Oggi Gelato: The Gilded Scoop - and from scoops to saves, raising money for PAWS
Paula goes inside the luxury gelato brand Oggi Gelato, interviewing Fairfield, CT owner Maurizio Ricci on location over a delicious Affogato to raise money for animals who need adoption. Oggi Gelato slow-churns small batches in-house, leaning on local milk and seasonal fruit whenever possible, and importing essentials—like pistachios from Italy—for depth you can taste. The result: dense, silky gelato with clean ingredients and bright, honest flavor.
It was Rainbow Bridge Rememberance Day, and PAWS (Pet Animal Welfare Society) brought some adorable dogs up for adoption. Paula also interviews PAWS executive director Kerry Dobson. PAWS is Norwalk’s nonprofit animal rescue and adoption center. They provide medical care, spay/neuter, and foster-to-adopt support to place cats and dogs in loving homes.
