're just so deep. Um, uh I don't think that Badarenko had a great series, you know, on the stats, but I mean, he's gonna wake up in the finals. That guy's liable to put up five, six, seven goals in the finals. So it's like they're just so scary to play against because you really just don't know you know how to beat. Like, how do you how do you man to man lock them up? And Port again, they uh man, they had some good young, they did a hell of a job recruiting, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they they had some big pickups at the end, too, right at the you know, right at the end here, like three guys from uh, you know, NCAA division one. I mean, like, like again, Port Euron's no joke, like it goes just goes to show you how strong and well-oiled of a machine of a machine Binghamton actually is. I mean, like those three guys that they picked up at the end, um, you know, I think they may have picked up a couple more too, but I know they got you know, got three guys, you know, it should have been three guys out of the division one NCAA level, you know, serious players.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, again, you don't just see D1 guys just falling to the Fed usually, you know what I mean? Nothing against it, it's just they have so many options, and uh yeah, Port has a very, you know, at least this year, they had a very good mix, you know, veterans and yo youth, and you got like a Reggie Millette that anytime he's on the ice, he's liable to put one in the net. Um, like I said, Cooper. I mean, I mean, guys unreal. I mean, so they, you know, they had a hell of a season. They just you know what it reminds me of the last two years is uh for Port, it's like they have such a good team. It's kind of like um it's kind of like the Buffalo Bills back in the 90s, they had such a good team, but they were coming up against the Dallas Cowboys, you know what I mean? And it's like, you know, it's just like when Michael Jordan and his prime playing against the Trailblazers. The Trailblazers, if Michael Jordan and the Bulls weren't who they were at the time, the Trailblazers might have three-peed it. So, you know, Port definitely has a great team, obviously. Um, you know, yeah, yeah, man. It's gonna be it's gonna be interesting to to to see um, you know, where things fall next year for some of these teams, yeah, for for sure.

SPEAKER_00

Like that, you know, great team. And listen, it's a game, right? You could do everything right and still lose, right? Like some like you lose a game or lose a series, it's not always necessarily about you, like, oh, what did I do wrong? It's hey, sometimes it's just the other guys did some some a lot of things, you know, really right. Yeah, I mean, bigum tin, like what is it, threes of dynasty? Is that what they say? Threes of dynasty, they're coming up, you know, like like the well-world machine.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I'm I'm so happy you just said what you said because I try to explain to people like here in Danbury, we had a rougher year, we had a rebuild year, got hot late. But in the beginning, when we were struggling, we weren't, you know, statistically, we're having a bad year, but we weren't a bad team, it's just teams were better, you know. And sometimes, like I try to explain to people, you know, fans, oh, why can't we beat Binghamton? Binghamton is better, you know what I mean? That there was only one game we lost that I could say we kind of threw away late, but other than that, they beat us, they're just better, you know. I mean, um, you know, yeah, I'm so happy you said that because so many times when people you know are are struggling or losing, they they just always look inside first, and it's it's not sometimes like that, it's just other teams better.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So, and yeah, the other interesting thing I've said it before on this show, and I'm you know, I'm gonna bring it up again. Like, you know, um Reed Cooper, you know, first first pro hockey game was in the NHL with the with the Washington Capitals, which is you know, really cool, and you know, you know, you you see why he you know he got that opportunity, you know, and he's playing the ECHL.

SPEAKER_02

Bring him back, bring him, you know, pull him, pull him back up, you know, pull him back up. So yeah, that would be great, but no, the guy's a real deal, and uh I mean, hell of a player.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, for for sure. It was a it was a unbelievable series, both both series, unbelievable. I mean, if we go over to you know, PD Columbus now, I mean, that was yo, like we said last week, you know, don't ever count PD out, can't even count him out with a minute left in the game.

