What if the woman your man calls a goddess... isn't the same woman you see when you look in the mirror?

A man can adore you, desire you, and even place you on a pedestal, while deep inside you still feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or not enough.
Why does that happen?
In this episode of *The Mind I Live In*, Katara Lilith explores the two kinds of goddesses every woman should understand: the woman a man sees, and the woman who truly feels powerful from within.
Together, we'll dive into the psychology of attraction, the neuroscience of emotional regulation, feminine energy, nervous system co-regulation, self-worth, and the hidden reason some women naturally create peace, trust, and magnetism wherever they go.
You'll discover:

• Why men often see women differently than women see themselves
• The surprising psychology behind "my goddess"
• How nervous systems influence relationships
• Why emotional states are contagious
• The difference between validation and true self-worth
• How feminine presence affects your family, children, and partner
• The power of remaining calm during emotional chaos
• Why some women become unforgettable without trying
• The neuroscience behind feminine magnetism
• How to stop seeking approval and start creating inner peace

The deepest feminine power was never about being worshipped.

It was about becoming so connected to yourself that you no longer need the world's permission to know your worth.

Does your man see you as a goddess? More importantly, do you see yourself as one? Because those are two completely different things. A man can worship a woman who secretly feels insecure. Why? Because there are two kinds of goddesses. The one your man calls a goddess, and the one who genuinely feels like one, and they are not always the same woman. In fact, sometimes they're complete opposites. Today we're diving into the neuroscience, psychology, feminine energy, and male perception behind the two kinds of goddesses every woman should understand. So which one are you, and more importantly, which one you want to become? Let's start with the goddess your man wants. Because most women spend years trying to become her. You are beautiful, desirable, magnetic, but not a goddess. Why? See, when a man calls a woman his goddess, he's often not describing her at all. He's describing himself. Deep inside every man lives a simple question Am I enough? Am I respected? Am I valuable? Am I the man I want to be? When a woman he admires chooses him, his brain instantly creates meaning. If a woman like you loves me, I must be worthy. If a woman like you desires me, I must be special. If a woman like you believes in me, maybe I really am the man I hope to become. You become the proof of his value. That's when men move mountains for a woman. That's why a man can worship a woman who secretly feels insecure, anxious, or disconnected from herself. His experience of her and her experience of herself can be completely different realities. Men, my dear ladies, perceive you only through the lens of how I feel about myself when I'm with her. That's how men's ego operates, period. Now let's talk about the second goddess, the one that matters more. The woman who feels like a goddess from the inside. Not because someone chose her, not because she won the attention of a man, not because the world approved of her. She feels it because she is no longer at war with herself. And that changes everything. Have you ever met a woman who wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet somehow everyone noticed her? She wasn't necessarily the prettiest woman in the room, but there was something about her that made people relax, open up, and feel comfortable around her. Neuroscience gives us part of the answer. Human beings are constantly reading one another's nervous systems. Long before people consciously evaluate your appearance, status, intelligence, or accomplishments, their brain is asking a much simpler question. How do I feel around this person? Am I safe? Can I trust them? Are they confident? Are they anxious? Are they grounded? Most of this happens below conscious awareness. Before people hear your words, they feel your state. What many people call energy, neuroscience often describes as nervous system communication. We are constantly sending signals through our voice, facial expressions, breathing patterns, posture, eye contact, and emotional regulation. The brain is processing thousands of these signals every second. Let me give you a simple example from my own life. Recently, I was interviewing several candidates for a position in my company. One of the men I interviewed wasn't necessarily the most impressive on paper. He wasn't trying to sell himself aggressively, but there was something about the way he spoke. His voice was calm, steady, confident, and emotionally regulated. I had never met him in person. He would be working remotely. Yet within minutes, I noticed something happening inside me. I felt reassured. I felt that things would be okay. I felt that this person could be trusted. And that's exactly the point. My nervous system had already formed an impression before my conscious mind finished evaluating his qualifications. He got the contract because of how he made me feel. Not through manipulation, not through persuasion, through regulation, through presence, through the emotional state he was transmitting. This is one of the reasons some people seem naturally magnetic. Their nervous system communicates certainty instead of chaos. Their brain isn't constantly broadcasting fear, insecurity, approval seeking, or internal conflict, and human beings are incredibly sensitive to this. Researchers studying emotional contagion, mirror neurons, and social neuroscience have repeatedly shown that people unconsciously absorb and mirror the emotional states of those around them. In other words, emotions are contagious. Confidence is contagious. Anxiety is contagious. Calm is contagious. This is why some people walk into a room and create tension without saying a word, while others create a sense of ease before they even speak. The woman who feels like a goddess has usually reached a point where her inner world is no longer dominated by comparison, self-judgment, and the constant need for validation. She is not spending all of her energy trying to become enough because she already believes she is. That creates something rare, abundance. Not abundance as money, beauty, status, or success, but abundance as an emotional state. She has enough trust in herself, enough self-respect, and enough inner stability that she can stop obsessing over what everyone thinks of her. The energy she once spent worrying about herself becomes available for something else, awareness. She becomes more intuitive, more observant, more attentive to what people actually need. One person needs encouragement, another needs honesty. Another needs space, another needs belief. She doesn't force herself onto the world, she responds to it. This is why feminine energy has always been so difficult to define. It isn't weakness, it isn't passivity, it isn't submission. At its highest level it is awareness, it is emotional intelligence, it is the ability to understand what is happening beneath the surface without losing yourself in the process. And here is the irony. Most women spend their lives chasing the first goddess, believing that admiration, attention, and validation will finally make them feel complete. But the moment a woman becomes the second goddess, the one who feels whole within herself, she often becomes the first one naturally. People notice her, men are drawn to her, opportunities appear, relationships deepen. Not because she learned how to attract attention, but because she no longer needs it. And that may be the greatest secret of all. The deepest feminine power was never about getting the world to worship you. It was about reaching a point where you no longer require its permission to know your own worth. So let me leave you with one final question. Which goddess have you been chasing all these years? The one the world sees or the one you feel when you're alone with yourself? Because the truth is, this has very little to do with beauty, money, success, status, or even the attention of a man. Those things can amplify who you already are, but they cannot create it. Real feminine power begins the moment you stop asking the world for permission to know your worth, the moment you stop negotiating your value, the moment you stop chasing validation and start creating peace within yourself. And when that happens, something extraordinary occurs. People feel it. Men feel it. Universe feels it. The world responds to it. Because when your inner world becomes peaceful, life seems to stop fighting you. Things begin to flow, doors begin to open, the right people arrive, the wrong people leave. Not because you've become someone else, but because you finally become yourself. Today is Friday, and on Fridays I speak what's on my mind. So if you'd like to hear my personal story of transformation, write part two in the comments, and then one of those Fridays, I'll tell you how I learned these lessons the hard way. This was always yours, Katara Lilith. And I'll see you next week in the mind I live in. Welcome to the Soft Power Society.