SPEAKER_02

What's that? Two, two, two last minute. I mean, yeah, like two games. They got magic right now, you know. Like, listen, they got magic right now, and and and that's what's interesting about the finals right now. Because I have I still, you know, I had Binghamton from the start going all the way, and like I still believe that, but PD right now is making things so weird because they just have some guys just like uh they just got magic right now, and and and you just like a team, they just do not quit. They're not gonna be intimidated by Bingham Tim. But before we get to that, like you know, with Columbus, it's like a team that's been there before as well. Yeah, flew, you know, just flew under the radar the whole season. I don't know why. They just flew under the radar, and then at the end of the year, you're like, oh my god, this team is stacked, they're the number one score in the league. Like just very under the radar and um great team, you know. Uh Babbin is Babbin, that's my guy. I mean, he played great. It's just PD right now, they just have some sort of magic. I mean, um, you know, I I could not believe they came back in game three the way they did, and you know, winning in overtime. I was watching and I was just like, wow, um, and obviously, you know, I'm a little invested in PD. We have so many ex Damberg guys down there, and I was watching them, but you know, this this this Wilson kid down there, I mean, he's just right now, man, he's just rolling, and uh that team is stacked too. It's just I'll be very blunt. I didn't think I knew they had I've been saying this every week the past few weeks with you. Like I knew they had the skill. Um I just didn't think they had the dog in them, to be honest with you. I just didn't think down one with a minute 30 left, I just didn't think that was a team that would be able to, you know, bring it out of them to come back and win. I just didn't. And and um it's nothing against them. I just thought, hey, this is a a pretty skilled team, pretty, and but they're gritty too, and they and they got through it. So I was wrong about PD. I mean, they are they are serious and um they just got magic right now. And sometimes, you know, in a playoff, that's all it takes. That's Cinderella story.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. And I mean, you know, Gary Graham's done a great job with them, and you know, um, you know, I know him and I were talking in a previous episode about some of the adjustments that he's made and everything. And like, yeah, like he's just in a he's just done a great job with them. And you know, it it's not you know, to me, like it's not surprising to see them in the finals, you know, not saying that like I had them picked to be in the finals, but I'm not surprised. Like they, you know, like again, like they've had a very tough schedule the whole year. They were kind of like the unsung hero, if you will, like, you know, or the sleeper pick where you know they're they're they were much better than what their record reflected all year. They got off to a really rough start. Like I remember in the beginning of the season, I'm like, how is this even possible? And you know, now we're seeing it's you know, kind of not. Um, you know, and they, you know, it's you know, it's kind of like now I think everybody's yeah, I think everybody's seeing them for what they are. Again, not saying I had them picked to go the distance, but I'm not surprised they're going the distance. And I think people are seeing them now for what they for what they are. I think they've been this team for a while now, and it it's um yeah, I mean it, it's it's you know, it was a crazy weekend. And again, like they just never they just never quit. You can never count them out. And listen, you you hit it on the head.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, uh again, when I I picked them to lose Athens, I just thought Athens was gonna be a good one.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think a lot of people would have, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And and I mean, again, I'm not like, oh my god, shocked that PD's in the mix, but they had to go down a hard road, you know, like you said, and it's like you know, you start playing the percentages, it's kind of like, do they have it? And um to go through Athens and even a team that flew under the radar like Columbus. I mean, I mean, it now here's that question. Like we always said, are they are they prime still? Do they still have the energy? You know, they just went through a grueling three game. Like, do they have you know, but bingo went through a hard one too. So it's it's very it's it's just it's just gonna be that's why I kind of as a fan, I love the format the Federal League has with the playoffs. As a fan, I love it, and um it's gonna be very, very interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, absolutely. And yeah, I know they're the game three for PD got that was pretty early into overtime that they ended it. The game two was early too, wasn't it? That didn't go deep into overtime, did it?

SPEAKER_02

I don't think so. Uh I don't, you know what? I I don't I know Vadim Frolloff scored X Danberry hat trick. I I don't remember when it was, but uh you know it's it's they just got they just got the magic right now, and they just uh setting up some finals, man. I mean, uh a team that's looking to make history, a three-peat against uh inaugural season team. I mean, you couldn't have scripted it any better.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, I no, I absolutely yeah. The reason why I was wondering about the overtimes is because like you know, you mentioned you know, you mentioned um you know being tired or whatnot, and you know, like they're kind of lucky that they didn't go, you know, at least it wasn't you know two games that went into double or triple overtime. Like, yeah, like that wears on you fast. And um, you know, but they've what's interesting is they have they should, you know, maybe a little bit of differences with the overtime, but they should have the same record as Bighamton now going into the finals, like where both, you know, they both swept the series, both won three games in the series. So from that standpoint, I mean the same record. Um, but it's uh it's gonna be it's gonna be interesting. You know, they both they when they played each other like we talked about last week during the regular season, they should have I think they only played twice, should have been split the games. Um if I remember correctly off the top of my head, I think Binghamton won game one six one, and then PD shut him out four-nothing the next night. So it's I mean, you know, on paper going into this, it's you know, it takes away the the three-peat factor. I mean, you know, the near the recent past is pretty equal.

SPEAKER_02

I listen, man. If you would have told me a few weeks ago, listen, it's gonna one by hook or crook, it's gonna end up being bingo and pd in the end. I would have said bingo's just gonna steamroll, you know what I mean? But man, I don't know. I mean, I'm gonna stick with my guns because I'm gonna stick with my guns and go bingo, but man, I I don't know. I I mean, I'm I don't PD right now is just so that that like momentum, like people don't understand like confidence and momentum. You can't put a number on it. They are not gonna be intimidated going to Binghamton. They um they just they have a swagger right now, and that's not an easy place to play either. It's just um to me, I look at goaltending again. Um I I think uh I think Dominic Timay is just going to be an X factor, and when it's all said and done, um I just have that feeling he's gonna be an X Factor. Um, but who knows? I mean, he I I said the same thing when they were playing Athens, you know, Athens has strong goal contending, they put up six, seven, eight goals. So you just don't know.

SPEAKER_00

And then you bring in Colgan with the experience again, right? He's already won ship in this league.

SPEAKER_02

So so I don't I'm gonna stick with my guns because I've had such a horrible time predicting from the start. My bracket got busted immediately, but I I I have Binghamton going from the start, and uh I listen, I you know selfishly would love to keep the cup in the north, you know, closer to Danbury, be an easier trip for the cup next year to come back to Danbury, it's a little shorter trip. So I don't know, man. I just I think PD though, they have a lot of magic right now. So it's it's gonna be um, and you know what, they're playing with house money because although they've always had on paper a stacked team, I don't think anyone really predicted them to go all the way to the finals. So when you're kind of playing with house money, I mean they want to win, but it's kind of like I I think the pressure is more on Binghamton.

SPEAKER_00

Um, you know, yeah, there's a different kind of pressure. Like you're not only trying to win a championship, you're trying to three peat, right? You're almost trying to win it twice.

SPEAKER_02

Because like it's like there's not other honest, like to win a title three times in a row, I don't care what sport, what league, what level, that is so we've always I've always been preaching, hey, they're not phased, they're experienced, but this is a different pressure that they've never felt before, you know, and and it's gotta be in the back of their heads like hey, this is history, and uh we're gonna see. But I'm gonna stick with Binghamton just because that was my first day pick. But uh man, I tell you, if if PD's hoisting that cup, I'm not gonna be, like you said, shocked, but it would be it would be, I think that would be, you know, that's just as historic, actually. So we're gonna see history one way or the I don't know if the Fed ever had a team that won it in their first year. I don't know. I don't really know the whole history, but yeah, one way or the other, we're getting one way or the other, we're likely getting history.

SPEAKER_00

So um, you know, it's a lot exciting, that's for sure. Buckle up, man.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna be a good one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I'm trying to think like who's three, like so. The Florida Everblades should have three-peeded a few years back. They may actually do they win four in a row, or they may have lost going for their fourth. But the Florida Everblades and the ECHL, they should have recently won three in a row. But like, yeah, like that's like it's a good point. Like, it's it's it's a distraction because really, like, you don't get anything for three-peeding, right? Three P, you know, it's almost like just something that doesn't matter, but it's something everybody's thinking about, and it's taking brain energy, it's taking focus, but it's something that ultimately, you know, you just you know, and same thing for attendance, but not three peating, and same thing for PD, man.

SPEAKER_02

It's like, man, this is our first season. We're breaking all sorts of attendance records. We've done everything like you couldn't have scripted basically a better first year, but now it's like, all right, well, that last leg. Of the hill. Now we got the cherry on top. Can we reach it? And it there's just you know, there's always pressure at regular season games. There's pressure, but this is a pressure-filled finals for a lot of different reasons than normal. So it's gonna be uh man, I'm jacked up just uh be streaming it and watching, and uh you know, it's gonna be a lot of fun, man. I I can't wait to watch.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, absolutely. And if PD does pull off the upset, I mean that's that's like a sweeter victory, right? Like she's talking about all these things in the first year, but now like if you win it in this way the first year against a team like Binghamton, like it's like a sweeter, it's like a sweeter victory.

SPEAKER_02

No, you're right. You're crush you you basically stopped. You you you basically crushed the dynasty. Like, like you're right. I didn't think of that. You know, on the other token, you know, Binghamton wants to be that team to say, hey, we're the first dynasty in the Fed, probably. One of the I mean, there's not a lot of dynasties in minor league hockey, period, but to be the team to stop that from happening, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

In your first year, knocking off Athens, then coming back two games.

SPEAKER_02

You can't script it, man. You can't say that. It's it's gonna be wild, man. It's uh X Factor Dominic Tamey at the end of the day, defense wins championships. I just think he is just such a good goalie. And you know, he played for a goalie, if this makes sense. He plays fast, meaning, you know what? He's very good on breakaways, you know. PD gets a lot of breakaways, a lot of two-on-ones, very good laterally. You know, that's gonna play uh he's not like some big 6'6 guy that that you know it's hard to score on, but maybe a little immobile. This guy can move, so that's an X factor. Dominic Tamey is the X factor to me. Um, both are stacked on offense, both. I mean, great coaches. You you you go down the checklist, they're pretty on paper. There's a lot of even, but Dominic Time to me is an X factor. But then again, you know, Colgan with the experience.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, there's a lot, there's a lot of opposites. Like, even look at the coaching, right? Like we have yo, you know, one rising star coach, another guy that has a lot of experience at higher levels and has been there. Like, it's it's there's there's like polar opposite, like there's like opposites on a lot of different sides of the equations that are both both you know, both strengths, both very big strengths, and it's gonna be a so like I'm prolonging this talk because I'm trying to see if I'm gonna flip-flop and change my vote, but I'm going with Binghamton.

SPEAKER_02

I gotta stick to my guns. I I just maybe I I've seen them so much this year. I I know what they can do, and I think everyone does, but uh it's gonna be fun. Dominic Tameda, X Factor, Zach Serrata is another X factor. I think he's a guy that could uh really as a forward cause some problems, you know. He could get under your skin, and uh, you know, we'll see, man. It's gonna be fun.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, now so for PD, right? Everybody says, like the road team, like if you could split on the road, that's what you want to do. You take it. Is a split at home good for them? Do you think that do you think they have to win both home games going into do they have to go into Binghamton up 2-0, or is going into Binghamton one?

SPEAKER_02

So it's PD two and then Binghamton three, correct?

SPEAKER_00

That's what I heard. It's gonna be two, yeah, PD two, opening two, and PD, and then the last three in Binghamton. That's what I heard.

SPEAKER_02

But if you're if you're listening I I think a team against Binghamton, you gotta win every game. Like you you can't be satisfied with a split against bingo. Um they are just they're like a machine, man. It's it's you gotta take them both if you can, obviously. I think that's the goal is always take both, but um listen, PD won in Athens, they've won in Columbus. Um, I think going to Binghamton isn't gonna intimidate them, but you know, uh, I think they gotta, I you know, they gotta get off hot and they gotta keep the see. That's my question, though. My biggest as we're talking, my biggest question is one thing I know about bingo is the minute they got their foot on your neck, they're never letting go. Like never. Um, that was the biggest problem with the Danbury Hat tricks this year. A lot of our losses, we had our foot on the neck, and for some reason we we kind of released a little. But does PD when it the pressure is at the highest, like they gotta get off hot and they gotta keep their foot on their neck as much as possible because Binghamton is is liable. I I've said this for a few weeks straight now. It's like they probably have they're probably the league leader in you know, time in between goals. I'm telling you, like I've seen them write off three goals in two and a half minutes. You know what I mean? It's like, yeah, they gotta, they gotta, they gotta uh they did it again last week.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, the one didn't count, but they had the one get waved off, and like 15 seconds later they put another one in.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, they've done that so many times, it's not even funny. I I mean they are just we're gonna see, man. It's there's like you said, so many there even on paper, there there's a lot of similarities, but so many polar opposite themes to this and storylines, and uh you couldn't have scripted a better finals. I mean, this is literally um this is literally like other than Danbury being in it, but other than that, I mean, this is the best. You could have scripted this better. Don't worry, next year, next year the the real dynasty begins next year. You'll see. Don't don't worry about it, you'll see.

SPEAKER_00

That was fun.

SPEAKER_02

But no, you you like I'm always thinking as a promoter too, boxing promoting it. It's like bet what a you know, the upstart first year team against the juggernaut. You know, it's like it's yeah, very Rocky Drago-ish. So let's see what happens here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and you know what's cool too, like both fan bases, right? Like both did big numbers with fans and everything. I mean, like PD was loud, like the game. Uh I forget which one it was, uh, but like they were loud. It sounded like an NHL game. Like, I mean, I know both like both fan bases have been very supportive. Um, PD actually made, I think, unless something changed, I think they actually set the Federal League attendance record for for a home team. Uh, I think they did over 8,000 one game this year, or just under 8,000, right around there.

SPEAKER_02

A lot of magic, a lot of magic for that franchise right now. And uh battle of some really good jerseys and uniforms, too. Because I gotta tell you, you know, Binghamton love their jerseys, love the color scheme, and I really people sleep on PD's uniforms, so there's another storyline for people, you know. I like PD's uniforms a lot. I love both of these guys' jerseys, and they also have, you know, throughout the year, they've been two of the better teams with them jersey nights. So those are little details I watch, yeah. And uh, I'm I'm excited, man. I just uh I just can't wait for the weekend to come and and you know, we'll see see how this story ends here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, we'll see. We'll see what happens. Every uh the whole summer series that we did this show. Every team said, you know, pretty much the theme of the summer series was we gotta build a team that could be Bighamton. And you know, everybody had them pegged from the beginning. Now we're at the end. We'll see if you know PD's gonna be the last ones here to be able to give it a shot. We'll see, we'll see what happens.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, it's gonna be a lot of fun, and and uh yeah, they gotta get off hot and keep that pressure on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, absolutely. Um, any any final thoughts, AJ?

SPEAKER_02

Hey, you know what? My bracket was busted after the first few games of the pro season, but I had Binghamton from the start. I'm keeping it, it's gonna be a lot of fun. You gotta be watching. I don't care what fan, you know, what team you're a fan of, this is gonna be a fun one. This isn't like, you know, sometimes you get to the finals and it's like on paper, it's like, ah, this might be a boring one. This is gonna be like rock'em sock'em, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

And uh fast paced back and forth, or sometimes you see those series like where it's just kind of like yo, almost like a def like a almost like a silent chess match, just like battery.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, no, there's no chess here. Both these teams are freewheeling, they're just flying out there, a lot of speed on the ice. I mean, yeah, man, you can't um you could have asked for a better series. I I can't wait to watch.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, it's gonna be great. Um, so yeah, and remember, if if you're new here, you can watch every game for free on YouTube. You could also watch for free on Sporfee. Uh, you can get there from the Federal Prospects Hockey League website, and um, yeah, just go on YouTube and look at whatever team speed you want to watch.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that that's the other thing I gotta say, man. Also, the broadcast, Binghamton's broadcast, is like watching an NHL game. Yeah, they do they do a good job.

SPEAKER_00

You know, so commentators are funny.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, they're great. Both those guys, I don't know the names, but they're they they're really good commentators. Um, listen, that's the thing, too, is like when I try to tell people around here, like, hey, watch the way games on YouTube, people just hear YouTube and think, uh, you know, what is this gonna be like Tubi or something? You know what I mean? Listen, bro, both teams, PD and Black Bears got great broadcasts, so it's like, you know, if you're a little older, have a grandchild or nephew or niece show you how to put it on the TV. It's not as hard as you think. And uh, it's gonna be like watching NHL. I mean, it's uh both have really good broadcasts.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yep, absolutely. And if you're older, it's YouTube. I know older people like to put like to pluralize everything. Oh, help me with the YouTube's.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, listen, just ask, got family. Don't it's okay to ask. You know, my dad recently asked me a question, I couldn't believe a technical one. It's okay to ask, just ask somebody. You you gotta know someone young, and they'll show you. It's uh UYO tube, and uh yeah, just just uh yeah, you maybe you should put you know what uh Eric, maybe you should do before Friday, like you know, a tutorial online and and blast it out on the maybe FPHL could put on their homepage and do a tutorial. It's it's it's it'll be nice, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

YouTube.com. But yeah, no, every game free, awesome broadcast on both sides. Um, great call, you know, great um, you know, broadcasters on both sides. And um, yeah, no, that sounds good. AJ, appreciate it as always.

SPEAKER_02
